I don't think even satoshi could win nobel anyway
I mean, how is he supposed to win nobel if we don't even know his real identity
He could be a person or a group  Roll Eyes
Maybe if he revealed himself to the world he might get a nobel prize Grin

1948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why you mostly like bitcoin compare to other digital currency? on: October 12, 2015, 11:33:52 AM
Well many people chose bitcoin is because the fact that bitcoin is one of the first cryptocurrency available

And because the fact that the price of bitcoin is waaay higher compared to the other currency Wink

So its normal for people to choose btc and not altcoins
1949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe we need more ways of advertising Bitcoin currency? on: October 12, 2015, 05:23:03 AM
Maybe we could sponsor a famous person to advertise Bitcoin
let's say a  gaming youtuber or someone like that, A lot of famous youtuber are being sponsored by gaming gears company like razer or roccats for instance,so why don't we try to be their sponsor Grin
And a lot of people who watch them are people who understand technology so it will be easy to get them introduced to Bitcoin
Im sure it will attract lots of buzz over the internet and it will make bitcoin more popular Smiley

Justin bieber is sponsored by Beats and he wear it anywhere he goes Roll Eyes

IMO Smiley

I have a feeling that if both Google and Apple will implement the bitcoin as the payment method to buy in their market it would be perfect.
That would be the best idea to spread the bitcoin in Google Wallet and Apple Pay.
Most of the internet/technology users use android phone and iOS so this kind of advertisement will rock Smiley
I don't think they will be using bitcoin anytime soon
I got a feeling that google will release their own crptocurrency in the future Smiley)
While apple doesn't care about that at all Grin
I never see a news about apple's interest on bitcoin before Smiley)

At first glance, a newbie posting a service involving a credit card in the Services section would probably be deemed as a scam or the OP is probably using a hacked credit card, you might say. But the OP, EthanB, has somehow proved some legitimacy on his offered service. While we were conversing about the vouch I would like to have, I'm noting how would he handle such a situation wherein he could probably have some problems (I actually tried to see if he will try to do something fishy by means of ordering on a closed restaurant that doesn't accept online payments.) After a couple of minutes, he returns to me, sending me a screenshot that he already made an order.

https://gyazo.com/efa4cf6b1c795df31b8b8420906a6617

Because the order couldn't be processed because the restaurant that I've ordered to was lacking an online payment service. I was waiting for him to let me 'pay for the vouch' even with a big discount because it was already on my way but he didn't. A couple of minutes again passed and he received an email regarding the order that he made, stating that it has been on-hold. Tired, I bade him goodbye and told him that we will try to do the order tomorrow.
--

Today, I was browsing bitcointalk for hours and just waiting for him to send me a pm. He didn't, so I sent him a message stating that I am ready to try it again and see if it will get completed this time. Well we went again to the same service that I know doesn't accept online payments, but this time I told EthanB that I talked to their support stating that they aren't accepting online payments that's why my order got hold. I was expecting him to rage and start acting weird, but he doesn't. He kept his cool and asked me if there are still some restaurants that I want to order food to, and I said there is one, and that is KFC. So I told him to order something just to meet the minimum order required to complete the online transaction, and that is worth $5.

He told me that everything is set, and just wait on the delivery to arrive. Everything arrived as promised.

To sum it up, OP delivers, and I got this meal for free. Also, upon calling the hotline of KFC, I asked the name of who paid the meal, and turns out it isn't a hacked credit card (the CC holder name was the same as the first one he used at the restaurant that didn't accept online payments. I called both restaurant to confirm about it.)

In using his service, I have experienced some things:

-He will keep you entertained for the duration of your transaction with him,
-He'd be sure that you'll get what you want, and if the option isn't available, he'd be happy to wait for hours until the customer arrives with their needs.
-There are still many problems he encountered in taking an order. Take for example the time on until when will a restaurant be open for online payment. To be able to perform being a middleman between restaurants and customers who wants to avail foods at their terms, the middleman should be familiar with all the things necessary in setting up a transaction smoothly and fast.

Last note, before making your first transaction with this guy, be sure that you know what you're doing. Use a trusted and reputable escrow in doing deals with him, especially if a deal involves large amount of money. Use your due diligence, people. Though OP delivered, chances are he can still pull out some fishy tricks, though I highly doubt that one.

All in all, I had fun utilizing his service. Thanks, EthanB for the free meal. Smiley
Congrats mate, you successfully just made me hungry Grin
I wanted to order, but too bad my country isn't listed  Roll Eyes
Oh well, enjoy your meal  Smiley
1953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Discussions about digital coins in some countries. What future for bitcoin? on: October 11, 2015, 03:54:37 PM
I don't get it why other countries is trying to make their own cryptocurrency
Bitcoin is universal and accepted everywhere unlike fiat which you need to change to other currency in order to use it on other country Smiley)
Leave crypto currency alone,we already have hundreds of crypto currencies  Roll Eyes

Same reason why people try to make their own alt coin.  They want more control over the situation than the bitcoin would give them i guess.
Are you trying to say that the government trying to make their own crypto currency so they can have more control of us?
Then there's no way they will be big as bitcoin does
One of the reason why some people choose bitcoin compared to fiat is because Bitcoin is completely anonymous and decentralized
Just my 2 cents Grin
1954  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 999DICE PROFIT BOT on: October 11, 2015, 03:45:05 PM
Does your bot comes with a free virus as a bonus ?
Guys be careful when dealing with him, on his last topic he's selling bot with a free virus inside it Grin
There's a reason why he got red trust Wink
1955  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: October 11, 2015, 02:15:26 PM
What? Bitcoin is perfect for porn sites because of its anonymity. If porn sites started ripping you off then they wouldn't survive for long with such a bad rep. News would quickly spread that people wernt getting what they paid for. Most sites will probably use a bitcoin payment processor too.

How will they verify your age if they adopt bitcoin as the payment system? Most legitimate sites out there won't let you get access to their stuffs without verifying that part to prevent getting their licence getting banned! Wink

BTW, why do you worry about paying through credit card?  They won't disclose your personal information Smiley
They won't reveal your information but someone in your family might see the bill and ask "Why there's a bill from a porn site" Which is no fun at all  Tongue
And sorry to say this but nowadays kids are smarter than you thought, they can always bypass the age verification Roll Eyes
