1961  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: WTS Steam account worth $1,752.57 USD on: December 22, 2014, 12:04:34 PM
Aren't there ways to retrieve your account after the sale through Steam support?

They can easily verify the real owner since you have purchased so many games with a trustworthy source e.g. credit card/paypal.

1963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is it Possible to Solo Mine with Silverfish 28M Miners on: December 22, 2014, 11:59:00 AM
Oh I forgot to mention, the silverfish aren't connected directly to my pc. They have a wireless connection. Does this make any difference?

Yes, as the rpcallowip function needs to allow a device to connect to the wallet on the same network.
1964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is it Possible to Solo Mine with Silverfish 28M Miners on: December 22, 2014, 11:04:16 AM
This guide is mainly for windows however it can be slightly adjusted to be compatible with Mac and Linux Operating Systems.

Go to %appdata%/altcoin and create a text document called altcoin.conf

Inside the altcoin.conf file add the following lines.

Code:
rpcuser=miner1
rpcpassword=miner1password
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 //if you'll be mining on the same pc then this will be fine
rpcport=1234 //the rpc port number can be found on the specifications
daemon=1
server=1
gen=0

Save it and then open your altcoin wallet. Note: Your altcoin wallet must be open at all times while mining.

Open your miner and in the pool url type:

Code:
192.168.0.1:1234
or same port number

In the worker username type in the rpcuser

In the worker password type in the rpcpassword.

Then you can mine!

1965  Other / Off-topic / Re: Total Recieved 500,000+ BTC on: December 22, 2014, 10:06:13 AM
25374 transactions

25374 x 0.0001 (tx fee): 2.5374

They lost 2.5374 to Bitcoin transaction fees. Ouch.

How do you know they paid a fee for all their transactions?

If anybody can show me how to connect them to mine solo there's a 0.025 bounty. I know its not much, but I also know if its that hard. I'll just mine in a pool.

Please link me to the coin and miner software and I'll try to make a tutorial for you.
1967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is it Possible to Solo Mine with Silverfish 28M Miners on: December 22, 2014, 02:04:36 AM
There are many guides on the internet regarding solo mining.

You need to make a configuration file in your %appdata% (on windows) and then allow the ports to connect.

You then connect to 192.168.1.1:XXXX (port number here) and then mine.
1968  Other / Off-topic / Re: Total Recieved 500,000+ BTC on: December 22, 2014, 01:44:40 AM
You could also just keep sending coins around.

Send the coins out, then send them back in and watch the total received grow.

1971  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How much btc mined? on: December 22, 2014, 01:07:37 AM
I mined in 2010 Cheesy

Just wondering... How much BTC do you guys even hold/hodl?
Back in 2010 when the prices were to less, mining felt risky Tongue
I wish I could get in then.

Not that risky. Your CPU could've mined a block per hour Wink

Now that I look back, there's so much regret.

Wasting my life on other stuff when I could've been mining or investing in Bitcoins. Sad
1972  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any people gambling on Just-Dice? on: December 22, 2014, 12:57:24 AM
Wow, Just-Dice opened again!!!!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I just wanted to see if people here use just-dice a lot, even if it's CLAM only now.

The website design is very simple, I just would like to know, -if you do- why exactly do you gamble in Just-dice?

IMO, not many people are now using JD.

From https://just-dice.com/wagered.txt, you can see JD is now having a daily wagered of tens of thousands of CLAM (= a few hundred of BTC only). It is not a small amount, but is much lower than PD.

Months ago when JD was still online JD had 2 times more bets than PD, it was only because of the shutdown that everyone moved away.
1973  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is there a way to create a perfect hedge in sports betting? on: December 22, 2014, 12:50:28 AM
With all the prop bets, multiple, alternate and money line bets on sporting events. Would it be possible to create a perfect hedge? whereas you would create a situation through the use of the different types of bets that can be placed and  make it so regardless of the outcome you could make a profit?

The people who set up these sites hire mathematicians to make sure something like that doesn't happen. If you somehow find a loophole, then you're a genius.
1974  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to create gambling site? on: December 22, 2014, 12:44:18 AM
Hi, does anyone know how can i make site like bitwheel.io ?
I think there is script for it.. can someone make tutorial? :O

Even if you do get your hands on that script, you have to deal with security updates, patches, software updates etc.

You also need to have a big starting bankroll and make sure that no one cheats on your site and robs you.

It's a hard task and there won't be a tutorial on it. It's literally like starting your own business.
1975  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin bank? on: December 22, 2014, 12:38:37 AM
Is there any place in market for concept of Bitcoin bank?

Benefits of secured value combined with anonymity and speed of bitcoin network.

Any suggestions or opinions?

Well, since the main idea behind Bitcoin was to create a decentralized currency where the big guys don't give out loans and charge huge interest rates, I don't think a Bitcoin Bank is a great idea.
1976  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Shopping on ebay with bitcoin? on: December 21, 2014, 11:41:42 PM
Check https://brawker.com I believe they accept ebay items along with any other item of internet.

The only problem with this site is that you have to wait for someone to buy your bitcoins and then buy the item for you.

50 Gh/s Cex.io Mining Contracts. I've bought some from him. He ships them with registered post so if someone chargeback scams he can just send PayPal the tracking number.

He can also send you the code via eBay's messaging service after the parcel has been logged 2 times.
