1001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In which token i invest? on: April 20, 2021, 02:51:37 PM
Hello friends i have around 200$ in Ethereum. I want to invest for getting some profit. Tell me about your experience. What tokens or coins are best for invest this time.

Staying in Ethereum would not really do the job for a higher profit and it might take a long time for something like an Ethereum market to have a decent profit.

I suggest investing in low cap token that has huge potential to maximize the profit around 5x-20x of a token, If I'm going to invest I would probably go invest in NFT's or NFT token in the market which is a good investment in my experience, something like CHZ and ENJ is where I put my 200$ especially because a lot of blockchain game is on development and already a thing these days.

Maybe you could also gamble in BNB because Binance Platform is just the best exchange in my opinion so its token has so much utility in it.

I don't see anything wrong in investing with ETH however just like what you have said it will take time for you to get a pretty decent amount of profit the only pros of doing this one is it is more certain giving a profit compared to random tokens in the market. Investing in NFTs or NFT tokens would really profitable however there's a higher chance you will lose your money as the risk exposure in this one is higher compared to investing in top-listed coins in the market. If you can take the risk then sure, however, make sure you should have to make proper research first before placing your money to mitigate the risk exposure.
1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10 Best Cryptocurrencies To Invest in for 2021 on: April 20, 2021, 01:17:32 PM
Cryptocurrency can be considered as the digital money. This year can be considered as the bull year that we are seeing ATH in every week almost. So, the best time is going on for crypto. The Yahoo Finance published an article named as like the headline of this topic. I am quoting a part of that article.

Quote
Top 10 Cryptocurrency Investments in 2021
Cryptocurrency Price as of March 29, 2021 Market Cap Bitcoin $57,566.38 $1.075 trillion Ethereum $1,811.82 $209.464 billion Binance Coin $273.38 $42.304 billion Tether $0.99 $40.632 billion Cardano $1.19 $38.188 billion Polkadot $33.74 $31.349 billion Ripple $0.56 $24.598 billion Litecoin $192.88 $13.038 billion Chainlink $28.06 $11.689 billion Stellar $0.41 $9.23 billion

Cryptocurrency is a trillion dollars market now and it is getting bigger day by day. So, if you are still waiting, just look at the market volume.

Yeah, I will a hundred percent agree that they are the best coin to invest within cryptocurrencies except on Tether of course because it is pegged to the US dollar. It will not make any sense if you invest in Tether because it won't grow as you have imagined perhaps using Tether might be good for liquidating your assets. Upon investing in crypto choosing on top listed coins would have a less chance of losing your money cause unlike choosing those random coins at the bottom they might be a gem but there's a chance they are not.
1003  Economy / Speculation / Re: Institutional buyers are not backing down. More Pump? on: April 20, 2021, 12:11:45 PM
==
Except we didn't follow the last 2017 bull and bear that caused real panic to hodlers and they dumped more in losses while price kept fallin. At the moment bitcoin touched $64k and down to $54k, that can't be called a bear, is just an 11% which can't be compared to bitcoin bull move. IMO it is still in bull and when hodlers dump, it takes another dive after a while. So we may see $70,000 on any further bull.
People who involve in bitcoin from 2013-2019 will know the moment that happens in 2017. Many of us panic to see the dumped happen in 2017-2018, and in the next year, the price slowly gets down and makes many people leave the crypto for a while.  The downtrend that happens to bitcoin slowly changes this year and the price can back to increase and even recorded a new ATH this year. So this downtrend is just another moment for people to buy bitcoin at a low price than yesterday. If you want to use this moment, you can start to buy or wait for more to see the other lower price.

I agree that the 2017/2018 incident made many investors fear that the same thing will happen again this year. Even though this year is clearly
very different in my opinion, apart from many institutions that have started buying Bitcoin. Bitcoin has also begun to be trusted as a payment,
not a few merchants are starting to accept Bitcoin as payment right now. This is positive news that makes the demand for Bitcoin even higher,
then the correction that is happening now is indeed the right time to buy Bitcoin again. I believe Bitcoin will recover soon, so stay patient HODL
Bitcoin that we have. Or we can buy Bitcoin at the current price, before the price goes up again.

It is good to think that the image of Bitcoin improves over the year from being hated now being supported by large institutions. As time goes by and every year will pass, along with it the massive adoption we've all been waiting for will eventually gonna happen. If more institutions will come over crypto this will be a reason for other counties to lift the ban against crypto, especially in Bitcoin. This will increase the demand for Bitcoin and will cause a positive impact on the price.  It may be under correction right now but this is one of the best opportunities to buy cheaper coins for use to maximize our profit.
1004  Economy / Economics / Re: How is it supposed to be alt coin season after bitcoin falls? on: April 20, 2021, 11:39:16 AM
I hear everyone talking about how it's going to be alt coin season when bitcoin season is over. But how? Whenever bitcoin falls, for some whack reason alt coins follow suit. Even those coins whos projects have nothing to do with bitcoin like Vechain.

No, it doesn't work like that perhaps they are talking about Bitcoin dominance because as Btc dominance decrease the number of people investing in altcoins is increasing but if Bitcoin dumps no Altcoins gonna happen. Based on what I have observed in this market as Bitcoin dump it most of the altcoins tend to be drag down as well.

Quote
I really feel like we've hit the market cycle top earlier than expected tbh

There's a chance but there is also a chance that it isn't. I don't think institutions are done accumulating especially now that  Bitcoin undergoes a correction so that means time to buy cheap tokens.
1005  Economy / Speculation / Re: Game over to Bitcoin Time to sell all on: April 20, 2021, 10:52:43 AM
Bitcoin has a massive crash and it's going to be down and down.
We enter a bear market. dark time for btc.

Well, I'm not totally certain if the bear market has already begun but a little correction just like we have now doesn't mean it will continue to go down. Remember Bitcoin recently break the resistance and set a new ATH of course expect that there will be few people who will make a profit and goes for correction. And we know that correction is healthy for the market for it to reach even higher. We've only been sitting on $55k yet you think this will be the start of the bear market, seems you have weak hands or perhaps you just want to create FUD unfortunately, none of them fall for it.
1006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not panic sell when there is dump on: April 19, 2021, 02:56:54 PM
Sometimes when a coin pumps hard and starts to dump, novice will panic sell due to fear or other reasons, while the whales will buy up the dump and mop it all and then pump it even harder.... So don't always panic sell, be in control of your emotions, although it isn't easy, but with practice you will perfect and master it.......Every new trade is a journey and a new destination...... Always dyor

What do you think about this circumstance ? am i overthinking this ? share your views.

Well, it is easier to say than to be done. I mean when circumstance like this appears in front of our face like showing a huge dump you will definitely have a second thought of selling your coins in which a total response but just like you what you have been said practice you would be the key, as you encounter a lot of this kind of situation you will eventually learn to control your emotion. But yeah I think that is what you supposed to do, to not panic when these circumstances appear like in this current correction. Do in mind as well, that make an analysis for yourself so you could plan your next move when this happens.
1007  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin almost made me rich on: April 19, 2021, 01:03:22 PM
~

I read your story and it was really unfortunate. You could become a millionaire right now but you commit a mistake which is investing with a lack of knowledge that leads you to invest in Ponzi and losing half of your earnings while the other one is not saving your private keys. It is not bad to take a break from crypto since it was undeniably stressful sometimes but don't forget to save your private keys cause' it is the only way to access them. Just like you, I enter the crypto space in the year 2017 and I also used a blockchain wallet, I could be a millionaire right now as well but the mistake I did was to keep spending all the Bitcoin I got. I should have held it. Anyway, it is already done we should move on now and take it as a lesson. It is never too late to make an entry anyway so start up once again and never swayed by your past mistakes.
1008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: April 19, 2021, 11:50:18 AM
That is why if someone gambles using borrowed money, of course they will not concentrate on playing because they think of two things between being able to win the game to get a profit from it and thinking that they should be able to return the money.  they will play greedily when they have few victories and will never be satisfied.  Especially if someone does not have a job and makes gambling a source of income to be able to earn money, of course that is a very wrong mindset, because most people gamble just to find fun and try their luck

Gambling can indeed promise some people luck
but with the wrong mindset can certainly make things worse.

I find it quite alarming to use borrowed money for gambling. The only way that should be done would be if we can be a 100% certain of winning. If that's not the case than the risks of losing the money is just too high for me. If the loan is small it could work but if we have no real way to repay the loan than we are screwed. Losing borrowed money means we lost the money twice. First we lost all our gambling money and secondly we still have to repay the loan. This could hurt us for years and years to come.

That is the reason why you shouldn't take a long just to fulfill your desire like to play gambling and this can also be applicable in investment, don't take a loan upon your investment regardless of the percentage of winning. First of all, you never know what's gonna happen even if the odds of winning are higher than the loss you should not still take the risk because there's a chance you might lose it and that would only double up your debt. If you will take a loan just for investment perhaps I might consider it but for gambling, no it won't happen. You'll just be putting yourself in a worse position.
1009  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never go below $50,000 again on: April 19, 2021, 11:11:55 AM
Well we cannot really say that the bitcoin will never go back below 50k$ because after a big pump i am sure that big dip will also come, maybe not this year but there will also a dip and i will wait for that dip to buy and hold, for now i will prefer to some altcoin good altcoin will surely rise this is bullish season so there are always a great posibility that alt season will start.

There's no one really can tell on what will be the next move of Bitcoin if it is going to break the ATH or going for a dip and as for predicting the price. It seems OP was very optimistic regards on Bitcoin price which there's nothing wrong actually however, you should know everything has a limit, Bitcoin will not always in a bull run and will increase forever. There will be dumps no matter what happened, as a matter of fact, we had a correction recently and it almost drops to $50k, imagine if Bitcoin enters the bear market it will definitely fall beyond $50k.
1010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: April 19, 2021, 10:19:03 AM
Hi guys ! My name’s Dave.
ข่าวกีฬา
Is it possible to do money laundering via bitcoin? I mean as no one knows if you have bitcoin and how much bitcoin do you actually own, it could be used to convert black money to white right? Or at least store your black money without much hassle. But there is the risk of its value but I think for people who have lots of black money and don't want to be caught, this risk might be worth taking for them isn't it?
What are your thoughts?

It is possible especially because of the characteristic does Bitcoin has which is decentralization. It would be a lot difficult for authorities to monitor or track this kind of activity unless you will undergo KYC in some exchanges or something. However, I wouldn't recommend this such activity as it destroys images of crypto especially Bitcoin that is why several governments across the world are having a thought of accepting it or legalize the use of Bitcoin.
1011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin I should investmen with 5k dollars? on: April 18, 2021, 02:31:10 PM
Hi guy,

I have 5k dollars, you think i should investment any altcoin.

Do you think about UNISWAP? i see it have a top rank in DEFI.

Thanks you.

Why investing in DeFi when there's Bitcoin and Ethereum to invest. With that capital, it is enough to diversify your portfolio with a few tokens and of course, Bitcoin will have the largest portion. Bitcoin because it is more certain compared to any other altcoins which are also less risky. Now that the market was slightly down it is the best opportunity to purchase some coins because they were cheaper. I wouldn't say DeFi is not worthy of investment it is just more volatile than Bitcoin which means higher risk to take but if you think you can handle it then why not it could be profitable as well. Just remember that scrutinize every each one of the coins before you place your investment for you to mitigate the risk of losing your money.
1012  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do I invest in cryptocurrency or coinbase COIN on: April 18, 2021, 01:19:54 PM
Is investing in cryptocurrency is good idea or COIN ,

https://talkoncrypto.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=35

Why not have both instead. Investing in Cryptocurrencies can be profitable but make sure you are choosing the right crypto, as much as possible scrutinize every each one of them before placing your investment. Now Coinbase Coin, to be honest, I have no idea about it yet but I just research it recently. I'd say it is worth trying though the outcome will be hard to tell, if it became successful it would be certainly rewarding, yes high risk to take but as they said the higher the risk the more profit it has.
1013  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low could the next bear market move bitcoin? on: April 18, 2021, 12:15:11 PM
I think we're reaching the peak soon. So I was wondering, how much do you think we could get down to?

Any chance of bitcoin going below 10,000 USD? I really doubt it. I'm thinking maybe it might go below 20k but that's a maybe and only if bitcoin only goes up to maybe 80 at the peak of this bull market here soon. I know a lot of people think bitcoin will go to 300,000 or even a million but I really doubt that. I can see 80,000 and 100k for maybe a week or so but hopefully I'm wrong. I'm gonna buy more bitcoin here soon and grit my teeth if we start going down sooner than later. I'm saving a bit of cash, only half of what I'd normally spend, to buy during the bear market when it's doom and gloom and people thinking bitcoin is over or "when it comes out... ZERO" Idk if anyone gets that reference lol but yeah.

What do you guys think?

Good thing that you have a plan like saving up some cash in case Bitcoin enters the bear market cause' that way you will maximize your profit. Regarding the price when we enter bear, I don't think Bitcoin will go down as $10k as well perhaps it would play between $20k-$30k something unless big hodlers sell off the majority of their stash that would really hit hard the price. Reaching $300k to a million is possible however not on this year though it would take several years and halving for it to happen, the highest price I can only think that is possible to happen this year is $100k or less. There's no indication yet that the market is going on a bear, as a matter of fact, everyone expects that this bull will run much longer so take all the Bitcoin as you can especially now that we're in a little bit of correction.
1014  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing only for the rich? Think again on: April 18, 2021, 11:09:52 AM
investment is not for the 'rich' but more precisely 'for the brave'...
Imagine you have millions of dollars but are afraid of losing money when investing, so until whenever you will not be willing to invest your money. warren buffet is an example of a 'poor person' who is not afraid to invest, he started investing since he was a teenager and continues to do so even though he is old.

but, if you poor, you cant invest any piece because you must fill what you need first. and teenager in every country have different mean, how to invest thing if you dont have what it takes

I partly agree with your statement because you will not prioritize this investment over to your necessities, however, even if they are poor they have a capability to save their excess money and that would be enough to place it in an investment. Therefore, investment is for everyone and not limited to any users whether you are poor or rich. You don't actually need to put in a large investment at once, you can start with a small amount of dime, have patience, and let it grow over time.
1015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk stop messing up the crypto market on: April 18, 2021, 10:14:25 AM
Am I the only one who finds his tweets and market manipulation annoying?

A lot of newbies falling into the trap unfortunately. BTC is strong and won't be affected too much but Dogecoin is just increasing its pump and dump reputation. Sad.

Well, we can't blame him because as investors with a lot of followers he is just doing what he needs to do and that is to make a profit. However, of course, those people who can be easily tricked are the ones that are in disadvantages as they losing a sum of their money. Hype in this market is nothing new, that is why for you to cope with trend just ride with it but make sure to know your limits because once they made an exit everything will fall. Being aware and smart are the prerequisites in this kind of market. This hype is proof that the crypto market can be manipulated in some sort.
1016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Give reasons why ETH is better than BSC on: April 17, 2021, 03:50:49 PM
I believe that ETH will reclaim it's glory back once gas fee issue is solved, there is also a big difference between BSC and ETH that will still make many prefers ETH, that's the fact that BSC is Centralized and ETH isn't.
Definitely will bring a positive impact for ETH once they fix that transactional fee issue, however, in spite of having high fees ETH still remained behind Bitcoin, and this only implies that ETH has still numerous of supporters. BSC network, on the other hand, is now showing a good performance, having cheaper transaction fees attract more users making them successful. Regardless, these two networks cannot be comparable as they have a lot of differences like ETH is decentralized while BSC network is centralized.
1017  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why you don't need to HODL or trade Bitcoin on: April 17, 2021, 03:10:44 PM
why we will believe you when some of you said are not true and clearly you want eth and top altcoins for people to invest and not in bitcoin but even if  we will explain here the advantage of btc and the disadvantage of eth and altcoins  you wont still believe us but no worries because people here are nice .
we do have eth and top altcoins in our portfolio because this makes us earn earn aside from btc . hope this makes you happy

Yeah let's just leave him there we all have different preferences upon choosing where to invest. Some folks find it more profitable in Bitcoin, some find it more profitable in altcoins, and some are both preferred to invest in both of them. We don't need to insist our idea onto someone because they have their own. Each and every coins whether it is Bitcoin or Ethereum they have their own advantages, disadvantage, therefore, they couldn't be compared as they also have a different use case. Personally, I find it more profitable and safe if I will hold not only a single token, specifically Bitcoin and ETH.
1018  Economy / Speculation / Re: OK my apology Bitcoin is not a PONZI but I still call it a huge bubble on: April 17, 2021, 01:35:25 PM

but at over 64K a piece

how much money do you willing to spare to buy bitcoin?
You don't actually need to have 1 Bitcoin because having a small fraction of it will do, it could still be profitable as you hold it for a longer time. Upon buying Bitcoin do bear in mind that you should only invest the money that you can afford to lose, you don't need to all in because that would pretty much risk to take. A lot of newcomers overwhelmed with the current price of Bitcoin leading them to skip entering but they didn't know that Bitcoin could even grow more than that as a matter of fact it is expected to have at least 6 digits before this year ends and that is the opportunity they shouldn't miss.
1019  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the government hijack Bitcoin? on: April 17, 2021, 12:05:58 PM

if Bitcoin comes to be number one currency in the world today, can it  be hijack by the government?

I think is number one already, anyway if the government can hijack Bitcoin then they've already done it because they won't let any currency runs without them holding it or any control over it.
Government can ban or take charges on some exchanges but it would not enough to manipulate Bitcoin because there are many ways to transact with everyone like peer-to-peer. They can interfere with transactions though but it would take a lot of effort to do so like terminating internet access which is impossible to pull off. Besides, there's been a lot of institutions and countries who already accept it so it would be a huge consequences if they try to hijack it.
1020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have $150,000 US dollars and my target is a 10x gain. Stop me going all in now on: April 17, 2021, 10:45:15 AM

1.  Starting today on April 10, 2021 if I invested 150k in bitcoin, how much do the gurus expect me to have in 1, 2, 5, and 10 years?  Like would any idiot who just invested today and didn't sell expect a 5x increase within the next 10 years?
Can't exactly tell since crypto is still unpredictable so there are a lot of things that could happen within those 10 years. However, if Bitcoin would perform well within that timeframe then I could say that it is more than enough. 5x increase is possible in fact it could be even more than that.
Quote
2.  I would use dollar cost averaging, but over what time horizon?  Invest 150k over the next six months?  Or just invest it all today since we all know it's going up?
Doesn't matter that much since you will hold it out for too long but it is recommended if you will buy at a cheap price to maximize your profit. Watch the market if there will be any dips and then that is the perfect time to buy.
Quote
3.  I could withdraw the old retirement fund and get the initial investment up to 300k.  Would you go all in using that?  I would not have much of a backup plan for retirement if this is the case, but like I said I have a high risk profile.  I do believe this is once in a lifetime.
If you can afford to lose all of them then no one will stop you however, you must face the consequences because crypto is still risky after all even if you investing in Bitcoin. Personally, I would not get that far so I wouldn't recommend it for you to place it all.
Quote
4. If I want to pursue some alt coins, and again, I have a high risk profile, what % mix would you recommend?  33% alt-coins and 66% bitcoin, or 50-50, etc?
Yeah sounds good since you have a huge capital diversifying it would be a good option to mitigate the risk, however, you must consider the altcoins you are going to choose, as much as possible get those coins top listed ones. I think the 60:40 or 70:30 ratio will be enough and the large portion must be in Bitcoin of course.
