OT:

Die in peace just got real.

Switzerland has just legalized a new way to die by assisted suicide. The country’s medical review board has just given authorization for use of the Sarco Suicide Pod, which is a 3-D-printed portable coffin-like capsule with windows that can be transported to a tranquil place for a person’s final moments of life.

Once inside, the person intending to end their life will have to answer pre-recorded questions and press a button that will start the process of flooding the interior with nitrogen, which will quickly reduce the oxygen level inside from 21 percent to 1 percent. “The person will get into the capsule and lie down,” he said, adding, “It’s very comfortable.”

I'm Neutral on this. Smiley

Trying to find a game with less pass attempts than the Pats in this game I came across this.

https://www.profootballhof.com/news/fact-or-fiction-a-team-has-gone-an-entire-game-without-attempting-a-pass/

Cleveland brown in 1950 with Zero pass attempts.

I'd like to see that game.

Many are fearful of the market right now, most of these are newbies who don't even know whether they should be buying, selling or hodling.

If they don't know the answer to this by now then they are too stupid to hold and deserve the lumps they get.
1925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: December 07, 2021, 01:17:05 AM
Sweet!

I was wishing to see this game in the snow!

Go PATS !!!!!!!

Now that's a proper snowstorm: Shocked https://twitter.com/MySportsUpdate/status/1467984605781311499

I need just over a point to win my matchup in the other forum league (and take the 1st seed) with Diggs and Josh Allen left to play for my team. I've never been more nervous, just look at the ball and the wind : https://twitter.com/mikereiss/status/1467980933370466310?s=21 and earlier today. lol

Welp, wheels just Rolled right over me!

As long as you beat Maddogs next week and i don't lose by more than 18pts, it's all good. Grin  I can't believe i managed to fuck my lineup so bad, starting D. Smith with Kittle and Waddle available, madness.

I played Kittle on my other team and still got destroyed!
1926  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 06, 2021, 10:14:23 PM

We never left.
1927  Economy / Speculation / Re: Summer dip?!, December price outcome? ---> JOIN and guess the price GO! on: December 06, 2021, 10:13:25 PM
Interestingly when I made my prediction I was guessing we would be testing a floor of an ATH but figured it would be a bit higher.
1928  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 06, 2021, 10:09:15 PM

Haha, this is what the scumbags call a win Huh?

1929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [Monero-announce] Vulnerabilities identified in Monero multisignature wallet cod on: December 06, 2021, 02:13:58 AM
Quote
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA256

Dear Monero users and participants of the Monero ecosystem,

Some vulnerabilities have been identified in the implementation of
Monero multisignature wallets.
These vulnerabilities do not affect the theory supporting multisigs,
but affect the current wallet code implementing them.

Initially disclosed and discussed via the vulnerability response
process*, the discussion has been enlarged to other key developers and
MRL contributors. We agreed together that a public announcement had to
be made.

These vulnerabilities affect (i) multisignature wallet creation and
(ii) multisignature transaction signing.
They can lead to funds being stolen by one of the signing parties.

Until a fix is released, we strongly recommend not to perform any
multisignature transaction unless all signing parties can be trusted.
If all signing parties cannot be trusted, no transaction should be
attempted. Funds are not at risk if they are not moved and if the
wallet-creation process was not abused.

A fix is currently being reviewed. At this stage we hope to have a
pull request ready within a week, together with a more detailed
description of the issues.

Regards,

binaryFate

Time to join Proudhon!

Meh these image post errors are getting real old real fast!

Seems like a board issue with png files?
Had the same prob yesterday.

EDIT: New Poll?

Anyone?
My suggestion:
"Are you going to attend Proudhon's $10k party?"

(yes/no)

I shrunk it and that seemed to work.

Damn board should handle this.

Edited again: Then I had to redo it and host it elsewhere. @##@%$@#

Gloating is not becoming of a gentleman wannabe.

Speaking of which, this is the one year anniversary of gentlemand's vacation.

1936  Economy / Speculation / Really stupid “smart contract” bug let hackers steal $31 million in digital coin on: December 02, 2021, 07:36:29 AM
Haha, another smart contract fail for scamchain.

Quote
By using the same token for both tokenIn and tokenOut, the hacker greatly inflated the price of the MONO token because the updating of the tokenOut overwrote the price update of the tokenIn. The hacker then exchanged the token for $31 million worth of tokens on the Ethereum and Polygon blockchains.

The season is very short, I want to start again and do a better draft! I have missed the chance of drafting the best players in every round by choosing what those youtube videos told me.

It can become quite addicting. Smiley

Ohh and its easy to get in a league but to find a good one without colluders or quitters is tough.

OT: Watch what the politicians do, not what they say.

What they say: "We need more affordable home building in the U.S. !"

What they do: https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/softwood-lumber-1.6262036

Quote
The U.S. says Canadian lumber producers dump their product into the U.S. at a lower price than American lumber companies can because they are subsidized. So the U.S. puts a tariff on all softwood lumber from Canada to raise its price at the retail level, which encourages consumers to buy American wood.

What are these subsidies they speak of?

Drafting Barkley with my first pick for the second year in a row has been nothing short of a nightmare. I'm not going full retard and drafting him next year. McCaffrey is a strong pass, i won't be surprised if he drops out of the first round.

With so many injuries and missed games, i decided to see how our first-round picks are performing so far throughout the first 12 game weeks. You can't really complain if your guy has brought you more than 100 fantasy points. In terms of games played, fpts/g, and total fpts, N. Harris appears to be the most consistent one.

Team               Player          GMS   FPTS/G   FPTS

1 Maddogs          D. Henry        8     21.9     175.3
2 Psychotics       C. McCaffrey    7     12.9     90.5
3 Interwebz        D. Cook         9     13.3     119.5
4 Coiners          N. Chubb        9     15.3     137.3
5 Cows             A. Kamara       8     15.8     126
6 Muks             N. Harris       11    13.4     147.9
7 Taco             S. Barkley      7     8.8      61.4
8 Temptations      A. Jones        11    11.5     126.2

source: https://fantasydata.com/nfl

You may want to look at how many points they got you in the games they got injured for a better understanding of how hard they boned you rather that the total they produced. Wink
I know both CMC injuries happened right away costing me those 2 weeks, not sure about the others.
Yeah, I learned to stay away from Barkley years ago.

He was a good surprise and Gibson I thought would have taken a bigger step but he has been stuck with Heineke all year.  He looked good against Seattle last night though

Funny, I thought Gibson looked like he was just going through the motions, no extra effort at all.
