Thanks, just registered to get help. That's what we're here for ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I don't think there are any working accelerators left for low-fee transactions. This should work: Can you use "CPFP" (Child Pays for Parent)? Use the funds from one of the 2 receiving transactions, make a new transaction with the full balance to one of your own addresses, and set 0.00025 BTC as fee. That should be enough to cover the fee from the current transaction and the new transaction, and a miner should confirm both transactions at once.

The accounts involved have red tags already, but I haven't tagged them yet. I want opinions first, and if any DT decides to tag them based on this topic, I'll tag them too. RHavar is DT. I know ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) What I meant is: if any new tags are placed because of this topic, I'll add one too. I didn't have enough time to review everything yet but from what I've seen in the BetKing thread and in your excellent summary it looks like a bona fide scam. Thanks! It still feels 90% incomplete though.

I've postponed creating this thread for quite a few months now, because the evidence is scattered over several long topics. There's literally too much posted to go through in a timely manner. Topics involvedBetKing.io - ICO - $4.7 million raised, last week to take part![ANN][ICO][BKB] BetKing Bankroll Token - Tokens distributed to your account ( archived) BetKing.io - Invest commission lowered to 10%! ( archived) (incomplete list) Scam accusationI'll stick to the main thing: BetKing.io broke it's ICO promise. The BKB-token was supposed to be tied to a dollar value, with quarterly buybacks. Every quarter BetKing will offer to buy back up to 10% of a holders tokens at the current buy back price. ( archived) Dean personally profited by the terms of the ICO when the price of bitcoin went up (by pegging the token to USD, while holding btc). I agreed it was fair, because under the same terms Dean would personally lose if the price of bitcoin went down. When I inquired about how that is possible, and at what price bitcoin would need to drop to make that untenable, he said "even at $1" he could do it, because he has system in place to automatically sell bitcoin and would always honor the buy backs. I'm not sure when exactly the buybacks stopped (and my Withdrawal History was removed). I don't think it was officially announced on Bitcointalk, so my estimate is the last buyback happened around a year ago. I kept BKB tokens as a hedge against Bitcoin price drops, organized by the very trustworthy guy who previously returned 6000 BTC to investors. When Bitcoin was rising, BetKing was gladly buying back tokens each quarter at lower and lower Bitcoin prices. BetKing's defense is stating that they spent 600 BTC buying back tokens, which I can't verify but it's irrelevant for my case anyway. I have nothing to do with other people's buy backs. What I can verify though, is that a large amount of ICO money wasn't returned to token holders: Total funds raised: 1,046.60623397 BTC 4,614.61055431 ETH 833.38469263 LTC Total: $6,497,165.94 ( archived) So when I changed to this model I owned 70% of all BKB ( archived) I have 7278 BKB left, which (at $0.099 per BKB) was supposed to be worth just over $700. The last time BKB was traded for Bitcoin on betking.io's own exchange, it would have been worth around $2 in total. Currently, the only option is to exchange 1 BKB for 20 BKT. BetKing claims hourly buy backs, but that's only with a part of the profit, at the rate on their own exchange. It doesn't do justice to the dollar value it was supposed to have. https://betking.io/exchange doesn't have any buy orders at BTC-BKT. There are buy orders at LTC-BKT, with the last price being 0.000001 LTC per BKT. That means my 7278 BKB are worth 145563 BKT which is worth 0.145 LTC which equals $8.21. That's close to a 99% drop from the fixed pegged in dollar price BetKing guaranteed at it's ICO. I should have been able to sell back 10% quarterly at a rate pegged in dollar, meaning around $70 for the first quarter, $63 the next quarter and so on. There's much moreThere was also controversy over canceling the bounty program (which was understandable), new games that were promised but never created, ICO money that wasn't used as bankroll as promised, a "may or may not have happened" 25 BTC donation to charity, a wagering contest that wasn't paid, software piracy instead of buying a 2 BTC licence, removing all affiliates, and probably much more. I welcome links here to add those to the list. On top of all this, they're now trying another ICO with a 10 times larger market cap. In the recent BetKing EOS Airdrop, they airdropped 3 times more tokens to EOS-holders than they sold in the entire first ICO (which was worth close to $6.5M at the time). BKB went from "being worth the entire company" to "being worth only a fraction of the company". The guaranteed BKB buy backs were supposed to lead to scarcity, and thus an increase in price. Instead, BetKing is now strongly diluting the tokens by issuing new tokens and making a token swap the only option. TagsThe accounts involved have red tags already, but not yet from me. I want opinions first, and if any DT decides to tag them based on this topic, I'll tag them too.

Go and get me a list of all the people that think I scammed them with that decision and the amount of tokens they hold. I think you will find it would be a small list. I know that it can't possibly be even 10-20% of all the tokens that were ever in circulation and I would wager that the majority of those don't think it's a scam Why would it be okay to screw over 10-20% of token holders? If it's such a small amount, why didn't you continue the buy backs? the rest probably didn't understand the old token or the new one. It's pretty easy to understand that I can only exchange my BKB tokens for something that's worth only 1%.

Yep, adding some fake/random negative feedback to users for one day could be an interesting April fools' social experiment ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) It could work better than simply reversing the numbers. Negative? I didn't change the numbers at all ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

There's one thing I've always thought to be a good joke for casino roll results: switch red and green! That could work here too. My Trust for example would be: 87: -0 / +14 ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif)
DT update log ~ That would be fun for one day! And make them Mods ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif)

Back in January: This time, I asked my wife to make the prediction: $7,800. ~snip~ she's sure about it ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Of course, there are still 11 days left, so she can still be totally right (isn't she always?)! But just in case, I'll use her number again: 7800 for Q2 too ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) In an ideal scenario, it shoots up to 7800 in 11 days, goes sideways for 3 months, and then goes full moon towards my other prediction which turns out to be even higher than I remembered: Since I'm still wearing my hat, I'm going to be greedy ballsy: I want the current dollar value of 1 Bitcoin as a prize ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) That's $3524.25 on Bitcoinaverage (I couldn't archive it). So I value 0.115 BTC at $3524.25, making my prediction $30,645.65. This is going straight into my kids' college funds ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Seriously though: good luck, and thanks for hosting this micgoossens!

If theymos slows hos posting down it could be Llyce, nobody else will beat them to 10k Merit’s. If DdmrDdmr has enough time, he'll beat me to it. He's earned more than twice as much Merit per post, and he can easily go up faster than I can (see graph). Or more likely: at some point a new user like nullius joins, and quickly earns more Merit than any other user did.

I'd say give them some time to process the KYC: @ftp_1988 - I've sent a PM asking for details so I can investigate for you, apologies again for the delay.

Really not sure of any solution The only thing you can do at this moment, is to create your own Trust list. If enough users do that, DT will have less power over them. However, I think the majority is fine with the current trust system, and you too haven't create your own list yet. You've been included and excluded by many users, including Admin: In short: choose who's judgement you trust and create your own Trust list ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

i have the seed...but the transaction completed...Eletrum turned off their servers during the transaction. Assuming this is correct, your funds are safe. Just keep the seed! "Until then, your wallet is not lost and you can restore it from its seed using an up-to-date version of Electrum outside of Tails." If you don't want to use anything other than Tails, waiting for a newer version seems to be the easiest right now. You can of course export your private keys and switch to a different wallet, but I don't recommend doing that if you're not absolutely sure what you're doing. if the transaction completed...how do i get back what was deemed a successful transaction? Install the latest version of Electrum from the official website (and nowhere else!), import your seed, and your funds should show up again.

based on the multiple times this user failed to keep his end of the deal, does anybody who disagree with the current negatives think this guy deserves a trust page with 10 positives and an outstanding trust score ? He has had 2 red tags from Mitchell and BadBear (both former staff) since 2015. I don't think he deserves +100, but I also don't think he deserves -246. Somewhere in between fits the case better. This user got -256 after scamming more than 16 Bitcoin. There it's appropriate. This user got just -4 after scamming 7.37 Bitcoin. The number of tags seems to depend on how "high profile" a user is.

i cannot open Electrum anymore on my Debian system. Did you save the 12 word seed phrase somewhere? You need either the wallet file, or the seed phrase. Without it, you can't recover Bitcoins.

This all looks like weak sauce for a perm ban. Just take off his sig for a couple of years.
What kind of place is this? it is turning into a complete sham.
1. perm ban devs and real contributors for a couple of copy and paste which is not even likely financially motivated, likely just got sloppy or forgot to reference original source (does not look like any ground breaking revelations or anything even covered by copyright). I mean he is obviously not a copy and paste bot spammer and creates a lot of original content. This I agree with. If you would have stopped here instead of repeating the same thing you always post anywhere, I would have merited your post as being worth reading. Now I'm quoting just the relevant part.

My account LoyceMobile is on DdmrDdmr's Rank pipeline. It lacks Merit for Full Member, because I don't type much on my phone. It got me thinking: I kinda want to make it rank up, would it be considered Merit begging if I use it to post my next big post? ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

- There are 3.284 Newbie accounts, with at least 1 Merit that have not ranked-up due to lack of activity. That is surprising, but there are likely causes such as nuked and being here for just to make a couple of questions or comments. Those are the Newbies I send Merit to when I see them. Real users who aren't here to spam the forum shouldn't be restricted by the Merit system.

Neutral warn will not help if someone not want to visit your trust wall. You're right, but if someone lends out money without doing the slightest background check, that's on them. I stand by my neutral feedback from 5 days ago: I'll join the long line of neutral warnings: be very careful when lending coins to this user without collateral. I wouldn't do it. He repaid, that's something. He has plenty of warnings, that should be enough to warn others in the future.

I think you're confusing wallets with exchanges. A wallet gives you and only you full access to your private keys and thus funds, and (depending on the wallet) lets you set the fee. An exchange doesn't give you access to private keys, and you'll have to jump through whatever hoops they come up with. In short, download and install Electrum (make sure you use the real site, there are many fake sites trying to steal your funds), and set custom fees. However, know that low fees could mean it takes a long time to confirm your transaction, and collecting small amounts of Bitcoin can lead to higher fees when you want to spend it. See Fees are low, use this opportunity to Consolidate your small inputs!
