1482  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Looking for some feedback regarding bitcoin debit card WageCan on: November 29, 2015, 10:23:52 AM
I have one of their virtual debit cards. It works great, it just takes some time for the card to activate and the balance on the website does not update very frequently.
Is it safe to verify your paypal with their virtual cards?
Im searching a virtual cards that can verify paypal without getting limited paypal Sad
1483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One Bitcoin on: November 29, 2015, 10:21:28 AM
Thanks for all the help so far guys. I plan just to keep my bitcoin for a year at least and see how things are then. Would i be better off moving to a paper wallet or just keep it in electrum.
Wallet paper is really good too if you want more security, just be careful not to lose them or forgot to put them somewhere Tongue
It actually happened to my friend once and he's still searching for that piece of paper even today Roll Eyes

ya, with my member status, i have no chance. my old account was hero member, jdh015232, until it got hacked.
i will be out of the industry for a good long time

Well, your potential activity is 168.
You can become a full member in no time, and earn back a part of the coins you lost.

i wish their was a way for theymos to combine my old activity from jdh015232 into this account, i tried to get my old account back after the hack, but i know it is hard on your end as their is no way to really do it and i could not verify the BTC address that i had back then. but if that were the case  i could have a shot at reecouping some losses

theymos can and has done that in the past. See here for details on recovering your account: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0

You can get it back by pming theymos with the relevant details but it looks like your other account was a scammer account: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=168706

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=462118.0

Seems a few accounts were giving fake vouches to a scammer and a couple claimed they were hacked.

it was not a scammer account, i got hacked, and the last few post from the guy he may have tried to scam someone. also, he hacked my account to get my NEM stake, which i told the NEM guys when it happened, and they reported my old account as a scam account so nobody else would fall for him.    originally i used that account for a million differant things. to first learn about bitcoin and altcoins

Well I can only go by what I see and your word really so can't comment further on whether you're telling the truth or not but people have often used the excuse of being hacked in the past after a failed scam attempt (though accounts being hacked to try scam from isn't impossible either).

hey guys, theymos and i worked it out, and i got my old account back!!! thanks for your help, i am very grateful. so i see funds have not moved still..i will be watching closely. what is the best way to tell if it is an exchange address?
If that address held a bunch of coins from hundreds of addresses then it might be the exchange address
Because many people deposited their coins to that address
or the easiest way, contact the exchange and ask for list of their address Wink
1486  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Steam Account To Sell! on: November 28, 2015, 05:16:13 PM
You won't make that much money from steam account Roll Eyes
Most people here only interested on the csgo ranks
So, what's your csgo rank ?
Wink
I don't need much money though just a price I wish it could LOL. Honestly, I don't really care about the rank, all I have to do with CSGO is playing it to earn some Hyper
So you are unranked ?
maybe if you tell us your rank people could offer a higher price for your account
Because like i said before, people only interested on csgo ranks Wink
1487  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: 5M wallets created on Blockchain on: November 28, 2015, 05:08:16 PM
Blockchain.info is the safest web wallet you can use. It is perfectly secure if you enable your 2FA security feature. I have been using it since ever and never had any troubles.
You are just lucky Wink
Mine was hacked even with 2FA enabled and the hacker stole $5 from me
so yeah, blockchain is not secure at all, use desktop or hardware then talk to me about the security Grin
oh wow i guess i will have to move away from blockchain wallets then though i dont know any other safe wallets
For desktop wallet try to use electrum or if you got some money to spare go for trezor hardware wallet
good luck securing your coins Wink

1492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a waste of time mentioning Bitcoin to friends and family? on: November 28, 2015, 02:41:39 PM
My dad gotten into bitcoin lately after i mentioned it to him. He seemed pretty interested Smiley
How hard do you try to getting him into bitcoin?
I don't even bother to recommend bitcoins to my family, they are tech impaired person

1493  Economy / Goods / Re: selling something in bitcoin,, help needed on: November 28, 2015, 02:23:42 PM
ok, im sorry for laughing
Ok back to topic, this is the first time i heard a market for human testicles
I know skin can be used for good thing, livers, hearts, brains all can be useful and be sold very expansively
But testicles, this is the first time i heard of it
But i don't think any one would buy another pair of testicles with bitcoin Tongue
try to contact your local hospital they might need one and pay you for yours
1494  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How many people were scammed on Bitcoin Black Friday? on: November 28, 2015, 01:28:20 PM
How much did you lost?

hory 21BTC? daym, i can't believe so many have been fooled..
Well its because we are pretty much unaware he is going to be a scam
Come on, he was promoting the website all around the forum with his signature campaign and social campaign, who would've thought that he is going to turn into a scam?
I didn't buy anything luckily but all of the sig campaign participants didn't receive their last payment so that's a lost also Sad
1495  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcoinblackfriday.info - Do NOT use their website. on: November 28, 2015, 01:02:36 PM
that is the issue, i dont think exchanges care/and or have the extra ppl/resources to have somebody ready to help in all of these situations. however i do know alot of exchanges check on these forums, maybe somebody high up like theymos could contact a few of the major exchanges as we watch the coins move.
Well time is ticking, we will lose the coins if we don't act quickly Roll Eyes
I agree that watching all of the transactions made can be a bit tedious especially on major exchanges, but i think they can do it if they wanted to Wink
1496  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcoinblackfriday.info - Do NOT use their website. on: November 28, 2015, 12:54:48 PM
coins on the move

it would be nice for some protocol, if we could get with exchanges to watch as we follow the transfer of coins, and for exchanges to work with the public in situations like this. that could help create some more trust in the system.

1ES58ejNFRDjFvdLB9nZKZNeQFea4zgBhD to 1J4jAy3HDteKqJqsz3tZUrahkSWAqDpQNZ 4.9BTC
We can do that by contacting the exchange and tell them to hold the fund if they received any coins from the his address
I believe he will use a major exchange like bitfinex, ecoin.etc
We can get the coins back if we work quickly
Anyone here can contact the exchange?
1497  Economy / Lending / Re: EVERYONE GETS LOAN - Negative trust members are welcomed :) on: November 28, 2015, 12:47:16 PM
Have a PM
You can't even spend a few seconds to read OP thorougly Tongue
It's said you need at least 70 activity while you have only 16
1498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guns from the Paris Attacks, bought using Bitcoin ? on: November 28, 2015, 12:32:47 PM
there is no proof they bought those AKs using bitcoin
I bet they bought it using fiat
If they bought it using bitcoin we would see a really huge transactions few days before the attacks and we would notice it in blockchain right away
1499  Economy / Digital goods / Re: How will i get my account verified by facebook(blue tick on: November 28, 2015, 12:15:48 PM
I believe this would be better suited for beginners and help board. Not digital goods.
No, this section is actually fine for this question

@OP
Why do you need the blue tick ?
Facebook will give you the blue tick if you have a good reason why you should be verified member

Ah really? I apologize then OP.
And he may like to have it for a service of his? Maybe he runs a business or something. Although that's a gray tick. Blue ticks are for famous people only.
Well, the newbie section are made for people whose new to this forum and has a question about the forum Wink

Exactly why im asking this, blue ticks are for people who is famous around the world/ internet
While blue ticks are for business, agencies.etc
