Last December, Daniel cashed in a milestone secretly.
He announced his possession of the funds, 39 days after the fact, under direct questioning in chat, 2 AM (his time). Yes, I remember when that happened. I believe the milestone had been reached many months earlier and they finally got around to collecting the money. There was no intent to deceive anyone. Looking back, I believe it was a mistake and I don't think it will happen again. Also, Daniel has never promised to develop the AE as described in his ICO pitch.
The final milestone is titled "advertising platform", and he is well on his way to completing it. You have no clue if this is true, pure speculation with a bit of FUD. Let's wait and see what they deliver with the Attention Economy. He has no clue on what exactly? The final milestone is not about the ae its about setting up an advertising platform. Basically a website that sells advertising spots would do it. So basically not only he went and used an open source app but he also replaced the ae described in his whitepaper by a fuckin telegram channel. 1 year later and all we get here is a telegram channel, thats all there is right now. nothing else is in the work for many more months since this guy is working his ass off on paykey and couldnt careless about the future of getgems. So what will they do? throw a couple more bones here and there pretending for a whole year to be fixing bugs on this already built application. In the next update there will be a couple useless stuff done, new color of the ui but not a single thing related to the ae. Its been a whole year all we got is " bug fixing" and a bs telegram channel Now explain me how did getgems become the secondary project here? On the most recent videos we see daniel stating marketing is on the way and official paykey launch is coming in the following months. 100% agree with this. I sold my gemz at a loss, gave this project benefit of doubts but too many red flags, first i thought if the app hits 100k users we would see some support but now i think even if it hits a million users things wont change much. The market has decided that gemz isnt an interesting trading asset anymore after they switched to paykey since 43 north. Still i hope investors get a decent return eventually. |

Litecoin offers nothing of actual usecase, bitcoin covers everything already. Ltc is just piggy backing on btc and has becomed just a pump n dump coin, its only a trade coin nothing else. As newer better projects like Ethereum, Augur, DAO, Waves mature more people jump the ltc ship, only bagholders are left right now hopibg for btc to boom.
ltc has a ton of advantages even over btc, much faster/practical to use, doesn't have a billion dollar anon bagholder (or worse a nutjob conman holding said private keys). nor is it about to split into core v classic dramas.....list goes on. ltc primarily a trade coin atm well most definitely, but thats how even fiat gets true value., so tis a damn good start. ltc development has plenty going on atm if you'd cared to do the research. as for those other premine scams you list, you know they kinda defeat the whole purpose of the need for a p2p currency in the first place but whatever  as for the OP's title, hmmmm yes tis called liquidity (which in market terms is more important then price), look it up sometime  The premine excuse of litecoin bagholders is getting old, you see that litecoin has no advantage over the much more superior crypto currency technologies and can only blame the word premine. Ethereum showed market doesnt care at all about premine if the devs and technology is promising. Regarding litecoins faster transaction i must say bitcoin purchases are already pretty much instant anyway. |

$1 per wave would give waves roughly 85m marketcap. Thats nothing really big for such projects at initial release. I believe projects like waves, augur, dao going to be ranked in top 5 or top 3 after release.

I don't think it will reach $10 though. waves has been promoted massively and if eople hyped it like how they did on ETH, it may somehow reach $5. that may just be the peak of it.
How useful can this wave be by the way?
As much as id like it to hit 5 dollar, theres 2 chances of that, Slim and none. even if the ico gets to 10000 btc thats roughly 4.5 mil for the ico across 100 million coins. It would take some serious investment from people post ico to bring it up to 5 dollars per coin. Obviously not impossible but something that very few coins have managed to do so far. 99% of coins just dissapear down the drain. I think the question is how unique and revolutionary is the Waves platform going to be? While it is correct that a majority of coins go "down the drain," I think it's clear that Waves is not your ordinary coin right from the start. So for me price speculation for Waves really centers on how unique and successful one believes they can be with this project. The potential for something special seems to be here. Waves team is building first production system on top of Scorex framework where Waves token will be the fuel of whole platform and all transactions happening there, When you will be trading with other crypto currencies or fiat which will be represented there as tokens, Waves token will be used, when you are transferring assets, Waves token is used, when you are withdrawing asset in form of currency to your wallet, Waves token is used. When someone is issuing the asset Waves token is used. When all other projects will be using Waves platform, the same Waves token will be used for all their operations. Other currencies will be just supported on the platform. Focus is on custom asset creation, lite client, end-user, no blockchain download, decentralized exchange, asset-asset trading, fiat assets, working with payment providers from the start and being decentralized kickstarter at the same time. Waves will have own transaction types also. Other features and apps/plugins center will be appearing in meantime. $5+ is reachable. |

ico generally = manipulated pump and dump scam coins. Not saying ether is one of those but it still is far more easily manipulated over a fairly launched pow coin.
don't think it will go back to $1 but $3 looks likely now.
manipulated pump and dump has happened more with btc and ltc then ether dude, ltc had so many scammy pumps. It doesnt matter ico or not, pumps happen. Ethereum tech is much more interesting than litecoin or even bitcoin. Nonetheless i always believe in bitcoin, but litecoin is just trying to piggy back on bitcoin. Its nothing interesting. |
