Happy B-day dude! Hope you get a block (or several) P.S. are you going to be using your rigs or just rentals? I almost rented yours again this morning but I saw this post.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I've got about 200TH rented now, plus my rigs are pointed here, so 225TH total. Feel free to rent them, one way or another I'll have them pointed here for 24h total. Up to you!

Indeed, it adds to the community feel but one of the features of the pool is the relative anonymity of those mining here so if they choose to remain anonymous we'd have to respect that decision.

I have a question in mind for solo mining in this pool. Is pool hashrate matter for finding a block? for everyone not for whom rent/triggered a big hashrate! I mean when is the best time for renting hashrate, when pool hashrate is high or it doesn't matter.

Does not matter at all.

Does not matter at all. Isn't it because you still are up against the whole network?

Does not matter at all. Isn't it because you still are up against the whole network? You aren't against anyone. You are simply trying to find a hash that meets the network requirements. When someone else finds one, you simply switch your work base and continue on searching.

the best time to rent hashrate is when it is cheap. I rent my dice to you for 1 dollar you spin and hit the right number you win. I rent my dice to you for 2 dollars you spin and hit the right number you win. In both cases you when a block. When is the best time to rent when I rent it cheaper. Why it is cheaper to try. see below 0.01056 it the over under rate number. the more you are under 0.01056 the odds are more in your favor the more you are over 0.01056 the odds are more against you turning profit in the long runall the ones in blue the odds are more in their favor then against as they underpaid if they are point it at ck's solo pool noticed I used 0.0101 as the cutoff. since both ck and nicehash have a few fees you need to be a little lower then the over under price of 0.01056

Here's a painful eventuality for someone: [2015-04-30 09:26:05] Possible block solve diff 47477499325.899284 ! [2015-04-30 09:26:05] SUBMIT BLOCK RETURNED: high-hash [2015-04-30 09:26:05] Submitted, but rejected block 354334
Note that my ckpool code figures it may as well submit blocks that look very close to the diff in case there's a rounding error, but alas that really didn't meet the target which is currently 47610564513 So close...

Oh wow, 0.3% away. How close does a hash need to be to network diff for the pool to submit it?
