How will an individual without good knowledge of blockchain appreciate what vanig is about doing and what is going to make a potential e-commerce user choose vanig over fiat-based e-commerce website.
You have a point though but then without the individual been educated on blockchain technology and how it applies to the platform and its benefits involved, they might likely never know what they are missing out on. They just need to be educated on it Educating someone on blockchain technology isn't easy especially if that person is rooted deep into the normal transaction method and believes in fiat currency having little trust on blockchain currency. I agree, a regular online shopper might not care about underlying technology but benefits for using our platform are clear: lower prices for both buyers and sellers, detailed and transparent tracking, elimination of counterfeit items and many many more. And the best part is both for our token sale and in platform ecommerce orders we accept payments in crypto and FIAT so someone who isn't familiar with cryptocurrencies isnt going to be left out. I think the attitude of ordinary shoppers will change as well, once they know how safe they can buy based on the blockchain. We are only at the beginning of this development and most people have yet to learn what a blockchain is at all |

At the end of March, there was this lock-in plan that started, where you could have locked some AIDOC tokens for up to 1 year to earn interest on your tokens. Was just wondering if anyone of you guys participated in it? And do you know if there will be another possibility to lock-in the tokens for everyone who missed the first deadline?
Unfortunately, I learned from AIDOC too late, because the hardcap was already reached. Had I already had tokens in March, then I would probably have chosen this option to lock the tokens for 1 year. But honestly, I only learned about it from your posting :-) |

That will surely be a good business base for 4NEW, as the resources can be easily gotten and the market is readily available, though the main purpose of this project is to create like a backup for the steaming population of the blockchain community due to its vast power consumption but it can also be extended to corporate bodies and private homes Yeah Africa would be a great area for 4NEW to expand to if the idea works in the UK this could really help with the waste problem the whole world is facing at the moment! It will definitely be a great area. In fact, I think Africa is one place were this project will be very beneficial because of the mismanaged waste and insufficient power supply I don't see them expending abroad for a few years yet. They need to get the UK operation setup and fully operational first, including the completion of the third plant. Agreed and they also need to prove efficiency of the business model to consider expanding; there is a huge overhead cost to start operational and need solid validation to expand. I think they will be alright for the next few/couple of years to prove the effectiveness and profitability of current model. Yeah exactly, the next couple of years will be the real test. Once the next plant is completed in 2019, i think from then onwards will be the real proof of profitability. I can see them expanding to 4-5 plants soon after if they do well. and the good thing is, we have been there from the beginning and can observe how this works with two power plants. Should it bring as expected large profits, we can buy tokens while the people who have become aware only later, must first inform. We have a great advantage in terms of knowledge and, if necessary, can still buy tokens before the 3rd power plant |

If the sales end up like this it means fortyseven bank will end up with less than 4 million tokens in all... I wonder how this is going to play out in the market with its low total supply. I think the low Token supply is not the worst thing, rather it is good for the investors. For the project 47B it would be better to sell more than 4 million Token. Worst thing? Low token supply is amazing, it means you own a larger percentage of the pie, so if the market swings up you get a much bigger gain, projects with billions of tokens or even hundreds of millions are much harder to see a substantial move in the market, and the tokens that do moev that are big like that quickly get dumped by everyone with stockpiles of tokens. Yea. Huge token supply actually favors the whales more than it favors the market especially when there is a little significant increase in the price of token. And such people just have their way of taking the profits off the market for everyone else with their huge dump Very correct man a project with huge token supply gives room to price manipulation from whales, I'm am actually glad Forty seven bank reduced their token supply along with their proposed features one can be certain of a healthy price growth. I agree with you. When I heard about 47BK's decision to reduce the number of tokens I was very happy. so I have with my tokens a larger piece of the cake :-) |

Reading this thread it looks like so many people think this is going to be the end of hackers, it won't. It'll be part of the solution if they do it right, you'll still need anti-virus on client machines, Firewalls and IPS devices, most importantly you'll still need to train your end users on security. Bitfence won't stop Dave in Sales from plugging in that 'Cool USB' he found by his car and installing a backdoor.
The honeypot is going to be nice, but if it's placed inside your network and detects someone, your already in trouble. I think the thing everything thinks is it's instantly going to stop all malicious users.
haha, you're right, there's always a dave with a usb-stick. These people do not even know what problems they cause Of course, Bitfence does not prevent hackers, but they make it harder for the hackers once they've been discovered. That's a start |

I am also searching for this info. I don't see any such blockchain based e-commerce platform. It seems Vanig is first project. I have done a quick research, and really can't find any. I think Vanig is the first integrated e-commerce and supply chain ecosystem powered by blockchain. that would be great, then we would be among the first. Very good returns are often possible. As a buyer you wouldn't need to change the way you shop online, but the way our platform is designed it protects both buyers and sellers from fake products, invalid refund claims and validated delievery tracking. How's everyone planning to use their tokens? Mining, selling to the grid or using it to pay bills? I know personally im going to put it towards mining.
I have already asked the question here. I will definitely decide for the mining. I am sure that this will give me the most profit. But I'm also curious how health care should work with tokens I think team will give more information about this once the ICO is closed. I would love to send my tokens also for mining and get into growth path for sure. I am not going to sell my KWATT anytime sooner for sure. I think it would be wiser to hold on to them until the ICO is operational; It seems so far mining is the most rewarding; Imagine the different sectors buying electricity  ... Let us see how it turns. Mining is the only thing that I can think of right now that can bring me more profits so i will go with that. This is probably what 95% of investors think. Not many will pay their electricity bill with KWATT but prefer to operate mining. I'm really curious how this will work and what it needs to do for it. Maybe we just have to choose on the homepage, which coin we want to mine and 4new takes over the rest. That would be the simplest solution for all of us |
