so would that contain everything in one executable? like the miners and the batch etc...??

If I decide to go full-ham I would do that...

Or maybe I can figure out a way to code a #include library that can add the batch functions to any miner compiled....   That would prevent me from needing to learn most of ccminer's code I would think...

Who dafuq is still using DOS in 2016?  Shocked
Who isn't?!?!?!   Lol

I am trying to stay close to system level with the mining scripts/apps.  Keep dependency to a minimum and simplicity to maximum.

*note*  15Gh on lbry right now =)

Found a program that can convert a dos batch file into a .com file... basically converting the batch into assembly... and if things are picky its easy to port to .exe format....

Interesting.

Now that's system level!!  but not something the typical end user would be able to hex edit their settings into..... lol.  I'm not that sadistic.

Looking into some sort of way to config it with a live screen showing all the variables you can modify and give a way to do so while the batch is running.... but again... I am walking into the realm of "why don't I just code an app to return the data I want to implement".. cause my limitation is being able to take user input, and dynamically use it in the code.... and do major loops, file and database operations etc.... that's making a big project....

A little more hash on lbry algo for LBC  people ...paying well. Smiley
More hash that stays consistent is good.   I noticed that there's hash that comes and goes as if on profit switching... not really economical for long TTF coins.

I have begun changing my batch to account for the algo name changes.   since the way the batch is made, its a uniform change on one section.  not much to change really.

I have also begun working on making it multi-device compatible.  You can run more than one batch (one per-device);  specify which device(s) you want just like you do your payout address.  The devices being mined in that instance of ccminer will have the device numbers in the title bar.

A test version of batch V1.07 should come online sometime after the next lbry block.   Once that happens, Ill take the time to have my machine hash on the updated batch for a day before uploading and switching back to lbry once again.

So for the future all of the individual algos will be <algo>.mine.zpool.ca?

thats right.
Ok I see 3.8 gh I'm hopping in 1.4gh. Grin
How long will the old command lines work for Crackfoo?

I'll keep the port forwarding open a couple more weeks probably
Gives me time to go to SF and re-config the machines up there =)

Ok
So  -a lbry -o stratum+tcp://mine.zpool.ca:3334   becomes  -a lbry -o stratum+tcp://lbry.zpool.ca:3334
correct?
Nope:
lbry.mine.zpool.ca

I'm jumping back on again.

I'd mined for most of a block when it was first added to this pool, but the payout didn't match what I was expecting so I had dropped back to multi-algo.

But I'll give it a go again for a few weeks to see if I want to stick with it. I get 230 MH/s, so that should help out TTF a tiny amount.

Im about 245 solid =)  Ill probably be on lbry till end of the month.
1927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][BTC Multipool] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ Paid out 730+ BTC on: August 05, 2016, 11:51:49 AM
Still holding out for that lbry block.  BEen on it solid;  for a few times the only one mining on it (so it seems).    The share time has become so big that even though I am ~50%+ of pool hashrate I am still only at 10.2% total shares.... which is still totally fine given the profitability of a mere 2.5% share!

I appreciate the lowered fee... I have gone into the negative by the math on the pool luck;  should have had a block by now.

Finally got that block. Hoping for a string of luck now!
Totally.  The rewards are very very nice =)  I hope more people jump on the bandwagon to get a TTF ~ 3-6 hours or less.  Here's hoping... lol.

Have you ever used steam? :  Http://www.steampowered.com

Just go to library/store and search for EVGA PrecisionX   That's how you download a copy.

It's just a i7 920;  nothing super special....  But the case is HUGE and heavy.  Holy cow.  Seriously.  Huge.  Ill either be adding a 3rd video card to this unit in the future, or ill be adding my FTA-PCIE adapter Wink

Next to it is a Dell Precision 690 with 2x X5365 Xeons and 24Gb of ECC Reg ram, as well as the upgraded 1000W power supply.  With an optional riser card you can install 2 16x PCIE cards, but when I ran two, I just jimmied one of the risers into a 1x slot.  That machine is a good reliable number pounder that I am looking to sell finally.  I have a 20 core machine to replace it which presently mining for me up in SF.

Ive been running all my cards in P2 as well.  I have kboost disabled for now.  The older ones like GTX 550, 650, 750, etc... seem to run in P0 on their own... My watercooled GTX 480 would run in P0 @ 75-80*c when mining and not thermal throttle surprisingly.... and that same single width mini radiator would cool the GPU and the i7-920 while mining Neoscrypt.

We just got our LBRY block.   for a 10.2% share reward, I got 0.011 BTC.  Now that I am where I belong at a little over 30% share presently..... that's a nice return if we get lucky again soon!   I am in it for the long haul on that algo for now.
Very nice JK Smiley
EVGA k-boost tool .. I never heard of that and to "keep" cards at the p0 state throughout all P-state changes  fantastic ..very nice do you have a link plz  Smiley
One connection per device is great too. Very nice.
I see you have a cooler too.
ps my cards are in the p2 state now except the 750ti of course.
Thx
EDIT:I didn't know kboost would do that.. I don't understand how that would keep them in the p0 state.

The card may sit in P2 state, but voltage, clocks, and etc are all set to P0 settings.  no matter what the power state table it reads from, the table is the P0 table.  This is how I understand how it works.

I did see a % increase of hashrates when enabling it.
1929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nvidia GPU Mining Problems on: August 05, 2016, 08:10:56 AM
im running 10, so that link wont work for me XD

Anyways... I am happy to have my 960 alongside the 980.  It surprised me with the card size difference when seeing them next to each other:

The fact that the 960 only takes an 8 pin plug is kind-of nice as well.   I've been hashing solid on LBRY for the past few days.  No OC utilities used.  I might use the EVGA k-boost tool to lock it into P0 settings throughout all P-state changes.... but its been pretty stable as-is, and while mining lbry, I am able to mine at full intensity and play 3d games at the same time.

I am working on a mod to my batch to allow selecting specific gpu's per batch instance... this way you can trim intensity per card, and have one connection per device to have more individual information provided on the zpool web interface.
1930  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: August 05, 2016, 07:18:17 AM
Hi folks,
do you know smth about Antminer S9 certification?
Previous Bitmain's products were certified according to FCC/CE rules but I can't find any info about S9.

Hello procrastinator

Please find the FCC and CE certificates of conformity for the Antminer S9 at this link: http://support.bitmain.com/hc/en-us/articles/224442167-Certificate-of-Conformity-for-S9

For any queries or information, please Submit a Ticket to us at support.bitmain.com

Regards,

the Bitmain team

But you wont say a word about violating software licensing.......  software you are profiting from vital to the operation of your device..... ya know....

nice.

Yeah;  IDK how you ended up with a driver that encompasses all models;  Because I have the 980 driver installed on my machine, but I had to go to nvidia.com to download the nearly 300Mb package to install the 960 driver alongside with my 980 before miners would see it......

I haven't had any crashing issues yet on all stock drivers/settings and the two mixed cards.

Crackfoo knows about that issue, been going on for a long time.

You say that like it's something that should be expected. Huh
He says that because its been discussed across many pages over a lot of time.

I remember the week it was most noticeable to me:  when I got a bitmain unit > S3.
1934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: My Nvidia GPU Mining Problems on: August 04, 2016, 05:26:49 AM
Also:   Any special edition cards such as "OC" or "SSC" should never be overclocked.   The manufacturers have already done the legwork for us for the max reliability/stability on their card build.   Keep this well in mind.....   I never overclock a SSC or OC edition card.

probably why the "non-oc" versions can easily match or beat the OC cards wen actually tuned manually. my strix cards (base model) can exceed the specs of the OC version (~8% faster for a $50 premium)

agreed.  my GTX980 is a strix.

I just added a EVGA 960 SSC 2Gb card to my machine that has the Asus GTX 980.  Still solid on lbry, went from 154Mh to 248Mh.   Happy.  Driver install was painless.  Though on the X58 motherboard for some reason I can't use the PCI port when running two video cards.   I may try stacking the cards up (not on the optimal config) in different slots to see if I can get a PCI card to work with both of these video cards.   I use this machine day in and day out and it mines 24/7 weather I play games or not.

Been pretty solid so far.  Lets see how this mix of video cards treats me in the near future.

Yeah.  I've never invested in alts.  I haven't even put a cent into ETH.  I think ETH is garbage and bound to implode given it's malleable nature.

BTC is where it's at.  Ill stay with Bitcoin Core unless it doesn't scale in the future as it was originally intended to be; then ill consider a sidefork if i need to.  But I am BTC all the way.  Less fuss, more stability than other crypto.

*edit* I say stability because its your fault for trusting someone else with your coins. (exchange fiascos)  Notice all problems with bitcoin circle around FIAT... not bitcoin.

blocks found dont get credited till in unconfirmed status, so the value of those altoins had to drop so low that I didnt make nothing for 11 hours?
given the way the rest of the market has gone recently consider this:

Chinese investors that have had most if not all of their crypto stolen are pulling out of other investments to have $$$ to spend....   This is just one possible scenario.

I have had a day where a X11 or Lyra2 coin sold for like 10-30X it's normal value;  all right when that exchange was processed on the pool.  it was like a 3.5mBTC spike.... insanity...

Also the effects of the halving on altcoins is something strange.... kind-of a ripple of effects.

Ive also seen mining and price dropping.... it happens.
1937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][BTC Multipool] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ Paid out 600+ BTC on: August 04, 2016, 04:10:49 AM
What about I had an unpaid balance over 80MNM befor 2pm central and 11 hours later less than 80MNM

The only balance that will ever hold true is the green one.   the pending line above it will fluctuate with orphans, wallets turning off and on; exchange price.   Do not count on this number being true until sold on exchange and converted to the green balance.
1938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][BTC Multipool] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ Paid out 600+ BTC on: August 04, 2016, 03:24:25 AM

But... if I read that right... 1.5Ph?

You read it right, but the page, itself, is wrong.

It shows mine as: 54,842,979 Mh/s. If I had that, I wouldn't be dicking around with altcoins! Tongue

hahahahaha.

Yeah I was confused.

IDK what to say honestly....  Since the last change in mining address, I havent been pointing my SHA256 here, and am taking it up the butt by pointing at NH.
1939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][BTC Multipool] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ Paid out 600+ BTC on: August 04, 2016, 03:07:30 AM

those drops look like either orphans or exchange price tanking...

But the earnings slope.. man... that's not funny.  Its like all the sudden it just started earning pennies... I can't explain that one....

But... if I read that right... 1.5Ph?

If you blast the network with crazy hashrate profitability will be up for a bit, but then diff goes throguh the roof and it plateaus out like seen.....

I have been mining an altcoin and the last 11 hours I have had no income, whats going on here?

Fix image link Wink   Hopefully its not LBRY;  Ive been on it for days with no blocks yet... which is fine cause Im getting close to 9% share XD
