China isn't the world. What if India gets on board, or if Amazon or some other big company starts accepting them? The price will recover with or without China, and China is still buying most of the coins, it was just down to idiots panic selling. |

I would not call buying BTC as an investment. It is rather speculating. For an investment the volatility is terrible. For speculating it is a huge opportunity even withing one day. You can speculate as an investment. The terms aren’t mutually exclusive. No you can't and yes they are. How can you not speculate as an investment? By definition. I recommend you read "The intelligent investor" by Benjamin Graham. Depends on your definition. In finance, investment is putting money into an asset with the expectation of capital appreciation, dividends, and/or interest earnings. This may or may not be backed by research and analysis. Most or all forms of investment involve some form of risk, such as investment in equities, property, and even fixed interest securities which are subject, among other things, to inflation risk. I think it falls under this, but I will put The Intelligent Investor on my reading list. |

Satoshi could change the price by quite a lot by selling all his Bitcoins, but that wouldn't "kill" it, that would just temporarily make the price drop.
He could drop the price down massively if he dumped all his coins at once. |

Yeah, I know it's probably a silly question, but since the dogecoin is very young I couldn't find this answer elsewhere. How can I relocate my wallet from one PC to another? I asume that I should copy the Dogecoin wallet folder to that PC and then move the C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\DogeCoin\wallet.dat to the same location on that PC? Thanx Yes, that's correct. Or you could just create a new wallet on your comp and send the funds to it. |

It is pretty secure. Set up 2-factor authentication on your mobile and have another password for funds to be spent.You can also fix access to your IP or disable access via tor.
