1861  Economy / Speculation / Re: This time when the stock market crashes, Bitcoin will go to moon! on: September 04, 2020, 11:27:37 AM
Sounds convincing and I partially agree with it. Due to pandemic stock are drastically decreasing along with that some big companies are closing. If this continues, investors will have no doubt of moving their investment to cryptocurrencies without any hesitation. And if this situation really happens, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will surge which we practically have seen in the last few months.
1862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is now the 6th largest world currency on: September 04, 2020, 10:54:44 AM
First and foremost I don't think Bitcoin will be comparable to fiat. Bitcoin may be a currency as well but most of us prefer not to treat that way, for we in this community think it as an asset or investment.
Bitcoin would be more comparable to precious metals like gold which was technically an asset as well. Besides, Bitcoin was too much volatile compared to fiat thus will make it unfair.
1863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is defi reason for skyrocketing fees? on: September 03, 2020, 03:43:16 PM
Is this permanent and how long will this settle, for so many months I had my transactions all in Ethereum and Bitcoin but now I have to look for a better alternative, this is the time that other altcoins will since because of this big increase on the gas fee.
I am pretty sure that this surge in transaction will not be permanent. Things will go back to normal once ETH 2.0 will be officially release so for the meantime just hold it longer, don't make any transaction as much as possible. Due to hype of DeFi there's a lot of transaction are occuring that causes congestion upon the network. And I am pretty sure things will be sort out after this period.
1864  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your plans for the coming bull on: September 03, 2020, 11:46:48 AM
The 2016/17 bull run was just for about 9month and it hit around $20k, I never thought it will end so soon then, while I was still strategizing on how to get the best of it, the time was up, it was like a movie as it was sliding down gradually, hoping it will rise till today, the few project campaign I participate in then were just what payed me well, few of them dropped their token which I never touched till today because they have so much lost value, now as the bull run commences, let's say it runs for a year, how many project campaign do you plan to cover within the period?
We're quite the same I would say. However, as soon as Bitcoin price hits $20k I quickly sold half of my earnings and it turns out well. On the other hand, just like you did on my other token hasn't been sell till now because I believed that it will grow even more which unfortunately never happened and I know I made the wrong move. Those tokens I received upon participating campaigns way back before are now just designed in my wallet. I will apparently sell them but I will now wait for the right opportunity.
1865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not so far from getting BTC globally accepted! Pornhub now accepts BTC & LTC. ;) on: September 03, 2020, 10:33:33 AM
Well, that was good news for porn lovers I would say especially on those people who don't want to reveal their identity or such. With the help of Crypto transactions will all be private and that is a good thing perfect thing in this kind of industry.

Personally, I am no fan of these things, I do have a glimpse of it not gonna lie but it didn't really suit my style though. Anyway, I think this is the start of mass adoption bitcoin and other crypto is now being accepted in various industry and I kinda like them actually. Imagine if all stores whether online or not accept Bitcoin as payments that would be pretty convenient especially for us crypto users.
1866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Fees on: September 02, 2020, 12:38:24 PM
The fees to send ETH are minimum $5 in fees ... is it going to change back to "normal"?
Who dictates how much fees are charged?
Perhaps it will back into normal just wait until ETH 2.0 release. Fees increases because the hype of DeFI and transaction tend to be congested, just for us to sort that out is to increase the gas. Increasing the gas would be just painful especially if you are a small trader. Probably the best solution is to hold that for the meantime or perhaps change to the other platform.
1867  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it alright to invest with bitcoin at the current market price? on: September 02, 2020, 11:51:57 AM
"Is it still best time to invest now with the current market price? Or will wait for bitcoin market to crash? What do you think?
Based on my experience for almost 3 years in this industry, I would say yes. However, the outcome will vary on how long you will plan to hold. If you planning to buy right now and then sell at a single amount of time then there's a high chance you will only facing a loss. But if you will buy and take your time until your invested money earns 2-3x or more then that will I call a perfect investment.
Don't afraid to invest in Bitcoin because I am pretty sure that you already know what is this coin's capabilities unlike any other coins lying in the crypto market.
1868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why isn't there an official bitcoin wallet? on: September 02, 2020, 11:09:24 AM
Simply because Bitcoin was decentralized and that what makes this coin so powerful without control of anyone. If this such this wallet exist, there's no doubt that this will be popular and will be more trusted by everyone. However, this will be kind of easy to control, this will not become decentralized and tons of trusted wallet might close that could possibly affect the crypto world.

there are a lot of wallets here in the industry and those are wallets that no one are controlling. If the bitcoin developers make their own wallet then probably they are the one who has control over those wallets.
I think mate those who own the system have control over it. Well, technically not entirely because you have control over your passphrase, pins, and such but remember, believe it or not, they are the developers of the system so they have full control over it.
1869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad projects equals Bad results on: September 01, 2020, 02:21:20 PM
This makes me remember Tokoin and tachyon protocol bounty campaign, after hunters are paid they made huge profits from this bounties and still the value are rising and not dumped, so my question is why are other bounties getting ruined after launch? Or after hunters sell their rewards? Probably because they are bad projects, hunters aren't to be blame here isn't it? Good projects will never dumped because hunters sell off
You were right. I don't think a certain token will be ruined just because of hunters sell it off, because no matter they sell as long as there are investors or simply buyers this will keep going. And perhaps that what the other token doesn't have. I remember way back 2017 in the surge of ICO, most of the tokens I received have been usually sold them right away as soon as they get listed and I don't know why either perhaps I have my instinct that this will dump later on. Guess what, I nailed it, the coin totally crushed, in fact, some of the tokens I've got have still in my wallet.
1870  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will touch the high price in 2020? on: September 01, 2020, 10:33:12 AM
Maybe not this year but if it pumps at $15k probably there's a chance. $25 was too high to achieve right now looking on the movement right now makes me doubt to make it. Though the use of cryptocurrencies is now being somehow encourage due to the situation we were right in, still this won't be enough.

Note: This is just speculation made by me and we know how unpredictable the crypto market is. Everything is possible so stand by and just watch in case of changes happen.
1871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Laws of Bitcoin on: August 31, 2020, 06:38:14 AM
i agree on all rules except on number one , you can discuss the number of your coins to the people because it encourage them to invest too  . not all people are criminal and are going to steal your coins and not all people have a huge number of coins  .

IMO, even if they are your relatives, friends and whatsoever you shouldn't discuss it no matter what because you never know what will happen they can probably just boast it to others something they know. However, if you still want to share it so badly you can perhaps tell them the estimated amount you have. Besides, there are tons of ways to encourage them like show them what things you acquired or received in doing this crypto stuff.

its also possible that some books can be manipulated and they can put wrong infos with it , thats why its better that we have to read on other sources and not all on the media are lying .
Indeed. Perhaps don't rely on a single medium I think. You can use books, media, or online articles to verify the info you have discovered. Though this will be an additional task coz you need to verify it everytime but this will guarantee you safety.
1872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 mistakes to avoid when investing in Crypto on: August 30, 2020, 12:24:14 PM
3. You dont want to rely on a single coin- Diversification is very important when it comes to investment. You dont want to put all your eggs in one basket.
I am both disagree/agree a little bit with this, bitcoin alone is already enough and safe investment if you are holding for long term. But I doubt it will work on altcoins, because some altcoins is not really trusted we are not sure if it will recover after a crashed, so diversification is good option if you prefer to invest on altcoins.

Just a little tip for investors/traders: Always set stop loss  Cheesy
Quite true. Bitcoin was enough to leave your investment however, there are some cases that Bitcoin won't be profitable in the meantime that is why you better have another coin to invest with. You shouldn't worry about what coin to invest because you can look up to the coins that are behind Bitcoin like Ethereum, BNB, and more so basically the top tier token. Usually, they positioned at TOP 100 and you could look it in coinmarketcap. Besides, the more coin you were to invest the more profit and safer you'll get.
1873  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prediction 2020 on: August 30, 2020, 11:40:21 AM
Anyone could predict on bitcoin price as this is granted in this industry that many users are waiting for the bull run to happen. It just a prediction and many people has it's different assumptions when it comes to the price. So let's see truly if what price this bitcoin will heading.
The point is, bitcoin can't jump from $10k to $20k without any indication. I mean There are some steps and indications that have to followed by bitcoin. no doubt bitcoin is going to pump in upcoming days but it would be so difficult for btc get twin of its current price. I think, bitcoin price could be raise $15k something at the end of 2020
Your prediction is more likely to happen compared on the said article but who knows Bitcoin was still unpredictable after all, there's a lot of things could might happen within this year.

I agreed on your prediction simply because I know that the market is now getting better perhaps due to our current situation but this not necessarily mean it will rise up in instant. But that that doesn't matter, what important is we should be always ready for any circumstances.
1874  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which type of trading you think is good? on: August 30, 2020, 10:58:33 AM
Perhaps, having both TA and event news might be better idea. This will minimize the risk exposure of your tradings. It is more likely, news will be the guide to specify what trend you must get into and while using your TA to make if more precise in order to minimize the risk as much as possible.
That is why I think having both of them will pretty much give you a safe trade.
1875  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Buy and Hold Really the Best Strategy in Crypto? on: August 29, 2020, 12:36:13 PM
Looking at the graph you shown Buy and Hold might be not good as much as you think of. I wouldn't say that it is the best strategy either because there are still risk along with it.
However, only one thing I can sure of, it depends on the coins you were trading of whether Buy and Hold will work in your favor or not.
Basically, there are tokens that are much better for day trading and the same goes for Buy and Hold thus you should fit your strategies on the coins you are working on.
1876  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will you do when Bitcoin reach$20k? on: August 29, 2020, 11:40:55 AM
$20k worth of Bitcoin is pretty much decent number I'd say there's a chance that I would sell a couple of it while the rest will still be kept. I still planning to accumulate more Bitcoins and hold it because I do believe that it will grow even more compared to that price. I once experience that $20k worth of Bitcoin and for me, it was a really big profit for me way back then it really fired me up and sell some of it. Learn to enjoy your earning sometimes.
1877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CAN WE STILL GET THE 2017 BULL IN THIS 2020? on: August 29, 2020, 05:46:38 AM
We have seen series of predictions in the last three months when bitcoin had its last halving. The prices kept rising until two weeks ago.
Now that the prices are falling again, when will the time like 2017 be experienced again in the cryptocurrencies community.
I'm pretty sure that we will experience "what Bitcoin feels like in 2017" once again and perhaps it could be greater than that.

Besides, I don't feel like prices are starting to fall again it is just a minor change, remember we only just in the 3rd quarter of the month there are still a couple of months left and that time frame could might something happened we never knew, Crypto is still unpredictable after all.
Moreover, I think crypto will even more surge because of a pandemic the fact that online payment is now being encouraged to prevent the escalation of the disease.
1878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: August 28, 2020, 11:54:42 AM
-snip
I doubt everyone still falls into this kind of scheme. Probably you were talking on those people who are new in crypto.
A person who have enough knowledge and well-experienced would likely have a low chance to fall in a scam that they already knew. Perhaps they might be fooled by a new kind of scheme but I doubt they will fall into the same trick.
I agreed that there's no such as thing as easy money unless you whereinto gambling but that was a high risk yet a low chance of you to win hence, make an effort to earn your desirable rewards.
1879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Patience above all will be rewarded here on: August 28, 2020, 11:19:22 AM
Rome wasn't built in a day, and Bitcoin won't take off to the moon right now. It will take a lot of improvement, a lot of new technology and a lot of hard work.

The people who buy in rallies and sell during bear markets and then don't believe in bitcoin anymore are clowns. If the price went to 25k in the next few months I guarantee it that the community will double maybe even quadruple in just a few days.

And then if it dropped back to 15k, suddenly most of these people will disappear again. They won't believe in bitrcoin and they will not care.

If you don't want your money to be created by bankers and the government at their whim the actual price of bitcoin is secondary. Bitcoin is a central part of the puzzle when it comes to the people getting back their sovereignty.

First of all, who would have to sell their Bitcoins at bear trend knowing what Bitcoin can do in a matter of time, they are not clowns instead they are totally dumb. Wasting the opportunity was the craziest thing to do.
There are times that Bitcoin wasn't that much profitable I know but that doesn't mean it is dead, just like you what have said patience is all matter to be getting rewarded. I've been in this industry for almost 3 years so I know what are the capabilities of Bitcoin that is why I put my trust and my future on it.
Bitcoin may stumble a few times but it can recover and be better in no time just have your patience.
1880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what new coins are promising? on: August 28, 2020, 05:42:06 AM
It seems most of the comment recommends DeFi projects and I don't saw anything wrong with that. In fact, I heard a lot of stories that they made an undeniably great reward out of it. However, this coins are pretty much good for hunters that are looking for temporary profit I'd say hence if you are looking for a coin that you can hold for such a long time then perhaps a token that has good volume and liquidity might be perfect for it. Try looking at Top coins in the market to lessen your risk exposure as well. DeFi tokens are indeed worth to invest I'm not gonna lie but I doubt that it will last long because some people will try to mess this up just like what they did in ICOs before.
