The truth is it just takes time to have these kind of chips made, and then you still have to have the boards assembled. its a lengthy process. I am just happy we finally have a prototype that works that we can move forward with this is something that has been in the works for awhile.

I guess if you have a prototype working you wouldn't mind throwing a quick video up showing it running on a pool.

gigavps, could you kindly respond to me ?

While we are on the topic....

Is there any way that I can get a loan for 2650 BTC ?

I currently have this 'thing' coming in to cover it. Obviously, you can trust me, right ?

here's my BTC address: 1BEw3Hj7xwCB1qv5CuU2CHM6i3Hcb92pyh

Thanks,
bitlane

Hi bitlane,

If you are serious about asking for a loan, why would you post it here? If you need something from me, you can always PM me.

Best,
gigavps

Still selling that debt?

Ya... I can take...Oh.... 3200 BTC for my BTCST Account and all Legal Rights.
That's the 'friend' price, of course.
Last week, the account was worth 2650 BTC, so consider yourself getting a deal, along with my silence from here on out.

Please send BTC Here: 1BEw3Hj7xwCB1qv5CuU2CHM6i3Hcb92pyh

I'm not buying your silence.

Well, I can also happily accept 3650 BTC in that case.

I was thinking more along the lines of 36.5 BTC. That is my offer.  Roll Eyes
1329  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: pirate payments list -- accounts paid: 22/459 on: August 31, 2012, 09:47:54 PM
Pirate has your coins. It's OK. Just accept that you may never see them again and be free of the fear.

So you believe he may not get his coins yet you gave Pirate a 10 on OTC.
Do you routinely give traders who you believe may steal large sums of coins a 10?
Just curious.  Trying to reconcile these facts.

Hi DeathAndTaxes,

I was trying to play bitlane's game of trolling. Clearly, I was not "over the top" enough. I'll try harder next time to make it more obvious.

To answer your question, I do believe pirateat40 will pay back all the coins.

Best,
gigavps
1330  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: pirate payments list -- accounts paid: 22/459 on: August 31, 2012, 09:20:28 PM
Gigavps -- why did you leave the swell feedback in btc-OTC? Most are interpreting that to mean you leant him money and he paid you back (which I think is a fair assumption given the intent of the site).

Thanks for actually asking a question rather than calling me names like some others.

I have a long (almost a year) history with working with pirateat40. I trust him and we have worked on multiple things together.

  • I helped test GPUMAX before it was GPUMAX. I used to crush the service with 15Gh. Pirate was always generous in paying for my help.
  • Pirateat40 gave me my first -otc rating around the time that bitcoin fell below $3. I sold bitcoins on -otc for $3 the entire time they were below $3. This is where most of my ratings on -otc come from. I probably would have quit mining if not for being introduced to the -otc.
  • I have traded coins with pirateat40 on many occasions and he has always come through. This was well before BTCST started.

All of my interactions with pirate over IRC and in person (in Las Vegas) lead me to believe that he will pay back BTCST funds.

If I am wrong, we'll then, he has some of my coins and there is nothing I can do about that.

Best,
gigavps

Please help. I am scared.

Hi bitlane,

I think this is the first legitimate (aka, not a trolling comment) in a while. Pirate has your coins. It's OK. Just accept that you may never see them again and be free of the fear.

Your new best friend,
gigavps

Well holy shit I'm now 95% paid up  Shocked

If this is surprising to anyone, maybe you shouldn't be mining on gpumax.
1333  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: pirate payments list -- accounts paid: 22/459 on: August 31, 2012, 07:16:31 PM
YOUR BUSINESS MUST BE FUCKING PEOPLE OVER AS WELL, OTHERWISE, HOW COULD YOU RELATE AND ADD PRAISE ?

Hi bitlane,

If you feel that my business is fucking people over, then please do not do business with me.

As for my new rating, my message was the same as before, I only changed the rating amount to reflect the fact that I believe Pirate will pay out and that I still have faith in him. That is my assessment of the situation and my opinion. If you do not agree with me, then, we'll agree to disagree.

Thanks,
gigavps
1334  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: pirate payments list -- accounts paid: 22/459 on: August 31, 2012, 07:05:22 PM
Have we heard from any of the owners of any of the 22 accounts that have been paid out?

No. They are the ones that all live in Trendon's neighborhood, or near McKinney/Plano.

How do you always have the inside information?  Shill? Are you pirate? Give us the dirt man!

Looks like gigavps got paid out. Have a look @ OTC Ratings. Looks like reeses will be next.

http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=pirateat40

The best way to find who will be next will be to smell everyone's mouths. Those that smell like Pirate-dick have either been paid or will be ASAP.

Hi Bitlane,

I'm not sure why you've decided that I've been paid out. I have not.

As for smelling like Pirate-dick, most already know that pirateat40 and I are the same person. So I guess you are telling me I masturbate?

Go fuck yourself,
gigavps

2.5 hours left before the race. Final equipment check, guys.

Would be great if we could have nrolltime by then.  Cheesy

Don't know about you but he reminds me of one of the forum users, that's a trait of Andrew ''shakaru'' Nollan scammer.

I respectfully disagree with this statement.

except another specialized chip made in a better way/with more transistors

You can still expect mining power to double every 18 months with moore's law. Even with ASIC.

A new mint race starts friday: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=104189.0
We have prizes from Bitcurex - check it out!

Not running much MHs yet though, my main rig is down until next week Sad

That is bad timing. Try and get it going a bit earlier if you can.

Is nrolltime fixed for cgminer? Can you enable it for 2.5.0 and later?
1340  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [2200 Gh/s] 50BTC.com - PPS, INSTANT payout (LR, qiwi, WM,...), API, no stales on: August 28, 2012, 01:18:05 PM
We understand how this header works Smiley
Have you tried it on the other pools? How much load reduced on the network?

Multiple pools have enabled this feature.

http://ozco.in
http://bitminter.com
http://maxbtc.com

It drastically reduces the number of getwork calls on the network and keeps miners full of work without issues.
