1921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Every altcoins has chance on: August 29, 2021, 08:59:06 PM
I've seen several times that every altcoins doubles the price in a single day which means every coin or token has its opportunity to boom. IF BTC price does down they drop but suddenly they skyrocket by the next day itself, it's pretty hard to judge which coin might pump for the next day. Is there any specific website which might help me to identify? Kindly share your thoughts.
We can’t buy them all you have to figure out which altcoin you’ll buy that has potential with that good project so you can the profit you deserve after looking for that good project. Altcoins with good project usually placed on top, though new NFT tokens are rising again, we can’t just invest carelessly without even knowing if the project is legit or not, you have to analyze.
1922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why such high fees in ETH? on: August 28, 2021, 11:58:36 PM
And currently the gas on Ethereum is very high if we look at the gas tracker on etherscan.

can the high transactions on NFT trigger gas on ethereum to be very high?
Looks like the fork alone didn’t work at all because the fees are still high.
Anyway, the demand for NFT is great and of course it can affect the fees for ETH as long as there’s a demand and we can still consider more things especially the traffic currently on ETH network. This is too buy if you have no choice but to pay the huge fees.
The fees are high and yet the price of ETH is on the red candles, something is wrong here for sure and hopefully can be address by the team as soon as possible though the fees are purely based on demand, I’m just wondering are they selling ETH for what? I can’t deal with that kind of fees I’d rather not push through and look for some alternatives.
1923  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: August 28, 2021, 11:33:07 PM
<snip>
This time siguro biglang tumaas ulit ang gas kaya nagkaganon. Yung sobrang gas naman is maibabalik.

1924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Cryptocurrencies on: August 28, 2021, 10:10:37 PM
We are thinking for many ways to find our luck and for me this one will not work because you are not lucky on that day so don’t chase any loses and hope for a more lucky winnings If you change crypto because its still the same as money. I never tried to switch for this reason not unless because of fees then it could be the best reason for me but for this one, I’ll not do it.
1925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My friend wants to buy ETH for Axie Infinity, but I said no and here’s why…. on: August 28, 2021, 09:48:27 PM
That’s ok, there’s a lot of place to Buy ETH and its good that your friends still consider asking you before buying in the market directly. Yes, the fork effect will start to begin and we might see a more expensive ETH so its good if you hold a good amount of ETH but if you already happy with the profit, that’s ok as well. I’m holding ETH as well, waiting for its new all time high soon. Smiley
1926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Sports Gambling Websites on: August 28, 2021, 09:04:00 PM
Since I love horse racing betting, I tried playing on the bovada gambling site and besides that Bovada also has a dedicated horse racing book on the casino site, unlike all other bitcoin casinos that offer virtual sports racing.
and in addition it allows users to bet on live horse races and bitcoin bettors can choose from different tracks, futures bets and have virtual betting options like other websites do.
That’s good to know that sports racing is available on this site, I’m also betting on this locally but I haven’t tried to play this online since I’m not familiar with the horses. Anyway, I’m more on crypto gambling on Sportsbet and stake, so far my experience was great and I’m loving playing on those site, I think almost every sports available on those site which is a good thing for me.
1927  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 27, 2021, 10:52:00 PM
And, as far as I know,  you are only required if you're a "whale" playing on their site. Not everyone is required undergo KYC and pass documents.

Level 1 KYC is mandatory for all players and only requires basic personal information. At least that was the case a few months ago when I first received the notice.
I don't know if it's still the case now since I've filled out my personal information since then.

That's still the scenario on Roobet, level 1 KYC is still mandatory even if you are not whales. You can provide false information but that's too risky especially if you are going to gamble with a good amount of money or if you just want to try the platform, then you can do that. At first many are on panic with this implementation even without the announcement, but gamblers have no more choice but to comply, anyway Roobet is a good gambling site let's just hope that our personal information are safe with them.
1928  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin = 100k by December on: August 27, 2021, 10:37:01 PM
we're halfway to that price and for me, we can't reach that price this year but hopefully next year.
There's a lot of resistance that needs to be break, and if bitcoin can't sustain about $50k we might not see new all time high this year. Bitcoin is too good as our investment, we can have a better chance if the price starts to recover slowly but surely, let's not expect that much this year just be patience on your holdings.
1929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK 20% of the gambling venues are located at the poorest part of the country on: August 24, 2021, 11:47:04 PM
I don't think they are targetting the poor people, here in our country our casinos are located in a commercial district and so are some of the casinos in other countries, I think it's cheaper to rent that place and could be that it's accessible and easy to get there, wealthy people prefer o gamble on physical casinos because they are more on meeting new people, they go to casinos not only to unwind but see their friends, partners and of course play with their friends, some wealthy businessman strikes a deal on this place.
As long as there's a commercial buildings with a great surroundings and very feasible for the business, they'll build it regardless of your standard in life.
What's the level of poor in UK? because in my country, poor means no money at all so its useless if you are going to build casinos on a much poorer area, they wont grow and maybe it will be close in less than a year.
1930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoins Be Cashed? on: August 24, 2021, 10:46:16 PM
Bitcoin is a digital currency that circulates freely, without any control or supervision from banks, governments, or anyone else. In contrast, bitcoin relies solely on cryptography and software between computers.

what if the government closes or does not allow the exchange of Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies with the official currency in each country?  Huh
If a country did this, you can't do anything about it and the only option that you have is to travel and do sell your holdings somewhere else and also, you can try exchanges that is still available in your country, P2P might still be the option.

Anyway, this wont happen in many countries anymore because the adoption has begun, and we are growing so hopefully more government will truly accept cryptocurrency and make this legal.
1931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: August 23, 2021, 09:58:16 PM
Nobody gave Ugas a chance against Pacquiao and he won the fight with ease. Plant deserves the benefit of the doubt. I doubt he will win but he isn't so far out of his league that he can't pull off an upset if Canelo has an off night or if he makes adjustments in his style that Canelo isn't prepared for.
Yes, anything may happen as long as the athletes aren't out of the league, because those boxers could exhibit extraordinary skills that they haven't shown in previous battles.

They're fighting for a cause, so it's a matchup, and each boxer is the greatest in the league.
I'm sure Plant will come up with a way to improve his abilities in order to battle Canelo.
We all learn from our experiences so for sure Plant will do better to beat Canelo since we know how Canelo works in the ring, they all have different skills and ability with this match, Canelo is on a good side but still we can't say that he will win. Plant must do everything and make a necessary adjusting to match the ability of Canelo, this could be a good one too but for sure Canelo won't take this easily and do everything as well to depend the title.
1932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Tether crash to $0? on: August 23, 2021, 09:55:17 PM
Back in 2017, the topic of stablecoins like Tether completely crashing to $0. Is Tether still safe to hold your funds on?
I don't think it will happen because $1 is already the basis for Tether so technically it wont reach up to $0 and imagine that topic was created since 2017 and four years after the price of Tether is still the same so don't think about this one because the market is getting better and we need a stable token to at least secure our funds and Tether is one of the best option for that.
1933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to understand that you are making a mistake? on: August 23, 2021, 09:39:00 PM
Have you ever had a situation when you realized that you were making a mistake, but you just keep on doing it. For example, buying some kind of hype shit coin about which you are absolutely sure that in the end it will become garbage, but in the short term there are chances to get a good profit, but in the end everything turns out the other way around.

Share your stories.
I do have few experiences with the same result, buying shitcoins is too risky yet many are still hoping to get an easy profit in short term and that includes me though I don’t have regrets on doing this because I have a specific budget for this one and I don’t buy all the shitcoins just a new one with a good hype. If you can’t take the risk, don’t do it and just buy the good one.
1934  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price last until the end of the year? on: August 23, 2021, 08:58:54 PM
Since a few months ago, a lot of people have been having discussions about the price of Bitcoin whether it will reach the price of $50K. Precisely today, the Cryptocurrency market seems to answer the analysis of many people about the price of Bitcoin that today Bitcoin has reached $50K. Will the price last until the end of the year or will the price of Bitcoin go back down.
We just hit the price of $50k and right now we are unable to sustain on this level though this is normal at first and I’m sure Bitcoin will still try to go above $50k and I’m confident now that it will happen. We can’t be sure if this price will last until the end of the year, let’s just hope for this one and continue to analyze so you can confirm if this is possible or not.
1935  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to make $5,000 a month day trading? on: August 23, 2021, 08:07:25 PM
It’s possible but your profit in trading will depend on how much is your knowledge about trading, though you have a good capital to start with profit is still unpredictable. You might be able to hit that target but its too hard to tell that you will have the same result every month. We’re talking day trading here with that huge capital, I hope you know what to do because that money can easily be loss if you don’t know much about trading, this is risky but still profitable with your strategies and analysis.
1936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 23, 2021, 07:30:22 PM
That's why I dare to say that almost 70% of gamblers who bet on the match lost their money, because many gamblers made pacquaio their favorite for various reasons and like me, many of my friends also lost their money hoping that pacquaio would win

To be honest, I don't understand why you guys bet on Pacquiao. The odds are not attractive.

If I'm not mistaken around @1.2, @1.3? Too low for putting up a risk.

Or maybe you choose the winning method or other betting options instead? What are the odds for these? No idea here.
No better options aside from taking all the risk and be responsible to that always. We havee to move on and respect both boxer because they of a good match and I’m sure both parties will receive a good amount of money especially Pacquiao even if he loss on this one. I’d place my bet for a knock out win, well this is gambling.
1937  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: August 23, 2021, 05:29:36 PM
If the supply is really the problem bakit hinde naman ang developer mismo ang magburn ng supply just like what Binance is doing on burning their supply, napapaisip tuloy ako if may kakayahan ba ang developer to burn the supply o wala.

1938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on friendly matches on: August 23, 2021, 01:55:46 PM
I think that friendly matches are not the best game to gamble on. Not all players in both team show their best and dont give themselves for 100% on the field. Some use friendly games just to test their new tactics. Some teams play with their reserve, youth or second squad in such games, because they save team starts for a more serious match. For example, that is why we can see FC Barcelona loosing 1:0 to a local Antarctica football team (that is just an example). It is hard to predict the result in such matches.

If you like to bet on favorites, then this is really a problem, but if not, then imagine what opportunities appear in friendly matches - you can bet on the underdog (the odds will be large) and the probability of winning is high, because in friendly matches the result is very random.
This is still gambling after all so there’s no assurance on which team are going to win, so this is more risky compare to the real matches and friendly matches can also be a fixe match so better to be more careful and wise. I’ve seen this one on the Basketball with the team USA on the recent Olympic, they’ve loss 2 friendly matches very surprising and yet they claim the gold on the real matches, for me friend matches are not worth to bet and its no that exciting to watch.
1939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Podcast on: August 22, 2021, 11:06:20 PM
Hello folks, I’d be happy to get recommendations for podcast that interview problem gamblers, scholars, professionals in the field of treatment. Please this podcast must be one that is judgement free and maybe one that you have tried or someone you know has tried. Please share, you might just be helping someone out as well.
Do you plan to create your own podcast? Because I can’t see any podcast about gambling addiction and you are right this may help someone especially if they listen to every experiences of those addict in gambling. If you are already addict, this might not help you totally but at least hearing those opinions and advices from the expert, that will help a lot.
1940  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin @ $50k on: August 22, 2021, 10:01:09 PM
This is a intense battle to get to 50k we are creeping towards it but it keeps taking hits whenever it is getting close. I am starting to doubt my faith in it reaching 50k by next month. I think it will this year not by next month. This is not good for investors who are looking at the charts because it has the risk of dropping down a lot if people panic about it not reaching it.
We are too close for this and there’s a high possibilities to reach this price in the next coming weeks because the momentum is still with Bitcoin and the trend is still good in the market. I’m actually buying right now because I see a good signal hoping that my prediction is correct so I can take some profit in the coming days.
