It is the first time they have done this so no idea if this something just for one time or they will keep doing this. They always have ongoing promotions for betting on UFC and right now there is a promotion where you can get triple your winnings if Adesanya wins his first in the first round.
I don't understand what you mean precisely but it would be surprising to see them streaming all the event. Usually they just stream the fights and nothing after and nothing before so you need to wait dozens of minutes in front of a blank screen between each fight usually, they are doing it since several months at least, maybe more than one year now, so I don't think they will change the way they are streaming the UFC events now.
CMIIW currently they are also offering live streams for NBA, NHL, MLB and NFL matches, but they are not available from all areas of the globe.

Today I had an opportunity in engaging with some youths, Immediately after Church service, discussing the future of Bitcoin, Their knowledge so far, And what their expectations are.

After long discussion, I found out that a lot of misinformation has be spread to those young lads about Bitcoin, How violating it is, how it can rekt someone, and lot more

Based on the conversation, I found out that the biggest challenge currently within Bitcoin adoption in those Communities is trust issues, It's extremely difficult and hard for people to agree and come to term with anything that has to do with Bitcoin most especially as a result of those government approved school scheme for sensitization about the danger of digital currencies, Thereby corrupting the minds of those young ones

What do you think one can do, to educate those young ones, And drive the point that with all honestly, Bitcoin isn't as bad as they think it is?
You didn't say where you are from and which government you are talking about precisely but if your government teaches to people, and especially to children that Bitcoin is a risky asset, "violent" as you say, that can rekt investors it is telling the truth unfortunately. Because it's a good thing to use Bitcoin, but not a good one to invest into it while thinking it's as safe as gold. Layman investors must be cautious about it.

It's a very nice and ambitious project to try to build a fully decentralized casino, because unfortunately we have seen recently some big and reputed casinos doing very bad things to their customers and their funds.
But unfortunately, I think it will be hard to offer live table games with real dealers on decentralized casinos if all is managed through smart contracts. I hope one day, someone will be able to find a solution, because many players don't trust custodial casinos anymore but they like to play live table games on the other hand.

Same here, I haven't checked my email since I don't have much activity on stake this past few weeks.  I could say that my idleness saves me from possible phishing attempts.  Though it is quite surprising that $10m is stolen from hacked accounts.  Aren't they activating their security options?  This is just a user data breach and not an internal system hack, so it is somehow impossible to lose a significant amount due to phishing if 2fa and other security feature is enabled by the account.
Yes, it's a bit dubious somehow he collected $10 million whereas every account that has a balance must have double security like 2fa or OTP
I don't know if he really managed to collect such a big amount of money but we can't say it's not possible, since the 2fa key is the same one for login and for withdrawing funds at Stake. 2fa codes change every thirty seconds and are usually accepted during 1 or 2 minutes by websites, so if one phished user enters his 2fa code to try to log into the fake Stake home page, the hacker can steal his code and use it during several dozens of seconds and even minutes to enter into the account victim and to withdraw their funds.

Because of possible clock drifts between a client and a validation server, we RECOMMEND that the validator be set with a specific limit to the number of time steps a prover can be "out of synch" before being rejected.

This limit can be set both forward and backward from the calculated time step on receipt of the OTP value.  If the time step is 30 seconds as recommended, and the validator is set to only accept two time steps backward, then the maximum elapsed time drift would be around 89 seconds, i.e., 29 seconds in the calculated time step and 60 seconds for two backward time steps.

any estimation how many and how much funds were stolen with the last email hack thing ?

We will never get a real estimate before stake.com announced it and it looks like Stake.com will not do it for privacy reasons
Based on unofficial sources Hackers managed to steal 430K customer data  including email and maybe also KYC information
Another source said they stole at least $10 million from the hacked account, but this one is rather difficult to believe.
Luckily I was late to check the email and not click on the link sent to my email.
Where have you found those figures and informations precisely? Could you share some links about that please because unfortunately Stake doesn't say a word about it, as expected... That's not professional at all for a crypto company, when there has been a similar hack at Bitmex or Ledger for example, they've been very transparent about it.

I've found that on this forum
It seems that even Drake's datas would have been breached.

I'm honest, I like slots, it's just that I'm looking for pragmatic play more, usually the thread interests me, and if I've posted there, I know that there are multipliers in slots but not that high, in fact I'm one of those people who don't They bet a lot on the slots, if you have read my posts you will have noticed that when I play it is to de-stress, and specifically I really like the ones that are from the gods of Olympus, and I do not make bets that exceed 1usd, I always bet when they are from 0.2usd onwards and from those bets the most I have been able to win is $15 when there is a very high multiplier, what happens is that publishing that I have won $15 when there are players who make more than $100 is not so significant right? but despite that I know that it is profit.

I am not a player who bets 20-25usd per shot in a slot machine, I do not have that much money to lose, but winning with that amount is something significant, I think that is the point, but I am happy with your enthusiasm, I am a person who thinks , that when a person bets a lot of money on slots it is because they have the stomach to resist very large losses and one day I would like to reach that level, only for now I can't.

In the event that I make shots betting 10USD, with 10 shots it's 100USD and if I don't win anything there I would be spending the money very quickly, I wouldn't enjoy it and I wouldn't even have a chance to win, and before going for big wins I seek to have fun, That's why I praise those who make great profits, I don't know if you get my point, but it is.

There was only one case where I was very lucky, which was a casino that turned out to be a scam in the end, there I managed to make a good bet and I managed to win more than 400USD, but it doesn't count, I can't say it was a win, because the casino It turned out to be fraudulent and obviously I didn't receive any money, a sad episode, but I know it wasn't just me, in the forum there were also many who had something similar happen to them and with much more money. With respect to the casino that I promote, which is stake.com, it is at another level, there the profits are very high, and of course yes, they have published them in their thread, as well as they have published the transfer that they have made, not to mention the Drake's presentations, except that his favorite game is roulette, but there you see money on a large scale, and not only for the big ones, for the small bettors the chances of winning are the same, I think you should know that too .
You are still thinking that posting long texts will hide their vacuity?  Grin It didn't prevent you from being tagged and from becoming a reputed poster here. So you don't need to bother about that now, it's already done unfortunately. Tongue
Well, I'm a little bit surprised to learn that you are a regular slot player actually because from what I understood from your previous post, your biggest bet has been a 100x one at the freebitcoin "multiplier" game and you've lost it  Roll Eyes. The only other bets you've made were "very little" according to you, and were at card games, but you "didn't win" too as you said...  Cheesy
So you mean you've started to gamble since your last post actually?
It would be a very good news.  Grin

only one day the closest thing was 100x and that in freebitcoin.in in the multiplier, but Obviously I lost, I bet very little in cards but I didn't win.
1972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much was your last big win? on: November 09, 2022, 09:53:02 PM
The truth is that I admit a lot to people who make such exaggerated bets with 10000x, the truth is that for me it is somewhat exaggerated, and obviously with little balance, if that result occurs, it would be something great, because it is a lot of money, a lot of satoshis or a lot of money. whatever it is that is betting, I am honest I have never made a bet of that style, it is something that I could not say how it feels, only one day the closest thing was 100x and that in freebitcoin.in in the multiplier, but Obviously I lost, I bet very little in cards but I didn't win. I don't know if any of the slots have something like that? I haven't found it, but it would be very exciting if they did.
Cheesy LOL you mean you're advertising a casino and posting dozens of messages here each week for years but you're still not aware that slots are offering such multipliers?  Cheesy That's a very good joke.
But if you don't gamble and don't make any winnings why are you posting in a thread called "How much was your last big win?"  Huh
It was too much work for you to go to the casino you're advertising and to look at the lucky wins of few slots to see what are their biggest multipliers?

Rather nice win for me today at Sportsbet.io. I made 346€25 from a 5€ roll on Sword of Ares from Pragmatic Play. It's "only" a 69x win, but I very rarely bet more than 1 or 2€ on a slot spin. 5€ was a big bet for me then, especially on a slot with such characteristics (18.18% Hit ratio, High volatility, 96.4% RTP)

FTX insolvable ?

1978  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to secure your Recovery seed or Mnemonic phrase? on: November 06, 2022, 10:54:24 PM
Quote
Which is why some schemes allow you to add password to your seed, so the seed alone is not enough to access the wallet, because private keys are derived from both the seed and the password. I personally don't use this method, because I use Electrum and it doesn't have this option, but even if I could, I still wouldn't because it just adds just the complexity of storing password somewhere. I'd rather not risk locking myself out of my coins because of a misplaced password.

I think Electrum wallet also has the feature of Passphrase. Instead of storing your password anywhere, you can choose a strong password which you can remember. Even if the seed is stolen, without the passphrase they cannot access the wallet.

You can choose to keep part of your funds under passphrase(large amount) and fewer amount without a passphrase(small amount). If the wallet is stolen, then only the small amount without a passphrase will be lost. You can still save the large amount of funds.
Usually people don't own one single wallet only, they possess several wallets with several seeds and even several lonely private keys belonging to one particular address they've used to receive a payment or signing a message for example. So what is your advice when you have several seeds precisely? Do we need to use one single passphrase for all of our wallets or do we need to change it and to use a different one for each of our seed/wallet? Using a passphrase could also be dangerous because if you forget it you will lose your funds even if you have the seed, which can be heavily frustrating.
1979  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am opening a crypto casino / sportsbook what should we add? on: November 06, 2022, 09:38:53 PM
I was born in Costa Rica and still live in Costa Rica so i will follow my country regulation so with current regulation i can operate legally an anonymous crypto casino
I looked it up and your government will tolerate this kind of operation as long as you don't offer your services to Costa Rican residents nor you can use their banking system for it. So hopefully you are getting your expemses paid with crypto only. Because there's no bank in the world that will deal with your money as long as you are not following any aml laws. Even crypto cex:es get their orders from regulators and get to froze your accounts if asked.

And obviously when you make money from this you need to pay income tax as costa rica isn't pure tax heaven, so i am wondering how will you do that without possibility to convert anything to fiat? Perhaps your lawyer has figured it out as i sure haven't.

Also i wouldn't really see that my money would be safe when there are no regulations preveting you rugging everyone.
Nitrobetting is also operating from Costa Rica, and exclude requiring any KYC of any form at anytime in its ToS and nobody tell them such things. They even benefit of a rather good reputation here AFAIK. So I think OP could really be able to provide that, moreover if he is fair and honest he can warn users and let them withdrawing their funds before applying a new KYC policy if one day Costa Rica authorities require it.

Thanks we are just going to work with 1 Visionary iGaming also known as VIG they are also from costa rica all the dealers are also from here
I didn't have the opportunity to play at this provider until now but what you are saying entice me to try it.

No KYC "BS" for any amount as you say, is a must for a new casino as for now, since most of players have become very reluctant to gamble on casinos aiming to ask KYC and to lock their funds to avoid paying their winnings or to just scam them. So it's a very good point for your casino. A good feature to add could be lay betting on your sportsbook and a multiplayer table game like poker. Live RTP for slots and casino games could also be an interesting feature.

Thanks for the feedback yeah we are never going to ask for KYC.
Sure i think we could enable that and Poker is also in our road map we have live game you can even talk with the dealer, take a look

Thank you for sharing this picture, your user interface looks rather nice. But I don't recognize the live casino provider shown in your screenshot. Which one is it precisely? It's a new one? I see it is allowing tips and your casino too then, that's another good point for your casino because players usually like to be able to send tips to dealers when they play live table games. How many different live casino providers are your offering for now? Which ones it is?
