Bitcoin is indeed freedom because ever since I got my wallet it felt like I owned my bank and had my own keys to my bank vault plus I had access to it anytime and could go there any time to perform transactions. This is indeed freedom and that's what it should be going forward.

It's definitely freedom for us and that is based on experience, but not for those who do not understand it. in fact in this modern time most of the people have knowledge about computer and also have access to internet. but in fact most of the people do not have proper knowledge about bitcoin and therefore they not taking interest in bitcoin. but i am hopeful that when they will become aware of the benefit of bitcoin, then they will certainly start taking interest in bitcoin. i think if they have needed or want to buy something in online but they can wait you can say or offer them a bitcoin for fast transaction or fast depositing unlike paypal that it takes few days before activate. here in my country just to join in online local wallet you can buy bitcoin instantly thatyou can use for shopping more merchant is available.. and it will be more interesting .. |

Bitcoin will be ban in some countries but here in my country is not ban and i think it will never ban here in my country because we are using bitcoin in the good ways paying for electricty bills water bills or internet bills.. and its really big help..

If you try with 100% confidence and you must stick with your decision, then nothing is impossible. You can easily stop gambling. But here we need more dedication and hard work. I agree it's not easy to give up gambling but if you have self-confidence and you can able to control your mind. It will take some time, but one fine day you will stop gambling completely.
It can't be always 100% because you felt the need of it, probably experienced winning so you might want to feel more, want to win more, and that affects your brain also. The dopamine level increase affects you, even when you don't know it. It's effective that even social media addiction is happening, and that's not healthy. Better go to focus groups so you won't be alone. The best solution i think to change the hobby find a game that actually can be also addicted but not related in gambling.. The subject says it all, what books, resources and other things can I study so that I can make an educated decision.
I want to invest, but have no idea where to start and need to learn more about bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general before taking the plunge.
I think there is no books for learning about bitcoin but buying bitcoin is really one of the way to invest.. but not good idea to buy bitcoins right now because the price of bitcoin is pretty high much better to wait for the price lower $1k value before you can buy bitcoin and hold it for a long time that we can say its investment and sell the in the right price to make a good profit.. |

I think, they will need each other. altcoin may be based on the price of bitcoin, but, by doing so, it will make bitcoin getting famous. besides, altcoin also can make bitcoin prices to be higher, due to the high demand for altcoin, the higher the demand for bitcoin. I always think that way.
Altcoin is real and have great price of fee.. the price right now.. altcoin has a great investment and we can get a good profit if we are choose a good altcoin investment because not all altcoin are really can makes you profit.. it is depends in the market.. i have always lost in the long run, and many times in the short run too  If that is the case then gambling is not meant for you.Why dont you try something else rather than keep on losing your money in gambling sites. If you are not sure about getting out at the right time you will be losing and the house edge will collect your balance with pride. We all know that recently, a huge backlog of transaction of at least 50,000 at any point of time.
And one of the solution is to increase the transaction fee. Which defeat the purpose of micro-transaction
with bitcoin.
Is this the miners fault alone? Who do you think need to step up to stop this madness

Its defiantly not the miners fault, if anything is to blame it is bitcoins success. miners are well within their right to only select the top paying transactions for each block, this is what happens in an open, decentralised, and distributed network and its a good thing  remember bitcoin is an experiment we cant complain when that experiment takes a turn that we dont like. Use bitcoin how you like, if enough people agree that's what bitcoin will become....... Bitcoin is experiment before.. and i think theres no problem about increase the fee for every transaction since its a small help for miners that bitcoin for them turn into profitable investment also those miners will not stop mining bitcoin.. Look some site there are some other solution to speedup transaction that i think it can help you to speed up confirmation So you can pay for fee below the minimum price or fee.. |

I never get slow confirmations if I pay the recommended fee. That one gets confirmed in maximum one hour. If I go under the recommended fees, it can take even two days to get it confirmed. And compared to other payment methods (like bank wires), it actually doesn't really take too much time. I would rather wait one hour than days for one payment to be sent ..
Recommended fees are not the basis that a certain bitcoin transaction will confirm fast, you are just increasing the priority of your transactions. And the usual thing because people thinks like that, everyone are setting a higher fees than the minimum. So the line of priority list are just getting longer and longer. But no doubt even with that slow confirmation, still the fastest payment transaction than the usual fiat transactions. I dont agree with you about bitcoin is fast against fiat transaction if you just literally means fast you can just hand down the money(fiat) you have in your pocket and the transaction is done while sending fee thru bitcoin will take some time because of confirmation . I'm pointing out the fastest way to pay that the money will be on the hand of the seller. Well if we are comparing them in fiat and bitcoin for me much faster to send money in other country is bitcoin.. Here in my country we can deposit money into bitcoin instantly and sending the amount of bitcoin in other country few minutes or sooner you will receive the money unlikein fiat using remitance like western union it takes 3 to 7days before you can receive or receive by receivers.. |

The movement of the price to day is normal and i think more price increase will happen.. in this coming vacation. .for now its normal and we will see price dump again this few days or weeks.. because i know many people will satisfied because they are already made a profit if they bought the bitcoin in $900 value.

I just stambled over this thread in Beginners section. A guy bought 12 Bitcoins when they're very cheap and forgot about them. The PC with installed wallet was wiped so that private keys have been lost. Well, another 12 Bitcoins which are out of the race. That was honestly we can say bad luck.. i cant sleep well if i lose that amount and the bad thing he do it with him self.. Wipeout.. why he did not recover it or restore the computer just to recover the file.. and i think there are some tools ther that you can recover the files.. like in Hirens bootable they have recovery option.. |

In our country we have two payment processors - Coingate and Spectrocoin. But it's still not become popular. Business are not very intersted to accept bitcoins because they don't know much about it or have negative opinion. And maybe these services are not advertised enough to get attention.
Merchants are afraid about using bitcoin because of two reasons. 1.The goverments can decide to ban bitcoin and all their btc revenue might dissapear. 2.Risk of getting scammed when they try to trade their btc revenue for fiat money. Yes,they still have to use fiat money despite the fact that they will adopt bitcoin. You got the point and i think they always thinking about this ince bitcoin is anonymous they can still trust them.. like other payment proccesor here in my country there are also anonymous transaction but not in bitcoin they are not dealing if they are using the service for scamming so if bitcoin will use it locally more people will scam because its more easier and get their bitcoin and use bitmixer to withdraw in other ways.. |

We primarily use Delphi, MatLab, PHP (since we have a great experience with these technologies). However, IMO language itself is not important, the same could be created on Java, C or Python. Do you done in this project or this bot.. can you share it with us or pm me the bot to download also the resources or github. For basic understanding i want to find a bot the works and more features.. setup. Everything in trading is in your strategy but we can easily earn more if we use bot.. |

There is no assurance that the price will stay at this level and i think sooner many people will sell their bitcoin and the price coud touch again back to 3 digit..
So we are still not getting bye bye for 3 digit because we will still welcome it..

A good investors should have a good focus on what he want from his money. Investing 5k $ means that you could take same risk with a small part hof amount (like 1K) and move to safer investments other 4k (also have some $ in liquidity could be a good idea.). I agree. You are just emphasizing diversification of investments. It will always good as it will minimize the risks. But in recent times bitcoin investment has proven as one of the best high yielding investment opportunity. And many people are speculating this trend will continue in future also like bitcoin prices will be reaching $5000 levels too. If bitcoin is the ultimate choice for investments, then diversification will not be needed imho. There is no assurance that the prce could be touch in $5000 value we are seeing development in some countries that accepting bitcoin locally like in paris and brazil but bitcoin still anonymous and some country do not allow bitcoin because of anonymity so bitcoin will stay in the price where we are now and i think the price could be only touch is in $1,000 above or below $2,000 |

I think LTC right now is increasing watch and monitor the price fluctuate and you will see the price is going to increase the same movement of bitcoin right now.. check in coinmarketcap.. you can notice the graph is rising this days..

Why does someone want to quit gambling in the first place I don't get. I suppose one of the reason will be you invest to much in gambling and maybe try to triple your investment and end up losing everything. Or maybe you have control over your investment like you keep on investing without winning everything.
The only reason that wouldn't make you quit gambling is you have a goal like double of your investment or cashout when you lost half of your investment. Or any other strategy or goal.
Gambling is not investment honestly you are just depositing and gamble there that honestly there is no assurance that you can make a profit there.. unless if you are gamble in sports betting but in other games you can make a good result in the long run game.. In the end you will be still lose so always keep that you are just gamble to make fun.. |

from time to time, it may be very easy to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children. with pc gear and some other supplies, we can explain it briefly, along with real evidence. perhaps with their teaching and practice, will make them familiar with their own. I believe, the best teacher is by giving them experience.
But if they are not interested they can easily learn how to use bitcoin and i think children and teenangers are still in the level where still looking for playing games.. unlike people who alread knows about computer and in collage student.. I think it will be easily teach them if you can share them how to buy a games in steam.. |
