I'm getting errors from my backup pool, pool1.
"(2013, \"Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication cket', system error: 0\")",
Everything looks good on pool2, which is my primary, just wanted to give you a heads up on this. I see the error on all my miners for my backup, pool1.
pool1.us or pool1.eu? Edit: also what coin?

Don't know if this a problem, or just a normal blip, but I found a DCG block that never showed up on the block listing:
[2013-09-02 20:37:08] Found block for pool 0! [2013-09-02 20:37:08] Accepted 6f2fa1a5 Diff 151K/64 BLOCK! GPU 0 pool 0
(Times are GMT+1) Same username as here.
Probably just a stale block. It doesn't show up in the block listing unless it makes it into the wallet as a transaction. If the multipool was on DGC, the other possibility is that we found over 30 blocks in between updates (which is very likely) and it was already on the second page at the time the site updated.

Flound, did you ever take a second try at Cosmoscoin?
Nope, can't get any support from the devs to get stratum working.

Is there an issue with updating unconfirmed balances? I stopped dedicated mining CGB about 8 hours ago when I noticed the payout had halved to 2.5 but my unconfirmed balance hasn't budged.
There were 4 orphaned blocks that were in unconfirmed rewards, these have been removed. Other than that I don't see anything that's in unconfirmed that has more than the required confirms to be paid out.

Thanks for the kind words.
I've delayed the fee implementation by 2 days.
Fee will be in addition to the currently selected donation level, or will you offset it for us? Anyone who was already donating 2% or more will be exempt from the fee. For those under 2%, I will not manually modify your donation %, so the fee will be in addition unless you lower your donation. The required donation % for the Patron, Sponsor and Supporter levels will also decrease.

Just a quick question...
Why is the Multipool calculations on CGB half of what CoinChoose has? I ran the numbers myself, and they agree with CoinChoose. So I'm guessing you have another calculation modifier you are using?
I'm trying to figure that out now.. The orphan rate over the last 100 blocks is 8%, but that's not enough to account for the difference. It's because the block value halved to 2.5.. Coinchoose is still using 5.

I've tried to withdraw my CAP, but it has been sitting in 'requested' status for about 12 hours. Can you take a look and see what the problem is? Thanks
Delayed CAP withdrawals just went out. sorry for the delay.

Why's LKY disabled?
Their developer messaged me the other day letting me know we were forked. I disabled it while I was redownloading the blockchain and I guess I forgot to re-enable it. Pleasssse leave it disabled. To me Luckycoin is like a persistent weed that needs to be pulled. I just auto sell it at Cryptsy

Is coinchoose on the right chain? They're showing almost 4x the profitability of my calculations at the moment.
I wouldn't rely on coinchoose. Their profitability has always been slightly overstated on this coin in my opinion. What percentage of orphans are your calculations showing? Yeah I realized the discrepancy was due to the orphan rate.

CAP back on Cryptsy. Are you going to watch it for a bit first Flound, or flick the switch on it on the multiport straight away?
Compiling the new client now. I'll watch it for a couple days first like always.

Yeah, the web server was completely hung. Not sure what happened, I had to power cycle it.
I've gone back to the haproxy load balancer between 3 web servers. Now that the site code is stable, no reason not to.

So do these forks happen when a certain pool or person controls over 51% of the network hashrate, or how do they happen?
Seems they happen quite often with certain coins...
*cough* CAP
You can read all about the CAP forks in the CAP thread. They have nothing to do with network hashrate.

Guys: There's supposedly a MEC fork, trading is suspended until they sort out their daemon.
Flound: You might want to halt MEC until the forking business is sorted out.
EDIT: MEC is now being traded again.
We're on the same chain as the block explorer, at least.

There is so much misinformation in this thread that it's not even funny. I just watched a withdraw go from preparing to confirmed. Took about 10 minutes. Sounds about right. It is now in the queue for being sent to the bank. Next step is pending (sent to the bank) then processed (transfer completed by their bank). The issue isn't status not changing, it's the indefinite wait between 'confirmed' and 'pending'.

I am using like 2.11.4 and i hav the same problerm all day. i think i will put a second pool also so i don't loose mining when it goes on dc
You should always have a backup pool configured. I suggest give-me-ltc.com.

@flound have you looked into my account yet I still see - balances not sure why plus I didn't get any of the deposits I was e-mailed about
We've spoken quite a bit about why some people have negative balances. If you aren't seeing the transactions, check the block crawlers first.
