1862  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: May 03, 2015, 01:30:54 AM
Is there some way to earn Bitcoins quickly?

Mining seems to be too far ahead of me, and faucets give out very little.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

If u r ready to take the risk, then u may probably try out investing in www.CrazyPonzi.com. It is a new game, with a very interesting set of rule, which makes sure that the operator will gain more by honestly running the game. Investment will grow 140% in 120 hour and after that It will expire, i.e. goes to next investors. Already 14+ BTC has been paid by the game. If u can play it calculative way, by controlling your greed, then u can make some coin in every 120 hour.
Its a ponzi scheme. And you must have a advance computer to mine. But in investment in crazyponzi.com is a good offer grow 140% in 120 hour is enough to save or a better income.

Ponzi's always fall though. Why? Because it is a ponzi, get in early or get screwed late.

I'm going to say it's likely to stay in the negatives between Jamphone and eretron at present.
That said if we see a decrease in this round the next one will likely be green since we haven't had a consecutive difficulty decrease in a long time.

Bitcoin Difficulty: 47,610,564,513
Estimated Next Difficulty: 47,355,872,972 (-0.53%)
Adjust time: After 231 Blocks, About 1.6 days
Hashrate(?): 325,322,454 GH/s

I would agree if we somehow get lucky enough to have a second negative.  There is no way we will get three in a row.

It has slowed down, but not near that level on new hash.  Three negative I think would be a first time ever if it happened.

I don't know if 3 negs in a row ever happened.  we are really close to 0 at the moment .

https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty     (-0.09%)

www.coinbase.com = 234 usd

188 blocks to go means  12 noon to 4 pm eastern standard time  sunday the 3rd

Bitwisdom went down slightly:

Bitcoin Difficulty:    47,610,564,513
Estimated Next Difficulty:    47,524,306,892 (-0.18%)
Adjust time:    After 143 Blocks, About 1.0 days

Still don't think we will get luck enough for 2 negatives but guess we will see in around a day.

Well I believe it is safe to say that a -1% to 0.5% is going to win. Maybe even a ninja snipe at 0.

Im Talking about other side  THE LUCK

Many here loosing too much money like me in renting hash and due to some users have many btc to spent so the winner is the power

so all other power gone ( wasted ) . Its too bad to know that about 10 btc spent daily in solo pool as a wasted power .

I want you all imagine that 400 miners worked in this environment and only one will win and 399 miners worked many days and generated a wasted power.

My point is

1st miner will solve the block in 2 days
2nd miner will solve the block in 5 days if the 1st didn't .
3rd miner will solve the block in 10 days if the 1 or 2nd didn't.
...etc

If each miners run separately in own pool sure it will solve the block , and we will save the power .

10 solo pools is lucky than only one . many miners will wins

And 10 solo pools fees (server fee ) not cost more than 200$ / month.

Well consider this, if you rent 100Th for 6 hours or 200Th for 3 hours ypu still have the same chance overall. It is mote about how much you put in. If you put in 12.5BTC you have in theory a 50% chance of finding a block. Only if the hash cost is .0101 per TH

I was wondering if anyone would do a group hash rental on westhash. Divided we have a lesser chance, but together there is a greater chance.

*Gulp* Gonna take a chance renting hash.

Here's a painful eventuality for someone:

Code:
[2015-04-30 09:26:05] Possible block solve diff 47477499325.899284 !
[2015-04-30 09:26:05] SUBMIT BLOCK RETURNED: high-hash
[2015-04-30 09:26:05] Submitted, but rejected block 354334

Note that my ckpool code figures it may as well submit blocks that look very close to the diff in case there's a rounding error, but alas that really didn't meet the target which is currently 47610564513

So close...

Ouch.

I have a question in mind for solo mining in this pool.
Is pool hashrate matter for finding a block? for everyone not for whom rent/triggered a big hashrate!
I mean when is the best time for renting hashrate, when pool hashrate is high or it doesn't matter.
Does not matter at all.

Isn't it because you still are up against the whole network?
1869  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTS Lealana Dimes on: April 30, 2015, 08:07:24 PM
Bump
could go as low as .16BTC per coin if anyone wants to buy all 5
or .18BTC for each coin

What is GBTC and what does it have to do with diff adjustment?

Is it your thought that this will raise the price of BTC?

http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/gbtc/stock-chart

looks to be put on hold see link above.

there is a rally of sorts as  I see coinbase.com at 232 usd

https://www.coinbase.com/charts

GBTC is a kind of BTC ETF and will give opportunities to "normal" investors to invest in BTC. Yes, I believe it affects BTC price in a positive way since there will be new demand for BTC.

And how do I relate to diff adjustment: Well, normally BTC price follows difficulty as what I understand from mining-price relationship. However, I believe (possible) increase in the price of BTC with this kind of demand outside of BTC world will trigger to miners back to BTC mining (regardless of electricity cost or other more profitable sha256 alt mining)
Of course , this is just my speculation.
Would be nice to see this.  Demand has not been too good. I am hoping this pushes demand upward.

Funny you think BTC price follows difficulty.   I guess it is a chicken or the egg thing.
I have had people tell me price is more dependant on how much people trust in Bitcoin. More of a how much will you put in for how much you believe it will rise. If that makes any sense.

Congrats to 1FCsjVb87kf2QDETvEgpRkHwE3rYfi4dky for finding block 41 with ~115 TH/s

[2015-04-29 21:09:43] BLOCK ACCEPTED!
[2015-04-29 21:09:43] Solved and confirmed block 354267

Congrats to the latest block solver! This pool has had stellar luck lately!

So much hash has been pointed at it Cheesy

Gold bars are pretty hard to trade around here. I know cryptoimperator was trying to get a 10 coin 1m doge gold coin funded. he has sold 6/10 so far.
1873  Other / Archival / Re: Best bitcoin faucets? on: April 29, 2015, 05:13:39 PM
I just saw freebitco.in and freedogeco.in jump their payouts.

Currently 0.00001336 for bit up from roughly 0.00000889 from earlier today

and 15 to 23 doge on dogecoin faucet

so roughly a 50% increase per roll.

1879  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Long-Term Difficulty Speculation Thread on: April 27, 2015, 12:26:46 AM
I predict we gain a few percent most weeks until next gen.  I think once next gen miners come out it will change the game.

I think that we could see double digits first weeks after the next get is successfully being made.  I think we will first see it from big mining centers, and eventually it will lead to sales to home miners.  But the biggest bump will be the professional data centers switching out old gear.

That is my guess.

If next gen jumps to 20nm or smaller processes (or ever gets released) we would probably see a large jump for a couple of cycles then hold steady till the halving. Assuming halving isn't sped up to be three months earlier than the predicted of July.

Congrats man! Insane!

Thanks bro!  Cheesy

I pushed 6 btc at it for the last few days renting  300th .  My  best share has been

"bestshare": 6,872,861,816.631629   which is 41,000,000,000 short.

I had a 30B share last night before I went to bed, that pushed me to rent a few more rigs before I went to sleep and I'm sure glad I did. I'll probably throw a few more BTC at it this week and try for 4. How many did ads2003uk get, like 5?

Cheers Mate; Your luck is Longshot worthy indeed. You need to go play poker and take it all the way...

Million dollar poker Cheesy
