1942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good time to start accepting BTC? on: July 22, 2022, 01:28:36 AM
If you can handle the price fluctuation in the market then you can definitely start accepting bitcoin. Remember that the value of these currencies can fluctuate frequently and badly.
Thats true. Its a must to know the risk of accepting Bitcoin because it is high volatile. But if you're a crypto enthusiast and believing of its potential then you can start accepting regardless of the price.

Currently the price is low, a good time to accumulate. Therefore accepting Bitcoin for your business/service is an advantage because the price has a high chance to increase in the future. Thus if you're prepared for the worse case and willing to wait just incase the value turn downward then you can do it.
1943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I doing the right thing on: July 21, 2022, 03:41:06 AM
Investing in crypto is risky especially if you're going to invest in new coins. Chances to earn huge is high but its hard to find new coins that likely to be a big thing in the future. Thats why some investors prefer the old coins because they are already existing for years and manage to survived the bearish season.

Now cryptocurrency market continue to rise but it is hard to say how long the rise of the market will continue.
The rise of the marekt attracts a lot of people and now many people are hoping that the rise will continue.
We cant expect the market to move in just one direction. There's a recovery in the past few days but currently the market is turning downward again. Just shows bearish season is not over yet.
1944  Economy / Economics / Re: Avoid loan apps, a word of advice. on: July 21, 2022, 02:49:58 AM
I remember a toxic experience back then when my uncle used my name and contact information, without my consent, and put me as his referral and as a guarantor. Obviously, when these people called me in order to settle the loan, I declined and told them that this was taken without any of my consent. Unfortunately, they proceeded to call the other referrals (which was my family members) in order to settle the loan that my uncle got.
I have the same experience when one of my friend take a loan and unable to pay because she lost her job. All of her contacts received a message informing us that my friend didnt pay her loan and as one of the guarantor I need to convince my friend to pay or else I will shoulder the payment. Well, I didnt mind it since I didnt sign and give permission to become a guarantor plus its not something new here.

Loan apps are one of the easy ways to take a loan but it has a high interest and you should know the consequences for borrowing money. Be a responsible debtor and pay on time if you dont want to have headaches, or much better not to take loan especially if its not an urgent matter.
1945  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: July 21, 2022, 01:49:11 AM

1947  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason why I put all my money in Bitcoin as a newbie on: July 20, 2022, 06:54:28 AM
Well the trust in Bitcoin as an alternative currency and Bitcoin as a store of value, is why some Bitcoin enthusiasms make Bitcoin their sole currency and never look at the other coins in the market. But then one needs to make adequate provision against a rainy day by diversifying the portfolio and investing in some stablecoins that have the possibility of making good profits in the future.
Actually its not surprising if many investors chose Bitcoin as their main crypto investment and afraid to diversify especially during bearish season. Its because Bitcoin is proven to be reliable compared to other altcoins that has a possibility to lose their value. Thats why if the particular investor decided to stick to Bitcoin and not considering to diversify their portfolio, we cant blame them since its hard to take risk in alts (though some of these coins are also worth to invest in).
1948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: July 20, 2022, 01:35:57 AM
When someone wants to stop their addiction to gambling, apart from the environment, they must also forget about people who can make them return to gambling because it will seem futile if they move to a new environment but still hang out with people who are still gambling.
If you change environment to stop the gambling addiction it is necessary to find a safe place where you can totally stop the habit. Not only the surroundings but the people around that you'll encounter must be people that will help you to change and not a gambler too who will tempt you to play again. It will really become futile if there are still gamblers around even you change place.
1949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Share Your Winnings Story. Why do people gamble? on: July 20, 2022, 01:08:34 AM
Why do people play in casinos? For the sake of adrenaline? Self-satisfaction?
Some people are playing to entertain themselves while others are playing to win, though its hard. The thinking that you might hit a jackpot if you gamble is one of the reason why some people keep playing and its not only because of self satisfaction. So regardless of your reason on why you chose to be a gambler, what matter is you can control yourself and aware of the consequences if you gamble.

Anyway I only experience to win a decent amount in keno lottery, its been few years already and its a great experience because its pure luck.
1950  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The right time to invest on: July 19, 2022, 07:28:34 AM
As a newbie one finds it difficult to know the right time to invest. I really want to know if I can actually invest into Bitcoin at this moment.
The right time to invest is when the price is in dip. We're still in bearish market so its still a good timing to fill your bags. But before that ask yourself first, are you ready to invest in crypto? Did you take time gaining knowledge before investing your hard-earned money? Lastly are you prepared for the risk associated when you invest? Because you know there's no 100% guarantee to gain thus its best to have less expectation.
1951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion] Should Gambling be Banned? on: July 19, 2022, 07:00:09 AM
No. Gambling can be good or bad influence for the gambler depending on how each of us play. The gambler itself is the one responsible if ever he become addicted for not controlling himself. Too much playing is not healthy but banning is not a solution for this since not all gamblers are turning into worse version of themselves as an effect of gambling in their lives. Its just depends on the gamblers on how they will deal with it.

In my country actors who promote gambling sites are responsible for deaths happening with the users below the age of 18 years.
As I have said its not because of gambling or the people who advertise the casino. Because you'll never be into a situation that you cant handle if from the start you refrain from playing or somehow limit yourself. So there's no one to blame here but the gambler itself because we are free to do what we want in our lives.
1952  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 19, 2022, 04:57:12 AM
For the record, I have never submitted any form of identification to Roobet aside from the tier 1 identification which doesnt involve submitting anything aside from filling information on the site. Im not sure if this is going to affect me in any way because I havent try to withdraw yet
Thats weird. The verification is for level 2, and i dont think the level 1 kyc has expiration. Maybe this is an error since you said that you only comply on the needed information for level 1. Did you check your account verification level, what does it says? Anyway I dont think it will affect your account unless it is stated as compulsory. Ask the chat support for clarification.

@aralimuss there’re two possibilities here according to their AML policy 1) this is a random check being done to ensure your details match with what you entered the first time, second possibility is that they have encountered a discrepancy or feel that something is not right either way you can fill it or you won’t be able to withdraw.  @lienfaye their AML policy clearly states that without submitting level one KYC one can’t withdraw, and that’s why I keep telling people to read about a casino kyc policy before you play there.
Yes I know that. I already comply for level 1 kyc a year ago and I believe it has no expiration. The question of arallmuus is the identity verification which is level 2. His question is why he received the notification of expired verification since he didnt apply for identity verification aside from the level 1 kyc.

Moreover even you didnt comply for level 2 you can still play and withdraw without problem, this is based on my experience.
1953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How are your shitcoins? on: July 18, 2022, 07:26:31 AM
Currently only holding ethereum and Solana next to BTC. Don't know if these are considered shitcoins on this board Grin
Ethereum I expected to grow because of the merge and my hunch seems to be paying off.
Solana is doing nice aswell...  Smiley
I also have these coins in my portfolio and I never considered ETH and Solana as shitcoins. ETH gave me profit for holding it for long and I had the chance to sell during peaked price. On the other side I see potential in Solana and believing it will be a big thing in the future. Thus I think these coins cant be called shitcoins unlike meme coins who dont have real use case.
1954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto question! on: July 18, 2022, 06:49:32 AM
what coin should I buy and has anyone got any discord/telegram chats to join for these topics?
Bitcoin is the most reliable coin to buy this time. Less risky compared to investing in altcoins. But if you want to diversify and not contented in just one coin, you can look for other alts that are already establish, just be careful.

Anyway, you dont need to look for other crypto related groups for similar topic. This forum is already full of information that you need about crypto. Just use the search button to get the answers of what you're looking for.
1955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale Betting Strategy on BlackJack, how effective it is? on: July 18, 2022, 03:20:43 AM
How about you what is your thought on Martingale betting strategy used on blackjack? Is it effective for this type of game?
For me I dont see any difference in using martingale strategy on Blackjack or any other games. However there's an advantage if you're playing a game that is not only relying on luck, in short skills and strategy has a participation in order to maximize your chance to win. Its a risky strategy but can bring profit if the player has a huge bankroll and can bear losses even consistently. Because you cant tell how much money you need to spend first before winning the game.
1956  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io - 🔥 up to 20% cashback 🔥 up to 20% rakeback 🚨 on: July 18, 2022, 01:14:55 AM
Why do you think those inactive user will come online again just to participate on review campaigns? It means they have active account here that already participate on the campaign or someone point our to him for a sole purpose of earning.
You have a point, its really possible to happen especially the rewards are quite good for higher rank. Everyone has a chance to participate as long as they meet the requirements (deposit, wagering, withdrawal) but what if this specific user already participated and use his inactive account to take advantage the review campaign? There's no minimum deposit so its easy to create another livecasino account especially the site is not asking kyc for their new users. Hence there should be rule for the activeness of the account, weeks or a month will do. But few months or years? I doubt it.
1957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Its One Too Many on: July 17, 2022, 07:41:25 AM
Pretty ironic to call them "well reputable" if they cannot solve a single thing that will ruin their reputation. For me, if they are not trying to solve it, meaning they are neglecting their obligation to their players which is to be fair, it could happen to anybody, therefore I would not trust that certain gambling site anymore.

There's a plenty of gambling sites out there, so I'm gonna try them all and find something that really cares about their players.
I agree. You cant really call a casino as reputable and trusted if there's a valid existing complaint towards them and they're not resolving it. One of the reason is its a huge amount and can probably hurt their business if they let the player to withraw his/her winnings. I've seen similar issue before to a particular casino (I will not name it) the money involve is also huge and the player cant withdraw for a reason. But this specific casino address the issue and resolved it immediately. Thats how they supposed to deal with it if the accusation is valid and its just shows how trusted the casino is.
1958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An alternative to gambling with money. on: July 17, 2022, 03:51:34 AM
I also don't think any professional gambler would waste their time here for only entertainment. I also think that this cann't call as gambling it can be called as game
It might not work for everyone especially to those professional gamblers who are playing to earn. This kind of app that doesnt involve money at all is only ideal for players who wants to refrain themselves to gamble but still want to have fun. It cant be as exciting as what people assume it can be (unlike if you're playing using real money) but it can somehow help the gamblers who are having a hard time to control themselves.

1960  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: July 17, 2022, 01:04:31 AM
I am sure they are planning on something for sure. They did 2 rounds of NFT and that required a ton of work and marketing to pull off. Sure the first one was during NFT rush period, but second one was during the bear period, which required a lot of marketing. So we are all aware of the talent they have on marketing and getting popular. This means, if they could do it, and if they gathered so much money from the NFT, they must be working on something. With that kind of talent and that kind of money, if they do a new development update on the website, they are going to definitely get a lot more famous than they ought to, and we will see it live.
Their second sale was also successful despite some problems in the first with Dutch auction scheme but they have manged to complete the two rounds of NFT sale. There might be some new updates in the coming days from them to surprise the gamblers as they have in the previous days so till then bet normally.
Its been a month since their last announcement on Discord. So im thinking they might be cooking something big again like what they often do. Playing as usual is what we can do while waiting for the team on something new that they will announce for the Rollbit gamblers.
