1881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first pizza purchase using Bitcoin in lightning network on: February 25, 2023, 04:13:44 PM
I love pizza, and it looks delicious pizza!! 😋😋

I have never bought pizza using the bitcoin lightning network because no one in my area has provided this payment yet, even though there is, for example, using an on-chain network, I will definitely buy it but still it doesn't exist because it is still illegal because every payment is not allowed with bitcoin except fiats.

I hope someone finds this out later because anyway I want to keep trying to buy Pizza with bitcoin payments on lightning network.
1882  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Little but expensive mistakes beginners make. on: February 24, 2023, 06:30:26 PM
Point 1 is it a beginner's mistake to post without quoting? Then it is different from other points categories. LOL

Indeed beginners will definitely make a lot of mistakes including their emotions and also their lack of experience, but in my opinion that's normal because beginners if they have been doing things for a long time and have the same nature, then it's not natural to mean they don't go into what happened with previous mistakes.

Actually a lot of mistakes happened, but let it be an experience and should not be repeated if it becomes fatal.
1883  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: People mindset in Bitcoin on: February 24, 2023, 05:20:04 PM
Some people may differ in some of their views, for example bitcoin is an alternative for future payment instruments by fighting fiat which is inflation or they have views about getting rich from bitcoin investments. I think every individual has a way with their pattern to treat bitcoin as he pleases, including the average is the wishing rich on long-term investments.

But bitcoin is the right way to make money in a short time, this is not a shitcoin that can be pumped 100x times and then thrown away, because the process of increasing bitcoin is long and there is always a history that we see and it is not easy to invest in bitcoin there is still a big risk in it due to high volatility.
1884  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: February 24, 2023, 04:25:49 PM
We can never know if the BTC price might dip below $20k (or even below $16k/$17k) again.  For sure, there can appear to be similarities, and if some of us did not buy when the BTC price was below $20k many times and for extended periods of time in the last 6-7 months of 2022, we might have had lost our opportunties to buy below $20k.. but then again.. none of us know... so we just have to do our best in terms of making sure that we are sufficiently prepare and we buy on dips and do not get to greedy.. and also, if we are not even sure if it is going to dip more, then just buy here and attempt to allocate how much we buy so that we are prepared in case it dips more but also to be sufficiently satisfied that we got enough and that we have done as good as we can expect to do (given our certain level of ignorance and not really knowing with any confidence) if the BTC price does not dip anymore.
It means that I have taken advantage of the opportunity where in 2022 when the price was below $ 20k I continued to do my best to buy BTC because no one knows when the opportunity will come again so the way I did it was quite effective where I now have bitcoins in stock this feeling has started to grow for the accumulation that has been built so far, even though now the price is above $23K I think it is still good enough to buy regularly because I have made sure and am ready not to be greedy in the sense of buying bitcoin with all the money I have of course not in that way, there is a side where when you get money then there is a part to buy BTC.

Some people might have an overall investment portfolio in which they believe that 1% to 5% allocation to bitcoin is sufficient, and others might conclude that 5% to 15% is sufficient, others might consider 15% to 25% as sufficiently allocated to bitcoin.  And surely I am largely OK that newbies to bitcoin might determine anything between 1% and 25% as their target allocation, but I am even more accepting of the idea that individuals figure out their own situations sufficiently in order to know if some kind of target within 1% to 25% towards bitcoin is sufficiently aggressive and assertive or if some other allocation might be more fitting to their own psychological and financial circumstances....
Maybe beginners need from the initial 1% to 5% for their portfolio in bitcoin they initially try and after there is a reaction where beginners know the potential in BTC better then they will definitely increase their portfolio.
Unlike me who can be said to have known bitcoin for a long time I have to have an individual principle with 50% and above as my portfolio in BTC and some diversification in several other assets as a reserve to be more stable again, I will not be aggressive in this matter because I know my financial cash flow is not that big coming in but at least with a little bit of a hill it would be better than an aggressive word but pressing us to get into all of BTC, I need to manage according to my financial management.

One of the reasons that DCA buying into BTC works, so well is that any of us can employ some kind of DCA strategy into bitcoin and including following such a DCA strategy for a decently long time while we also try to research into and to figure out our own circumstances in such a way that we are psychologically and financially comfortable.. which is not an easy process, wether you are new to bitcoin, new to investing or even if you have been in bitcoin and/or investing for a decently long period of time.. sometimes, it can take some time to figure out the extent to which an y of us is psychologically and financially comfortable and even tweak our systems based on our ongoing learning about bitcoin and learning about ourselves.
Yeah DCA is the best way to accumulate BTC for a long time and be able to manage our finances regarding the income generated, and more clearly this will be more comfortable if we can't afford a week then we can do it monthly or even every two months depending on what we want but I think a lot people do it on a monthly basis where they after receiving a salary at the end of the month.

Psychologically it must be maintained and financially it must be stable to continue to measure inputs and expenses, all of which must be managed properly and find out where the weak points are if you are unable to influence it.
1885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 24, 2023, 03:53:29 PM

Fulham is a bit superior maybe because has experienced their performance and host factor. Fulham was able to beat Brighton on their home which is quite difficult to conquer especially a strong team like Liverpool. While Wolves, they seem like lost confidence after got shamed by Bournemouth in home. I believe fulham might not a problem to beat Wolves 2-0 tomorrow.
Now the odds have increased to @2.50 for Fulham.
It can be said that Fulham is now quite good, still in the 6th EPL standings, while playing at home with quite high odds, this gives an opportunity to those who bet on Fulham and I don't think Wolves is any better than now, but I believe Fulham can beat the opponent again in own cage.

Of course the game will lean more towards Fulham that's my prediction where in this match, I don't know how Wolves will come back but I don't think it will be able to against Fulham.

1887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 22, 2023, 01:45:13 PM
Napoli are a real UCL title contender this year as Serie A title looks already locked in!
It's true that Napoli is a UCL challenger club this season, not only in Serie A in the champions league, they have proven it with wins away from home.
Of course later playing at home will be more confident where they can appear more impressive to win in the second leg.
Victor Osimhen is a hero for Napoli for scoring goals.

But what is happening with Liverpool ? I mean they had a clear advantage and again , Real proves again that they can't be count out from a game no matter what is the score.
Damn I thought Liverpool could defend it after they won 2-0 over a mistake by goalkeeper Rela Madrid Courtois it turned out that the Liverpool goalkeeper also made a blunder by Allison which made Real Madrid easily provoked by them and in the end it was true with a score of 2-5 which we didn't expect That.
What I analyzed was Liverpool's midfield and back line looking weak so when they got a counter attack from Liverpool they couldn't prevent it.

Tonight , I'm not so sure about Inter and how they will perform as Porto are on a roll lately and even Juventus stood no chance against them.
I believe Inter Milan can win with Porto, they can also be seen from the league, they have shown good performance so far.
1888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how do I keep my private key safe? on: February 22, 2023, 01:22:32 PM
It's not a good suggestion from your friends keep the private key in gmail mail however it is high risk with hacking of the gmail, so if you keep the key private then it's not a good guarantee unless you save it offline or save it in a different book kept in a safe place.

I don't save online for the seed phrases and all of it is put on a piece of paper which I carefully guard when storing it as well so this will be a secret place where I keep this item with the seed phrase written on it.

I hope you don't really believe your friend's suggestion to save online, but here is anyway the best advice for you to keep your private key safe.
1889  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is your profit taking strategy? on: February 22, 2023, 10:18:36 AM
If the altcoin is invested but already has a profit of 2x or more than that then I will take the capital while the profit will be processed again on another altcoin with a short-term duration to take the same profit faster even though it only gets 2x as long as I trade altcoins.

But unlike bitcoin it has to be long term for me because the prospects will be different from altcoins so I believe in investing in bitcoin as a long term or even myself after getting profits from altcoins then moving to bitcoin then it will be much better.

While there are opportunities in altcoins, make good use of them, the most important thing is don't be greedy because that will get you stuck in a downturn.
1890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is ok to sell your Bitcoin. on: February 22, 2023, 09:28:03 AM
Exactly, the owner of am asset should know when it's okay for them to sell that asset and I'm aware that some certain factors might force some persons to sell when they never wanted to sell. If you can continue to hold for the next twenty to thirty years to come without touching any of your Bitcoin that is to your advantage while if you know you can't stand the idea of hodling for that long then you can sell as you please no one is going to caution or mock you for selling quick.
I know that we have seen so many people who after selling off their holdings began regretting it because the price rose while others were happy because the price dropped.
That factor is because there is no other way but to sell bitcoin at a low price, while for emergency funds he doesn't hold it, he is forced to sell, even though he doesn't want to sell, moreover the only way is in this way, so it is clear that many have experienced it when they are under economic pressure.

As for those who have been holders for decades, they are the winners in terms of big profits, of course, it won't be easy, we have to go through the bullish phase, but we have to be strong not to sell it, sometimes we are itching to sell it at the peak of the bitcoin price.
But it really comes back to the individual, of course, they are the ones who decide whether to sell or hold it.

I don't know when to sell but I think it has exceeded the previous ATH so it's worth selling because I have made a big profit, on the other hand, I want to set aside bitcoin for a long time too.

1892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 21, 2023, 06:20:47 PM
The match will be played at Anfield, the home stadium of Liverpool.  The ardent Liverpool fans will work hard to support them.  Although Real Madrid seems to be in better form than Liverpool at the moment, maybe we should think that there is always a chance for Liverpool.  The atmosphere of this match will be very important.  The second game will be on March 15 and if they want an advantage in that game, they should win this game.
From the analysis I've read, I think Real Madrid will lose the away game against Liverpool. I don't think it's completely wrong because basically Real Madrid has had some problems in defense this season. They are also not very good in midfield especially when Kross is not playing, and this is something Liverpool can count on.

Both teams are equally good in their respective league matches especially in their last two match. They did not concede a single goal in the last 2 matches and both won those match for 6 points. It will be exciting to see how Liverpool will deal with the defending champions' resistance, and it will be spectacular if Liverpool manage to secure their home with a win.
We can see from the side that Real Madrid is lacking at the moment and indeed it is reported that Toni Kross will be absent in this match, of course, with the absence of players, at least there will be an influence on Real Madrid's game, but what is clear is that Liverpool are in a recovery situation for the next victory, including now also at Anfield.

I can't wait to see who will win tonight, whether the result will be a draw or one of them will lose, we are looking forward to this fierce match.
On the other hand, many people also like Real Madrid because they always win against Liverpool, but this time I can see that Liverpool's odds are lower than Real Madrid, which above @3.15 is quite high too.
1893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want to surprise a friend on: February 21, 2023, 05:00:11 PM
Who knows bitcoin of course, if he was rewarded on his birthday with bitcoin, he would be very happy, but it didn't come to me.
I think this thread is irrelevant. You claim to generously want to gift your friend 0.03BTC. Go ahead and do it. You really don’t need to be nudged on by forum members if you truly want to do it.
You mentioned he likes and is also interested in bitcoin. If he likes and is interested in bitcoin, then perhaps you need more than forum members to convince you that it’s a great gift for your friend.
As a previous thread already exists about gifting someone with bitcoins see link above, no matter how big the gift is it doesn't matter if you can see other people can also afford a luxury car gift for someone's birthday but asking the forums sure has lots of opinions and it's clear they like this idea, it's just that maybe the OP wanted to show off that he would reward a friend 0.03 BTC.

Would I love to accept bitcoin as a birthday gift?
I would assume that about 90% of members registered on this forum either likes, has, hoping to have or is interested in bitcoin. So I would say your question is redundant.
Whatever the gift is, if it's valuable, someone will definitely be happy, especially in the form of bitcoin, maybe it can be invested or cashed into fiat, and I think all people are literate about bitcoin, so the gift will be worth receiving.

I love to come back new casino on the forums.

I have signed up and explored several parts of this platform to be honest I like the design of the website it gives an even more elegant atmosphere with a black background and there is already a sportsbook bet which is of course my own favorite.

I am glad to see that this casino will be running a signature campaign as a promotion on the forum, not only that I am also waiting for your offer regarding the testing of the prizes to be credited of course waiting for a separate thread. Cheesy
1895  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 on: February 21, 2023, 03:19:47 PM
Just want to give a good news where the recent accusations has been resolved based on the victim's post Owl.games confiscated 0.1 BTC for rediculous reason --> RESOLVED , but since I don't using this site since they locked their thread, I have no idea about their current reputation.

The representative don't brother to give any reply to the accusations and lock their official thread, I don't think that's a good sign to trust them when there are a lot reputable casinos existed in this forum.
I saw about the accusations being resolved and OWL.games has refunded 0.1BTC customer winnings but still this is in question about their reputation if they have locked the thread what if this happens again its hard to reach them even though there is support or live chat there.

In essence, we have to be careful even if they have solved the problem but if the thread is locked it means the forum representative will disappear unless he returns with a new idea of his strategy.
1896  Economy / Economics / Re: Are people really having the wrong concept of savings? on: February 20, 2023, 02:27:19 PM
Actually, there are many winning concepts in terms of what we want, for example, achieving certain goals where our wishes can be granted by saving.

My concept of saving is: Emergency funds, Investments, insurance, buying expensive things, Reserve funds for future children, and with a savings fund we can buy whatever we want if we have a lot of savings.

I'm not worried if they already have savings because this is one of their goals in life, of course with this they can do anything after continuing to get funds from savings.

Savings must be planned.
1897  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 on: February 20, 2023, 01:22:57 PM
The owl games have been running for a long time, and their signature campaign has also been running for a long time, and their ANN thread section has locked threads so that they can improve their strategies in crypto gambling.

I hope that the new strategy that they will do will be good so that the support of gamblers who often gamble on their platform will double even more.

The site has left a final message to rework their strategy and certainly one could say that means the platform is just looking to improve better than we don't know if they will come back or not let alone locking threads.
Usually, casinos on forums always ask for advice and also update their strategy here so that many people know about it, especially for gamblers, so their reason for leaving this message is that they think they won't come back again, especially with unresolved accusations on the forum.

See what @holydarkness did to ask about the allegations but all access has been blocked so it's hard for them to just ask it so it's hard to trust their platform again.
1898  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: do not invest in crypto from loans. on: February 20, 2023, 12:53:43 PM
To be honest I prefer to invest in bitcoin, not in crypto.

so in my opinion, don't invest from borrowed money because there will be potential losses, what do you think, do you agree with me?
If you are not someone who likes to borrow money and will be very different from people who often do it and it is true that investing using borrowed money will bring you to the stage of risk. In addition, fluctuations in the price of bitcoin and the debt repayment period of monthly deposits will lead you to a new stage of trouble, especially when there is no reserve money to cover monthly deposits. It is better to avoid borrowing money to make investments, if you and anyone else don't want to get into trouble, especially for beginners who are new to bitcoin.

Note: Every investment must have a level of risk, this is not only because you take out a loan, but because of fluctuations in the price of bitcoin.
We already know some of the advice that is so embedded in their words with borrowed money for bitcoin investment actually it's not the right way I can imagine how this happened and of course, the price of bitcoin is easy to go up and down and not so fast to go up to return profits because all of that is not does anyone know then it's better to have cold money to bet on bitcoin it won't be a problem next but we just have to be patiently waiting for the bitcoin price to be really high again.

The risk level of the loan is high and we have to understand that monthly installments have to be added plus interest. Of course, it's true that you said you have to have spare money to cover all monthly payments, but I'm not too brave to take this risk because I don't want to be a burden or there will be big problems later, especially if there is no good financial management.
1899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 20, 2023, 05:31:57 AM
Marcus Rashford has greatly improved in appearance since the World Cup but Haaland leads as top scorer with a very large number so far Haaland has scored 26 goals while Rashford has 14, if want to be top scorer Rashford must always score goals in the rest of the matches but not sure he can catch Haaland or even Harry Kane, this season it will be Haaland's and next season Rashford has a chance if he keeps doing well and is a sharp striker.
He almost always scored a goal in every game, even before there were rumors about him moving to another club but Ten Hag was able to convince him that he was important for Manchester United and sure enough it is proven now that Marcus Rashford has made a big contribution to his team now he continues to add to his collection of goals on the EPL board and I think it will be able to approach Haaland if he continues his performances like this.

Liverpool's last two wins have been valuable capital for Jurgen Klopp to look forward to the rest of the season with hope.
Nunez, Gakpo and Salah have been able to give performances that make Klopp and the Anfield public feel that what was missing has started to return.
It was a win which was a good capital for Liverpool because they seemed to be getting back on track but unfortunately after Nunez was able to score he had to suffer an injury in his shoulder and I don't know if it will be worse or if it's just a little bit painful I endure he can appear again for Liverpool in the next game.
I also saw that Jota and Firmino were back in action against Newcastle which is definitely good news for Liverpool fans after they come back.
1900  Other / Archival / Re: Long-term Bitcoin accumulation continues on: February 20, 2023, 04:54:22 AM
-skip-
I tried with you at every payment for the signature campaign, it will not be sold but kept on hold until it can accumulate more because I believe it will be better than selling just a moment after the money can run out.
If you save in every payment then this is the same as DCA every week I myself is $60 and $240 per month is enough for me to save bitcoin as an additional accumulation and while for other data with bitcoin that I bought before it is also differentiated so that the two are should go well.
I'm doing exactly the same. Receiving regular payments from signature campaigns is no different than purchasing Bitcoin yourself. It's actually a great way to acquire Bitcoin if you're not willing to risk your own money. You could potentially sell the minute you receive your payment, but personally, I don't think it's worth it; holding is much more beneficial in the long-term. I'm a little away from my DCA, which is sitting at approximately $28.000 since two years ago when I started receiving signature campaign payments, which isn't too shabby. There's a decent profit margin to be made.
Indeed, this is exactly the same as risking your own money, it's just that what you do from a signature campaign as a side job that makes money can still be used with long-term investment, it's really extraordinary if you keep it up to 1 BTC, why not if maybe if the campaign continues right?

In fact, I will also continue to accumulate bitcoins in any way, including risking my own money that is put in bitcoins, if for example there is an additional trade, airdrop or signature campaign that is still running then I will take advantage of that profit to be included in bitcoins to be used hold on because it's one of the best where we hold on longer.
