1881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MOTO] Motocoin PROOF-of-PLAY [NEW BOT] Human Mineable -Play Game to Mine- 1yr+ on: November 08, 2016, 12:09:56 AM
Moto coin is doing much better. Both volume and price is up on cryptopia.
Easiest coin for me to mine. Some other coins I just dont ever find any blocked and even with pool mining it can take some time at least here I can mine something.
1882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Blackstar - Online Trading Card Coin - Yobit ICO - Session Packs on: November 07, 2016, 07:11:18 PM
Oh nice this is cool ! There was one other card game but I am not sure what happened to it. How do we know how much to buy for the ICO ?
How much do the cards cost ?
1883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Is there other services except signature campaign on: November 07, 2016, 07:02:50 PM
Have a look at Victoriouscoin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1584017.0
They have just begun the microjobs website section. They also have a PTC site and they are a pos coin with 38% interest per year.
They backed by these sites and seem good so far. You can stake the coins on poswallet.com as well.
1884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Debunking popular myths about Bitcoin on: November 07, 2016, 06:58:50 PM
Wouldn't most of the myths be like it would for anything else ? Ignorance and lack of education pretty much lead to the same or similar misconceptions.
Like when it comes to the media so many things are said with little to no proof. Just one or two people going off about things they have no idea about but people that know nothing of the subject at hand might tend to listen since it might be the first they have heard of it.

For example when the whole "bitcoin is used for crime" bs story was around. People who knew nothing believed the first thing the hear just because it is a fact that yes bitcoin is used for crime. But... Everything is used for crime so it actually means nothing. They think if that one part is true then the rest probably is true as well.

It is the same as saying playing video games will make you into a mindless criminal hell bent on violence.
1885  Other / Off-topic / Re: How would you help with bitcoin? on: November 07, 2016, 06:52:04 PM
If you had a lot of money or Bitcoins how would you help Bitcoin/ Bitcoin community/Bitcoin awareness?

I would strongly consider making some altcoins but ones that are actually beneficial to the community and backed by something even if I run it at a loss. I think that would help bring some much needed faith back into the community of bitcoiners. Too many scams around for most of our liking.

I guess competitions and investing in other peoples ideas would be a good idea as well.
1886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The danger of the cyptocurrencies on: November 07, 2016, 06:49:47 PM
You are probably aware of the recent news about removing the fiat money for good and building up the cashless world.

Have you thought that bitcoin maybe the first step of this utopia? What if CIA behind this project? Would you still keep your money as bitcoins? Would you trust them? Do we know who the hell is Satoshi Nakamoto? I suure don't.

There is one big danger ahead. If the paper money gets removed, you will have no choice but to accept to get paid in crypto currencies. And to the big point:

If you keep your money in a goddamn computer, the government can rip you off instantly if they wanted it. I am not saying they aren't doing that already as most of us are keeping *our wealth in the banks. But cryptos will make their jobs easier. Much easier.

What if bitcoin price rises to 1.000.000$ and gold and USD become literally worthless? That's when bitcoin will be the world currency, and people gonna realise that gold is just a stone, USD is just a toilet paper.

Your won't have another choice but to store your money only in crypto, because the other choices will be worthless!

I am not sure if that's a good thing. Being dependent so much on computers just scares me.

You bring up some very interesting points. Remember though that fiat cash only has like 5% in circulation, the rest already is digital. You bank account is digital. Bitcoin is digital. Both allow you to convert to cash in hand. We have relied on technology for quite some time already. So much that we do is online now. Almost everything uses electricity. We would have a massive problem if we had a power outtage for weeks on end. We would have to start trading things like back in the day Smiley
1887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reports of China Banning Bitcoin Are Greatly Exaggerated on: November 07, 2016, 06:43:44 PM
On November 3 the Bitcoin price took a dive from a high of US$745 to a low of $675 with news of China circling the internet. A so-called report from the publication Bloomberg had other media outlets assume that China was planning on curbing Bitcoin use in the near future. However, the reports have remained unconfirmed, and many believe the headline was fictitious.

https://news.bitcoin.com/reports-china-bitcoin-exaggerated/

I don't know why people believe this kind of crap. It is a good tactic to manipulate the market though. Very clever. People that believe this kind of thing should not be bitcoin holders in the first place. If you don't have  faith in your investment then don't make one. It is as simple as that.

ALso thank you for this thread I wa wondering what was going on with the price of btc ^^
1888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Dwoin - Just Another Cryptocurrency on: November 07, 2016, 06:37:34 PM
At least you have updated and kept us in touch with what is going on. I am hoping by the end of the year there will be something to show. It does not even matter if it is something small at least anything is better then nothing. Hopefully you will have something just before christmas.
1889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Victoriouscoin|2 SATS|50% BUYBACK|95% BOUGHT COIN TO BURN|NOW 5 PROJECTS on: November 07, 2016, 04:58:37 PM
VTY price is 1 satoshi, this is a good moment and chance for people who want to buy more VTY, if the developers do not stop the development of the coin, I believe the price will rise.

I totally agree with you if you have been following this thread on day one you knew that this is the best time to buy, movement on Yobit is very slow but at least it's still moving I also included Victoriouscoin on my list to buy on yobit..

THat is what I'm saying. Great time to buy. If it moves up just once that is a 100% profit.
Also you can get a free invesment simply by doing the PTC which everyone can do. So everyone can be a bag holder even without money to start with which is great for any coin. Having ways to earn coin is the best way to get a coin going. Lets add some serious backing to Victorious coin !!
1890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BlueCoin (ß) |Hybrid Cold Staking | Bluetooth | 3% Annual Rewards on: November 07, 2016, 04:55:48 PM
Cold staking is a new and unique feature. Tell me about it ? Why use it ? What is the aim ?
How does the cold wallet accure the interest and then receive it if it is offline ? Does the interest collect into another hot wallet ?
1891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]B3 Hybrid POW/POS [X11] - ANTI-INSTAMINE, NO PREMINE, NO ICO, NO IPO[ANN] on: November 07, 2016, 04:50:52 PM
B3 wallet is staking perfectly now. I have some buy oreders waiting on yobit for some more. (trying to get some for a good deal since the gap between buy and sell is so large but if I stake for a mere 2 weeks it will cover that initial lose on first purchase due to staking Smiley

Good coin. My other wallets are all working now too. The issue was with the name I gave my .conf file. I did not realize it made a difference.

Lol such a small thing. Well now I know and can help others with the same issues.
1892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: New ANN JobsCoin X-11 256% POS on: November 07, 2016, 04:44:52 PM
this store is not a working you give me new link

thank you

how is the store not working... btw... how do you get coins out of Yobit when the wallet is still in maintenance???

That is the issue. It is the only exchange for buying jobs especially in decent quantity but now it is down. This sucks because I was going to buy some and begin staking. Now I can't even stake as is what we are ment to do. So I cannot even invest. Very bad. It needs to be fixed.

OP/dev. Please fix.
1893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 【ATOM】 ATOMIC COIN |★| POW/POS |★| NO PREMINE |★| 100% INTEREST |★| on: November 07, 2016, 04:41:53 PM
no dev
it wil slow go to the end
sorry

Yea it is a bit annoying. I wanted to partake in that twitter campaign. I purchased my first few thousand atoms and will stake shortly.
Even without a dev we may be able to make a profit in a few months time I wonder though if the 100% pos will remain since the Dev said he will rely on a community vote but if he is no longer around then how will the voting take place ? So I do wonder about that.
1894  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Payment not showing up on Blockchain after 3 confirmations on Electrum. on: November 07, 2016, 04:38:42 PM

1895  Other / Off-topic / Re: Average Age of Bitcoin users on: November 07, 2016, 04:36:15 PM
It is mostly the upcoming young entrepreneurs who no longer abide by the "go to school do well go to collage get a good job" bs.
That no longer works and actually never has, jobs are for poor people. This is the new age and a new way to make money being paid for things other generations could never understand.
1896  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: November 07, 2016, 04:34:15 PM
What do you guys think it would happen if all the governments in the world declared bitcoin to be illegal?
How do you think the community would react? What could be the possible solutions?

Worldwar 3 !!

You can't just make things illigal. This would just cause a massive war like never seen before. This will attack peoples freedom and people will die for their freedom so you tell me . How far have people gone in the past for freedom ? There is your answer.
1897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Used a Bitcoin ATM in a gas station today on: November 07, 2016, 04:32:08 PM
That os cool. Well done on showing your support and well done to the local gas station for having it there. What were the fees like ? Will you continue to use this bitcoin atm and pay for your gas using bitcoin ? I think it will encourage this shop owner.
1898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: November 07, 2016, 04:30:09 PM
No, Bitcoin is simply the first working proof of concept. Future digital cash will not be anything like Bitcoin. This is the very early days, still in the Gnutella era of crypto-currency.

Go to sleep.

If it would be the future of money then my wallet, my home will fill with money..  Grin

I would get my salary as Bitcoin. We can use BTC frequently at shop, mall and all places.

It truly is the future. We want power in our own hands not the banks/governments. We in control of our own money. THe money is mine so I want control not a damn bank. Take the profits away from the banks and into the hands of the people. Bitcoin is liberation !! Viva le bitcoin !!
1899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: November 07, 2016, 04:22:19 PM
I've discovered Bitcoin few days ago, but I am skeptical about few things, why would I invest money in Bitcoins at the end of the day,why would I convert money into Bitcoins?

If I want to buy stocks or invest money I can easily invest with real $. Why would I convert my $ to bitcoins?
If I want to gamble , I can simply gamble on websites that require $ as currency, why would I convert it to bitcoins?
What's the difference between Bitcoins and dolars? What does bitcoin bring to the table that real $ don't, less taxes, more income?

Exactly how much time thinking did you spend before asking this question ? You sound like a child to me. Real money ? Please explain to me what real money is ? I have never heard of this term before ? Are you saying bitcoins are not real and do not exist ?

Why do you use a bank ? Why pay for things digitally ? Is it because it is easier ? Well bitcoin is the same.

Please think before asking stupid questions.
