1861  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: 5 BTC bounty....how to run Phoenix on Win7 64-bit on: January 19, 2012, 04:24:39 AM
Purely out of simplicity you should probably try GUI miner and you can run the phoenix miner. I found the phatk kernel option to be the most efficient.

For a standalone miner I use the following flags: -k phatk poclbm VECTORS BFI_INT AGGRESSION=12 worksize=128 FASTLOOP=false

For mining in the background and still being able to watch movies and such I lower the aggression to 5.

FYI I am mining with a 6950.

I use GUI miner for everything.....but I just got the 7970's in the mail, and they wont run with GUIminer.....
1862  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: 5 BTC bounty....how to run Phoenix on Win7 64-bit on: January 19, 2012, 04:19:37 AM
You need to run cmd.exe then run the file from location within dos

I must be doing it wrong.....what is the proper command line?  Once I am in the directory where the executable is stored.
1863  Bitcoin / Mining support / 5 BTC bounty....how to run Phoenix on Win7 64-bit on: January 19, 2012, 04:07:31 AM
Having serious issues getting Phoenix to run in Windows 7.  The screen pops up, then immediately disappears.

I am sure I could spend hours researching this on the forums, but I would rather just pay someone to give me a quick tutorial.

First person to give me the correct procedure to successfully launch Phoenix on my system gets the bounty.  THANKS!

EDIT:  will also reward the bounty to anyone who can help me get Diablo running instead.  Either or.

Bounty has been awarded!

1865  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS 6950, 5830(sold), 5770(sold) on: January 18, 2012, 07:39:31 PM
Overclocked and overvolted 1050mhz core at 1.25 volts and stays pretty cool it produces around 220-240Mhash 24/7 stable

Edit( not every 5770 is gonna be able to clock this high )

That card is a beast.....never missed a beat and runs cool.
1866  Economy / Trading Discussion / Anyone do a successful wire transfer from Bitcoinica to the USA? on: January 18, 2012, 04:07:30 PM
I am looking at the fields that need to be filled in on Bitcoinica, and they do not seem to match what My bank has given me for inbound wires.

Has anyone mastered this process?  Can you lend some advice on what goes where?

thanks!

I have 5 of the 7970's en route..... they should arrive tomorrow.

Has anyone tried these bad boys with GUIminer yet?  Didn't even think of that before I bought them.....
Right now, DiabloMiner is the fastest on them. I don't know of anyone that has tried poclbm (guiminer).

well, I will give it a whirl tomorrow and report back!

I sold around 30 cards in one month. The demand is there. Why would anybody pay you $160 when I have them for $130?

Well you are selling them so fast at ever increasing prices....you will soon run out and I will be there with more supply at the new price!

Brilliant!
1870  Economy / Goods / Re: Asus 5850 for $120 on: January 17, 2012, 10:27:30 PM
7 left.  Price is now $130.

wait....you raised the price??

supply and demand.  Undecided  They were $100 a month ago...

Not sure there is overwhelming demand.....though if I am wrong I have a boatload of 5850's I will sell you at $160 a piece.

PM me.

They owe me over 50k USD and still no news

Wow.  And this is why I don't leave much over 1K in any exchange, ever, for any reason.

Because id rather sell it as 1 system instead of of dealing with meeting tons of people by selling for parts. Worst case I just post on craigslist again =/ its so easy to sell anything when you live near LA.

Can I send you my directCU's (I have 5) to sell to these magical (idiot) buyers?

Would love to sell them for a grand.

1877  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What happened to Tradehill? on: January 17, 2012, 03:44:06 AM
BTC withdrawals work.  Just did a small one.

I have one for over 200 that seems to be permanently in process....
How long did you have to wait?  I tried 200BTC, now it's 6 hours and waiting.

About 5 days
1878  Economy / Services / Re: 30 day, 15.5 GH/s mining contract on: January 16, 2012, 05:27:46 PM
Are you willing to break this into smaller contracts?

Not at the moment.....would prefer to hold out for the entire 30 days.

If I get no takers, then I will break it up.
1879  Economy / Securities / Re: Now seeking investors for BitCorp Mining Company on: January 16, 2012, 06:27:16 AM
can someone tell me the bitcorp p/e without making me visit the globesex website?

By my rough calculations, Bitcorp is priced at a P/E of 4.

I got there by taking the market cap of the company (8,000 BTC) and dividing it into my projections of annual income of 2,000 BTC.

1880  Economy / Securities / Re: Now seeking investors for BitCorp Mining Company on: January 16, 2012, 06:14:22 AM
I realized we never updated our financials for the month of December, so here they are!

Production (in BTC)                             338.12
Operating Expenses (in BTC)                129.82     Angry
Free BTC flow                                      208.30

Dividends were sent out on the first of this month at a rate of .125 BTC per share.  We intend to keep that rate for the next 2 months, then consider another increase.

We recently purchased some 7970's, and expect to reap significant efficiency gains from them.  Excited to see what they can do for us.

-Bitcorp.
