There is. Bitcoind fails badly once the wallet gets too big. It's why people are making replacements.
Ukyo is now doing them manually whilst a proper solution is being coded.
Ukyo is just pacifying old enough withdrawal requests, he does not have enough funds to pay the users. he went fractional and took it too far, now he cannot pay us back. That makes much more sense and logic, than somehow being at the complete mercy of bitcoind for 3 weeks now. Any more talk of bitcoind being the sole reason why people have not got their btc back is really insulting, and possibly makes Ukyo look a complete incompetent liar fool, IMO.

I was assured last week via IRC pm, that everyone would have been sorted out by today, either by carrying on resetting bitcoind, or via a new system/upgrade.
I dont see Jon running away with our coins. That would be an act of a stupid man. However, i believe whats being played out has reached the line of farce, and a position that surely all logic says, is no longer credible for the reasons given.

bitstamp is down again... starting to become annoying
Getting flash-backs of Gox in April. With their awful UI, not good at all.

Like the song says... This ship is sinking...
Pool Hashrate: 28.15 Th/s
And didnt Adam B Levine end the interview by saying something like ".....good luck with the difficulty increase"?

Bit of a rally on Bitstamp. $214.50 now
"Dear Bitstamp users, Due to upcoming holidays, October 31st Reformation Day and November 1st All Saints' Day, bank deposits and withdrawals will not be processed as our bank will be closed. All bank deposits and withdraws will resume on Monday, 4th November 2013."

Do you also have those coins in .999 silver?
As a solid silver coin? I hadnt considered that, but if enough people find the design attractive enough, i will look into that and see if its viable. If silver plated, im due to see a plater this coming week, so i will enquire if its possible/viable also.

I'm still thinking the next major news to move the price will not be BTC news. Nothing has been fixed in the world economies and it's just a matter of time until yet another shoe drops.
I think Bitcoin can use a little more time to develop usability and services before shit hits the fan in a big way. It is never a good time for the sht to hit the fan. But the longer Bitcoin experiences organic growth, the better. So we'll need more than just one ATM to replace the current global banking system then? Paradoxically, that would look like a run on BTC, with the length of that que!

Is the order book being gamed? There are four buyers and sellers who all agree on price - yet no one seems to want to get a deal done? What gives? Why are these orders being published but not being executed? Is it all just a show? Is this merely some version of price fixing?
Its not being gamed, but if thats the impression, it needs to be addressed. Its not my order book, but i wouldn't allow two opposing prices to be the same.....certainly hope the final code doesn't allow it!

$20 to surpass last high of $233 on MtGox AND ONLY $5 to surpass last high of 206 on Bitstamp. Such a discrepancy...
Was looking at that earlier, and couldnt decide where limit orders should be.

Ukyo, I still have 75 BTC locked out in weexchange. It just came back very briefly, I tried to transfer it out, and now it's locked out again. Second stage server error.
I also can't transfer any other money out now, having done it successfully with smaller amounts just minutes earlier.
Something is very wrong.
Had this same problem last week. Bitcoind was playing up.
