I am debating the same thing. If stays this high I will just go back to GDN. But I will stick around for now hoping this drop will last. I am hoping for 1 SYNC by the end of POW.
same with me.  I have mined like .0000300 so far.  629 kh/s... I hope I can get to 1 but I doubt it.

hey, your signature carries warning "Warning: Trade with extreme caution!" -4 on the Richter scale, this can not be good, just running this by you in case you have not noticed it

Gentlemen and Ladies, 2nd day end of POW is upon us, difficulty shoot up 1,687.20107132 and we are at block: 1,752

must be GPU farm (farms rather) again, at this level most households might as well start using mining rigs as cooking stoves

however I shall wait for some time if difficulty remains at this level I shall be content with my up to current stake and let whales consume the rest (there is only 1000 fish in the pond, which is CRAZY low) I dont even understand multipool sellout although they employ programmatic selling (there is no human pressing button pure if else condition)

I won't feel bad for these dumpers when we are all enjoying 1 Sync=4 Lambos Smiley

for sure.. ok lucky lucky 739.87192257  still decent possibility.. someone rented something for an hour and ran out Visa credit

Advice: dig a deep hole in the ground, put a drive with military grade encryption triple wrapped around SYNC wallet and butty it for some time

and no, no "Magic Chinese Secret military and by proxy UFO sponsored" ASIC device solving chain of 11 rounds of scientific hashing functions (blake, bmw, groestl, jh, keccak, skein, luffa, cubehash, shavite, simd, echo)

if it is I am packing and moving to China for an UFO must have landed there

Um..

Code:
static const int64_t MAX_MONEY = 10000 * COIN;

correct me if im wrong..but that is 10k not 1k?

and the premine:
Code:
 if (pindexBest->nHeight == 1)
    {
      nSubsidy = 5 * COIN;

is that not 5% not 0.5%?

If this post gets deleted. I guess I know my answer...

I will let the answer comes from someone that was here doing launch.

The 10,000 coin is the max coin after POS.

"If this post gets deleted. I guess I know my answer..." haha this is the funniest thing I have read in long

Anyone have 1 SYNC yet?...lol

1.25 here

I had 2+ but sold almostly for some small & quick profits. I need to be careful not to be burned, most of the PoW/PoS coins always hot in first day because diff always high, then slowly decrease and drag the price down.

then some of them take off, see dream, white and liberty

There are plenty of PoW/PoS coin recently, but very few (WC AC CINNI XLB) can maintain high trading volume and make their way to Mintpal. Even the SHIBE which has 200-300 BTC each day in 5 days straight couldn't get to Mintpal, i'm sure Mintpal don't want to add too many PoS coin in only one month.

I'll wait to see how things will happen to SYNC so i could make my decision to invest againe or not.

The greed factor has increased by 10x ever since the popularity of BC. These alt clones are just it's natural course to try an cash in before it bursts. With each new one resorting to more and more gimmicks and illusionary nonsense claims in an effort to cash in. It will be interesting to see how many of these will be be around in a few months.

All you post on every thread is negativity no human being can be this bored, or are you just special?

 Cheesy little bit of humor helps too in the process, I was thinking arbitrage (buying and selling) is ultra time consuming, but some people like it! I would compare to forex trading.. what is boring for one is exciting for another, I know some people that love to tweak their rigs ad infinitum even for a gain of 1 KHS  Cool  Cool (double sunglasses  Cool ok make it tripple

I think alt coin development is fascinating on multitude of levels, for example resulted in the development of X11 algorithm, I say it is very tough to sustain making a living from arbitrage, there were instances though were one can gain an advantage (don't like to cross post coins and I won't) there is an advantage to do certain things with software (speed ups optimization) for SYNC as well, but it is still tough (even with rented rigs) the whole enterprise for me is to hold coins and support development of infrastructure around them in order to de-accelerate arbitrage (greed) and accelerate commerce and maybe innovation in software algorithms and the like, money will come later, no worries

received 0.00000100 SYNC bonus from an undisclosed pool, how cool is that! a fractional "gift" I would otherwise ignore, not here...

but no had such a limited supply with this combination, permutation of parameters in the coin assembly is getting less and less it is getting harder to be innovative in that direction. This coin has reached a limit (I can't imagine someone will generate coin with 500 and POS and let say Scrypt-N, I mean I can not imagine interest again, but then who knows), next battle front will be fortification of hashing algorithms and I hope for some "killer app" what that "killer app" will be no one knows.. no one knew crypto coins not so long ago  Roll Eyes

I don't understand that low price on exchange!

Only 1000 coins and it's very hard to mine!

Hope price go to the moon!

No it's not cheap at all, multipools are making bit profits by mining this coin. Did you see all recent dump ? That mean multipool is still happy to sell at this price.

Don't be naive to think that low supply would make the coin expensive. Look at 365coin, it has 1/3 of SYNC total supply and the price is only around 1 BTC only.

no POS, POS makes a HUGE difference, don't be fooled by "only" 1% per annum also
1990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SYNC]X11 | POS| 1,000 Coins| |4 days mining left|Net Hash 194.36 GH/s on: May 18, 2014, 06:00:49 PM
Steady as she goes. people love this coin. network currently @block 1318 . At his rate maket cap will be easily in 10's of millions, I predict in fact parabolic trajectory all the way too 100 maybe 250 million

I don't know who is selling now but they should not be in this line of business
1991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SYNC]X11 | POS| 1,000 Coins| |4 days mining left|Net Hash 194.36 GH/s on: May 18, 2014, 02:09:45 PM
I don't know where this conspiracy is coming from about X11 ASIC, There are long production cycles to make ASIC reality and X11 has not been around with us for long (I don't even know if it is mathematically feasible, given complex and very possibly non-linear hashing chains)

I am seeing standard hash rate across the board (operating on the Chinese pool that I trust) thousands of people are mining, everyone has a chance (at least now) despite very high difficulty coin accumulation (fraction of coin) is possible.

This is by far one the most unique crypto coins that ever was created and once POW is finished there is no telling how far will it go, can't compare other "limited" coins because they do not poses POS feature. Even at 1% annual and even with fraction of the coin in the wallet it will be a substantial chunk in the future (and consistent) just like coin 1% should be considered as more like 1000% POS because it is all in the unit.

I have a very bright outlook on this and seeing non-standard innovation in terms of supply/POS % and also how it generated such a massive interest in the community...

Stay away from Cinni coin. The dev deletes posts. If you arent talking about the price rising he will delete your posts. You can scream price rise! price rise! with no substantial evidence, proof, information, ANYTHING and no one cares. And if you call out people that scream fake price rise, you get banned from the thread. Good luck with Cinni, lol.

PS. do your research somewhere other than the Cinni thread. Like i said, most everything important gets deleted. You will see many posts screaming price rise, so be careful.

Why dont we keep each coin on their own threads Smiley

agree, and just pure data and maybe some suggestions as this is more accessible (to investors not used to IRC) forum for exchange, I see bank coin as one of a investment type portfolio, psychological manipulations don't interest me I like POS I like % I like 51% and ASIC countermeasures.

Right now seeing my operation pulling less coins per unit of time, but also seeing less and less time left on POW I have decided to continue injecting energy and computing power (till POS) .

I have also noticed this coin grew large in China insofar short time of POW it has. Their main pool sustained DDOS attack (or something similar) half of participants have decided to take their business elsewhere (but then returned shortly after pool recovered back to bank coin, so they must like it and potential)

Global aspect of bank coin is a great strategy to have, name itself "bank" is great , no attachment to any brand is great, total number of coin choice is a correct one (in my opinion) block confirmation time is correct one for arbitrage. This is what i look at not, psychology not even current market value.

just saw my reward sliced in half in front of my eyes... we are on the block 5020... speaking of the pressure.

coin btw is absolutely great and will see big growth. and logo should be changed, this is a minor thing but  it matters regardless

thanks to the creators of this coin and community for ongoing support of this

Not to worry, we divided all the votes by 5 but also reduced the amount of users get by 5 and increased the cost of paid voting 5 times, so overall there has been no change. It makes it easier to vote and also helps us against any voting bots.

bottom line is they want injection of "funds" had to retarget servers against something else but back on this.

we stand at 5.22 % of 100

Where are we at now?

5.56 %  (absorption rate slowed down a bit due to lower Network hash rate) there is a proliferation of new coins (especially of the viral/social/by referrals POS type) has impact on conservative coins to which litebar belongs, history teaches us that conservative approach to money management wins long term. Have a wonderful day!

ASIC devices might be also operational in some cases, but like an advanced weapon they are very selective about which coins are being targeted, in due time thee devices will devour all pure scrypt coins, so algorithms such as X11 also has become popular, for litebar having such a limited supply it is a concern, a singular scrypt mining operation can devour majority and either sit on the supply (bad) or dump on the exchanges (much better, low supply will keep prices somewhat high, till they get purchases by individuals to hold) I would rather have coin switch to X11 and re-perform promotion especially that X11 can now be mined with Nvidia GPU's very efficiently. Believe what I said is holding coin to some degree down in the overall landscape but overall this is a very stable, solid coin and it is here to stay. I think "our" developer has assumed low profile but I doubt he is stepping down , coin is way too interesting, migration to X11 fork is not easy but could be the right thing to do!

great coin, thanks for the work. ASIC's are on the horizon, some already began operating them but not against groestl coin.

price is also extremely low given very professional execution and stability of the operation. I say and not at all biased or driven by self interest this coin belongs in the top tier.

Icurrex will be live today! So nice to have more LTB exchanges Grin

great, also it is true that going on exchange first moments of it and price goes up, many people trading patterns are based on this, but this is not my strategy you really would have to pay me a lot to sell even one LTB

thanks for the info!

thanks so much for your work, great coin and great cause... in order to make things easier for SEO (but not only also general perception)

currently orca coin redirects from orcacoin.info to http://62.254.202.137/  that will impact SEO for sure..

otherwise as they say around here "bump"  Grin  and thanks once again!

for smiles and good luck!
