I have been willing to see a thread like this to discuss cryptocurrency in 2018 and several occurrences and impact on the space. A 5 year individual in the space should never be affected with the bear market if he had prepared so well. My basic lesson is never hodl in a bull market, you can hodl in bear market. There is no advantage to have held on to one's profit at the climax or peak of bull price.

most projects in 2017 are overvalued and may never reach the ICO value in bitcoin or ethereum, There are fewer successful project this year, better valued and scam had been considerably contained during the period. So i will advice one to look at some project in the q2,q3 and q4 of 2018 that are already listed on exchange and dumped in price. Also some of the project in the top 100 on the coinmarketcap that had been there for 1-2 years.

Reading the last few threads, it is obvious people are ready for any eventuality in the space with the price dump, They are really frustrated.

There is higher percentage of any project getting into market dropping in price but at the bottom of the price market I dont expect anything close to -30% price dump, unlike the project that started at last year December. Most ICO after raising fund had failed to get listed with the fear of the bear market, which might be understandable to a certain extent. They can still allow on the counter transaction if possible for interested investors in some countries.

Moving coin to safer place does not prevent its dump and only few projects are getting through this period. Even bitcoin is struggling because of the price decline, a lot of miners has exit and other downturns. At this lowest price, holding is the best option against OP message.

I think the stakes update should be followed with token calculation. let us also know what our activities worth. I also believe the address submission for token distribution has been temporarily suspended but not actually stated or announced. there are so many complains on the wallet for now

I used to think Satoshi invented this forum, that he invented the forum to help discuss the promotion of the token and community. If he did, who got the forum administration employed ? and if he was not the one, then there was a link to him along the line of transferring the forum's leadership. He is not actually anonymous, am sure some people or organisation or government are hiding him

initially most ICOs are paid in bitcoin, now some ICOs still give hunters choices of payment in ethereum or ICO token at the point of token distribution. Last year ICO coin was preferable in its token but this year almost all coin had a very terrible price dump which makes bitcoin payment preferable. Bounty hunters entry to token market give a test to the liquidity of a token for at least some weeks of exchange listing.

some opinion says ethereum now has stronger competitor with better technology in continent and community where cryptocurrency is much appreciated. They believe the community and tech advantage is able to pull the price up. however, I consider the existing token on the platform already that have healthy trade in the market and the ethereum decentralized , they are capable of keeping the token sustainable for a longer time.

ERC20 has this depreciating effect on tokens on its platform now but I cant tell if exit from it is a solution now. Even token from team leader that are co-team leaders of RSK are not considering changing. It wont also be easy for project with different platform that have already being distributed.

Its a buying market but one should be very careful not to put money in dying project or dead project. The price slump is killing a lot of project now. They have spent all they had, some due to greediness, kept their funds in ethereum and bitcoin waiting to profit from the market if it grows, now fell into the market slump whereas reducing their capital grossly at -80 to -90%. Such project if acquired will turn to 0 before next bull run.

I never saw it that way until the price dump got this huge. The exchanges listed should not be as many but I think they are using the influence they got in the market and crypto space to make their token available on many exchanges as possible. It is surprising not to see the coin on coinmarketcap also, I don't  believe the coin is not making a high amount of trade enough to be listed on coinmarketcap.

The dimension looks different this time If all that am reading in the news is true, and it is difficult to say who is saying the truth. If we consider the unspoken response of the ICO, most of them are looking toward the end of 2019 either to raise fund, get listed on exchange or to fulfill some part of the road-map. It will take quality time but there are slated plans of execution in the coming year also eg. the bakkt trade, SEC proposal review and the expect bitcoin halving.

I will never supported the idea of introducing KYC towards the distribution of bounty token, It is fraudulent and should be prevented on the forum, It must have been part of the opening notice for registration. I am never against KYC, I just ensure that all document requested should adequate protected safely. Now that the era of ICO is about getting to an end, more of KYC might be needed for token holders before listing.

$1500 may be a possibility but it wont be good for the space. We all know the idea is to allow new institute and mainstream adoption so has to allow a new era inflow of fund. At the end of the year if it dump beyond $3000 we might have escaped it. Surprisingly most stats or features that should pump are in place but the coin price has gone the other way

The project is really giving a very sweet surprises, one will want to go through the whitepaper and team again. It remains the only token in the year that stood out and maintain a straight graph with its only dump at its listing. The exchanges listed looks quite weak to cause a smooth trend but has enjoyed watching it. I dont know if it is having it best time or greater days are coming, in cryptocurrency one cant just tell.

Most reviews in the news today were positive and those involved had been in the space for over 4 years, they went through the last bear market and knew what to do during the bullrun. There are better news for the coming year and we hope more fund from different angle will roll into the market. The price manipulation was to give opportunity for the institutions to have part of the cake and invest in large sum, however, The result will be to build a strong space for longer run of high price.

Technical analysis had only worked when it is following similar trends and the market is positive  or moving side ways but now some other factors are considered for long term and short term decision. Most of the analyst had been on the run when the market gets unpredictable and those still making videos and analysis have made so many wrong predictions
