I've ordered the rest. There are no more left...........  Grin  Grin  Grin

You have 17 now, is that right?  If your wife has any towels to dry, she can just hang them in the "hashing" room.

Only 15.  Wink

So far.....

I am looking for ways to speed things up, and I dont mind spending money to do so - if anyone has any advertising suggestions I would be happy to hear them!

Thanks for playing!

At some point you are going to spend more on advertising than receive in ticket sales. At what point does it make sense to cut your loses and call this thing done?
1904  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BAMT version 0.5 - Easy USB based mining Linux with farm wide management tools on: April 19, 2012, 01:01:28 PM
Has anyone yet been able to get 8 gpus going in BAMT?

LittleDuke said he had 8 GPUs working on the 64-bit version.
1905  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] [CONCEPT] Anti-Pirate: Bonds for negative BTCST investments on: April 19, 2012, 12:09:31 PM
Subscribing.

And you can tell the sockpuppet above that provided he manages to get an OTC rating of any weight or otherwise makes a deposit he can easily borrow MPOE shares to sell short on MPEx.

MPOE-PR,

You are trying to run and business yet your attitude on these forums is a bit, well, shit. I would like to suggest that your reputation on these forums will be a key factor in whether your MPEx venture is successful or not.

As it stands now, your attitude is pretty much dooming you are your business from any real success.

Meni is correct that your offering is nothing like what he has stated in his OP.

Best,
gigavps

I run all of mine off the same "instance" of cgminer too. Works great. Display is messed up in 2.3.3 for me though it seems. I just got finished reading the cgminer thread. Seems its an issue thats been fixed but no new Windows binary yet.

jddebug, if you have more than 8 devices, cgminer no longer displays each individual device. This was a "fix" in 2.3.3.
1907  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BAMT version 0.5 - Easy USB based mining Linux with farm wide management tools on: April 18, 2012, 10:11:44 PM
Perhaps since all you 7000 series card users are crapping out $600 a card, you guys should come up with a bounty for someone, or even lodcrappo, to do a BAMT split with the newer SDK.

I donate to lodcrappo to get ANYTHING done in BAMT. Guess what..... it now has everything I need.

This is definitely a good strategy.

Thats exactly what its supposed to do it edits the binary reaction your computer has to the bitcoin hashing algorithm and reenters it to allow for multiple block hashing.

This sentence makes no sense. You sound like a complete idiot.

All the rest is beaurocratic hoopla.

Graet is the pool owner/operator of http://ozco.in which is one of the best run bitcoin mining pools. Again, you have made yourself look like a complete idiot.

But for the sake of peace I'll refrain from posting it any more.

This sentence makes you seem a little smarter.

Besides Spooky Snacks just got a bunch of investors to fly him out to florida to further discuss the potential of pristine miner!

He sent our co developer a video before he met up with them and we are using it for promotional purposes!

Funny that your buddy has a Gators hat on and is in Florida. Maybe he already lives there......

Heres the link for authentication : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7FKBAHPB3WQ&feature=youtu.be

NOT a download link.

Again, quite a lot of lulz that your buddy who already lives in Florida is shooting a video of himself in Florida.

Yeah, I never understood why people make such a big deal about a bottom fan or not.  Makes zero difference to me.  In fact, I might prefer one WITH a fan so it would run cooler regardless of which heatsink it is using.

Cooler AND faster....
1910  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [GLBSE] current hashpower prices on: April 18, 2012, 07:48:21 PM
GIGA looks best bang for the buck for the moment again.

This is in line with what I was trying to do. Provide the best value possible for potential investors.

It looks like I have achieved this and have help early investor see big gains on their bonds face value.
1911  Other / Off-topic / Re: Butterfly Labs - Bitforce Single and Mini Rig Box on: April 18, 2012, 07:45:23 PM
I just received three rev. 3 Singles yesterday and have unpacked and installed one of them, and the bottom fan is back!
No, it's not a rev. 2 single, it has the new heat pipe-based heat sink inside, but the weird bottom fan is back now!   Shocked
(I haven't taken a look at the other two Singles yet.)

If this makes anyone unhappy, I will happily send you $630 in BTC and you can ship them on to me.

As far as I'm concerned, as long as it shows up and has 800+ MH/s at 80 watts I'm happy as can be. All mine have the older heatsink and .... 3 fans. They churn away happily. No problems whatsoever. They are lonely though. They want more friends to play with. Wink

EXACTLY. Sounds like someone has a level head about these things.
1912  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: April 18, 2012, 07:41:51 PM
Is there maintenance going on 'under the hood' @ GPUMAX currently ?

This is the first time in quite a while that I am not receiving any Public/Leased work at this time of the day....nor have I all morning from what I can tell.

After the 'hickups' that a few of us experienced earlier this morning (website and mining server completely offline for a brief period), I hope everything is OK.

If anyone is really concerned about what is going on with GPUMAX, you can always hop on http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=gpumax and talk with others in the GPUMAX IRC channel.
1913  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] Dividend Returns - updated weekly on: April 18, 2012, 12:47:19 PM
Assets was not the best word I could have used. I meant ownership in hardware.

When someone buys my stock they get part ownership of real hardware and the cash from that hardware if we ever sell it. So not only do they get dividends but they get real goods as well.

I know you have real hardware but the people who buy your bonds to not get part ownership of it.

I sold stock in a mining company and you sold bonds. Both are fine, just hard to have side by side.

Thanks.

Thank you for clarifying your thoughts.
1914  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] Dividend Returns - updated weekly on: April 18, 2012, 12:37:45 PM
Yes, we pay for electricity first. We are a mining company not a bond. We have real assets as well Smiley   Hard to really compare these side by side.

I would agree with Goat that his investment compared to mine might be hard to compare or would at least require a more in depth comparison.

Goat, I am not sure what you mean with the statement "We have real assets".
1915  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: April 18, 2012, 12:13:45 PM
If I enter the IP gpumax.com resolves to (184.173.241.234), the worker reports dead.
Im guessing thats because of load balancing. Is there another IP we can use to avoid DNS problems?

GPUMAX is working fine for me.

Something tells me the only person that will be receiving his before the reward halves is gigavps.

If you are right, it would be epic.  Wink
1917  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] YABMC :: 5Gh Perpetual Mining Bond :: Almost Sold Out!!! on: April 18, 2012, 01:29:14 AM
Someone should change the title of this thread to "IPO sold out!".

Just sayin.
1918  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: GLBSE IPO Handling and Interaccount Transfers Discussion Thread. on: April 17, 2012, 12:08:07 PM
1st argument is in box 1 - not carrying out a business.  BTC is not recognised as currency or security, so trading with them exempts GLBSE.

I've dealt with tax officials on the definition of "carry on a business" with respect to value added taxes, and the intention is basically to create taxable income.  GLBSE is not aiming to create taxable income in the UK (or probably anywhere else).

(the S could be for "stuff")

What this service does is not bitcoin, or any way related to bitcoin, other than that bitcoin is the chosen currency.

If instead you chose to accept kilograms of soil to act as a clearinghouse for unregistered securities, do you think it would really matter to FSA?

Nefario,

The regulators are smelling blood in the water.

Time to move your server to tonga.

Or even better, to a .onion address.

Or both.

Iceland is probably a good choice.

The apples to apples comparison is how much money is given back to asset holders.

Hm, I guess in the end that's a perfectly valid way to look at it too. Cash-flow only investment as it were.

Can't understand the Mini Box was announced  April 07, 2012 and somebody could order it in January?

I can't understand why you don't read more and type less. There is a lot of useful information in the forums but you need to take your time and go slow.
