1941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How my lack of knowledge has blinded me so far on: March 22, 2023, 09:55:26 PM
There are people like me who dislike KYC verification requirements from online casinos, and I always have two complaints about it.

1. Why the need for KYC.

2. Why pretend they won't ask for KYC, but ask for verification after a big win.
Any gambler is suppose to be aware of KYC or rather expect it. Besides it is for the gamblers good as it helps to dictate scammer and anti money laundrers. And also to identify and verify their customers, understanding the nature and purpose of customers relations and any suspicions transactions will be dictated easily.
If there is no KYCrequirement, or any form verifications, many people will not be interested in gambling site because many people must have been scammed and left the site and give the site a bad name that will discourage many others.
I think there is need for KYC.
In todays years on which it is really that becoming a standard that most platforms would really potentially ask out some KYC or verification on the time that you had done something or do really looks

suspicious on which its not really that shocking anymore considering that most of these platforms are licensed and regulated. If you havent done something wrong then i dont really see this as an issue.
There are really just those people who are really that allergic when it comes to kyc which i couldnt blame of but we know that we arent been asked on the time we do register
which it is really still that good to deal up with them for now.
1942  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dare to take such gamble? on: March 21, 2023, 11:51:03 PM
That guy is just doing it to make a trend and make himself popular. I really, really doubt bitcoin reaches $1 million in 90 days. If only I have a lot of bitcoins, I will take the bet although that guy is most likely not going to respond. Bitcoin is now worth $544 billion and if ever a single bitcoin reaches $1 million, the whole market capitalization would be around $20 trillion. I even doubt a single bitcoin reaches a price of $1 million in 2025 which is the usual time a heavy bull run happens. I would love to see bitcoin reach a million dollars but I am more realistic in my assumptions.
Lets just all be realistic because it would really just annoy or disappoint you if you do make yourself get in line with Balaji in trying out to tell that Bitcoins price would reach up $1M per coin which it is really that impossible. People are really just easily get dragged with the hype if there's someone do make out some claims about particular price points without even trying to check on what the overall total market capitalization if
ever the price would hit up even on $500k. I cant imagine or cant really be that possible on reaching out a million. Not to be sour but lets just that realistic so that you wont really be that
getting disappointed after 90 days.  Cool
This is the same on the time that McAfee did predict about a million per btc but later on he did said about that prediction as nonsense.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/john-mcafee-calls-his-own-1m-bitcoin-price-prediction-nonsense
So this one is an another claim about reaching this price point and lots of people been saying that this would be a 2.0 on what John had said on those old years.
1943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: March 21, 2023, 10:28:09 PM
It is difficult to predict exactly the future of any cryptocurrency, including altcoins like ETH, ADA, XRP and TRON. However, if you look at developments, it seems that altcoins like ETH and TRON are not going to die.
Just because it does have its usecase which we know that it is really that applicable into those typical services or whatsoever that could benefit out humanity which it is really that hard to believe that it would be phased out or something that would really be ceasing to exist. Its true that we cant know on what the future looks like which it would be understandable that its up to someones risk taking
whether they would be investing for long term or would not. This is why it would be better to find for yourself on what are the actions you would be making on.
Altcoins arent dead and they do have that application which is really having that usefulness to people.
1944  Economy / Economics / Re: Benefit from Higher Education? on: March 21, 2023, 08:59:37 PM
Ah, the perpetual quandary: is top-tier schooling indispensable for entrepreneurial prosperity? Positively, my valued associate, it's a coin with two faces! On one side, acquiring proficiency in commerce tactics, fiscal acumen, and advertising can create a robust framework for establishing and cultivating a business. However, a plethora of triumphant entrepreneurs never attended higher learning institutions!

Time for a reality check. As we advance towards an economy driven by bitcoin and virtual tokens, it's imperative to remember that the guidelines are ceaselessly transforming. What will the future bring? Imagine a world in 10 years where we navigate through the skies in airborne cars and exchange wares using teleportation mechanisms!

You have already delved into fantasy, but in order to own these advantages of progress, we will need money, and this is a distant topic from education. Entrepreneurship will simply become different, and those who can better adapt to it will benefit from it, and not those with better education. In the future, perhaps even education will be different, in a different form, and most likely according to a different program.
Yes, we do see some people do really upgrade and become successful when it comes to entrepreneurship but we know that not all would really be successful into that path which means we arent all good

marketers or something like that. This is why it would really be still that important on having that higher education or simply finished up a degree on making yourself not only open to job opportunities but also you could acquire knowledge which would really be helpful on whatever you would really be doing. Its really totally different for those people who do have some educational background
compared to those who had none but of course we cant really generalize all since learning could be acquired so easily nowadays.
1945  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Starting now. on: March 21, 2023, 07:56:04 PM
I had a different thread on how to start on Bitcoin and had so many useful and helpful knowledge given to me at that thread. I just wanna say thanks to all those who replied to my post. And also, yes, I will be starting to do trading on cryptocurrencies. With that being said, I also want to take this opportunity to ask, what would be the best cryptowallet to use at this time?
For non custodial wallet for Bitcoin: Electrum
For long term holding: Ledge or Trezor
For Multi-coins/token: Trustwallet or Metamask

Just remember on not to store up huge amounts of coins/tokens on an exchange wallet. Its never been ideal on doing so
considering that it is really that prone to some possible issues or events which would cause on losing
up your money.
1946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: March 17, 2023, 10:51:48 PM

40% is still a big number so I agree that Santiago is somehow have a KO punch.  He may not be as heavy hitter like Inoue, I agree that a well timed loaded punch on weak parts can KO any boxer. and besides, boxing isn't won only by KO or stoppage.  If Santiago can produce quality volume punches, I think there is a huge possibility for Donaire to lose especially if Donaire try to 1 punch KO his opponent and failed to do so.

There are fights where Donaire admit that he wanted to 1 punch KO his opponent and failed resulting in a lost.  So if that same thing happen on the upcoming fight, there is even more possibility that Donaire will probably lose .
Yes, 40% is indeed high and this is why he should really be that still careful or wouldn't really be that confident even he knows that he's on edge on knockout percentage
which is sitting around KOs   57.14% based up on stats which means that when it comes to power he has the edge but the difference isnt that too far gapped.
This is why its really that foolish if you do presume out that you would really be taking this fight lightly.
1947  Economy / Speculation / Re: what If Bitcoin Price never comes up on: March 17, 2023, 09:42:58 PM
Of course this will never happen because the concept of bitcoin is decentralization which makes the price depend on the market situation, if we want to store assets with a fixed value then we can use stable coins, the number of users who continue to increase makes the demand continue to increase and when investors feel profit then they selling and keeping prices down.
If it wasnt volatile then interest of the community or people would really be no more on which they would really be going into places on which they could really be able to make money out of
those movements. This is why prices could really move up and down basing or depending on the market demand in between buyers and sellers. This is why its inevitable
for its price to move as long people or the community would be supporting it.This is why it is really that wise on making yourself knowledgeable
to go with the flow and be smart on doing it.
1948  Other / Off-topic / Re: A burden I bear within. on: March 16, 2023, 11:15:47 PM
But the emphasis here is my fear on how to approach them and engage them in the discussion that their attention would be deeply captured to give me a listening ears to what I have in mind since we're currently not in good talking terms due the family issues on ground.
What do you guys propose I do or how to go about it!. Or should I just look the other way!
We do appreciate on being kind and consideration on your half brothers situation in terms of living on which sharing up opportunity and not leaving them behind or minding your own self which would be mostly the case of most people and even myself would really be doing such.It is really that on how you would really be approaching on them, despite of the erring because of family issues then it would
be better if it would be casting aside and would focus out on how you would make things a bit better in terms of income or other sources which you could really benefit.
For those who do boast and stood with their pride then leave them but to those who do show up some interest then let them learn.
1949  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You Learn More from Losses than from Wins on: March 16, 2023, 09:56:04 PM

Losses provide learning how not to fall for the same mistake. The more real practice in trading, the less losses you can get. But with a note that you have to be able to do the analysis correctly and carry out a good trading strategy. The predictions that are expected sometimes will not go according to plan, however, that is a risk that cannot be avoided.
To be able to handle some of the losses that could occur, Plan A and Plan B must be determined, so that no losses continue.

Yes, there are no victories without losses. However, you must agree that the size of losses varies. And it often takes a pretty strong psyche and the opportunity to gain additional knowledge to keep going. Sometimes people lose everything all at once.
You are right on which there are people who do easily breaks down on the time they do experience losses and not only losing up money but also their morale and overall dedication which is really that bad.

You wouldn't see any progress into yourself on getting better if you do have this kind of mindset on which you do easily give up when you've been thrown up with some challenges in life.

This isnt only pertained about on businesses, investment, gambling or whatever but also in real life situations where self learning out of those mistakes are
really that important.
1950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: March 16, 2023, 08:47:59 PM

^ Alejandro Santiago does not have a KO punch though which Donaire could really win despite him being older.

The one thing that's good about retiring while being a champ is that he is going to be remembered being a champ while if he retires while being beaten badly inside the ring, he will be remembered with his bloody face.
If we do tend to look up Santiagos record;
Out of 27 wins he does have 17 KO which is 40%
https://boxrec.com/en/box-pro/637333

We cant really say that he wont really be having that KO punch since we know that if this one isnt a heavy hitter but doesnt mean that a solid precise punch couldnt really put up
some serious damage which would result into KO.Therefore, getting that confident is never been that a good idea.
1951  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and education on: March 15, 2023, 11:47:27 PM
If I had to choose, I would say that education should come first in that difficult question. Every parent wants the best for their children, and when you achieve it, money will come along. You can use the right training and abilities to launch a successful business or get a respectable employment. I agree that money can buy anything, but that happiness only lasts for a short time and cannot be carried into the afterlife. In contrast, education is priceless and something you can pass on to your loved ones, children, and friends.
Having education would really be giving you a good foundation in speaking about knowledge and awareness of things, although it cant assure out on having a good future since getting a job wont really be

that simple but you are really that having the advantage since you do know on what you should gonna do.Ideas and knowledge on each one of us would really be on different levels.
Once you do able to make yourself get involved in some things that generate income or money then this is where you would be sticking on.
Somehow there are uneducated fellas who do find themselves on getting rich but of course this isnt applicable or possible to everyone.
1952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project's Price after got exploited on: March 15, 2023, 10:59:24 PM
I have this token for two years now but it got me surprised today that it was exploited and got dumped to the ground by the hacker. The Poolz finance team announced that they will already taken action on the situation, halted the CEX trading, remove the remaining liquidity on DEX and flagged the hacker's address on explorer. Importantly they promised to fund the liquidity back of the exact amount  that the hacker stole. Now my question is, will the price will be back after they replenish the liquidity back on DEX and resume the CEX trading? The price was $4 before the exploit happen.

Hack announcement: https://twitter.com/Poolz__/status/1635900571512197120
No one knows, unless if there would be some buyback come from the team then it would possibly be able to get things in line back again but basing up on the amount affected then its better not to expect that much because when it comes to exploit and hacks then this is usually bring up the demise or disaster fully on a project. It is really not assured that things would go well afterwards.
It would be depending if they had successfuly hold off those hackers sell off and the account on CEX, but if not then its over it cant be that too easy
on making things back in track.
1953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $4 billion lost in total from DeFi Exploits so far. Guesses for 2023? on: March 15, 2023, 10:16:44 PM
The reason they get hacked is because its new technology and full of bugs. Hence why there is usually a "bug bounty" for many projects where the hacker can just legally get paid for his "bug finding" rather than exploit the bug and take 100% of the assets.

Hence why you shouldn't keep large amounts on anything Defi related. Keep it cold storage and when you want to actually trade, then send the funds and when you are done send them right back. Keep everything in Ethereum COLD storage.
But we know that these back testing are done by the team itself and not on some launching some bug bounty or some sort which it would really be ending up on having that huge risks of exploits on the

time that they would really be opening their doors. They'll soon realize about the bug but its already too late and the damage has been done. Speaking about exploits not only limited on DeFi
then its not really that something new.We know that this place is a honeypot for scammers, hackers, swindlers and other similar fellas who does have those
kind of intents. This is why its something inevitable where losing huge funds in relation is really that common.
1954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Is for the strong. on: March 15, 2023, 09:34:10 PM
And only when we lose do we begin to appreciate. Your friend should stop gambling if he loses large sums on a regular basis this may end badly for him as he will try to win back all the lost money and as we do it will not end well. Better to stop in time and get a good lesson.it is better to start saving money for the future and then he will decide for himself how to use it.
People dont usually hear up others opinion and advises no matter how close you are with your friend on which he would really be doing on what are the things on his mind no matter what.
Its none of your business on what he would gonna do with his money.

The important thing is that he do enjoy on what he's doing but we know that too much engagement and involvement with gambling could really be ending up on a disaster.
You would be making yourself get fall into the pit of addiction and would hardly be able to get out once you do shackled from it.
1955  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe to buy now? on: March 14, 2023, 11:43:39 PM
in my opinion due to the US bank situation which collapsed a while ago people withdrew their money and put it on other markets like crypto, maybe that's what caused the crypto marketcap to rise more than 20% in just 4 days.
but we don't know whether this increase will continue or only last a few days.
Could say that it would really be that temporal, we dont even know that if its really that those people who put up their funds is directly on crypto or just simply those whales do make out those moves.

We cant really be making out those conclusions but to assume then it is likely considering those fundamentals around  then it is likely to be on that way.For now which the problems isnt solved that
yet or the issues arent that over then for sure it would be staying up a while but pulling out those funds would be likely to happen which its not really that shocking
considering this market is really that unpredictable.
1956  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this what awaits us? on: March 14, 2023, 10:47:52 PM

I have to admit part of me saying YES!

But it would be too good to be true.  It's good to be a BTC holder in our time. It is however going to be a mess when something happens in the future back when gold was the most valued asset and then government suddenly bans it and confiscates gold from the people. Before this will happen then most probably the government also will try to confiscate BTC from us.
Then how they would be able to confiscate Bitcoin from us? This is where government had been trying to do when BItcoin or crypto market does give out that significant attention and popularity but
they do ends up on getting failed due to the fact that it isnt something that could be controlled over or there's no way for it to be confiscated due to anonymous feature or being simply decentralized.
About its price, anything could happen and since we dont know on what the future brings then for those who could really hold of their holdings no matter what then we arent sure
on what are the numbers ahead.
1957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which kind of situation will force you to sell? on: March 14, 2023, 09:42:13 PM
the only thing that makes an investor sell his coin are healthcare issues,  as a human we are we don't have to be uncharitable to ourselves because we all have only one life to live despite we all need money

Not just health care issues, if Bitcoin jumps by 1000% or more at this moment, some holders may be tempted to sell part of their holdings, hoping to buy back should the price drop again.
Majority would be on health care issues on which on someone doesnt really have any choice but to sell out some part of their holdings.Yes,its true that this would really be giving out some bad feeling
since you had failed on holding strong with your assets but there are situations in life which would leaving up no choice but to sell it out in outmost need.

Dont feel bad because those money converted is for the sake of better good or helping out yourself in times of need.Come to think that you are saving up for such situation
which i dont see the point for you to have those regrets. You could anytime patch it up on what you had deducted.
1958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A costly gambling mistake on: March 13, 2023, 11:24:50 PM
The most popular mistake that newbies make with online casinos is avoiding the rules and regulations, not all online casinos will put up a warning sign on their first page and say 👇

"New users are welcome, please read our rules and regulation before making your first deposits"

You have to look for the website FAQ and go through it first, I have seen some newbies that avoid doing this has they ended up shooting themselves in the foot.

Some even start spreading FUD on the forum about these gambling platforms that did them wrong, not knowing that they are the ones at fault, they are guilty because they don't read the rules and regulations.
If its your first time then it would really be ending up on a costly mistake but if it turns out that you have done gambling for some time and still missing out on reading up TOS but havent didnt still face up some issues then you are in luck because issues and violations could be thrown up easily on you. This is why its really that important that you should really avoid any violations so that you wont really be ending up on having those funds locked.

Well, people do learn up lessons on unfortunate ways or conditions and not the realistic way on approaching on risky things.
1959  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin go back to 19000 on: March 13, 2023, 10:15:57 PM
For almost a long time, BTC has been determined to start a bullish movement. But while various news outlets tried to delay this, yesterday's massive pumping of the BTC price proved it's strength. This was a great opportunity for those who bought BTC at $20k. However, this price may soon exceed $25k and may quickly move to $30k or more. So there will be no chance to look back now. For those who are still waiting for the dip, it may not catch on this season.
I hope bitcoin really surpass the 25,000$ mark and reach 30,000$ or more sooner as possible. However, for now I've already guaranteed my sale position on 24,000$, so I can make some profit that will be necessary soon. If I decided to wait for 25,000$, I could end not seeing it, quite the opposite, I could see btc down to 20,000$ again or less, while holding tons of bills on my hands, without funds to pay them. It's never an easy decision to sell bitcoin, but sometimes daily expenses impose this condition on us.

Anyway, the resistance level above 24,000$ still look pretty strong... As soon as the price enters this zone it just freezes.
We've been trying out to break that roof but there's no success but now we are back on $24k price which we are trying out to break that ceiling once again. We know that once this price would really

having some breakout then for sure it would really be rallying out on going on 30k.Although we shouldn't really be in a hurry considering that price could still go back and forth after hitting some particular levels. We've seen the price didnt drop that much as low as $19k which means that there's a strong support on 20k which cant really be easily broken.

For those who do able to buyback with those levels then they are making profits as of this moment.
