1861  Other / Off-topic / Re: Slapping Tournament on: May 13, 2021, 06:39:13 PM
Can this really be considered as sports or is it just a brutal entertainment for (hopefully) adults? I really cant see any advantage in this hobby. These people are bad role models for young people.

Betting sites do really have open betting for random events like politics, international pageants, and even Covid-19 related.

Sites aren't just limited to betting on actual sports so it's expected that you will see non-sports related.

And they supposed to become role models for young people? They have nothing to do with that and why should they?
1862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I swap my BTC to altcoins and hold for better benefits? on: May 12, 2021, 09:54:15 PM
Try to make a diversion. Put some percentage of your BTC to those coins you preferred which are TH, ADA, SOL, ETC. Trust me, it's exciting to have more eggs.

Try to observed within a week or two or better to wait for the coin's trend to see if that way will be a good strategy that you can apply on your future trades. There is no way we can see if it will be successful since the market is volatile. You just need some guts to do it and face whatever the result. But of course, you need to be focus while doing it, or else you will be wreck.
1863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 12, 2021, 09:34:06 PM
this will not force Lebron to come back soon, it will give Lebron more time to rest and be ready in the playoffs,

Agree with that. Only a few remaining games left and the Lakers just need to do their best so they can use Lebron in the playoffs instead of playing to their last following games.

Anthony Davis seems to get back in shape. Drummond also has a good night. And the conversation before here about inconsistent Kuzma also played a good game.

Hope that the same level of performance will be seen in their next games so they can avoid the play-in tournament.
1864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to earn in crypto in 2021 on: May 12, 2021, 09:19:08 PM
I agree on the list although that was already the ways even before especially trading.

But if people want to grow they need to test other ways such as trading with meme coins or shitcoins that suddenly become alive out of nowhere. There are some low coins recently that established a good market price.

Others should also try to be involved in the NFT craze! More and more institutions are joining the hype.
1865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: End of memecoin season by Vitalik Buterin or not? on: May 12, 2021, 09:04:40 PM
Just go with the flow. We are all gaining profits after all out from trading this meme coin.

The hype built around these coins is gaining attention and those who didn't know how to ride will surely lose money.

This was a great move:

Since they are bringing out a new idea they might actually look towards crypto community because honestly speaking as much as I like the idea and the theme, I cannot really see much interest towards this type of gambling.

The idea wasn't new but some guy wants to bring it up and making big preparations for it.

A fantasy football which was also released this year failed on creating and establishing a good number of users and later on crashed.

Unique nonetheless and I might have misunderstood the concept too.

1867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Multi-coin wallets? on: May 12, 2021, 08:30:16 PM
With the hardware wallets, if you lose the usb wallet, then you are screwed, right?

Hardware wallets are not working like a usual wallet in our pocket where we stored our fiat money and in the event of loss, it's loss!

If the hardware wallet is lost, damaged, stolen, forgotten, trash, destroy, or any forms of worst experience it got, you can always access your funds thru a master seed. Always follow the instructions on your first installation or accessing the hardware wallet for the first time. It will save you.

Swaap in Binance? Shocked

1869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My thoughts about Primedice on: May 11, 2021, 03:16:26 PM
OP, welcome to the world of gambling where losing much is expected instead of winning.

Reading your story, you think everything should go according to your own way which is not.

Don't question the provably fair, it was fair. Popular gambling sites are not doing some tricks here to cheat their players. One mistake will ruin their reputation so it's impossible for them to do that thing.
1870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to seek help if you need; concerned with gambling addiction. on: May 11, 2021, 02:53:25 PM
It made me realize that every now and then there is someone here sharing their addiction stories and it might help to have a particular thread for them to keep all the sources which could help them get their life straight again..

A person that already eaten by their eagerness to always do gambling, without worrying about everything, anything but just focus on what they want, will not read any thread or information about controlling gambling addiction.

The only cure they can get is by, fighting it on their own by force or their own will or someone close to them will guide and help them. A reality that needed to overcome.

A big shoutout to Russell Westbrook haters saying he achieved that record because of stat-padding.

Even a player will force to do a stat-padding, it's hard to do that triple-double every game intentionally.

Appreciate greatness. That record can't be broken for another 10 to 20 seasons I think. Smiley
1872  Local / Altcoin Announcements (Pilipinas) / Re: [PH][ANN] Swaap | Enhancing multichain payment systems on: May 11, 2021, 02:05:46 PM

Inaanyayahan ang lahat na bumisita sa official forum ng Swaap.

Ang lahat ng core updates tungkol sa proyekto ay dito na ipopost sa hinaharap at ang Bitcointalk ANN thread ang magiging secondary thread.

1873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm now all in BTC. All eggs in one basket! on: May 11, 2021, 01:47:29 PM
I know putting all eggs in one basket is not very wise but I don't feel like investing in anything else right now. Is this a risky move? Maybe yes, maybe not.

If you think you are comfortable with that strategy, the floor is always yours to decide on, and don't mind others.

Holding for a long time now, you should already know what you are doing including all the risks that you will face.

Trust your own decision. You won't do it if you aren't sure in the first place.
1874  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bigas PH are now accepting cryptocurrency? on: May 11, 2021, 06:47:08 AM
Isa pa, kung same lang din naman ang prize ng mga bigas nila sa market I assume mas convenient pa din na bumili sa malapit nalang considering the high fees + of course delivery charge pa.

Ang purpose kasi nila is to support local farmers.

1875  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much can you predict this sh*t?! Or is it pure gamble? on: May 11, 2021, 06:27:46 AM
What causes prices to go up? What causes them to go down? Obviously, no one knows for certain when it would happened, but has there been a consistent "pattern" lately? When prices have gone down, have you known to a reasonable degree than they would bounce back up? How?

Others are relying on past and historical performance that's why there's always repetitive speculation whenever the price goes up or down.

To avoid confusion on what to do, don't read other's views but instead, make your own analysis about the current trend.
1876  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcointalk Charity Program - Give Hope To Everyone! on: May 11, 2021, 05:20:32 AM
Hi guys I just wanted to ask if you help individuals that are struggling due to health problems.

Based on what I observed on the charity, the funds are limited and the more prioritized are mass public so I think individuals problems might not be entertained for now but you can reach the OP by giving a DM.

For health problems;

-you can reach your local charity at your place as it will give you more chance to be entertained
-you can also reach the social media community and post your health-related concerns so you can catch the attention of others like what others are doing
-you can also set up a thread here but you need to provide solid proof for transparency
1877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shopping time guys. Fill your bags now. on: May 11, 2021, 05:00:27 AM
Just for others to be aware, the market is not in a bearish trend.

There's just a price declined that happened at most coins in 24h monitoring and everyone should consider taking that chance to buy again as that opportunity takes time to happened especially within the middle of the bullish run.

Everyone doesn't have to follow OP's topic. We have our own way to determined when we should buy so follow yours rather than follow others.

1879  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: May 06, 2021, 09:58:43 PM
Are you talking about those streamers that stream their gambling session? All of them are paid by the casinos. The money they receive for playing goes back into the casino. As far as I know, the streamers aren't allowed to withdraw anything. Hence, they don't care at all if they win or lose.

Yes that was OP is referring to. That kind of advertisement is already usual to see so OP just have to be used on it.

OP doesn't like the way because it's like a scam although it's still up to the viewers if they will gamble on the promoted site. We can see that kind of advertisement not just in the gambling but for other services, products and even games as well.
1880  Other / Archival / Re: Why Live Blackjack? on: May 06, 2021, 09:42:18 PM
I don't have experience playing Blackjack on Roobet yet but I think there's a Blackjack games where it's all about provably fair.

There are about several Blackjack of different types there but not all are accessible to region. Example here in my region, the live Blackjack you are talking is not possible to access here. Maybe that was the case to you that's why you can't access the other Blackjack games.

But even if it's purely live betting, I don't see how this old stuff is a problem. If Roobet can afford to pay dealers, why should we take it as a problem?
