1961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP replaced ETH again today on: September 30, 2018, 06:42:20 PM
I don't think this would last because it is more of an inorganic pump, Ripple team is doing everything they can to lobby their way up. The project also lack strong community like that of Bitcoin and Ethereum which to me is very important more than the price of a tokens
1962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves vs. Bitcoin on: September 30, 2018, 06:37:38 PM
Looking at the argument for Waves, it is all about transaction speed but that is not valid again with the lighting Network on board. There is a reason why people valued BTC about any other coins, it is the most secured network and when you compared the number of quality developers working on it no platform come close to it. Waves should be compared  to the likes of ARK and Komodo IMO not even Ethereum talk-less of Bitcoin
1963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP beat ETH? on: September 30, 2018, 06:23:43 PM
Again XRP has beaten Ethereum to Number 2 on the coinmarketcap but I don't think this would last, Ripple team has money, influence but not the trust of people because IMO it is viewed as a bankers project and we all know how people in the space feel about banks. If they keep testing this position maybe market would accept it that it is more valuable than Ethereum
1964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: About new BullRun. on: September 30, 2018, 06:18:21 PM
Whether Binance CEO sail it or not we are about to enter into a new bull cycle, alot of people have been shaken off their position, I just hope new entrance into the space learnt their lessons, the last bull run was over 18 months with my calculation and I expect the next run to end after the next BTC halving coming in year 2020
1965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EOS executives left Block.one, the company that developed the platform on: September 30, 2018, 06:15:05 PM
This will bring negative impact to EOS platform and might left a scar to early investors. I am actually looking forward to go to the moon and will go up the price above $100 but this looks impossible now. If EOS go down below $4, it is not impossible that it might reach $2and worst case scenario is below $1. Some team members nowadays are always creating their own platform to raise money and same cycle happens. This is not something to be surprised of.

It's going to zero. Dump your bags now.

I doubt the value would go to zero, just look at Huobi and all those Chinese BP are doing, they would continue to protect their interest, we have asked for institutional investors to enter the place but it comes with its price, they would do anything to protect their investment IMO because they have everything at their disposal especially an exchange support to help them pump the price
1966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EOS executives left Block.one, the company that developed the platform on: September 28, 2018, 08:56:38 AM
I am not surprise about this, Brock Pierce one of the founding member left sometimes ago and there has been speculation of disagreement between the founder and the chairman Brock Pierce.

I don't have issue with people leaving a team and starting another project, this has happened in Bitcoin, NXT and Ethereum, but the concern I have is if the main developer leaves. If history is to repeat itself, I expect Daniel Larimer to leave the project in the next bull run and jump on the next big thing is crypto then. People need to be careful investing long term into some of this projects that is why fundamentals are very important.
1967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hidden Bull Market - Big Institutes Coming Nov / Dec 2018 on: September 28, 2018, 08:41:12 AM
Institutional investors are not stupid and won't get into the market to drive  up the price significantly because they won't want to buy at the top and the are not speculators like most of us are in for long time. Again with the increase in the number of OTC trading they would rather use this instead of normal exchange
1968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This is when I bet all into cryptocurrency on: September 28, 2018, 08:36:54 AM
I am bullish on Crypto long term and we that we entered the space early need to be grateful, but it is foolishness to bet all into crypto because we never know how long bear market can go. Another point I like to point out is that most of these projects would fail, the best ideas are not yet conceived whether we like it or not also in a nascent market like this long term investment period can't be equate to that of the traditional market
1969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ether is about to rally strongly says Wall Street’s Tom Lee on: September 28, 2018, 08:31:20 AM
I hope Tom Lee predictions don't miss and can happen soon.

“panic selling” by ICO teams.
I was so confused to see the developers, why did they panic sell? Ridiculous, even though they themselves use the ethereum platform, that means they believe.

I don't know why people are only concerned about the sellers but the buyers are also disappearing, if people can buy Ether at $1000 why are then not willing to buy it when is now $200. What do people expect in a competitive market. I think it would be difficult to see Ether again at $500
1970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next bull run is coming on: September 28, 2018, 08:25:56 AM
The last bull run lasted for 2 years, with the look of things we will likely move side ways for 2months more which will likely confirm the bottom of the market and set the foundation for the next bull run. What people don't realise now is that the risk to reward now is very low. How low do you think BTC can go $3k IMO but how high do you think BTC can go $20k
1971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STABLECOIN: comparison and opportunities on: September 28, 2018, 08:21:12 AM
All specialized newspapers and magazines, forums, chats, reddit, twitter, etc. they are talking and commenting on the announcement of Circle to create its StableCoin (USDC); at the moment little news has been leaked except that at the launch USDC should exchange on Polinex (bought by Circle just a few months ago) as well as on OKEx, DigiFinex, CoinEx, KuCoin, Coinplug and XDAEX exchanges.

Many are saying that soon USDC will replace Tether and replace it soon.

https://www.coindesk.com/usd-coin-arrives-circles-crypto-stablecoin-is-now-trading/

There is no doubt USDC is a good addition to the space, but it is too premature for the talk of it displacing Tether, I know Tether is not perfect but with a marketcap of over $1 billion you need to do a lot before you catch up with that. For me the competion with help drive the prices of Crypto assets up.
1972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BQT - One P2P Exchange to Rule them All... on: September 26, 2018, 08:59:28 AM
Looking at the team, the people behind it seems sound people but my concern is that the model of P2P exchange would struggle when compared to the normal exchanges, the trading on them is very low. Maybe with right marketing things would change.
1973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What number would ETH and BTC reach for this coming bull? on: September 26, 2018, 08:53:47 AM
I have no doubt BTC will hit $20K again since there is no direct competitor for now for the number one position. But I have second thought on Ethereum because:

1. The ICO game is changing and appetite for gaming has reduced that is why alot fo these projects are having problem raising fund for their ICO
2. The number of competing platforms is on rise with direct competiors from the likes of EOS, Tezos, Wanchian, NEO etc So I don't expect it to be the darling of developers for ICO like before
1974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves Sell Or Hodl? on: September 26, 2018, 08:48:50 AM
By now I will thing twice holding Waves and some of these project with two year or more in the space and have failed to gain traction in the space. How many active users do we have on their Dex exchanges. It is a shame that a project that raise 33kBTC not sure how much they are sitting on now could not be in top 10 exchange in the space. Ask me what is the usecase for holding the tokens if the number of users is very low and I just check the 24 hours trading volume 33BTC
1975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTO IS NOT RULED BY PEOPLE ANYMORE on: September 26, 2018, 08:42:47 AM
I don't know why some people are bent on criticizing institutional investors, they have lost more than small investors interms of their percentage loss. I believe it is this institutional funds that drove the market up last year, seen they too were being fooled by some of these investors and entered into the market at ridiculous valuation, they started cutting some of their losses which trigger the bear market
1976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Steal for bitcoin on: September 26, 2018, 08:32:25 AM
One thing here is that no one is sure if it is an inside job or not. I do advice people to try as much as possible not to leave their coin on exchanges, attime I have a feeling some of these exchanges if not most don't have the amount of BTC that some people feel they possess, just ryng as much as possible to patch their way through
1977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] STUFFGOGO - P2P Mobile Marketplace | Token Sale Ended | Thank you!!! on: September 26, 2018, 08:27:44 AM
This morning I was there to throw a glance on the situation to understand what's happening. Some people suggested rebranding the platform by replacing it with some more suitable name. Here it is the link for those interested https://t.me/SggGroup. It becomes necessary to have access to off channels when there is no public discussion channel.

I think I do agree with that suggestion but the issue here is that the team lack fund with what I can see, the need money for marketing and branding. Most ICOs include this into their ICO fund so they won't have to struggle with it later but I don't think Sgg team do
1978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to gain income from crypto 1k$/month on: September 25, 2018, 06:54:52 AM
I think trading is the best, if you are trading with $2k and making between 10 to 15% profit weekly you would hit that target, but in a bear market please be very careful because a bird in the hand is better than a thousand in the bush
1979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100 usd enough to start trading ? on: September 25, 2018, 06:52:27 AM
I think it is enough to start something, what I would advice you to do is to use exchange tokens to pay for transaction fees, which would help to cut down on fees, invest into token with huge trading volume this is very important because you need to be able to go in and out of this trades and not be burnt
1980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Prediction/Fear Was Right!! on: September 25, 2018, 06:49:14 AM
One thing in this space to learn from is that one should be prepared for anything, I can't say this is the bottom price for Ether this year, if Bitcoin hit the bottom of $3000 that some people are calling then Ether price is likely going to $100. Invest now what you can afford to lose
