Small pigs for me. They look cute.

So this small pigs are they just piglets or are they genetically modified fully grown adults?

The latter would be cool.
I would like some but smaller, the size of my mouse would be perfect as a replacement for my fidget device. When u squeeze them they squeal.

Dude, what planet are you on? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miniature_pig

My planet everything is distorted and colorful. Could also be those shrooms I ate around noon today.

So I looked at the wikipage.. " Miniature pigs weigh between 22.5 kilograms (50 lb) and over 68 kilograms (150 lb) when fully grown."

That's like a big dog. I was hoping for the mini pigs the size of my computer mouse. Oh well.. just gotta wait for science to make em.

Here's an idea. Keep normal-size pig piglets as pets till they get a certain age, returning them to the farm for a replacement baby pig. On one's third trip to the same farm to exchange their second pig, they also get some bacon sourced from their first pet.

"I think there's a flaw in your plan,
but since I can't figure it out, I kinda like it."

Quote
All charges have been dropped against Josh Garza of GAW et al. due to illegally obtained evidence. The arresting officers[14] themselves have been arrested for obstruction of justice.

I can't read any more.  Cry Cry Cry

@gleb,

The ball Earth model has the atmosphere physically attached to the ground all the way out to where the hard vacuum of outer space meets the pressurized atmosphere. As the Earth rotates the attachment to the ground is so strong it pulls the entire atmosphere and everything in it with it.

I hope that clears up any confusion.

Now I'm really confused.  Huh Huh Huh Whose camp are you in?

How does one explain where the rocket landed and where the animation depicts where the rocket will land? That's two different/distance locales regardless if the Earth is flat or a globe.

Dudes, this beer is getting warm and I can't remember which camp I'm in.  Cry Cry Cry

HELP! Meanwhile, I'm gonna fix me up a mess of pancakes for breakfast.
1905  Other / Off-topic / Big Pigs or Small Pigs? Let's make pigs great again! Read the plan. on: August 15, 2017, 05:57:46 PM
<the plan is first mentioned here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2092181.msg20905658#msg20905658>

I really don't mind any - I love them all! I know some people are more divided though; so whats your preference?
I don't have any pigs. <ref. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2079040.0>

"Really? I may smell like a fish, but you smell like a ...
sorry, I promised you, Arnold, that I would never go there."

"Like seriously? Do you have any idea how badly
these two fuckers will smell up the house?
And you better now be feeding them my Friskies Pate Tuna."

<I need to come up with a better lie when leaving Camp Globe to report my findings here, for I don't know how long my mates will continue believing that I'm making beer runs>

CRS-12 first stage rocket returns to Landing Zone 1 (vicinity from where it blasted off from): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Landing_Zone_1

https://tools.wmflabs.org/geohack/geohack.php?pagename=Landing_Zone_1&params=28.485722_N_-80.542943_E_type:landmark_region:US-FL

Here's the video of it landing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tydpnBwz4do&feature=youtu.be&t=110

In the same video there's an animation of where the stage one rocket lands: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3Cqhj-HRJg&feature=youtu.be&t=1420

Now, I'm not a rocket scientist, but given that the Earth rotates from west to east at a ~1,000 mph, and the Falcon was launched due east (perhaps northeast in this case, but argument remains the same), after traveling 8 minutes, how much extra fuel would there have to be in a rocket so that it could return were it came from a distance away against a site that's moving away from it. Moreover, why does the animation depict the landing site for the stage one rocket in the Atlantic ocean that's not even near Florida? Seriously, the latter simply blows my mind.

That say, you guys are paying for the beer this time. PLEASE!

Bruno

<the above was conducted on my own research, unsure if any others on the Net have expressed the sentiment - if so, I would've duly created the source(s)>

Another one bites the dust, bitmixer.io is legendary in this space, very sad seeing them go. It is better to be safe tan sorry though.

Yeah, but I think it's neither the general problem of bitmixer, nor the problem of bitcoin mixers at all.
Folks using bitcoin as a mean for criminal activity could and will eventually use cryptocurrencies that don't have a public blockchain at all.
For me, bitcoin mixing as such is a way of giving legit users a chance for fulfilling their right of privacy.

Exactly this. For fuck sake Bitcoin transactions are public! They absolutely need mixer services because if you even send your coins to a friend they will easily see how much bitcoins you have left that went to a change address. Blackmailers and ransom software can abuse this to extort more money from their victims. By closing your service you are helping the criminals! Thank god projects such as Byteball are gaining traction. Byteball's blackbytes have even better anonymity than zcash, best anon coin out there. Payments are truly peer-to-peer and only the transaction hash is stored on the public ledger, everything else remains private.

Haha.  Let's not get symbols confused.  We're talking about bitcoin cash.

It could be 1-3 weeks before it's profitable to mind BCC/BCH.  Once that happens I expect a mass flippening, so it will be like buying bitcoin at ~$200 all over again.

With apologies, I inferred that there could be a strong connection, with your expressed assessment not being my intent.

I'm curious as to who ViK is, with others referring to the entity as a 'her'. Vicky first comes to mind. What was Garza wife's name? I would do the research but my asshole is saying to me that it's time to take a Marshall-Long shit.

I guess it comes as no surprise that even The Penguin has GAWeletons in his closet, eh?

To say again, I knew that GAW was a scam when I spoke with Joe on the phone at the onset of their endeavor, with Joe not even knowing about the massive tornado that passed literally a block from some Mississippi warehouse he claimed he personally owned that was going to be used as one of GAW's mining centers. After a brief pause, Joe then said, "Oh yeah, that tornado. It didn't do any damage to the warehouse." Yet most the town was destroyed. Hell, maybe Joe briefly used the warehouse as a homeless or distribution center during the aftermath but forgot that also.

Our position regarding GAW and Paycoin. These unsupported "indisputable facts" versus the reality.

There has been a very vocal campaign against the previously highly regarded supplier, GAW Miners, and going even further targeting their CEO Josh Garza, and has also questioned our position on these matters. In response to this, I am issuing the following unambiguous statement.

We do not share the opinion that this operation,or Mr Garza are intending to defraud, or have defrauded any investor in Hashlets, Hashstakers, Paycoin XPY, or any other product or service supplied by GAW or it's companies. We are not associated with these companies beyond personal & private holdings of Hashstakers, Zen Hashlets and XPY Paycoin, and are not paid by these companies.
They are accused of reneging on contracts, there is no evidence of this. Reneging on promises. There were never price promises, beyond individual expectation of market value, and the anticipated $20 floor, a concept since reformed into the honours program, which whilst indefinitely delayed, pending the resolving of legal issues, is still very much active. Some proposed features have been shelved, delayed, or abandoned due to direct effects of the current hate campaign, and other features have since been proposed, some are better.
Leaked emails, widely circulated, have been obtained illegally and are legally confidential. They must be disregarded due to their origin being from a hacked external, and uncredited anonymous source. The hacking of privileged company resources also indicates that the hacker may easily have fabricated these emails using hijacked services, or had physical access to those resources.

Neither GAW, Zencloud or any other GAW operation, has at this time, directly or indirectly defrauded anybody regarding the conversion to hashstakers and XPY. This was always a choice, freely chosen by the individual.
The campaign against GAW is a phenomenon that is unprecedented, and has become almost a cult. The vehemence of these detractors - the majority of whom are non investors - has had a visible effect on trust and wider adoption of this XPY. This campaign was fuelled by a core few individuals, would be members of a kind of informal 'old guard' of Crypto. It is an indefensible action.
We cannot accept any of these third party, sometimes absurd allegations as hard evidence, neither can anybody else who does not have unrestricted access to confidential original company accounts, minutes of meetings and internal and external correspondence. Therefore, were we to conclude that there was a scam going on, it would be pure conjecture, and that is morally and professionally irresponsible, and would leave us fairly justly liable, to prosecution for libellous actions. The majority of the supposed evidence so far,  has no covenance and in some cases is even unknown of by the correspondents. Being unverifiable non original data, it is simply not worthy of consideration for any practical purpose.
GAW are also a registered company, with a strong track record. We have no desire to participate in any clearly orchestrated campaign against a hard working company.

Where we list other registered companies, it is always after confirming beyond doubt, that the company is using faked covenance, or is non-existent. We aren't here to investigate legal entities, already subject to outside audit.

I will finish by saying that personally, I am pretty adept at spotting a fraud. I do not believe that any deliberate attempt is being made to defraud anybody by Josh Garza. I do believe that the real damage being done to investors is due to this core group of 'haters' who resent this innovation and this rightly perceived threat to their own interests, and as such are prepared to originate and fuel this disinformation, not excluding illegally obtaining discreditable and confidential correspondence.

This is not intended as investment advice.

Ultimately, there will be a definitive outcome to this ongoing debacle. We'd like to come out of it with our integrity intact as well.

Revisiting Stacy Taylor ...

http://web.archive.org/web/20140209154018/https://www.cryptsy.com/pages/about

Given that Stacy didn't leave Cryptsy prior to the event because Marshall Long and Paul Vernon had yet to become ball-cupping partners, add her to the list as one who "was unsure who exactly we should be contacting" along with Paul who briefed 3-, 4- and 5-star Army Generals on intelligence at Ft Hood in Texas while moonlighting with Jim Shockney in administering porn sites during the late '90s.

Is BitJohn saying that the rife between Marshall and Stacy took place at the Florida office over some timeframe or was the discontent transpired online/phone? Either way, albeit revealing if the former, surely Stacy would've, and continues to deal with employees/associates who are less than desirable, else she best exit the gene pool before some like-minded bastard knocks her up.

MY BAD !!! I just noticed that Stacy's prior stints consists of work environments where staff and patrons alike are Christ-like, hence having ZERO experience in dealing with the likes of Marshall "Stinky" Long.

Translated: Stacy Taylor leaving Cryptsy had NOTHING to do with Marshall Long, and had everything to do with covering her own ass [and fish- and perhaps Vernon-smelly cunt].
