Actually there is no correct answer of your question. And its almost impossible to find the correct number of bitcoin user. But from different researches on Internet I think the will be not less than few hundreds. This is my personal thought. The number is increasing day by day.

I think you have to search about it a few hundred as it is a very low in numbers. I think there are huge amount of people who are using it right now and users are keep on increasing. So it would be really impossible to figure out the actual count when it will keep ticking. Only we may assume for some approximate totals.

I think we are in estimate of millions users of bitcoin as of now.. this is my own speculation but i really dont know the exact amount there is no someone can tell how many people are using bitcoin since almost all people here are using other wallet and the other are using more wallet just to spreading their bitcoin or safety purposes.. so we do not know what is the exact amount but we can share our own estimation..

yes we can only speculate about the users of bitcoin and cannot find out the exact number of bitcoin users. actually there is no such mechanism through which we can measure the users of bitcoin, we can only evaluate the the number of bitcoin users are increasing continuously because the demand of bitcoin is also increasing day by day.

Well, it is very difficult to determine the number of users bitcoin for certain, because every day, there are hundreds or even thousands of people join the world bitcoin. maybe this time, there are billions of people using bitcoin, but it is very difficult to guess definitely it. even more so today. bitcoin prices fell back, maybe there are some people who come back to stop using bitcoin.

50 million users is a big number in my opinion. We are around 10 million probably. 50 million users means a lot, and would require a way bigger coverage around the world (talking about shops, ATMs, etc).

I dont think we can count how many are using bitcoins. Because bitcoin transactions are anonymous. Only the bitcoin holder knows he has got bitcoins with him. But we can get a rough calculation if we check how many people are registered in the bitcoin exchanges. Again that's also a rough figure because there are many exchanges who do not collect user's information. In my opinion its not possible to know how many are using bitcoins and thats its advantage .

There is no proof that more china are using bitcoin.. i think more peopel are using bitcoin from us country or in brazil because more local stores are accepting bitcoin as payment.. maybe 30% only from china.. since we heard a news that china has a biggest bitcoin mining..

You could somehow tell that most users are on that place and we could able to see on those china exchanges which holds huge volumes of bitcoin which really indicates that there are lots of users on that country but still theres no accurate number of bitcoins user globally.

No, there is no other way to determine so far the actual numbers of bitcoin users, especially the users daily now was getting increase in high volume in different countries. Not included the investors too all around the world. It can be trace only for percentage average, I think approximately its round about 25%-30% I guess.

Everyday more users who decided to invest and transact with digital currency spending is multiplying its population, and it became more popular to all who doesn't knew bitcoin is best for their lives. I dont think that btc influence will become out of the track in time because the current price right now reached at 1k usd and that would be a best options that will have a future of profit now.

Actually we cannot determine how many people are using  bitcoin today, not that much but people are now getting aware of the Bitcoin. Its a good news for us users because having many users now the worth of bitcoin is increasing.

I think it's way less than 1 million. I know Coinbase has more than 4 million accounts but a lot of people don't use it. Multi account problem block the real number of usage. This forum also has 1 million users but a lot of them spam bots and multi accounts. When I calculate something I take Bitcoin users as 1 million anyway. If 10 million people use it we should see 10x price jump because of limited supply.

So far no one hasn't realy developed some kind of system that could register the number of users. I'm not sure that something like this could even be possible. Every number of Bitcoin users is based on estimation but that is just some rough calculation. We all have the feeling that the number of Bitcoin users is rising but can't know exact numbers.

i think we can use guess but cannot give the correct number of bitcoin users. in face there is no such machine which can find out the number of bitcoin users. they may be more from the number you mention and can also be low. in fact now one know about the actual number of bitcoin users.some people claim that the the online wallet can give us correction number of bitcoin but in fact it cannot because different people have more than 1 wallets for saving bitcoin.

Is there a way to determine the number of people who are actually using Bitcoin till date? Who would have access to such information? Meaning a way to find out, how many new people have used Bitcoin in 2016 , so that we can say exponential growth is natural not artificially created by hoarders.

It is too impossible to trace the actual number of people using bitcoin. Only different addresses that can be counting in the blockchain history, even in all exchange platform. But we can see the growth daily of the new users, in every hours or a minutes in the entire world.
