Sorry but can not agree with you guys

KORE clearly needs another exchange. we can not be every month in risk of being without exchange.

If we get delisted in Bittrex, we have no market and the proyect will face more dificulties (that in case it doesnt die)

I agree with the statement: "Don’t Push Your Product If It Isn’t Ready"

But the problem is it's already in the market. Now we need to take care we dont loose our distribution channel. And being in other exchanges is the way to mitigate that problem

Just my opinion

So we can't keep one exchange going? So get another exchange requiring even more volume? Sustain volume at Bittrex and worry about exchanges later... Just buy one day and sell the next, both count as volume. Maybe it is time for a whole new coin and get rid of the old devs etc. Most of the work that is being done could be paid for differently. But you would have to get the coin working first and then roll out and get paid off. Well I am sure this won't be received well... but, shrugs...

That's the point!! Some exchanges like Cryptsy DONT ask for minimum volume.

The probability of being delisted by Cryptsy is close to 0.01%

They look for the long term, exactly as KORE!!

Everyone is free to do as they choose.
If people could realize there is a responsibility that goes with it is all.
I don't have the funds nor time to be concerned of another exchanges volume.
IF Kore is listed on another exchange the Community and especially those
that made it happen should seriously consider the ramifications of what being
delisted from an additional exchange could do for long term as make sure that does not happen.

Sorry, just looked at your diagram and see you're not using the USB miners. I've used a network switch to a wireless ethernet bridge to hook multiple S4s into the LAN. I don't see the problem you're presenting I guess.

Could you elaborate please:

What is a "wireless ethernet bridge"?

It picks up the wifi signal and provides at least one ethernet port into the LAN. Like this:
http://tinyurl.com/q88vqbj

Plug your miners into the switch, then the switch into the bridge.

My Linksys has a "bridge Mode".
I activated it and can no longer login even by it's direct IP address.
I still can access the miners BUT no internet.
Not sure I have it setup right.

Yeah, if it has bridge mode, it should just act as a "proxy" to convert the wifi signal into the ethernet port. What model is it? I've had to config a few different brands/models - some are super easy and some nearly impossible. I have one by Belkin that you just plugged your laptop into, set gateway and wifi credentials and it just worked.

Send me the brand/model and I'll see if I can offer any tips.

From these Linksys guides they both show using a network cable.
I need to use the wireless.

http://www.linksys.com/us/support-article?articleNum=132275
http://www.linksys.com/us/support-article?articleNum=143751

From the first link: "NOTE:  The wireless equivalent of cascading is called bridging.  This method is officially supported only by selected router models.  For more information and instructions in setting your router as a wireless bridge, cli.k here."

See if yours is in the select list, if not, that device won't do what you're trying to do.

My EA6500 supports bridging in the "smart wifi account" settings.
I followed the instructions but it will not access the internet nor can I access the router
as it never resets properly "light keeps blinking"
Looks like I have to do a factory rest and try again.

Honestly look into a wireless router with client mode, if you truly just have wireless.   I would use ethernet over wireless if a choice.

But with a router with client mode you can connect to wireless, and plug devices into it via ethernet.  It's going to be much better (and cheaper electricity) then a laptop running 24x7.

Thanks for the info but I need to do it without that.
I have a Linksys EA6500 and searching to see if it has "Client Mode" and how to activate it.

try 192.168.1.1 and try 192.168.1.1  for both the gateway and the DNS server.

Done.

I found how to change the TCP IP settings.
I set the wireless TCP/IP to:
192.168.1.70
255.255.255.0
192.168.1.1
192.168.1.1

I can now go through the Network switch and find the Antminers
and program them.

EDIT:
I can only get the wireless connection to the Internet.
OR
The Network Switch and Miners connection.
It will not allow both.

Could my old wireless Router be used via the 10/100 port and the wireless portion
be used to connect the laptop to the wireless cable router I get the internet from?
OR
Is there some way to get the two networks to communicate through the Laptop?

Hiya,

I have an ancient XP Pro laptop connected to the internet via a Wireless USB stick.
It has a 10/100 port.
Could Bitmain miners be hooked to a Network switch and the switch hooked to the 10/100 port
on the laptop and connect to the internet via the wireless USB stick.

I have an old cable router with a USB port and don't know if that could come in handy.
Be awesome to get these miners up and running.

There's gotta be some way this could be accomplished....

EDIT:
I  know on W8.1 you can go in and change the network address.
I remember once on an 8.1 getting a single antminer to run through the 10/100 and wireless.

I got the 10/100 to show: 192.168.0.8
But the antminers are 192.168.1.99 to set them up.
However this is XP Pro and have not found a way to change the IP address of the 10/100 network.
Is this an XPissue?
could this be done on W8.1 Pro?

Much thanks!

Hi Tesla,
Yes KORE needs more exposure on exchanges, but in my opinion it would be foolish to do so until the takeover is complete and we have a new wallet and new thread etc, everything under the control of the new KORE team. It is possible that getting on an extra exchange or 2 now might boost the community support and get the wallet released sooner. At the moment the priority is to raise the funds to pay the coder, and then more costs to get the wallet versions compiled. I do feel if we were on more exchanges now it would just be with no volume and no attention. Any attention we do get would point to the current mess Eurbids left the project in.

Hi DF, Hi MM,

I agree with both there are some positive and negative points of getting in more exchanges:

Negatives:
1) People could associate tha actual Kore Proyect with the Eurbids one
2) People wont be as much interested as with the new wallet

Positives:
1) More Buying pressure, price up
2) More investors, more people interested in moving forward (donations, code)
3) Reduce the probability of being without exchange (it's not good to see the market can be delisted)

IMO if the KORE Team can explain in a few lines (elevator pitch), it could help to introduce the new people interested in KORE
To include in the elevator pitch:
- where KORE come from
- where is it now
- where it want to be
- how it's working on it

What do you think about it? Could it be possible? Dont wont to pressure the Team, I'm just giving an idea i think will help

It's obvious the old dev left us a mess and we are trying to get it straightened out.
We have spent many hundreds of hours doing this and there is much work left to do.
Many hours are spent each day and the Meetings are many.
We want to do it as right as we can at this junction in time

Will Grexit Force Bitcoin Price to Spike like the 2013 Cyprus Collapse? (Op-Ed)

Bitcoin prices are on the move upward. Bitcoin volume trading is on the move upward. Greece is on the move downward to a total collapse. Coincidence? I think not.

Why? This has all happened once before, over two years ago and maybe we can all learn from the experience, especially all the day traders and speculators out there.
