1901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did anyone saw the New Bitcoin Advertisement? on: March 10, 2023, 07:29:19 AM
I laughed so hard at the "next window" part and also at the 5 business days to deliver your money. But it was not really straight forward about bitcoin or cryptocurrency; they are really promoting coinbase it's their platform, and part of this is the bitcoin. It's a fun advertisement, but it's the sad truth, and changing it is difficult because it's backed by the government, and because of its flaws, people can exploit it more mostly those powerful.
1902  Economy / Economics / Re: How to increase capital investment on: March 10, 2023, 04:16:20 AM
~
Well building business itself is not meant for everybody anyway. Not everyone has the patience to buy and expect nothing at the first month for returns. Freelancing is not really for everyone though, but when we're talking about capital investment be ready to just invest to something that might not yield you losses and lottttssss of losses at the end.

There might be other "capital investment" examples other than mine, and I would love to hear other people's examples.

We must understand that all types of investments are at risk, nothing is safe and always profitable, even when we buy government bonds there is the potential for loss because there are external factors, namely inflation, life will always be at risk and never be afraid to fail or lose money because to be successful sometimes we have to experience many failures.

That is why you need to consider the risk first, but again, staying in your comfort zone is not good. Imagine you don't take risks because you are scared of them; then, how would you achieve your goal if you stayed in your comfort zone? How would you earn profit if you didn't take risks? Losing is part of investment, but it doesn't mean that you will now be losing; you should also be doing research to prevent it or minimize losses
1903  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is money ruling the world? on: March 10, 2023, 03:03:17 AM
The poem is very deep, but it is true because without money we have nothing, even though we can live like in the forest and rely on food there, but it is difficult. That's how it is without it: we can't eat, we can't purchase our needs. Even though we just came out to the world, we really rely on money to buy necessities. Also, the sad truth is that using money, they can be powerful; they can give money to evade laws and even control people.
1904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you Bet on a Fight that is Scripted? on: March 09, 2023, 05:19:14 PM
I just remember when I was young, this was really fun to watch, but as I grow up, it is very funny to watch as it is very fake. It has a possibility that it can be fixed, meaning it depends on the director and who he wants to win a fight. Let's just say that it is really in favor for person A to win because he is very powerful, and for sure people will bet on person A, but it ends up losing as person B won the fight, meaning they amass a lot of money on that. Also, how do they take care of their personnel, like if they know the script and they bet secretly on their homes on the wrestler that will win based on the script? I won't be betting on this kind of event.
1905  Economy / Economics / Re: The Biggest Financial Regrets on: March 09, 2023, 02:52:59 PM
My regret is that I never had the chance to own bitcoin when it had little worth, but I do wonder if I will keep onto it to now, considering my financial struggles. I asked myself that question to console myself because I might still be naive even if I had the chance to accumulate more bitcoin back then. The only thing I consider to be more of a regret is that I should have had the knowledge I have now earlier because it would have protected my finances and controlled my spending habits. Nothing is bad, however, hence I try to preserve the bitcoin I do receive from weekly forum payments and buy more. It's better late than never, right?

This is also what I think of if I ever bought bitcoin way back in 2016 if I wasn't tempted to sell it when it pumps like 300% which will triple my investment so sure I would be selling it off and not waiting until this time which is around 2000%. Even if we regret not buying it we didn't think that we can overcome those temptations until now because when we say we regret it we always based on the price right now so if we compare it to the roads we've taken until we reach this price for sure along the way we already sell it off.
1906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you think second if crypto without internets? Impossible right. on: March 09, 2023, 11:30:58 AM
It is really impossible as it involves the internet to process the transactions and also there is no crypto without the internet, imagine how we connect with each other, how do we send things if there is no internet connection? So the internet plays a big factor in this. Also, the internet was used for everything so it would be chaos now if the internet will be gone. regarding bitcoin transaction, there are thread about here to send it but you need to have still internet connection so still it is impossible
1907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin can't be robbed on: March 09, 2023, 09:27:51 AM
There are still cash inside there are a sign that will be taking a cash so those theft are not disappointed unless they haven't opened it . But way back 3 years a go for sure they only got small amount as bitcoin was not that known that time. Also if we are talking about getting rob , i am not sure if you saw a thread here that someone got inside to the house then they bribe that person to send the bitcoin to their wallet so it is some sort of bribery so still there are still ways that you get robbed but not the same on physical way.
1908  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too late to start? on: March 09, 2023, 07:30:13 AM
This question has been asked frequently here in the forum. What I would suggest is that you try to search over the forum or try to search in Google, which will give you the gist of it and allow you to understand more about bitcoin. Also, for sure, people will always say that it is not too late to start as long as you have money to buy it, even if the price is high, but again, make sure you know the risk and are not blinded by the profit that you are seeing in a few years.
1909  Economy / Economics / Re: The cost of living is trying to kill the living on: March 09, 2023, 06:30:12 AM
The cost of living is getting more difficult because of rising prices, it's very difficult for workers to get a raise, especially since the impact of the pandemic is still being felt today, namely many companies are bankrupt, but we must always be optimistic, the presence of the internet, which is getting easier and cheaper, gives us opportunities to earn income In addition, even people who don't graduate from school can earn thousands of dollars a month just creating content on YouTube or TikTok.

Opportunities are everywhere, but you also need to have determination because it is not that easy to earn money online, even though it is still good for us to get hired and just work from home, but our bosses are from other countries. Though this opportunity is only for those who have gadgets and have internet access, what worries me more are those people who are not computer literate and are relying on physical jobs since there are still companies that are not open right now and there are low hirings, so the unemployment rate is still high.
1910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wrong Bets !!! on: March 09, 2023, 05:40:14 AM
That was a huge bet, and it's a loss. If that's a win, then it's okay. I am not sure if this happened to me before, as I am always keen on checking zeros before hitting a bet because, as you know, I am very into attention to details and I don't want to be wrong, so I always check it. You should be always double checking this or also try to bet like using other forms of cryptocurrency that are whole like doge so that you won't be having problems on zeros, but if you are just keen on checking it then it is okay.
1911  Economy / Economics / Re: Benefit from Higher Education? on: March 09, 2023, 04:48:14 AM
I am sure that our parents only want the best for us, but the world is changing very quickly now and I see how difficult it is for them to understand what is best for their children now.
It will not be difficult for our parents to understand what is best for their children now, even though times have totally changed compared to when they were young. Because every parent just wants to see their child happy with choices that are not wrong, such as working in a good place to earn money and marrying someone who can take care of their home and family in the future.
that is a sure thing, but with the sophistication of technology today it makes it difficult for parents to control their children from unwanted things.
when a child has grown into an adult then everything depends on one's own desires and also environmental factors that will affect a lot despite the great encouragement from parents.
also in terms of education.

still you can guide them even the harsh world your child in and got influence to others but what scares most is the if it reach to the point that it will not listen to you that is why once they are still toddler you need to discipline them so that they will listen to you. Even you still going to school if the parents is still not guiding the child still not values as they got train by their parents to be bad. That is why parents is the key for the child the be good and in education they will learn about the practical things in the world
1912  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotion and Trade? on: March 09, 2023, 03:18:29 AM
I guess for someone to call him or her self a trader you need to control your emotions right, now after having that emotion in control and other basic things a trader should know you have all under control and still loss more then getting profit.

*What else is required for such a person to control,is it still his or her emotions or what next?

*And what will be your advice to a person in that position or state and what kind of trader are you going to call such a person?

I guess if you can control your emotions and keep yourself calm in any situation which is good, then it gives you a good effect to have a wise decision to have a good call in trading. Then if you still loss a lot in trading or investing despite the fact that you can control your emotions? Maybe you lack a good timing and knowledge, you're already composed so there's something ain't right when you are trading. I myself can say that I might can't control sometimes my emotions especially when trading, but can still keep up since I know what I'm doing.

Losses are really part of trading, but those losses have reasons behind them, one of which is that you haven't controlled your emotions, so you trigger the trade even if your confirmation is not yet confirmed, which is why controlling your emotions is best, like having patience and not hastily triggering the trade, as well as being greedy, which leads to losses and mostly chasing back your losses, which means you trade beyond your capacity. If you have already strategy in trading your mostly enemy is your emotions which really needs to practice to control also.
1913  Economy / Economics / Re: Twitter becoming Worlds biggest Financial Institution? on: March 09, 2023, 02:25:34 AM
It really depends on what is the outcome on this as we dont know what his plans is, i haven heard also opinions and critics on this but it is like papal but with social media but what tech should they use and how will AI will apply to it. As of the moment details is still not clear but again Elon was kind of person that can shock the world so probably lets wait for it this year for more details but yes this year would be full of AI so for sure he will take part of it
1914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel selling your BTC against your plans? on: March 08, 2023, 05:18:55 PM
trust me mate , you will regret that all your life as once I did this because of some personal matter that needs to be funded and that is totally against my will but have no choice back then.

90% of the time, this happens to me. I never want to sell the bitcoins, but the circumstances have become such that I will be bound to sell them at such a low price. I only sold the coins when I was in need of hard cash for some quick or urgent work. But I also make sure that, if I have some extra money left, I buy the bitcoins with it, irrespective of the current price of bitcoin. To be honest, it really feels bad when I have to sell the coins at such a low price, but at that time, I didn’t have other options either.

When things don't go as we planned, it's an indescribable sadness. But if selling bitcoin or any other asset can help us in an emergency or save someone, it's the right thing to do. And as you said: as long as we have money, we can buy back bitcoins, so there is no need to regret but find a way to fill in what was lost.

But you bought it at a different price and also sold it at a loss, but if your purpose is to have money in case of emergencies and those are not intended for other things, then it is okay, but if you have plans for it, try to find another solution like borrowing money if you can pay it, mostly if that is not huge. Though again, if the situation is really bad, you have no choice but to sell it. Don't regret it; you needed it. But next time, you should also have an emergency fund so that you can take it in case of emergency.
1915  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: March 08, 2023, 04:23:32 PM

it depends on the game
some games have a skill component
other games like Poker are way more about skill than about luck

not all games will be 0% luck 100% skill / 100% luck 0% skill
some will be a mix like 80/20 or 60/40
Right in skill based games you can turn you luck into your side by playing skillfully and winning the game.I have seen players turning the whole game in Poker with normal cards against good pairs by their mindset so there are skill based games also.

definitely
Poker is a good example for a game that mixes skill with a strong luck component
chess is a good example for a skill game with a really weak luck component (the only way to be lucky in chess is if your opponent makes a mistake)

Poker is also a combination of experience and the ability to read others because if you can read other people's emotions, you can also sort of read their cards, though I don't know this game very well, but this is what I've noticed, so if you're very experienced on this, you have an advantage even if you get unlucky with your card picks. Chess was an overly broad comparison; instead, consider slots. Slots are entirely luck-based, with no strategy involved; if you get lucky on those spins, you will win, but most of the time you will lose.
1916  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotion and Trade? on: March 08, 2023, 11:47:05 AM
While emotional control is great, you can have top-tier emotional control over your trades but in the end you're still a bad a trader if you don't know how to trade in the first place.
Precisely. Emotional control is just one of those factors that could contribute to the success of trading. Even if you are able to manage your emotions, but the fact that trading is not meant for you, then you can’t be successful and become profitable in trading. That’s why a lot would want to trade for profits, but the moment they endure consistent losses, they end up quitting rather than learning and pursuing their trades.

That is exactly what others thought, that trading is simple, like buying low and selling high, but it is not. That is why others just join in on the hype in trading because they thought it was easy, and when they see it and try it, they will quit. Also, others will try to hastily learn, like they want to finish the tutorial in just one night, and they will then try to trade with real balance and end up losing. Trading is not for all , it is only for those patient , consistent and have determination which means those who are just after profit and not into learning for sure they will quit.
1917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bold step to invest my fiat in Bitcoin on: March 08, 2023, 10:19:23 AM
...

Then there's something I have noticed recently, why is it that people mostly post their new purchase of bitcoin it's mostly common to newbies who just venture into the forum. Is there any reason why they does that or could it be is the best way to share around this forum they now own fractions of bitcoin?

I think is better to stop this childish play because for me is really causing a lot of spam.
Maybe they are looking for merit, I find that the same themes are often repeated. I don't mean to offend anyone, but lately, there have been a lot of posts about accepting bitcoin for businesses. It's a good way to spread the popularity of bitcoin, but I'm also a bit skeptical, maybe I was too suspicious.

Or maybe it's excitement when they own bitcoin for the first time, and since we are on the bitcoin forum, it is normal that they feel that way. Whatever their true intentions, I congratulate them for their beginning, I hope they can find success investing in bitcoin.

There are some threads that are just written without any proof, like photos, which is really skeptical and just posted for sake of merit, and there are also others that have photos on them, though whatever their reason, I hope they can benefit from it. Also, I've seen threads about teaching students or children about bitcoin; some are fishy, while others are also nice and a great idea. If their intentions are true and it is not for merit that they join campaigns, then it is really helpful to others as they really want to spread awareness about bitcoin, but if it is not , then they won't last long here in the forum as for sure they got busted by the veterans here.
1918  Economy / Economics / Re: does bitcoin help in your economy? on: March 08, 2023, 08:01:18 AM
there are many people investing in bitcoin, some are profitable and some are losing. and I believe bitcoin has a big advantage. The question is whether when you benefit from bitcoin, you can help your economy and your family?
Bitcoin and other cryptos still help my economy even though as time goes on our government has to ban their use through its regulations for reasons best known to them, I think the ban has been lifted. But I must say, so many people get job opportunities from Bitcoin and other crypto, so many of us no longer care whether our government can give us jobs or not, we are good with what we have

As long as you keep quiet about doing that, I think you are fine, but still, it is against the law and you are using it illegally. But Bitcoin has a really big impact on us and even on others. Since you have money, you can buy more foods or things, which is good for business as well as the economy. Others are also using it to hire people and get paid on it, which is helpful to that person as well as the unemployment rate for the country. There are a lot of aspects in which crypto helps us, and it has a chain effect on others.
1919  Economy / Economics / Re: The Biggest Financial Regrets on: March 08, 2023, 06:30:13 AM

There are some who believe the biggest danger is taking a chance. They play it safe. Not realizing not taking risks, could be the biggest risk of all.

Hits me hard on this as I always want to play safe before now that I have a family this is the time that I calculate the risk and take it if possible. I think it is also a big factor in having an experience like before I am still young that is why I always want to party like hell and not take those risks but now that I realize and think of it was wrong and I should take the first step out of my comfort zone but again it is the past so I don't need to worry it, I should do it right now and won't miss any opportunity coming.
1920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My $300 bet won $417,000 on: March 08, 2023, 05:30:16 AM
Congratulations. That was an unbelievable feat. Just this week I tried doing multi bets although I included some matches and sports that I already didn't watch closely. After losing some tickets, I gave up. But after reading this inspiring story, I am thinking of doing it again. And just like everyone else, I am curious if you will share your next multi-bets. I'll give it a try and see if I can get some of your luck. Grin
Don’t panic and jump in to the gamble by just reading someone story. If you jump into gambling only by hearing other people's stories, it will bring you bigger losses.  You will never win big prizes by following other people's stories.  Big prizes are not always won.  It suddenly gets to someone. You can get it too, but neither you nor anyone knows when.  You can try but never panic. Keep gambling with a cool mind

No worries. I never panic about anything mate. And I won't just jump completely without checking it. And besides, if I ever follow OP's bets, it will be very small amounts that won't hurt my feelings if it loses. It would be dumb if people believes that there is such a thing as called sure-bets. Multi-bets are the most difficult in sports betting so we better expect their low chances of winning. Maybe $10 or a little more or less will be my range. If a $300 ticket can win $417k then a $10 ticket can probably get $10k when lucky.

That's right. We should not forget that gambling has only only two sides, it's either you win or lose. There's no such thing as draw as you will just have either one of the outcome at the end of the day, why? I don't think that you will stop betting once your bets hit the draw mark, chances are that you will still continue until you will end the day with losses or wins.
Mostly importantly, you cannot achieve big hits if you're following someone's shadow. If you feel that you're lucky, then go for it. Don't go and start betting if you will just trust your fate in other person's hand.

I'd say there are 4 sides, not only two

win big
win small
loose big
loose small

as in trading avoiding big losses is a must if you want to stay in the game

patience and emotional control plays a big role in the game

Whatever you label it mate, it will still go back to only 2 sides just like a coin. It doesn't matter if you win big, win small, lose big and lose small as defeats are still defeats as well as wins are still a win no matter what angle you're trying to see it.

And actually, we cannot really compare betting towards trading because it's a two different kind. Trading requires experience and learning but for betting, not really. It's just a battle of luck especially if it's just a casino games but for sports betting, that's also a different one.

Trading and gambling are very far unless you are just trading using luck and without any knowledge or experience at all like flipping a coin to decide what trade you will tick into. Though gambling of it needs strategy and also experience like card games still it is all about luck, the main difference is that trading is for profit, business and investment but gambling, is for fun and it is difficult to make a living from it, unlike trading and also in all aspects patience and controling emotions is a must to be successful
