1901  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 31, 2016, 09:19:15 AM

what if the feds raise interest rates

what if our dollar falls in value

what if the price of food goes up how will i pay for my house

think less, it happens with other currencies too, invest more

And as a separate means to an end...

- It would be a blessing if the fed would raise the rates!

- It would be a blessing if the dollar falls like 25% and stays there! If u'r from US... you have an almost closed economy... that meaning you can devalue your dollar with no worries, the big corporations will have to lose that do international transactions/trades. The local small business will have little to suffer, especially if they don't count on some palm oil exporting country.

- The food thing... you will find alternatives and even grow your own organic food! And you will be healthier due to the starvation. You can also drink water when you are hungry and eat a few hole grans of rice or wheat when you are hungry and you will not die. It is very hard to die from lack of food when you have water and a few hundred grams of something per day. It would take years... trust me! (I'm a breatharian)

- Think less... well that is a bad idea... everyone should think more! And the only currencies that always have to lose are the ones depending on external sources... The closed circuit economies just don't give 2 sh!ts about what you just said.

My personal beliefs are that BTCitcoin should not be used excessively and use of alternatives like gold and silver should be more appropriate ... or god knows what dispensable invention that loses value very slowly.

It would not be a good idea to use BTCitcoin as an all the time intensive worn out tool. It would be a very bad idea to carry this type of measure of currency transaction on you all the time.

People should keep their coins "in the family" and secret most of their lives.

And what I said is not just an "what if" .. but more like a necessity! ... You may not know this yet or see it... or even understand what I will just say next. But BTCitcoin is not conceived or designed for a consumerist world. Who thought of this f'ing concept was one of two things... a person from the future(time traveler) or a person born beyond their time with political spirit to outplay the future and think that the future would look more cynical than most can imagine. A civilized/western society where laziness is not an option and probably even persecuted by just throwing those people in lower and more miserable corners of society.

1904  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: August 31, 2016, 04:56:24 AM
Just to let you guys know a big crash is coming in 2016 in the economy. There is going to be a huge financial crisis but it will be worse than 2009.

The bitcoin price will skyrocket to over $10,000. However  bitcoin will be banned in all western countries. If you are reading this living in the west you should make preparations to move to Russia or China they are the only places you will be safe owning bitcoins.

Let me guess - you are basing your opinion, like tens of millions of others, on the price of oil?   Wink

Plastic is made from oil.  China is just discovering plastic.

Well... this was started in January... But if you haven't figured it out yet. The crisis will be involving pension funds and too low interest rates to yield anything for those pension funds... and a consequence the pensions are being used in the stock markets gambling experience!  Cheesy

And since socialism isn't a virtue in the West.. to take from the wealthy and give to the poor... Well.. then.. bummer! You will just have to crash and burn in to more poverty!

Also... besides the banks that will fail... there will be also the insurance chain of enterprises that are tight with the banks and they are like a safety net for the banks to save them. But guess what? Those also fail miserably... because they have executives with huge bonuses and nada socialism perspective as it should be. They always count on the new/future inflows of cash to supply them and have no consistent reserves.

My advice is that you should stop paying for health insurance and stop your contributions to the pension funds if you can.
1905  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: August 31, 2016, 04:44:58 AM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.

As a wise man once said (me) .. : "BTCitcoin can hold the entire existence of 4 Solar Systems... and then it could handle some more!"  Cheesy

1911  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 30, 2016, 07:22:51 AM
One may argue a lot but the Roman Empire fell for basically these three reasons altogether: overexpansion and military overspending (USA should be careful about that), economic troubles and overreliance on slave labor (this reminds the actual EU problems with immigration), last but not least Christianity started the demolish from the inside out.

Before Christianity was accepted Rome was bound to respect their rulers as gods. After that everything changed.

About pensions... I totally agree savetherainforest. My pension fund is in Bitcoin, I'm building it myself, I own the keys and I own my hard earned funds.

Wars in the bronze age / medieval times... it was a self sustainable process, it would have taken months or at least a month for supplies to get from Italy to most West or Center Europe regions... the problems where not slaves... The problem was technology! Because there was a "Maunder Minimum" situation when the empire fell... And besides that I think it was in a period of dictatorship followed by anarchy or something like that... It was a combo of things!

But the most important one was the pension system.... yeah.. it is hard to believe they had pensions! .. And I was talking about that "mini ice-age" situation that happen then... That made a hyperinflation situation that made gold useless! Imagine everyone trying to buy food that is limited in supply. And that is the main reason it made the romans stop their expeditions in the cold and ready for glaciation lands of central and north Europe...  Smiley ... Then from the year 400 till 700 most of the history was displaced in the south... and after the year 700 the Vikings appeared and started doing sh!t till 1100-1200.. when another mini-ice age hit... then another period of prosperity till 1600 <-> 1750 ... and now our Sun is again on the cycle ready to go and stir some sh!t up! I foresee the population of the globe reaching 4 billion till 2035... I already embraced the path of the bretharian ... I mostly need water, air and some herbs... but the problem is air. I live in a region with hundreds of square kilometers of forest and I still get pollution!... I was visiting in one day one of the medium cities... and I almost couldn't breathe! ... I'm thinking of creating my own algae oxygen production farm.. I think that would be a profitable business in the future. Smiley  Cheesy

*Edit: I believe starting a business/company of building homes underground in mountain and hill regions with self sustainable equipment and a long degradation rate... will make good bargaining chips in the future for shares in corporations or buying big chucks of countries.

*Edit2: I also believe Russia will eventually blow up in 10 years or so all over the globe in all the big cities a few EMP nukes to kill all the cars or most of the polluting sources that influence the atmosphere. Because no one will ever listen or even remotely try to "go green", before anyone can do anything about it or start doing something about it in the next 5-10 years. So... bikes and horse seem a good alternative... Also starting a company building mechanical cars like those Swiss clocks that you turn them and they work for days... A concept like that for cars would just solve all the problems.

1913  Economy / Speculation / Re: New ATH by July 2017 on: August 30, 2016, 03:56:43 AM
[...] And it told me to expect bitcoin's price to be above $1200 July 13th 2017.

Be ready. Use cold storage. Stay away from HYIPs.

Good luck, everyone!

After 1000$ in the next 2-3 months it is pretty safe to gamble... but never go to sleep holding fiat!

Say what now??... Soon there will be a time when 1 Satoshi will be worth more than 1US $.
1915  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now Everyone is buying on: August 30, 2016, 03:51:25 AM

I think now everyone has been started to buy bitcoin , I think the same will be on all other exchanges also!!

I see this is from a few months ago... well... since then I would like to tell you that I convinced another 5 friends to buy as much as they can/afford each month... BTCitcoin to the mooooon!!!  Grin
1916  Economy / Speculation / Re: The panic dump is on! on: August 30, 2016, 03:48:53 AM
If it falls, I buy  Wink

Good strategy! ... but it is unlikely to fall more than this... Maybe you will be awake in a week or two when the coil ends and maybe, a very unlikely maybe will be seeing a 30-40$ dip for a period of 15-20 minutes max. Only if it catches you awake in non-weird hours! But if u'r from the West and China decides to do stuff while you sleep... you should just HODL and sleep without worry!
1917  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dump or long term goals? on: August 30, 2016, 03:44:56 AM
We have seen a lot of people waiting in high anticipation for a BIG increase in the price during the Halving event. How many people wanted this to happen, just to dump and run and how many of them

were ignoring this and are in this for the long haul? I was planning to sell some coins at a inflated price to enjoy the fruit of my labour, but decided to hold a little longer. I already more than doubled the

amount I spend on the investment a year ago, when the price were $200+ ... but greed wants me to hoard a little bit longer. How many others wanted to do the same? I will never sell everything, but I

want to enjoy the profits.  Roll Eyes

After it reaches 900$ - 1100$ .. it is safe to trade gamble. ( good luck at gambling!  Cheesy )
1918  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: August 30, 2016, 03:41:58 AM

1919  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is the price dropping? on: August 30, 2016, 03:39:13 AM
Is there something big going on? I'm asking because if it's just a hype thing (like the Mike Hearn thing) this would be a good time to buy. Otherwise I don't know

... Oh... Ok... This was made in January! ...  Cheesy  Cheesy  Cheesy

But we may probably have 1 more week of sideways then we get pumps! (yes... with an "-s" .. plural...!!!)
1920  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 30, 2016, 02:35:25 AM
Yeah that's why no one in the world is using wire transfers, you know cause "there is no way as of yet to do a refund or a redo if you send coins wire to the wrong addy,or if you get hacked at home on your PC"  Roll Eyes

If all fiat transactions were bank wires, fiat money would have died on the vine & you'd have a great point. As it stands...

all fiat transactions and bank wires will be on the blockchain come 2018

Comes the revolution, we'll all eat strawberries and cream!

P.S. this thread's mostly JJG :\

Your name is inspirational dear sir... Gives hope to humanity!  Cheesy ... Yep... he has his tones... that JJG ... when someone steps on his cat-like tail and wakes up from his parallel universe sleep.. then he just decides to visit us and spam us with novel worthy chunks of text.  Cheesy  Roll Eyes

And besides the "The JJG Factor" ... I see a lot of promise... The coin keeps the super coil going... The world does more war... More pension funds go bust... 52$ billion in Japan (I wonder about that gambling money... where those $ went  Roll Eyes) ... And now it started in US... everywhere.. everyone is buzzing about pension funds going bust... and pointing the finger to the Federal Reserve of US that its their fault because they don't raise rates... And also... there was some official weirdness statement... that all pension funds that are in countries with near 0% interest rates... they get thrown in to the stock markets, because there are better yields there... but they seem to lose money!   Shocked

*Edit: ... Does anyone here know why the Roman Empire collapsed?   ( hint.. hint... pensions!  Roll Eyes)

*Edit: ... Where is Jimbo? ... did he gave up on being relentless?  Cheesy
