1961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Satoshi Needs to Reveal His Identity ? on: November 06, 2022, 06:01:31 PM
There are so many people in the Bitcoin Talk Forum who have interest to discover the true identity of the Bitcoin and Blockchain inventor. Also there are few who oppose the matter, that Satoshi Nakamoto must not reveal his identity.

I am so much confused regarding matter. So I think, it would be better to arrange a concensus about the identity of the Bitcoin and Blockchain inventor. The members of this forum can vote for themselves and it will be helpful for Satoshi Nakamoto to make a correct discussion.

What is your opinion ?

First of all, it is Satoshi decision to reveal his identity or hide his identity and we have no right to interfere in his decision. So in this case, there is no need to discuss these things as he won't take decisions based on our opinions.
Still, if you ask me, it is better that he does not disclose his identity and remain anonymous. I think if he reveals his identity, the bitcoin price will take a big dump.
1962  Economy / Speculation / Re: My advice to you regarding bear markets. on: November 06, 2022, 01:49:28 PM
Clearly, by the LUNA fall and then we are experiencing a bear market. No one can deny that.

So you are concluding the LUNA fall or scam was the reason of the bitcoin bear market? I don't agree with this. The bear market was already in effect and this LUNA drama acted as a nail in the coffin.

Secondly, if we see the price history of bitcoin from 2009, we will see that bitcoin always rises and gives the highest return on investment and lowest holding time. It is a maximum of four years we may have to hold and see another all time high bitcoin price.

The same way Bangladesh fans will be feeling the same if they lose this match. However, the context of both matches is different.  In the India Pakistan match, if no ball was not given, Pakistan was surely a winner.  Here, if Shakib was given not out, I don't think he was in the mood to make 50 in 20 balls.  Wink

This is not a question of making 50 in 20 balls. If Shakib was not given out, the Bangladesh team were not in a bad position but 2 wickets in 2 balls make it a worse situation especially when the second wicket was wrongly given out.
Due to this, the momentum for the Bangladesh team is lost and this decision is in the mind of the whole team and it badly affects their batting.
As a result, Bangladesh just broke down after that. At one point they could have ended up with 150 runs and now even 120 looks difficult. That's how a bad decision can destroy the morale of the team.
1964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 06, 2022, 05:17:01 AM
I understand that field umpire can make mistakes but how come the TV umpire make a wrong descsion. Is he blind to see that the bat did not hit the ground and this ultra edge footage means that Shakib Al Hasan is not out.
If you see the reply in slow motion, the ball never hit the ground.

What's wrong with ICC umpires? Do they want Pakistan to qualify to keep the spice in the WC and make lots of money through India Pakistan Hype and a possible final between them Huh

40th Match Super 12 Group 2. South Africa won the toss and welcomed the Netherlands to bat. Netherlands batting brilliantly from the beginning of the batting. Netherlands score 112 for 3 in 15 overs. South Africa bowling performance is not doing so well. South Africa must win the match to sure a Super 12 Group 2 semi-final match. Today's match is very important for South Africa
South Africa's net run rate is fairly good especially as they are in the second position with a total of five points from four matches.  A mere win against the Netherlands today will ensure them a place in the semi-finals.  Because it is impossible for Pakistan, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and the Netherlands to make it to the semi-finals.

Although South Africa is a strong team, and they should win against the Netherlands however the Netherlands did bat well to make 158 runs. All of their top order batsmen including Stephan Myburgh, Max O'Dowd, Tom Cooper and Colin Ackermann scored runs and make sure they put a very reasonable total on the board.

Also, their bowlers are putting up a good show and they have restricted south Africa to 68-3 in 10 overs. It will not be an easy journey from here on in for south Africa to win this match and cruise their way to the semi finals.
1966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zero KYC tolerance gambling platforms on: November 05, 2022, 07:27:15 PM
Is KYC verification very important to crypto gambling websites or this has something to do with their regulations rule? Where can one gamble with zero verification requirements?

Believe me or not but KYC is mandatory in the gambling world in one way or another. You may be given some benefit on not doing the KYC initially on the gambling site but later you may have to do it as sometimes you are not able to withdraw without KYC or you are being given some limitations which can only be removed if you perform the KYC.

As far as gambling sites are concerned, they are being forced to implement KYC so that they are not accused of money laundering and can save themselves in case some mishaps happen regarding the irregularity of money usage or transfer.
1967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: November 05, 2022, 03:21:25 PM

I think that the World Cup 2018 in Russia was the peak of that generation. We will see how this young players will play this year but a lot of them have many more years to play. Croatia probably won't repeat that result from four years ago bur I'm sure they will do good. We saw that in the League of Nations. The biggest question is who will be Modrić's successor to become the captain and lead the team after Qatar.

France won the 2018 world cup in Russia and probably it was the last time Russia held the world cup. I am saying this because, after the current war between Ukraine and Russia, FIFA may probably never let Russia host the world cup again. This is my feeling for now and things may change in the future, we never know. But as of now, FIFA has also banned Russia so it's hard to think that even if they unban Russian football, they may never allow the world cup to be played there.
1968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Issue in Binance P2P (disabled) on: November 05, 2022, 02:31:34 PM
being a merchant on binance I face very irritating behavior by the new users specially in pkr they just mark the order as paid without paying to seller so maybe in this he continuously do that some sellers report him so binance team disable p2p on his account for temporary he needs to contact support team to resolve the issue.

So, you mean to say that OP has marked the orders as completed without actually transferring the money and therefore his P2P binance account is disabled?
Usually if one party tries to cheat, binance will take the proof from other party and resolve the dispute. For example, if he has not released the money, the bitcoin or USDT in escrow would not have released so there is no point cheating in binance P2P.
1969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 05, 2022, 09:28:51 AM
Sri Lanka Pathum Nissanka Very good performance in batting. If he can bat for some more time, he will definitely score a century. Pathum Nissanka Collected 58 runs off 38 balls. Pathum Nissanka hit six maximum sixes in today's match. But it will be a very competitive game between England and Sri Lanka. But in today's game, it is still not clear who will win and who will lose. England must win today's match to play the semi-finals.

Sri Lanka started well in this match but it seems that they lost control in the later part of their innings. They scored good runs in the first 10 overs but the runs seem to be dried up in the last 10 overs and now it seems that Sri Lanka would find it difficult to reach the 150 Mark. This is a disappointing end to the innings as initially, it looked like 180 runs were on the card but now it seems far away. Pathum Nissanka scored 67 runs in only 45 balls and he was the only highlight of this innings. No other batsmen supported him.

Look like Australians' dreams for this T20 world cup may not last long as England can easily chase anything below 140 or 150.
1970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 05, 2022, 06:21:52 AM
Whether Australia will make it to the Semi finals depends on Sri Lanka. England is playing relatively well while Sri Lanka is also good. However, Sri Lanka is lagging behind in this tournament. Australia is also in quite confusion. If England can beat Sri Lanka, it will certainly not be good news for Australia. NRR is important issue. The run rate of the match has now become quite effective. Who can win the final match between the two teams? ‍Who one will be lucky in this match? These are the common questions of the spectators regarding the today's match.

The equation is very simple now. New Zealand has qualified already as they have the highest run rate. Today's final group one match result will determine who will be the 2nd team to qualify from this group.

There is simple two scenarios and now the run rate does not matter.

1- If England wins, the England reaches the semi finals (Australia is eliminated)

2- If England loses, Australia will qualify for the semi finals (England is eliminated)

1971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you watching Online Gambling Streams? Short survey and discussion on: November 04, 2022, 07:43:27 PM
Already fill, I hope my participation in fill out the survey helps your thesis, interesting in survey not just about streams but also about gambling.
Yes sometimes I watching streams depending on conditions, when bored with gambling then I watch some streams slots or some poker.

The quiz is very interesting and easy to take. It hardly takes less than 5 minutes to fill the quiz. I hope many people fill the quiz as if more people will participate, the result will be the voice of the majority of the gamblers.

Another thing is that it will be good if OP compiles all the filled survey and come up with some sort of conclusion which may be beneficial for the gambling community.

By the way, is there any deadline to fill the survey ?
1972  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is hodling top 10 Marketcap coins a good tactic? on: November 04, 2022, 04:21:49 PM
Taking a look back at the history and the top coins of the past years, it can be said that only bitcoin and ethereum are the two coins that have stayed in place throughout the years, the rest are constantly changing. In recent years, bnb is known as a product of binance, so it can be said that these are the 3 safest coins today. As for the rest of the top coins, I don't see anything guaranteed.

We should remember the market is growing, new and better altcoins are also being created so there is no guarantee that top coins like sol, avax, near, ada will not be superseded. For me 10 topcoins is not the best choice, if long-term investment should only invest in BTC, if you want to invest in altcoins, you should wait until the bull market will appear many potential altcoins.

You are right that top 10 coins are not consistent and there are chances that some new coins may enter in top 10 while some of the coin which were at top positions in previous bull run, may not be known in the next bull run. An example of such a coin is EOS.

Anyways still it is safer to invest in top 10 coins as they have a lot of liquidity and if you are clever enough you may sell those coins a a profit. Of course, you can keep Ethereum and bitcoin forever and still these two will remain at top 2 positions for a long time. No coin can replace bitcoin and at present, there is no coin which can compete Ethereum.
1973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling house responisbilty to protect people data on: November 03, 2022, 11:49:13 PM
Everyone is annoyed by the endless KYC requirements, and if the casino still prescribes the publicization of players who have received large winnings, then this is already too much, but there will certainly be players who will be quite satisfied with it, because large winnings are very rare and some people have a craving to become famous. But if the rules of the casino do not provide for publicity and they do it, then it is illegal and immoral.

If people wanted to become famous through gambling, they would probably be happy with the KYC at gambling sites. But the thing is that majority of people only want to gamble without disclosing who they are. How can they be happy, if the casino makes them in the spotlight and start marketing that this person has won this much amount of money? This is just beyond imagination.

I don't know if the legal provides covers to the gamblers on this matter, but one thing is for sure if any gambling site tries to do it with me to make my data exposed in front of the public, I may quit that casino forever.
1974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 03, 2022, 02:59:59 PM
In today's match, due to rain, South Africa is in such bad condition. South Africa are not a very bad team. The South African team's performance was also fairly good. However, Pakistan gave South Africa a big target. I think South Africa would have been able to meet the target if not for the rain. South Africa's batting performance was good before the rain. South Africa's score was then 69-4(9). Due to wet outfield after rain. the momentum of the game is lost. And South Africa lost to Pakistan by 33 runs

At one stage Pakistan was 48 for 4 and they again had a bad start as usual. The openers again failed along with the top order batsmen. However, later Nawaz , Iftikhar and Shadab turned the table around and Pakistan managed to score much needed 185 runs. This was a match winning total and with the bowling of Pakistan, it was hard to chase this total.

The rain also helped Pakistan and made the target difficult for South Africa. However, even with the loss, South Africa is in a better position on the table, and they have greater chances of making it to the Semifinal.
1975  Economy / Speculation / Re: The pump isn't coming sooner on: November 02, 2022, 11:59:46 PM
I believe that the future of crypto currency is strong and big, I am a long term investment myself but...

There are many posts on this forum saying the crypto bear market is over, some are already saying that a pump is coming.

The truth is they don't know what's coming, bear market can last longer than they think, it will get to the point where many will give up or about to give up before things start changing.

Some holders will get bored and tired.

Some will even start believing that crypto is dead.

We haven't even get to that point yet.

I don't know what is meant by you when you use the word "Sooner".

Even if it takes 2-3 years for the next bitcoin pump or bull market, it is still considered sooner. No other finical markets give you this return on investments & profits in this little time.

Another example is that you can invest in real estate and hope for good returns in over a decade. Bitcoin market will give you maximum returns in only under 4 years.  Smiley
1976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 02, 2022, 05:07:28 PM

Sure, ICC just needed to tell the umpires to start the match as soon as the rain stops. And do not care about the wet outfield. Who knows they may have ordered to play in the rain too if the rain would not have stopped.  Cheesy

Do you know that when the field is wet it favors the batting team? So who was batting at that time? It was Bangladesh batting. So the condition was favorable for Bangladesh.

If you do not remember, in the last world cup, the formula was to win the toss and bat second. Why? Because there was dew in the second half and bowling was not easy. So can we say that umpire favored Bangladesh to allow play in a wet outfield making it difficult for the Indian bowlers to bowl?

What if, India had lost this match, would the social media scream that it was the umpire's decision making India lose Huh

Finally, you are forgetting that India made 180+ runs. How many times 180+ was chased in this WC? I think not even once, so how come you think that India won with the help of umpires?
1977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Countries that are Legal and Illegal in gambling on: November 01, 2022, 05:35:34 PM
^

In addition to online gambling, there are a huge number of illegal casinos that are hidden from the gawkers and you can get there only by invitation. In my opinion eradicating gambling is the same as eradicating arms and drug trafficking. And we all know that not a single state has been able to do this so far. So if a person wants to gamble he can, in any case, find somewhere to do it. It all depends on the desire.
Yes, a gambling ban means nothing on the practice. There is always going to be a gambling alternative on every territories of the world, doesn't matter how restrictive the local laws are. Before the internet it was harder to find such alternatives, because clandestine houses were one of the few alternatives, although a group of friends could manage to bet among themselves without any issues too.

But now there aren't excuses. Anyone can have access to the internet and sign up at an online casino to start playing. Countries which insist in forbidding gambling are simply losing income to other countries which could be being received by themselves, if they allowed gambling by the rules.

The countries where gambling is banned, do the people stopped gambling? Yes, some of them might have quit gambling who are not so techy while few might not want to go against the govt. issues laws, but most of the gamblers keep on doing gambling online.

Just like crypto cannot be banned even if the government tries to ban crypto. Similarly, banning gambling is close to impossible. No matter you impose restrictions on gamblers they will find a way to gambling online without being tracked.

1978  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull or bear November? on: November 01, 2022, 04:27:36 PM
For now there is nothing specific for a bullish move, and the world market too suffering. The price movements will happen within specific limits and could drop down. Even now experts have warned of the price pumping which could be a trap. I'm not sure, how far it is gonna be real in the market. Whether it is bull or bear, we need to keep ourselves face the worst which lets us keep our portfolio stable.

Most of the time we can experience good rise in the price over the end months. Maybe the same could happen, if not Elon Musk through Twitter needs to do some fortune to influence the market.

Some people start to compare the price of bitcoins in November in previous years and try to predict the bullishness of the market. If most of the years November and December are the bullish months for bitcoin, in particular, this does not mean that we will be bullish in this month.

Agreed with you that bitcoin is in a bearish state and there is nothing happening right now due to which we can say that bitcoin will be bullish. We need to follow the trend and the current trend for the bitcoin market is bearish.
1979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FIFA World Cup 2022: Tournament Discussion Thread for Qatar 2022 on: November 01, 2022, 03:44:55 PM
@Sithara007 I really hope that fan’s do not break any law there, because then it’ll a nightmare for them to escape from Qatar and lastly I hope that FIFA will run ads and educate fans on why they should strictly follow the rules there.

Qatar is expecting a total of 1.2 million visitors during the world cup. Even if we take the very liberal estimate of 99% of them adhering to the local laws, that still leaves some 12,000 people on the wrong side of the law. And those from US and the other powerful nations will be let off with a warning, but those from Asia and Africa are likely to spend at least some time in prison. So my advice to all the fans would be to keep themselves away from alcohol while being in Qatar, if they can't control themselves.

The rules should be same for everyone whether the visitors re form some asian or african country or from the USA & the western world ?
If they treat people based upon the nationality, it will not give a good impression to the world.

Also, i don't think that Qatar will put anyone in prison for any offense like taking bear or even betting on matches. They may ask them to do such stuff in hotels but for sure they won't fill their prisons with the visitors Wink
1980  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk Becomes Owner Of Twitter, Immediately Fires CEO And CFO on: November 01, 2022, 03:13:22 PM
Firing the two Top empolyee is one of the best things Musk can do - many people are very happy with his decision

From what I read from mainstream media, these guys (Parag, Vijaya.etc) left with a fat paycheck. But nonetheless, their firings will be beneficial to Twitter in the long term. The first tweet that Elon put up after taking over Twitter was that "the bird has been set free". And this is exactly what happened. People like Parag and Vijaya were censoring anything that even remotely resembled right-wing viewpoint in Twitter, while protecting all the hate-speech (including calls for genocide) that was coming from the rabid left.

Do you think firing the CFO and CEO will create a lot of panic among the employees in twitter and it will create a sense of fear in terms of job security?  Let's see how it will affect Twitter in the mid to long term.

By the way, has he announced the new CFO / CEO for Twitter, or the positions are vacant for now?

Now Elon Musk officially bought Twitter and the initial impact is that Doge prices have gone up more than 140% in a week, this is because the Twitter plan that will receive doge for transactions and I'm sure will have a positive impact on the market.

Twitter has been the main source of publishing tweets about the hype of dogecoin and now since Elon Musk has bought twitter we can say that "The stage is yours" for Dogecoin tweets to again gain hype. I think the future of dogecoin is good as long as Elon musk keep supporting it.
