1161  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: March 25, 2023, 05:45:45 AM
he only add confusion to himself or maybe he do that here in chance of gaining answer from the team because the OP of this thread posted in that other thread but never bring answers here so maybe it is His way of trying hard.

and like what we all says in the past? surely that he will never take His money back ..Never .
Lol anyone who is a victim of the 1xbit scam can't get an answer in this thread because it's not possible for 1xbit to solve all the fraud cases that have been committed.
Hoping for a resolution of the 1xbit case is futile.
Op never gives an answer here because he knows if the gambler wants his money back so never will he give his answer in the 1xbit thread.
Only stupid people have been fooled 1xbit and still ask for money to be returned.
There have been quite a lot of fraud cases committed by 1xbit and not a single gambler has been able to get back lost money.

Almost every other Gambling Casino has its ANN thread on bitcointalk to solve gamblers' problems, unlike 1xbit who are on this forum only to scam people. Do not expect them to resolve the issues as their mission is to scam people's money and never return them.

I wonder why this site is still alive and also their signature campaign is still running even though they did not stop their scamming business. For sure, those who get scammed will never return to 1xbit but there are so many new gamblers getting scammed every day on this site.
1162  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: March 24, 2023, 11:36:41 PM
I am beginning to fan this discussion interesting and as a matter of fact, some points are beginning to spring up from this discussion as the above-quoted comments have pointed out, it is no longer about the loss any more, but now the discussion is shifting to the personality of the parties involve and they class im the society.
The gambler who lost 1.4 million in a bet is passive to be a rich guy, and those blaming ara are seen to be doing so because they are not rich so they would know the worth of the money to the gambler, this is quite interesting.

For sure, anyone making a bet with 1.4 Million USD would not be a poor person in any case. However, it worth to know how much total wealth that gambler have because if he had only that much amount and he risked everything in that bat, he has definitely done the wrong thing. However, suppose a person have 10 million USD or 20 million USD and then he can risk 1 Million USD to make a bet and try his luck.

Most of the people here are like me, who have never seen 1 million dollars and therefore we find it strange that how a person can spent that much money in gambling but we forget that for the rich people, this is just an ordinary amount.
1163  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance suddenly haults all crypto trading services on spot! on: March 24, 2023, 05:00:58 PM
PS: Yes, I have funds and I do trade on binance.

Everyone trade on binance but keep only the trading funds on the binance and make sure they are not big enough which can damage you in case a Binance scam exits one day (Like FTX). If you buy some coins in Spot at binance for mid term or long term, remove them from the exchange and keep it in your personal wallet.

Just a safety precaution but we should avoid CEX for now even for short trade. CZ seems being attacked secretly.

Well, it is not possible to avoid CEX if you are doing spot or futures trading. I would suggest moving to bitget exchange. Bybit exchange seems good too but remember to keep limited trading funds on exchanges.
1164  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Trading Halted : Impact if BTC Fluctuates on: March 24, 2023, 04:35:47 PM
Binance suddenly haults all crypto trading services on spot!

Once again, Trading halted at binance but this time at the SPOT.
Deposit and withdrawal are also suspended.

First Trading was resumed and finally, withdrawals are also resumed. People will just forget today's (and previous incidents) and keep on trading/depositing at binance until one day when the withdrawal will be halted but will never resume.

Believe me, someday this situation will come, so I never trust a centralized exchange no matter how SAFU they claim themselves.

1165  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Coinomi wallet hacked, all funds stolen on: March 24, 2023, 01:10:05 PM
This is very strange. From Coinomi support - https://coinomi.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/29000009711-if-a-hacker-penetrates-your-servers-will-he-steal-my-coins- - "Someone can only access your coins if; - He has access to your recovery phrase/private keys. - If he has access to your device and knows your app password." - https://coinomi.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/29000013344-can-a-thief-hack-bruteforce-my-stolen-lost-device-and-spend-my-funds- - "Coinomi is a security-first wallet, it has been around since 2014 and no user wallet has ever been hacked or otherwise compromised, and that is for a reason."
Maybe you have serious malware or keylogger in your computer. Try to scan your computer with good antivirus software and also Malwarebytes software from here https://www.malwarebytes.com/.

Why is it that every time a person losses his fund from a personal wallet, he makes the owners of the wallet company scam and responsible for his / her? Most of the time people lose money by their own carelessness but they try to put the blame on others that the wallet is not secure and other things which are not true.

No one will take anyone's loss, therefore we need to protect our assets and protect our wallets by ourselves. Nothing would be benefit by blaming others.
1166  Economy / Exchanges / Trading Halted : Impact if BTC Fluctuates on: March 24, 2023, 12:54:44 PM
Once again, Trading halted at binance but this time at the SPOT.

With such a big exchange and infrastructure this should not happen in the first place. People can't close their trades neither they can make new spot trades. In case Bitcoin Fluctuates too much, it will have an impact on Binance users as in case of a dump they will be holding the coins in loss, the stop losses might not trigger  Huh

1167  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Trust wallet update on: March 23, 2023, 11:49:09 PM
I no longer use Trust Wallet as a wallet after the update request and have switched to Stack Wallet. I last used Trust Wallet on March 10th. On that date I made a transaction by sending some Bitcoin to the wallet, but the process took an unusual amount of time even though I did not change the fee as set.
Of the several transaction processes I did, the transaction on that day was relatively long.

Well, this may be your personal decision but i do not think that there is anything to worry about regarding the trust wallet. If there was an issue after the update or if this was a potential scam update not triggered by the trust wallet, many people would have lost the money and this would have been on social media.

If your transaction of yours took more time, it could have been any other issue as sometimes the network is congested but i really don't think that trust wallet update has anything to do with this issue.
1168  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Deflation in signature campaigns on: March 22, 2023, 11:46:06 PM
It depends on your country, do you have a main job, and the amount of exchange in your country compared to the quality of your posts and the time you spend on the forum.

If the forum is just a bonus to get bitcoin and share your knowledge, then there is no difference. For example, I was in CM campaign for two years, and now I am in Best_change for two years. The second campaign pays a third of the amount of the first campaign, but the price of the bitcoin increased during this same period, which made the money I collected from CM during the first two years is equivalent to 3 times the current CM payment or 6 time of best_change, and so on.

So if you have a job that covers the basics and luxuries, creating an alt account in order to get $ 100 a week is a waste of time.

You will never consider the payment from signature campaigns to be your main income. If you only depend upon earning from signatures, you are doing something seriously wrong. Most people use the Signature earning as a pocket money or as a wage for part time work and they are satisfied with what the get. Also, when you see that people are working blindly for bounties, where nothing is grantee if they will get any valuable tokens or not, working is signature campaigns is far better and people are willing to work.

Also i remember that in the past Campaigns used to play in bitcoin without calculating its dollar value, but ever since the bitcoin price has raised, campaigns will pay in term of dollar value, the equivalent bitcoin.
1169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / FOMC Press Conference and effect on bitcoin on: March 22, 2023, 06:58:28 PM

You can watch this FOMC Press Conference right now live here FOMC Press Conference March 22, 2023

Although we have this meeting every month but this meeting was important as the banks in US are at the verge of collapse and it was important o see what measure the US takes to save their banking sector.
The keynote here is that the "Federal Reserve has raised the interest rate by 25 bps "

What can this meeting and this hike in interest rate can bring up to bitcoin in the short and long term?
1170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade up capital: $200 on: March 22, 2023, 06:48:23 PM
I wants to begins trading but I don't have money in coven, I took my wife's $200 to put it into trading wallet pending where I will do good in trading returns my wife's's money. Could this be enough to start trade?
My wife's mum's has suspect me of taking my wife's money and she didn't know I have already confess to my wife but my sweetheart doesn't wants her mum to interferes in our family matter that she knows am the one who took the money. So what do I do now that the money is legal in my hand?

Trading is one field where you need a substantial amount of capital to get started. Trading is not something where you can start with a few hundred dollars and then built up later. Yes, you may invest 200$ in bitcoin for mid to long term hold but if you want to trade, you should have a minimum capital of 1000$ or more.
You must have heard a famous saying that money makes money and this falls truly fit for trading. Better raise some more capital before coming to trading. Yes, you may start learning to trade but you can't make good money if you do not possess the capital.
1171  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Wondering how much my account is worth ? on: March 22, 2023, 05:29:48 PM
I just noticed that people were selling their bitcointalk account here
And I am wondering how much mine would be worth  Huh
It is almost 10 years old !

You are a Sr member and your account may be worth a lot but as soon as you will sell it or even try to sell it, it will be of no value, useless.

Account sales are not encouraged and i would suggest you never sell or think of selling your account. If you do not want to use it, keep it with you.  I can't stress it more, DO NOT SELL YOUR ACCOUNT. You would regret it if you sold your account.
1172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying cheap is best formula on: March 22, 2023, 03:17:49 PM
This period do not encourage trading or investment but at the same time when price is down is good opportunity to buy cheap and when its explode you will gain it. Nothing is lost in bitcoin, those holding for long now are the great benefactors but if you buy this period is more safer.

If I have money now, I would buy half of bitcoin because in next three months it will double the current price. This is real because it always occur this way after 5 years remember in 2011 and 2017 from the market charts and caps. And this year will break more even.

We all know that we should buy bitcoin when its prices are low but usually in these bear times people wait for more lower prices and therefore they fail to buy bitcoin. No one can find the ultimate bottom so in my opinion we can use the dollar cost averaging method (DCA) in which you will buy bitcoin periodically and not buy once at any particular price.

If you want to buy half a bitcoin, do not buy all of it at once. Buy 20% of it at current market price and keep buying some amounts weekly and monthly. In this way, you will get a better average bitcoin buying price.

-snip-

I do not know if you are aware (I think you should know).
There have been unsolved problems with gamblers on your casino which you should address as soon as possible, if you want to continue to have a healthy relationship with this community.  Roll Eyes

This official account already got two negative feedback points, which would likely deter new people from joining. Also, many around here did expect more activity from this account in both advertisement and costumer support.

Hello

we solved the problem of course and for the player who trying for arbitrage or some activitis which is not allowed we stop them . we research about this player also and find the problem about his payment and activists on site .

Thank you
Regards

If you have resolved the issue, then why not go here Yas.bet Scam!? and response on that thread with proper evidence. Also see this comment
I have tagged them until they respond here. You might consider sending them a pm about this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3492459. They have not been online for the last 3 days, so hopefully they login soon.
If you are right, then it won't be difficult for you to convince that the trust feedback be removed. Anyways you will need to proof how he was doing arbitrage and he was involved in what other illegal activities?
1174  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: March 21, 2023, 05:48:03 AM
It is not necessarily a waste as long as it brings benefits and convenience to your work and life. Nowadays, owning a house is extremely difficult for young people, so renting is a good solution when starting a business because we may have to move a lot to get a better job. That is not wasted.

Yes, renting is a way the young entrepreneurs to start their businesses if they do not have enough funds at the start of their business journey. Getting rented houses or sometimes rented machinery may be extremely helpful.

Also, if you have a lot of extra resources, like land, plot, and shop you may put them on rent and can generate passive income. So it is a win-win situation for both of you, the one who receives rent and the one who acquires the object and pays the rent on it.

I believe that if you have extra resources and you do not lend them, then you are missing out on an opportunity to make extra income.
1175  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Dilemma between focusing on B@bitcointalk and my current paid employment on: March 21, 2023, 04:27:39 AM
Do I quit my Job for Bitcointalk? (This is running through my mind)

First things first, why do you think you are hired by the bitcointalk to do any type of job ? I understand that you mean to say that should you quit your job and start earning from signature campaigns and bounties but your mindset is not right.

Well, your rank is too low to join any signature campaign and bounties won't make you any money as you will end up getting useless tokens which you may not be able to sell anywhere.

I would suggest that if you are not happy with your current job that pays you 300$ a month for a 24/7 work, you should start finding a better job in the real world and quit your current job once you have a new better one.

And Bitcointalk should never be considered as an alternative to your job, even if you attain a high rank in the forum.
1176  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Buying lost wallet.dat files on: March 21, 2023, 03:52:25 AM
is it worth buying lost wallet.dat files? did anyone succeed moving funds from them?

I haven't bought any lost wallet.dat files nor have any plans to do so. However, I know that there is no way you can get funds from those wallets. Whoever is selling these wallet files, are just scamming people.
For common sense, think that why would anyone sell these wallet files if people could retrieve the money from them themselves? Why not they get that money in those wallets  Huh
The answer is simply that they can't extract the money but they want to make money from us by fooling us.
Just stay away from these so called getting quick rich methods, you will only end up losing your funds.
1177  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Tax Avoidance Possible legally with Bitcoin? on: March 21, 2023, 03:27:13 AM
Say if someone owns 10 Bitcoins which is not declared and government doesn't know about it (earned/mined etc but did not buy)  and now that someone want to avoid paying tax on cashing it out. Can he simply move to countries where there is 0 tax like (UAE) specifically dubai and setup a company there and cash out crypto over years in dubai bank account and later decide to move to his home country with all that money. Since dubai has 0 personal tax and his home country can't charge tax on it because of non-resident of home country. Is this possible?

First, when you hide your money and do not declare it, it becomes a black money for you and it will hard to cash out (if it is in large amount) as the authorities will as for the source of that money.

As far as if he goes in Dubai (or any country which has no tax on bitcoin), cashes out, develop a business etc, that is ok but when he will move back to his won country he would have to pay his taxes on the amount which he currently holds as per his country law. There is no way you can escape from tax.

Secondly. is there no tax on bitcoin in Dubai and when you convert that bitcoin into fiat, won't the Dubai government charge tax or is there no tax on fiat money too  Huh  That's strange by the way.
1178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $1M Bitcoin Valuation until the end of this Bull Run on: March 20, 2023, 05:56:51 PM
The traditional banking system is about to end and there is no doubt about it. One after the other the banks are daying on their own doing. The failure of the banking system can arise a new Chaios in the financial market and it's happening from the start of 2023. The recent incidents attracted many analysts to propose a new solution to the financial crisis and their ending solution for each problem is Bitcoin I think this can help us in many ways. Finally, with Bitcoin the worst-interest banking system will come to end, USD was considered the universal currency which is the root of all the problems currently we are facing. Let's learn first the basic point of how BTC is the best solution.

I agree with most part of your thoughts and analysis but I am afraid that the government and the institutions controlling the financial markets won't agree that bitcoin will be the replacement of the dollar and the next global currency. The reason is that they want to control the economy and therefore they will try to save the banking sector by printing 2T dollars.

This whole system will fall apart one day on its own but I don't think this will happen in 2023 or any time in the next 5 years or so. Yes, I do agree that the excessive money printing effect will go into the bitcoin investment and bitcoin will reach new highs but $1M does not seems a realistic value at the moment.
1179  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xbit1.com - New 1xbit.com management - We will try to solve all the problems - on: March 20, 2023, 04:14:04 PM
OP I believe you know what you signed up for. You see this casino which you claimed changed management is not what you think they are. Did the new management really looked into the activities of the casino they are signing up for? This casino has a bad reputation already on this platform and to be honest for years this casino been flagged and tagged with lots of complaints from their clients of being scammed of their hard earned resources and winnings as well.  OP I think you should know that already because you must have been given a brief before you took over as  their representative here. So be ready if you can because your casino chances are narrow.

I like your subtle advise given for the new manager to have a brief on what's already on ground of which I believe the team may or may not have tip him about it, but going by all these i don't think it's something new anymore to him, the casinos already had a bad reputation on the forum and if he's ready to take a responsibility then he should know what's ahead but the question now is not all about the manager but the casino itself, those behind the management are the ones that should be the first agent of change in their doings.
There is no need to waste your time on advising ops, as ops are fake and don't acquire the company so there is no need to advise him on the liabilities of the company.

-The account is already red tagged which looks appropriate in thos situation,  to avoid further impersonation and black mailing of reputable forum members just like what ops did to the official 1xbit through their PM.
I leant that the official representative of 1xbit have Come here to let everyone know that the op is a scammer with false claim of acquiring 1xbit.com..
Now, my confusion is, how did this guy made it possible the when one enters 1xbit.com, it automatically redirects to 1xbit1.com just he(the op) stated on the thread??

Though the redirection have stopped now, but it actually does some days back, I tried it myself and it worked, how did he get this to work??

I felt that something fishy is going on with 1xbit. They may have thought that they would redirect their domain name to a new site and tell people that they will resolve all issues with new management, but that plan failed as none of the people here accepted this claim, so they may have abandoned the idea.

It is impossible that you open a site, and it directs to a new site without the owners of 1xbit who configured this redirection configuration. 1xbit are constantly speaking false here.
1180  Economy / Speculation / Re: Asia Pushes Bitcoin Past $25K on: March 19, 2023, 07:13:06 PM
Generally, Asia is more accepting of Bitcoin. In general, I could think of a couple of things why.
  • Asia has been technologically advanced in recent years
  • Lack of trust in Banks
  • Transferring money has become easier

That is the current trend in the world, and Asia is at the front of it. I think it will continue in the next decade and hope it will rise in price.

I don't think it is only Asia who is buying and pushing the bitcoin price to nearly 28,000$ (as of this writing). People all over the world have realized in the recent past how unreliable is the whole banking sector and the only thing which can protect their capital is bitcoin.
Sooner or later the US will again start the Dollar Printer and inflation will be out of control.
I think mankind has discovered the best store of value in the form of bitcoin.
