Hi what's left of the Korecoin Community!
 

Apologies for not being able to post recently.
Much much going on with my business. I had moved it but can't get a CO where I moved my main equipment, so have been busy setting up a temp shop to keep things going. The town is making things a bit difficult and very expensive for me. I don't have any funds right now...
Hardly been sleeping last few weeks but glad I can finally get back to work after a few months.
Which means I will be super busy the next few months trying to catch up.
Does not mean we have not been very active on Korecoin.
We have been in meetings near a few times a day at all hours and sometimes for hours at a time.
It's a rarity we miss a day and if so it's mainly over the weekends.

Thanks DFiLeR for keeping an eye on the thread.
 

A down payment had been sent to the Coder a few weeks ago.
We had spent about 2-3 weeks going back and forth trying to make the right decisions for Korecoin and the Community.
Thanks for your patience and continued support!
The Coder has begun work on the Wallet.
For the amount of work and difficulty I presume it may take up to a few months for the first release.

Support the Korecoin Network and Stake Some Coins!!!
IF the blockchain "gets stuck" we are going to be in a world of hurt.
Please also support trading on Bittrex daily!
Korecoin without a major exchange is no korecoin at all...

The Kore Team desires Viorcoin be the real entity it was meant/well maybe not meant to be but stated it was to be by the old dev.
When Korecoin has it's wallet work done we will concentrate on Viorcoin.

BC and I have been trying to get a meeting to work on some business plan details but he seems not to have much time the last few weeks and to be straight up with you neither have I but I will make the time if BC does have an opening.

There was 1.55744 BTC in the donation address already and 0.18472075 BTC in the old Escrow address which I donated for a total of 1.68236075 BTC minus 1.2503BTC Down Payment for the Wallet Work. Leaving an available balance of: .43206075BTC
Leaving a required balance due of (1.291 - 2.022 BTC)
FYI- The total due will be more than 2BTC since more work is being done than originally planned.
The Coder has begun the work on the wallet.
 
Let's try to get the balance of 2BTC soon as we could just in case.
We need to come up with the balance for the coder hand over his work...

I am going out on a limb by saying it may take up to a few months to complete the work
since they are doing more work than anticipated.

Best to just trade normally. Without news and releases spikes in volume could
damage the reputation of Korecoin.

The new release should solve that issue.
In the meantime we need over 20 stakers for the wallet to work with minimal delays.
Looks like a block just went thru so you should get some confirmations.

For us to move forward Viorcoin needs to be kept alive and on Bittrex.
Do your thing!
 

If the holders of Viorcoin want to see the coin survive We are going to have to work on trading
on Bittrex Daily.

I'm having a meeting with Bitcoin Carpenter Saturday evening.
If you want the Kore Team to lend what we can to this project
the Viorcoin Community will be required to take the responsibility
of trading daily on Bittrex. Start asap.

We've got to do more, much more work on the Korecoin Volume on Trex.

It'd be a real shame to come this far in all our work only to lose the coin.

My points remain the same:
1-Much focus on talking etc about other exchanges but not much action
trying to keep Bittrex which is how we almost lost korecoin forever...
First the Community needs to handle the responsibility of Bittrex.
(I would say "focus on Bittrex" but that does not denote the seriousness of the situation)
2-Korecoin has suffered from "runaway dev syndrome" so other exchanges
may be wary till Korecoin is actually taken over with a new wallet and thread.
3-They Review the "Source Code" and if they see it's a mess which it was
they don't want to jeopardize their exchange or reputation.
4-It's much better (and possibly easier) to get Korecoin listed on other exchanges
once we have the release of the new wallet, features, thread and OP page with
the natural uptick in interest rather than everyone from the exchange seeing it listed
as a dead coin in a mess with little or no trades. This may do more harm than good.

Korecoin needs daily volume and if we don't get it, it's done.
Sorry for the frankness but the circumstances calls for it.
There is talk on the thread about other exchanges and features.
It's ironic not much is being done for this pressing need that
could end up killing Korecoin.

Geeez!, Sorry to hear.
Hope it gets resolved soon.

If the Community has trouble keeping a normal amount of trades on Bittrex
how is it you expect to keep track of 2,3 or 4 exchanges volumes?
Once the new wallet is out we will be looking for more exchanges.
If you get Korecoin listed on any other exchange make sure you also take full responsibility to keep it listed there because IF Korecoin gets delisted before the new wallet is released I doubt they will list it again soon.
It could end up doing more damage than good.
Concentrate on Bittrex Volume as it's not well.
If the other exchanges were interested in listing Korecoin they would have the few times
I contacted them. Korecoin is dead in the state it's in and until they see the takeover
you may have a very difficult time and could leave a bad taste in their mouths by hounding them.
We are concentrating on the TOR for now. The VoIP will be put back in the next release or two after the takeover release.
There's also a serious need for people to stake some coins. If you have any friends that could stake send them a few coins.
