" Phineas P. Gage (1823–1860) was an American railroad construction foreman remembered for his improbable[C] survival of an accident in which a large iron rod was driven completely through his head, destroying much of his brain's left frontal lobe, and for that injury's reported effects on his personality and behavior over the remaining 12 years of his life, effects so profound that (for a time at least) friends saw him as "no longer Gage." Hahahahahah. Hilarious etc.

Only if the card can be bought and loaded anonymously.
I really hate ignorant people like this, NO, we will not support scammers like you. I would never use or support a system that was built from anonymous just so idiots like this guy can easily rob people. He might not be intending to rob any one, some people just like the idea of the anonymity of Bitcoin, and/or also don't want the government or whatever snooping in on their purchases.

I hope we get some Bitcoin ATM machines here in the uk next year. That would really help promotion and legitimise it with the public.
I'm hoping for this also. I haven't heard any definite plans for any, but surely a few must pop up in 2014. Does anyone know where you buy them from? https://lamassu.is/https://bitcoinatm.com/Think there's a few other manufacturers too. $5,000 each for the lamassu ones.

Well yea I would use it but not many people still accept btc
Yes, but hopefully they will in the future, and a Bitcoin-like credit card would be a great way to gain mainstream acceptance.

Hey everyone,
We are developing an all in one payment card that replaces your entire physical wallet and allows you to spend your BTC just like cash at any merchant.
Yes, this would be great and would be an excellent step to mainstream adoption. Would it work like a regular chip-and pin format with card reader, but obviously one that relayed with the blockchain?

What can you buy with bitcoins? Drugs, and maybe a gun, that's about it.
LOL, really!! You can buy a lot more than just drugs and guns with Bitcoin! I use Gyft every weekend to spend my Bitcoins, and there is plenty of other places/ways to spend Bitcoin! right, but you can already buy this kind of goods with your credit card. So what's the point in converting your money to bitcoins, paying fees to the exchange places, to buy the same thing you could already buy with your credit card? I agree to some extent that buying goods with a giftcard is cheating slightly, but hopefully one day we'll be able to cut out the middleman and buy things directly without the need to convert to giftcards, but it's the best option there is at the moment to spend your coins on the highstreet.

Don't feed the troll. Silk Road is gone. You can't even buy guns and drugs with it anymore. Silk Road 2.0 has been up and running for over a month.

No, it's for Beetcoin's girlfriend to use on him. Does that site actually pay out? Says you get 500 per review. Nothing wrong with that ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I thought it was 250 but hey even better. Do it and let us know if it works ok. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Might give it a go, but getting paid to watch porn seems too good to be true.

The Chinese will just get their coins some other way. It's not exactly difficult to buy coins outside of exchanges.
If this is true there won't be many ways to get bitcoins. Basically just cash in person. Sure, you can take bank transfers, but that will be illegal. They could use Paypal haha. And besides, It doesn't say anything about banning bank transfers or the purchasing of coins, just stopping third party payment processors. I also don't see how they could even prove what the bank transfer was for. If people want coins they'll get around the restrictions somehow.

The United Kingdom teenager burned by an Xbox One eBay scam received a free console from retailer CeX on Saturday, The Nottingham Post reports today. How was it a scam? The guy bought a picture of an xbox for a silly price because the fool didn't read the listing. Uggh.

Successful troll is successful. Thought somebody had just photoshopped the image at first. this is the type of crap that makes dogecoin look much so worthless
I think it was doing a good job by itself to be honest.
