Very surprised about the Bittrex relisting. Congratulations!

Market Cap seems to be about 48M USD if my calculations are correct. Which puts AGRS at about rank 539 on Coinmarketcap.

Will be watching this coin closely.
Also, the OP might need to be updated. Its a bit confusing to read.

How do I no longer "be a newbie" because some members here won't accept PMs from 'newbies'...

You need to keep making posts and get your score up. I think there is a thread on here about it. There is a max score you can get per week or something like that though. I guess just look it up, I'm off to bed now sorry. Night.

I made so much money through this coin. When people were using the first bot I was using it on 2 pcs and raking it in damn. I wish I used more pc's. Then the second bot was made by someone and the forest one no longer worked. Then the coin just died. Before then it was fun to mine it and a very nice coin. Back then it was active. I came here since I saw people posting again here but I see the coin is still dead.

Guys try this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5161235.20
Yeah, this coin used to be so cool. I remember doing human mining myself. Actually even with bots it was still possible.

I actually made a youtube video of me finding a coin even when the bots had almost completely taken over the network. I think I was the only human miner.
Heres the video if anyone is interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCPHtSjqNI0
I got distracted at the end there lol, but I somehow still got to the coin before the bots could get to theirs.

Coinexchange.io is Closing Down
01/10/2019

It is with great regret that we must inform the community that the board of directors of CoinExchange.io has decided to close down the exchange.

This is purely a business decision and there has not been a security breach or any other type of incident. Unfortunately it is no longer economically viable for us to continue offering market services. The costs of providing the required level of security and support now outweigh our earnings.

Trading and deposits will be suspended on the 15th of October 2019. Please cease any deposit and trade activity as soon as possible.

The website and withdrawals will remain operational until the 1st of December 2019. We ask that you please remove all funds by this date.

It has been a fantastic journey and we have enjoyed playing a part in the crypto currency space. We thank everyone that has traded or listed a currency with us.

So sadly it is goodbye for now however we may return in the future if market conditions change.

Welp, better withdraw your GLT.

Motocoin got some love in this article by a major Blockchain Gaming site: https://blog.blockchaingaming.com/terminology/blockchain-gaming-human-mining/
Great article, thanks.

I should also tell you, to try to combat bots, a proof-of-work was added to map generation in a hardfork by HunterMinerCrafter.
This was because bots filter thousands of maps until one with a near straigh line to the coin is found.
With the added proof-of-work measure, it takes more cpu power to generate maps so bots wouldn't be able to filter through so many, however obviously the maps still generate too fast and the bots still win.
Maybe there could be a hard-fork in the future that increases the difficulty of this proof-of-work a bit more.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MOTO] Motocoin PROOF-of-PLAY [NEW BOT] Human Mineable -Play Game to Mine- 3yrs+ on: September 26, 2019, 01:33:35 AM
Hi there. I have got several questions about Motocoin.
1) I tried to press "Play to mine", but nothing happens. No window, no process, nothing. Is it normal? I replaced motogame.exe from original Motocoin wallet instead of bot. It didn't help either. Maybe it requires some special libraries or should I completely re-install my wallet? Replaced motogame.exe seems usable, but it doesn't launch from GUI anyway.
2) Is it possible to mine this currency, anyway? How many coins do you mine a week/a day?
3) Where is it possible to exchange Motocoin? Yobit doesn't allow to create a wallet, and Digitalprice seems dead.
The coin is pretty much dead. The "new developers" seem to be a pump group.
The motogame bot is supposed to launch from the wallet's GUI but it only appears as a new process, not as a GUI window..
You can't really human mine it anymore, and someone seems to have a bot that is much better than the current public bot so there isn't really much hope for mining.
Doesn't seem like there are any legit exchanges for motocoin either. Maybe you could try to do an OTC trade but I don't know who would have motocoins.

Maybe in the future I'll have a crack at trying to create a bot, but right now I only know C. Though C++ doesn't seem that large of a step up.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SpreadCoin | Decentralize Everything (decentralized blockexplorer coming) on: September 06, 2019, 02:03:49 AM
Sadly none of these nodes worked for me.

Does anyone has a more up-to-date list ?

addnode=5.35.253.206
addnode=94.23.23.194
addnode=52.17.253.8
addnode=37.59.18.108

Heres some I had in my .conf. No idea if they work though.

Not sure if anyone here is aware of this but there is still a glimmer of hope left for this project.

It's strange to see that difficulty on "dead for a year" coin.   Huh
For several months it was 0-2. Now it's 9+.  Huh
Yeah it seems to be just picking up now.

Anyone selling JHA (sweep) mining power?

Devs want $100 grand after using their majority vote power to vote POS

suss

btw that job is more like 0.5btc LOL
Yeah... I have been assuming most of the $100k went to the eventual switch to the "third way".

Is this incorrect?

It is also our first and key step towards our ultimate goal: Crown’s unique replacement for PoS and PoW, the Crown Consensus Mechanism (CCM).
Can't wait. This is going to be so good.

I stumbled into this article today: http://nicktasios.nl/posts/space-invaders-from-scratch-part-1.html

The motocoin game is coded in C++ and uses GLFW and GLEW. (and OpenGL)
I wonder if this guy would want to help update the game. Anyone want to contact him? (willoweb7? Smiley)

https://www.linkedin.com/in/nick-tasios-5796736b/
Wow, almost a coincidence that he is extremely interested in machine learning techniques and artificial intelligence.
We might actually have a chance here.

Edit: I just sent him a message. I'll see what he thinks.

Please, Let me know what did he answered to you? Can I have any contacts of him?
You can talk to him on linkedin.

Motocoin is a cryptocurrency utilizing an innovative proof-of-play scheme where coins can only be mined by cognitive workload - playing a 2D motorbike simulation game, which is different from Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies that use a proof-of-work scheme where miners must perform difficult computations and then use proof of that work to secure coin transactions and get their reward. Motocoin has been dominated by bots but now a fast, publicly available bot has been released, giving everyone a fair chance at mining.

[li]Blocks are generated on average every 60 seconds.[/li]

[li]Mining difficulty is adjusted every 2000 blocks through lowering the target time if blocks took less than an average of 60 seconds to generate, or raising the target time if blocks took longer than that.[/li]
[li]≈40 million coins are to be generated during the first 12 years and ≈200,000 coins per year after.[/li]

Hey e1ght, I'll talk in here Cheesy
I'm working on setting up a dev environment on a VPS and documenting how to get setup for submitting a pull request to the crown-core repo. We are about to open up the gitlab source code and start getting devs from the community to work on things they're interested in. I'm also working on the verbiage for the new roadmap milestones; trying to make sure everything is able to be understood by the non-technical folks in the room!

What have you been working on? Still in school?  Cool

-fin
Hey fin, That sounds really good.

I've been working with Chimaera, but I won't shill in this thread. Grin

I'm doing university now, studying Computer Science. Smiley
I've got two programming assignments due this friday. (C and Python)
In one assignment (C) we have to improve a frogger clone (microcontroller w/ a 16x8 LED matrix).
The other involves improving a tower defence game.
