Is it better to have  a place to discuss only about NFTs?

I think that would be a good for NFT lovers

NFTs are dead now and the hype of NFT is now over at least for the time being. So do you want to have a separate board for something which is not of much interest to the community???

However, You can still discuss them in Altcoin sections and that is the most appropriate place for them. No more boards can be created for things that can be fitted in already established boards.
1042  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: April 29, 2023, 10:18:07 PM
To be exact, in order to release a 1000 satoshi bonus, you need to wager at least 50,000 satoshi. So, when you asy that a bonus has a "low wagering requirement," I would take that with a grain of salt.  Grin

So will anyone risk 50,000 satoshi wagering to get 1000 satoshi ? The risk is too high as compared to the reward. Yes, if you want to gamble, you can do it but do not force yourself to gamble in order to complete the wagering requirements to claim the bonus.

This is one of the reasons that I like to bet from time to time on freebitco.in as it offers something else besides the regular sportsbooks you have. When I bet on the price for the cyrptocurrencies, I would only bet near the end of the month, but for betting on tennis or soccer matches, this time multiplier can give you a nice bonus.

Betting on BTC price on freebitco is most interesting betting I found on this site. es, it is better to bet as late as possible so we can have more chances of guessing the price correctly. Right now you can bet for the bitcoin price on 31 May, 2023 and betting will end in 24 days. Better to place the bet after 23 days so you know what the current Bitcoin price at that time is.
1043  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much you have earned through crypto referral on: April 29, 2023, 09:59:00 PM
Actually, if you want to earn from referrals you need to work for it. Post for referral links in relevant social media groups, chat with your referrals, and make sure they are active so that your referral income never stops.

I do post my referral link in my Facebook groups that have over 2k members in it and I always actively chat with them even sharing any good promo from stake with them.
more importantly, I always share the drops/weekly/monthly link that I got from stake telegram to my referral.

Yes, that is how you can earn from referral income that you are fully committed to getting engaged with your referrals. Those who are willing to earn from referrals they need to work hard for it and not everyone can do it. Getting refferals and then getting income from them is an art in itself.  Smiley

nowadays I saw many people in my crypto group doing this for a new airdrop and I saw they are received around 500~2k$ from airdrop referrals

Yes, if you have a lot of followers, you can get good referrals for the airdrops and this may help you to get a lot of free money. These days influencers are making good money with airdrop referrals.
1044  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I think it's time to leave Binance, any alternatives? on: April 29, 2023, 09:38:53 PM
...So, my question is, if Binance goes down, which centralized bitcoin exchange are you going to use? Personally, I think that Coinbase will become more popular because it's number two exchange by popularity at the moment and what makes it more attractive compared to Binance is that it's the San Francisco-based company, has been in business since 2012.

Let's not bury Binance prematurely, because despite all the Fud, the exchange continues its work. If you really consider yourself to be a trader, then you should have registration on at least several other cryptocurrency exchanges, such as Kucoin and Bybit.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, there is no alternative to binance when you consider the centralized exchanges. There is no exchange which can be trusted for now other than binance. So if you are looking to trade in centralized exchange binance is still the best one to trade on. You will get most liquidity here plus i believe that other small exchanges can collapse or scam but binance may stay for longer duration.

Still if you want to quit binance, then try to trade at different decentralized exchanges and see for yourself which exchanges suits you and provides you most services similar to centralized exchanges.
1045  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where is your stand as a Bitcoin holder. on: April 29, 2023, 12:13:00 PM
Most people will fall in category 5 here or even less. Most of us do not have even that much amount of bitcoin but should aim to be in the top 5 category.
0.135 bitcoin is equal to around 4000$ and everyone should aim to get this amount with them.

I don't know how other members will take this topic, but i don't think it is correct or safe to estimate to the general public how much BTC you have, that can make you a target of attack. Some people here even know each other in real life, now i can imagine someone claiming they have >1 BTC here and some members know who they are, it is unsafe and a $5 wrench attack can happen to you. I prefer to say i have 0 BTC. Don't make your BTC holdings public.

I do not understand how can it be unsafe to declare how many bitcoin do you own ? With bitcointalk we do not have done any KYC and there are no traces of who you are in the real world. So even if you say that you have 1 bitcoin, no one can come after you to snatch that bitcoinBTC  Huh
1046  Economy / Reputation / Re: Heads up on this user on: April 28, 2023, 11:01:55 PM
I get it that dealing with a newbie with no forum history is a risk, but it is not fair to generalize. There are some trustworthy newbies out there who are just trying to get started. However, I agree that it is a good idea to seek an reputable escrow if you want to have a safe deal with someone here.

How can a Newbie be trustworthy unless he has done previous transactions and have good feedback? It's better to hire a escrow to safeguard the interest of both the parties involved.

The OP mentioned that there is no money involved, so there are no transactions.

How can you say that there was no money involved. He was looking for help in design and artwork and in return for sure he would pay the money. Now if anyone help him in his work and he goes away without making payment, the person who worked for him won't get his money and hence his time and effort will be wasted.
1047  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: Another Fake Sinbad Mixer on: April 28, 2023, 10:48:40 PM
How did you find about this scam clone website?

It's sad but its reality that if you do a google search for Sindbad mixer, you will find this scam site right in top 3 results.
Yes, scammers are these days very active to impersonate the crypto sites and scam people, but i feel that google is equally responsible for promoting these scam sites.

Check for yourself the results of google search Sad

1048  Other / Meta / Re: TalkImg.com - Image hosting for BitcoinTalk on: April 28, 2023, 10:00:30 PM
I have always used imgur or imgbb but after a while the images disappear and/or get broken.
A lot of old topics get weird or meaningless without the images, and I think the best feature will be this.

I will do the tests, but I can already tell you that I will start using your site and if I need to I will make some suggestions.

I have been using https://imgur.com/ till now but there were some issues as sometimes the uploaded images won't load etc but now i will try this new tool and already bookmarked  https://www.talkimg.com/  Smiley
Already like the clean interface.

This is an outstanding accomplishment. I also see it as a service to the bitcointalk community since it is solely designed for us.

People who don't use bitcointalk can also use this talkingIMG and it will be interesting to see how quickly it becomes popular in the general public  Smiley
1049  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best laptops for crypto on: April 28, 2023, 08:34:42 PM
Please recommend a good laptop for crypto..
I want to use it for exchanges and holding crypto (wallets)..

This is one of the hilarious questions I come across asking about storing crypto. You can store them in any laptop or use exchanges on any computer as these things do not require any specific processors and do not take much hard disk space or ram usage.

The important thing is that in which ever laptop you install the wallets on, make sure the latest version of Anti Virus is installed on that laptop and also try not to surf the Internet from that laptop, and even if you do, try not to click on links which you do not know.

1051  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin having effect on the ongoing war on: April 27, 2023, 11:58:53 PM
But who knows, the source is inside Russia so might be true that they are just hiding on the reasons that they have abundance of electricity, on the other hand they want Bitcoin mining or Bitcoin per se, to go against the sanctions by the West. So still a win-win for them to go and become the second biggest mining country.
Many people in the financial system in Russia consider bitcoin to be a pyramid scheme. You can argue a lot on this topic, but a large number of bitcoins have already been mined. If Russia invests huge amounts of money in the construction of mining centers, then the US could at any moment ban bitcoin and make Russia's investment in mining useless. There are a lot of natural resources in Russia, and it is better for the government to develop more promising areas rather than bitcoin mining.

Yes, but if there's one thing that Bitcoin can do with Russia right now is to circumvent the US sanctions on them and they could used BTC to their advantage by being the mining capital or hub right now. China for once has ban Bitcoin trading, and it has no to little effect on the market.

Probably US will put a big dent once they decided to put the hammer ban, but I doubt that the government will do it. There are a lot of US that is going to be crypto friendly and even Bitcoin mining booms in Texas. The US government is more intelligent than just putting the ban on bitcoin and everything that relates to it. On the contrary, I'm thinking that they will have to embrace or adopt it the sooner to stay ahead of the game.

I see the world is moving in a direction where it will be divided in two sections, one would be US supported countries that will continue to use the dollar as their main currency. The other block will be forming as an Anti-US country that may use Bitcoin as a main currency to trade/deal between them.

Check out some of the latest developments like Saudi Arabia Considers Accepting Yuan Instead of Dollars for Chinese Oil Sales and you will see where we are heading in next few years.

The dollar will eventually lose its importance and it will eventually be replaced by Bitcoin. Also, countries are expected to launch their own CBDC, but i don't think that may serve as an alternative to Bitcoin.
1052  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which crypto wallet is better to take for a beginner? on: April 27, 2023, 11:34:35 PM
Which crypto wallet is better to take for a beginner? Now there are many varieties, there are screens, there are ordinary ones, there are also cheap and expensive ones, how to choose and what to rely on?

All the bitcoin and crypto wallets are free to use except the hardware wallets which you need to purchase before using them.

Yes, there are many varieties of wallets but mainly there are two categories that as a beginner you should know. One is the web wallets where you keep the coins and those sites are accessed by username and password. You do not hold the private key of those wallets and hence you are taking a risk by depositing your money in centralized wallets. Though they are easily accessible but there is no control and you do not own the coins 100% in case the site closes or scams.

Then there are Desktop/Mobile wallets that you may install on your laptop / Mobile and you can access them by seed phrases and private keys. Though they are a bit technical to use, they are much more secure than online web wallets.
1053  Other / Meta / Re: Copy button next to content in code command on: April 27, 2023, 11:14:25 PM

Wow such easy to copy signatures, much wow

This is a suggestion from your side . Right  Huh
Better write it clearly becasue when i saw your post, i immediately open one of the campaigns to see if this new feature is implemented but it was not the case.

I mostly find it difficult to copy signature from my smartphone, but anytime I want to copy it became too bulky for me to get the line I want to copy since my android phone is not that large enough for me and most of it are very tiny to view. I wait whenever I gets to my pc I turn on and apply code, but if that copy option could work fine with smartphone it will be nice then with pc users can manually just take like 5 to 10 second to apply code & avatar.

Copying the signature code manually may be difficult on the smartphone but it is very easy to copy signatures on the computer. You just need to select the right text (only code) by selecting the code from the top till the end by scrolling with the mouse and pressing the Ctrl+ C and then pasting it with Ctrl+V on the signature space. I don't think anyone should face any difficulty with this. Doing it once or twice makes you an expert on this.  Wink
1054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in bitcoin on: April 27, 2023, 10:59:22 PM
Investment in bitcoin can makes you developed reasoning on how to expand your income, most people who do holdings for a long period of time makes enough money at every running of bulls price and they begins to diversified their investment into different places. Some expands to mining, trading and physical business but when you eat you investment at every little price increase or drops you tends to remained statics, holding is a good option no matter the current price. Some people who became big bitcoin investors became it as a result of holdings.

There are very few people who realize the power of holding Bitcoin. It may take time to hold bitcoin but the profits of holding can't be compared with the profits gained in trading bitcoin.

Most people are involved in trading bitcoin and they are happy making some daily / weekly profits, but they don't realize the potential in holding bitcoin for a long time period. As said by some experts, with trading you may get the kitchen money or the money with which you can bear the daily expenses but the real money which can make you a millionaire comes from holding bitcoin.

Also, there are chances that you may lose money in trading but if you can hold Bitcoin for a full cycle of four years, you may never lose your investment.
1055  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which are best stake alternatives on: April 26, 2023, 11:12:59 PM
Which are best stake alternatives
I search for good casinos with similar original games

Stake is already a good casino, so if you are playing at stake, why do you look for alternatives when stake.com is already providing you with good services?

Anyways, you will not find anything similar to stake in terms of interface, etc but there are many other trusted gambling sites (many of those have ANN threads on bitcointalk), where you may play. Everyone has their own preference on which gambling site they want to play but one thing is common they want to play at a good, trusted gambling site so they are not scammed by them.

Whichever you new site you try as a stake alternative, better to check its reviews before gambling there with your money.
1056  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: POST ALL PHISING SITES HERE (2023) on: April 26, 2023, 10:38:59 PM
Note: Any member are free to give advice or any ask for any change which are suitable to become this thread more beneficial.

I like your initiative and also appreciate that you care and are concerned about members so that they don't land on phishing scam sites and lose their money especially if it is related to cryptocurrency sites. However, if you will search on Google, you will find there are a lot of phishing sites, and new phishing pop up every day that it is impossible to keep track of them.

I would suggest bookmarking the exchange/wallets/investment sites that we visit often so that we don't land on scam site if we search those sites. Secondly, i have seen google ads showing many scam sites at the top when you search for any site, so better avoid using Google search. I prefer to use DuckDuckGo search engine (https://duckduckgo.com)
1057  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I was scammed to invest and left with a watch only wallet on: April 26, 2023, 10:14:13 PM
I'm not sure if there's anything I can do but I invested allot (all I have) in "forex" and it turns out to be a scam. I was left with a 'watch only' wallet. Any advice?

The information you provided here is insufficient to conclude anything and we can't give you any advice based on what you have written here.

As per the little information you provided, the one thing i can say is why did you invest a lot in something (either forex or bitcoin) that you can't afford to lose? Look like you're one of that greedy people who want to become rich quickly and scammers exploit this behavior and scam you.  Sad

Please provide more details and perhaps someone will be able to give you a piece of better advice.

__SNIP__

There is nothing in the post to quote and answer I am quoting this for the notification to the OP, Dear please elaborate on the motive behind this masterpiece. I want to know if you can explain it in a simple flow, you are trying to explain the importance of consistency and patience in the crypto market and financial life which allows you to change your destiny, without both of them you can't be successful that's it.

This is what I understood from the Post nothing more than that, I think my understanding skills need to be improved, and I will defiantly try to work on it (On My Understanding Skills).

__SUTLAN HAMZA___

OP is trying to say that most people invest in BitcoinBTC and cryptocurrencies with a motive to become quickly rich which is wrong and most of the time they just expect too much from their investment and may eventually feel disappointed.

In every other investment, 10-20% ROI is considered very good but when people invest in Bitcoin they expect to attain 100% or even more ROI and also in a very short span of time.

Now the question arises, why do people expect such high returns from bitcoin investments Huh
Perhaps there are lot of success stories being published on social media where they tell that people just changed their fortune via crypto investments, Well, it's true but the ratio for those people is very less who become rich overnight.
1059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Re: I just got an android on: April 26, 2023, 09:32:26 PM
Seriously screw Apple. This android is amazing. Lol jk. Apple is super simple to use, I kind of miss it.

Now can someone please tell me the best android bitcoin wallet software? Thx.
TREAD

Which Bitcoin wallet were you using in your Apple iOS ?

You can use blue wallet or Electrum in your Android phone. Blue Wallet has a more user friendly interface as compared to the Electrum Andriod version.

Apple has the highest security features which Andriod lacks but i still believe that Andriod is more convenient to use unless you are living in an Apple ecosystem.
1060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto (btc) is not for the weak on: April 25, 2023, 11:58:05 PM
Crypto currency as a whole despite its advantages can be very risky. It appear to me as a battlefield where only the strong can survive and weak ones will eventually give up. I came across this and it worth sharing not to scared us but to build hope in us that we are not alone on this.
It was reported that about 17 wealthiest investors and founders lost about $116 billion in less than a year.

You need to understand the difference between losing the funds and losing the portfolio value ?
In crypto, there are times when the bear market takes over the bull market and crypto prices fall to even 80-90% down. At that moment the portfolio of all the retailers and institutions will be in net loss. However, everyone knows that this net loss will be eventually in profit when the bull market return so there is not much to be afraid of.

However, if you sold your bitcoin in loss, or if you were hacked, someone stole your Bitcoin, in that case, you will never be able to recover your money. That loss is permanent, and you should make each and every precaution so that you do not become a victim where hackers or you yourself lose your funds by your own mistake or carelessness.
