Any update on the silver eagles? I just order a roll of 20.. Hopefully they'll be shipping soon.

You may need to restart your miners if you were hitting the multiport before the switch.
|
|
|
I've switched to a TCP proxy for the multiport rather than trying to use the IPTABLES NAT which did not prove to be a reliable system.
The Multiport is officially up and open for business!

Unfortunately no, I can't estimate what percentage of worldcoin blocks will be stales/orphans. I am just concerned that this is pointing all the port 7777 people's to a less rewarding coin. I believe you when you say you can't estimate future coins, but can you track it for a period of time and verify or debunk the issue? You're right. For now I changed the profitability calculation to rank WDC at 75% of its "optimal" profitability. We'll see how things go.

I received some more, but not all. It does seem to be fixed now. I'm guessing it won't be possible to "fix" it completely if mining was carried out on two forks, not without a time machine ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Some of the mined coins will simply cease to exist. Well, it kind of sucks to lose the coins for 2 full days of mining. I'll just chock it up to a life lesson and use the auto pay feature at all pools I deal with to minimize the loss if something like this happens again. Send me your pool username and I'll look into this.

You're not saying you had 11k+ coins on the pool and not making a payout are you? ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) flound1129 seems quite reputable and withdrawing doesn't protect from a fork. It does protect from a hacker robbing the pool, I guess. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Actually, *not* withdrawing would protect you from a fork, as your balance exists as a row in a database table and not on the blockchain. The pool lost around 30,000 coins due to the fork. I will personally cover anyone's losses from the fork. Please contact me if you lost coins due to the fork. I know that some people did in fact receive their coins eventually, once the fork resolved itself, so be prepared to document your losses. Miners on the pool, cumulatively, should only have lost 20 blocks worth of coins, since those 20 blocks were invalidated before they were paid out. All of the forked blocks that were paid out remained in your balances unless you withdrew them and they somehow got lost in the network. Again, I am a bit skeptical about this happening as I was in communication with one person who eventually received all their payouts, even the ones sent during the fork.

Once you add DGC ill start mining to test your pool again. It was a nice one
I'll probably wind up adding DGC and either YAC or Bitbar this week.

When I used to mine here I would only get 75% accepted. When I get some more DigitalCoin I'll move over to use multiport. You should consider adding DGC.
You should see much higher efficiency now since I've moved over to the generalfault fork of stratum, which is much easier on the db (since it inserts shares in batches) and I've fixed the archive job so that it's not killing the box anymore. (that was what was causing the disconnects yesterday)

I keep wanting to add DGC, but I see so many retards pumping it here (not you guys) I get annoyed with it.

Were people properly rewarded for the last LTC block (363,047) found? I hopped off but still have some shares from that round.
Yes. Thanks. Also, do you know why my efficiency is lowered on the multi currency port (7777) vs just staying on LTC? I'm a bit new to this, on LTC i was mining at 95% efficiency but now I'm doing 70%~, mining WDC currently. I can't say at the moment, once I have access to my miners I will be doing more testing on the multiport.

It appears as though the SXC network is currently forked. SXC mining has been disabled until this situation is resolved.

Seems like my pool has forked off the SXC network.

Hi,
Sexcoin seems to be active on two or more independent networks or blockchains. Is that what is known as forked? Sorry I'm not familiar with the intricacies of how it works. What I do know is that all was well and I was receiving payouts approximately every half hour from your pool up until about 5 hours ago. According to the stats on the website, I have been sent a total of 3401 SXC up to the present time. My wallet has received only 2203, with no transactions in the last 5 hours.
My wallet is connected to the network, synced and receiving blocks every minute or so. The number of blocks is slightly different to what is reported on your pool site, which leads me to believe that the block chain has forked into two independent networks with my wallet connecting to one and your pool server to the other one. I downloaded another copy of the client onto another computer connected to the internet from another country (VPS) and when I copied my wallet.dat onto that computer I get the same result - all my initial transactions show up and confirm just fine but nothing since 7:02am NZST (GMT+12). It is now 2:10pm NZST.
Is there a way to verify that this is the case? Or to force the wallet to connect to one or the other network? If there is any tech info on this please point me to it.
Thanks.
[edit] Your pool current block: 9746 My wallet current block: 9693, 1 minute ago.
Yep, it appears as though SXC has forked. I will contact the SXC devs about this. Hopefully they will know what to do.

I sent you an email (without a reply). Sexcoin withdrawls are giving errors and when the withdrawl goes through, it still has not shown up in my wallet. Is there something wrong? I'm new to this coin but not to bitcoin or LTC.
I was hosting a family event all day today. Sorry for the late reply.

getting a 'mysql server has gone away' error on my stratum proxy host right now ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) The pool had some issues today, the LTC shares table was so huge that the archive job was deadlocking the db and tons of jobs had piled up. Everything is restarted now, and I am rewriting the archive code so that it will be much less impactful.

Yes.

Will there be an option to continue mining just one coin instead of having it jump to the most profitable?
My current plan is to allow direct mining for LTC and TRC only.
