1861  Economy / Economics / Re: When is the right time to buy bitcoin ? on: October 10, 2017, 02:34:46 PM
You can always wait for the value to dump for the easy profit but if you're looking for a long term investment then anytime is the right time, since the value will surely grow over time.

Indeed.  Many people are always waiting for the bitcoin price to drop.  Well I have bought some bitcoin when Dimon announced that bitcoin is a fraud and when China banned bitcoin in their country.  Bitcoin price that time dropped and I took advantage of it. But if you have a money and you believed that bitcoin price will goes up then you could buy anytime.
1862  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: October 10, 2017, 02:29:49 PM
Saving is an good option..that will help you to invest in future.. atleast make a plan that you can save a part of your salary which gonna be helpful to you to invest.
If you dont save how you gonna invest?? And if you can directly invest ie if you are rich enough then why you need to save?? you can directly go for an investment.

Some people actually dont save. Theres situations like people who win a lottery, or take over their daddys company at the age of 21.

Of course these are all special situations, and not applied to the 90%, but to comment on the rich not needing to save is a bit naive as well. I know a fellow friend save just as well much with investing cause incase the investment does go bad or for future loss being covered.

True some people actully no need to save because they already got what they want but still they need saving too for their future if suddenly in one day you loss your in you investment, altough you are rich may be in one day your money will be all gone and this saving will help you but it can't provide all of your loss, at least it can help you a little bit
That is exactly my points. Even if it will not help you or you dont need it for investment still you have a money if your money in investment will gone. It may help you to have a financial and make a business if you dont like business invest again.

I dont think saving will not help you because it is your money that you cut from your own salary and try not to use it so it will be useful in the future. But that saving is only thing that you can get by collecting in a long time and you need to try to invest on something good. But its just lke a gamble, if it gone then it will gone forever
No. Savings will great help even if you losses your money in investment still you try to invest and if you dont try how you will know that your money will loss or earn a profit? If you not save and you spend all of your salary monthly how you can get a money if you need it for emergencies or other purpose? Think of that, think if savings will not help us in the future.

I Agree.
If you have habbit of saving from the initial stage you will be holding great fund in future. So even if your investment goes wrong you atleast have something which can earn you living in future. If you have saved something that would be helpful for you at the time of emergencies.
Theres no negative in savings.  Savings are so very helpful to people who dont know what they are goin to do with their salary and your saving will be safe if you put it in the bank. It may avoid lost and it may avoid the possible things that will happened to your money

The problem is when banks start to stop being as safe as we previously thought. Banks can crash, bailout, get robbed, and negative interest is a bitch. So unless you really need it, you should do something with your money and not only keep it on the bank, unless you are rich enough to make decent gains from simple interest rates.

you don't necessarily need to store them in your bank account, you can leave them in your house in a safe box underground, well hided, the same thing you will do with a paper wallet...

the problem with fiat is that you can't save them for long time without losing value, because of the fact that bank keeps printing those like mad childrens, you a re obbligated to invest in something

bitcoin instead is already an investment, because it has a store of value property
But if you invest you wont assure that your money can earn a profit , it may loss. And thats right the valued of the fiat money are decreasing as time passes by. If your money is $70 and you save it and you put it in your storage in your house after a year the value of your $70 maybe its only 65 dollars.

i was talking more about an interest on deposit, and not exactly investing your money in gambling things, which i don't like to be honest

i don't like gambling because you can't invest your time in it, but only your money
Yeah and in gambling theres a high risk very high. It may the reasons why you are become poor. And n gambling your always lose example if you win today i assure you tomorrow you will lose.

OMG guys just cut the quotes out, you are multiquoting too many people, your post fill up half of the page lol  Cheesy

There is no point of saving money under pillow. The value of that money just keeps dropping.
So my answer is: definitely choose investing over saving.
With investing you beat inflation + gain a little extra profit too Smiley
And in long run you can be millionaire!

If you want to gamble, gamble in stocks instead of casino

Lol saving money under pillow is very old style and not give you interest. Better save your money in the bank and get interest.
Nah, gamble is good IF you win  Grin but if you lose haha, High Risk High Return. Better play save by invest on real life like a building or something.
Maybe to end this topic is to choose both. This two kind of strategies have their own importance in way we can adapt each other to a better earning strategies.

Well, we must save first then invest,. Through investing we can save,. Invest 50% then save 50% how about that. If you loss in investing we have our savings in the past money that we invest. So that it is not so risky. Because you will not loss 100% only 50%.

Yes you are correct.  Even financial advisers I have watched, suggested that we should atleast save first our money.  Then after you have saved like three to four months of your salary as emergency fund thrn you can start to invest.  Investing is a good thing because it will make your money work for you.  It will give a huge return compared to the interest given by the banks.
1863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: October 10, 2017, 02:18:02 PM
Today morning i listen to the radio and heared news that university in Swiss accept bitcoin payment for education, and also study blockchain technology.

Maybe this is the one you heard about or related to it.

Visit this thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2246596.msg22703925#msg22703925

Almost all have agreed to this idea and those who don’t are has closed-minded for an empowerment to the students. Everyone of them has a valid theoretical view on its advantages and disadvantages but doesn’t look for acceptance of the society that might also beneficial to us, bitcoin users and investors.

But soon as nation open its door on embracing bitcoin/cryptocurrency is the day all ideas will not be on paper but in reality.

Well it does not mean that because you do not agree to it completely you can say you are close minded.  We all have different views and opinions to this.  I stick with my opinion that it could be discussed in schools but not as a subject.  It can be a topic for the subject programming or other subjects related to it.  For sure it will come a time that bitcoin will be widely known.
1864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using bitcoins for? on: October 10, 2017, 02:04:55 PM
I use bitcoins to buy altcoins, move around the space, buying some services here and there, and very rarely withdraw some and change them into fiat. I am planning on using them to purchase some gadgets and such in the future.

Seems that you are a high of discipline. You already have a good plan about your bitcoin as to where and how to use it.  I never tried buying altcoins as I do not know how to have an income with it.

I use bitcoins to pay my bills and loading up my phone.  That is how I use my bitcoins because the very reason why I am here is that I want to earn an extra income.
1865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin Dream? on: October 10, 2017, 01:59:07 PM
My dream is to have at least 10 bitcoin by end of the year next year. I don't have a lot of money to buy bitcoin so my ways of earning bitcoin is joining signature campaign only. But I am still on the look other ways on who to earn more bitcoin.

My only way of earning bitcoin is the same as yours.  Through signature campaign I was bale to earn a decent amount of money.  It is even the same as to my salary in my job.  I am dreaming of having a good amount of bitcoin and then will use it to build a business.  Bitcoin really gives me a lot of hopes to become rich someday.
1866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: October 10, 2017, 01:53:36 PM
For now, my plan is only keep collecting and earning bitcoins from my services. For the future, i want to open a business about bitcoin related in my area.

Yep, same here, Let's take it slowly but surely, at the end of the day we all just strive to earn as much as possible but success is not a race it is an adventure and my plan is to enjoy the ride, take time to learn and make sure I don't miss anything whether about cryptocurrencies or my life itself.

All of us almost have the same plan.  To hold our bitcoins until we reached our target amount of bitcoins.  And then put it into business and make some more bitcoins.  By doing this, we are securing ourselves for a good future.  I also want to have a business.of my own for me to be freed from working eight hours a day.
1867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: October 10, 2017, 01:43:25 PM
because bitcoin is easy for everyone to use. safe and fast. very wide bitcoin network. and today many people already know it.

I agree in all the things you stated.  It is easy for those who are familiar with bitcoin.   We can say that it is safe because no one can stole your bitcoin because you are the only one who knows your wallet adress.  It is truly fast whenever you want to pay, transfer or even buy things online. Plus the fact that it can give people an extra income.
1868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I lost 95 Bitcoin on: October 10, 2017, 01:38:39 PM
Thanks for the reminder for all of us to stay safe and secure. Hope this doesn't weigh to heavily on you mate

Yes, it should be a lesson to all of us.  Not to trust anyone and to just simply login from computer somewhere.  Sorry tonhear his loss but I do not think that we might get those bitcoin again.  Probably it was already keep in a safe wallet.  Maybe it was already converted into cash to keep it.  It is sad to hear that it was stolen.  Pity him because he or she do not play fair enough.
1869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia banning BTC? on: October 10, 2017, 01:29:21 PM
I do not know if it is true.  Let say it is true, there is nothing we should be worry about.  We have seen and heard things like that about banning and even saying bitcoin is fraud.  Nothing happened at bitcoin because many are still supporting bitcoin.  It is a time for everyone to buy more bitcoins because for sure bitcoin price will goes up again.
1870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people left their full-time employment to go into Bitcoin? on: October 10, 2017, 01:25:37 PM
this has happened a lot and in my team there are already some of them leave the job and focus dibitcoin and this makes me very surprised, but I myself still make bitcoin as a family additional funds and fully still focus on long work.

Me too have a fulltime job and I am still not wanting to leave my job because it gives me a stable income.  Whether you work very hard or not, you still have money at the end of the month.  Maybe those who left their jobs for bitcoin already have a stable working routine at bitcoin.  They already established efficient ways to earn stable income through it.
1871  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: October 10, 2017, 01:17:37 PM
I think bitcoin will be getting more expensive than we expect.

Yes and it is better to buy some while its price is still low compared to the price it will attain on the next days.  There is no late date or time when you want to invest.  Because bitcoin price may go up in the coming days so it is okay to buy some now.  If you have an extra money then you can always buy anytime you want.
1872  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: October 10, 2017, 01:14:36 PM
because they believe bitcoin prices will rise,  so they hold it
but I personally, use some for trading and some for investment
because I have a belief the bitcoiN price could reach $ 5000 even more.
my assets add more, to make me rich  Grin
I love bitcoiN.

I also love bitcoin.  Almost all of us here are into bitcoin because it could give us more income or profit considering its price.  Its price continuously goes up and give us enough reason to hold and keep our bitcoins.  Bitcoin is my chance to have enough earnings and securing my future.  Since knowing bitcoin and saving some of my earnings, I have already gain profit.
1873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Gates Praised the Bitcoins on: October 10, 2017, 12:43:05 PM
Bill Gates praised bitcoin because he is a technopreneur he knows what bitcoin can do to daily life. He is smart guy he knows everything in Bitcoin so he adopt the cryptocurrency to his company and i heard his long term plan to have a Crypto token.

So would that mean that he will launched his own cryptocurrency?  That would be somewhat a threat to bitcoin because it will be launched by one of the richest man in the world.  Anyways, indeed he is into technology that is why he is supporting bitcoin.  It will help the bitcoin community to make it more stronger.
1874  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: October 09, 2017, 11:59:17 AM
Yes, i believe in God.
And i believe he's in control even here.

Yes, we are here, bitcoin is created, and God is forever.  There should be no debate on this.  The fact that we exist only shows that some great thing or some super power is there.  God is our Creator.  We are here because of Him.  There is no creation if none created it.  God is like a wind, we cannot see Him but we feel His presence through his blessings.  Those best things in life that are free?  It is from God.  Our Saviour.  Our Father.
1875  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you agree in death penalty? on: October 09, 2017, 11:56:29 AM
No one knows about death, and death can not be delayed or accelerated even for a second, so I disagree with death penalty, because death is a secret that no human who know.

Well yes, but the question is about death penalty after committing a heinous crime.  As a person growing in a country full of criminality and injustices, I agree that it should be implemented.  Those people who are full of evil are always thinking of bad things about others.  They are under the influenced of drugs and too much drinking and addiction.  These people are no good to society and even do not want to live.  So I agree with death penalty once proven that they indeed do that crime.
1876  Economy / Economics / Re: How much money do you have left from your job? on: October 09, 2017, 11:50:39 AM
I don't have any work now, because now i am still studying, but if ever i have a work. All my income from that will use for all my future purposea or i rather save it. Then all ofy income from my real work will use for all our daily needs.

I am working for maybe a couple of years right now and I do not have any savings as of the moment.  I just have some savings after earning through bitcoins.  Salary now is really low.  It is just only for our daily expenses and paying our bills, it is enough for those things.  Thankfully someone introduced bitcoin to me and since then, I now have a savings.  Since you are still young and still studying, just save as much as you can.  Be frugal.
1877  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: October 09, 2017, 11:47:58 AM
Make money from money actually is right but not simple that you have money and you will earn money from it for real, you could lose all the money which you spend to earn profit money. Except having money, you have to prepare a good plan with good stragedy and manage it perfectly. In investing or trading , you need to choose the right advise which bring you to heaven with your own money.
Exactly that needs much time and efforts. If someone intends to earn money from its money then as you said, it is not the cup of tea you just have. No, it takes a proper strategy and plan to which you will be sticking in future. If you are not giving it your hundred percent, believe me there will be more loss with you and your capital will be drown.

Then you should buy those sure thing that will give you your money back.  Best example would be mutual funds, buying stocks, and even shares on banks and call it us here as UITF.  Those will surely give your money and will make money out of your money.  Investment.  There would be always a risk but definitely everything is a risk so just try it.  The higher the risk the higher the profit will be.
1878  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: October 09, 2017, 11:44:52 AM
If i am in an urgently need, i would sell part of my bitcoins, but never all of them, since i know that maybe there are some problems that needs to be fixed, i would never sell all my capital because of a need. Anyway, i just have some money in cash if there is an urgent need, so i am always prepared for this kind of problems.
But nobody should sell their coins because of this.

That is a wise plan though. It is never recommended selling off all of your bitcoins in order to meet your needs. Always try to keep at least some portion of bitcoin in your wallet because you never know when bitcoin price is going to take a huge leap and you miss the epic ride. All prudent people are saving bitcoin for using tem in future when the will be rare.

Yes, we are earning bitcoins because we need money.  Bitcoin is used to be like money.  I will sell part of my bitcoins if the needs arise.  And just like you said I will keep some of them since we do not know when its price will goes up.  And ofcourse, I will continue to work hard and save bitcoin.  Just being hardworking will give us more money.
1879  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: October 09, 2017, 11:41:56 AM
Having a lot of bitcoin is a very good investment what i will do if i have so many i will encash some of them so that i could use in my daily expenses and the remaining i would save to be able to gain more profit in the coming years. With saving it i could still expect income coming from the value of bitcoin.
That is the same thing that I do. If I get a big amount of bitcoin then I divide that amount in to different parts for different purposes. Like most important part is saving, then I spare some for trading and rest I use for my daily use. Our thoughts are same.
Saving is better than spending but it should not be like saving and saving. You are ruining your present day for better future, I don’t agree with this. There must be a stable division between your expenses and investments. You are doing so well if you are dividing your investment in saving plus spending. Everything should be on this formula, life is set.

Well, it does not have to be saving and saving, because you do not know how long you will live.  In any case since the question said that if we have a "lot" of bitcoins, then I will just spend part of it.  Let us say 40% of it will be spent.  Since we are all here because of money.  We are all here because we want to have a comfortable life.  We are here to earn and have money.  So basically, we are here for bitcoins to be spent.  But of course we must be wise.  I will keep the remaining bitcoin to secure my future and that of my family.
1880  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: October 09, 2017, 11:39:03 AM
During 2015 I heard from my friend That time I didn't show any interest towards Bitcoin. I regret now.I forget it. I met my old friend last month he once again introduce me Bitcoin and I decide not to miss this opportunity and now responding in this forum.
Oh that is something sad to hear. It is so hard to accept the fact that if we would have met a friend in like 2011 or 2012 or so then we got into bitcoin, now we become billionaires. I happened to meet a friend who always talk about bitcoins and thus I was impressed by what actually bitcoins are and see now I am earning something very handsome.

Yes you are indeed correct.  Maybe if we heard about bitcoin a little bit earlier, we are now having and experiencing the benefit of bitcoin.  A good life a comfortable one.  I just knew bitcoin about two years ago.  At first I was hesitant because it is online job or online money.  Only the time when a friend of mine showed me her earnings and then that is the time I believed her.  It was like a months have passed when I started with it.  But atleast now we know and should be thankful that we are one of those who are earning through bitcoin.
