1961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: November 02, 2014, 04:38:28 AM
I'm not feeling wealthy or elite.
Oh you will... Just wait. In a decade or two you may be a millionaire.
Or maybe an altcoin will overtake Bitcoin. We just have to wait.
1962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Video: OpenBazaar developer meeting - Team intros, discussing 3.0 & 4.0 on: November 02, 2014, 04:34:48 AM
Heh, I haven't updated my 1.0 store. I even managed to sell something for $1. Ah well. I'll boot it back up when that $1 hits $10000. Smiley
1963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MOTO] Motocoin on: November 02, 2014, 12:28:55 AM
Hey guys,

I just made a pull request with a skins folder.

Just letting you guys know.
1964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MOTO] Motocoin on: November 01, 2014, 09:18:04 PM
Texturing is going extremely well so far!
I call this one "shrooms" Smiley

I just changed the .bmp from 24 bit to 32 bit.
Should I actually make this a skin?
1965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MOTO] Motocoin on: November 01, 2014, 09:47:13 AM
Ok guys, I'm going to put it on a Github repo. (is this a good idea?)

Yes, but I'd suggest just using a fork of motocoin-dev to ease merging your contributions back upstream.  Not a big deal if you don't, though.
Okay. How do I do that? (I'm new to GitHub)
Do I need to make a folder in /src /src/game called skins and then have folders in there with the names of the skins and the images in them? (I'll have a folder called default with the original images in it)

Then do I need to do a pull request?

Edits in bold

I'm bored so i'm going to try to make some skins. It'll be inspired by Minecraft. (The dirt and the grass)
If this becomes really big next year then we should make a Halloween skin.

It'll be here:

1967  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if Bitcoin Never increases in "Value"? on: October 31, 2014, 11:22:27 PM
I don't really care if it doesn't rise in value. As long as it doesn't drop in value I'm good.
If it goes down to $1 then I'll be sad, but then happy as I can buy more than 1 btc. Smiley

Wow, this coin looks great. I'm so sick and tired of those other coins that launch without an official website or anything. I wonder what this coin brings to the table. Proof-of-Play?

The coin should have been called percentage coin, because you know exactly how much percentage of the total coins you have.

Don't steal my idea. (Which I thought of a long time ago) Smiley

Ok good. Can the blocknet wallet store the shares?
Also,  do we get paid dividends only each year? Or more frequently?

Is there any news about the GPU miner development?  Huh
If I knew how to code I'd make one. But I can't. Maybe sometime in the future though.

1979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MOTO] Motocoin on: October 28, 2014, 07:24:03 AM
I say scrap the Motocoin project and come on over to the Huntercoin project.

We have more power together because as of right now both are kind of down.  Might be a good merger Tongue
It would be cool if we merged, only problem is that it takes ages to download your blockchain. (last time I checked)

But we could just get the wallet to download each blockchain separately and basically have 2 wallets in 1.

I think there's merit in having both (even though I only use Huntercoin personally).  Moto is actually different in spirit, in HMC's terms Moto is "proof-of-play" while Huntercoin is "human-minable".
Huntercoin is still proof-of-play because there is proof that you played the game in the blockchain. But it isn't the only thing keeping the blockchain afloat. (Miners)
