1981  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can gambling and crypto trading be considered as skills with $10k gain a month? on: July 15, 2023, 08:19:35 PM
Even if you have he skills to trade and to analyze games, you'd still need a little bit of luck since there are a lot of factors that you can't control in these realms. In getting a skill and clients, you are guaranteed to get paid so long as you did your duty and responsibility. That's not the case in trading and gambling. You are risking something in hopes of gaining more from your wager. In working for a client, you are just risking your time and effort and that's it.

Anything can be considered a skill nowadays, though the difference lies on the guarantee of getting something back from the efforts you have poured.
1982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This is not Practical on: July 15, 2023, 06:39:30 PM
Money one can afford to lose = money that is extra to a person that will not affect his current state of living. That is why 'afford' is the term, it's because you can still do things and live comfortably even without it.

I personally have spare for this kind of activity although I have strayed from it currently since I'm more into sports and esports betting right now but there aren't any good tournaments just yet. In this facet of gambling, I get to be entertained more and also have more chances of winning compared to just casino games that I was doing before.
1983  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your opinion about the current fees on: July 14, 2023, 11:57:47 PM
It's XRP for me, hands-down. I haven't had any problems in transferring coins from one platform to another using this coin, and the fees are also minimal when it's the coin you're using. If you're keeping it in your wallet however, there's no other way around it but to use bitcoin as is and just shoulder the fees. But from one exchange to another, just use XRP and you'll be fine. There are other coins out there that doesn't charge much, though you will have to check its network activities and that might take some work, but you'll save a couple of dollars.
1984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You must do this if you want to QUIT or NOT on: July 14, 2023, 11:36:37 PM
Professional intervention is still the way to go if you're already in too deep. For sure loved ones can help you talk about it, but after some time, addicts will just go back to what they're used to and will just continue the cycle. With professional intervention, at least the addict will be more aware of what's really happening and will understand more of what could be the ways in order to leave this degeneracy. Also, learning new things or getting a new hobby would be nice to curb addiction, as it diverts your mind away from the said activity and you'll be more busy with those and not think about gambling that much.
1985  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Make or Break on: July 14, 2023, 11:19:57 PM
1986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A check on your wallet on daily basis can earn you some dollar on: July 14, 2023, 11:04:46 PM
I wouldn't recommend anyone to check on their wallet everyday. This will be a cause for anxiety and you getting disappointed if there isn't any positive change on your account. What I'd personally do is check back every once in a while with no set dates, and just forget about if it's an alt that isn't really getting that much attention at all. The most important coins to look for are the big ones as usually other altcoins only follow the trend of these coins no matter the weather. Perhaps some small deviations here and there but ultimately, when btc goes up, almost every alt goes up.
1987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Appropriate percentage of income for gambling on: July 14, 2023, 10:43:32 PM
If you're not making that much money, I don't think it's appropriate to spend more than 1% of your income at all. If that doesn't entertain you then I guess you'll have to look for a different form of entertainment, or better, make more money by getting more jobs or learning a skill instead of wasting your time gambling - but that's just me. You always have the choice on how much to spend, the thing is, everything should be accounted for first before spending anything for leisure or wants. This helps your finances fall into place and you not having to borrow money just because you 'enjoyed too much' in gambling.
1988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Signs that indicate you are not addicted to gambling on: July 14, 2023, 10:21:52 PM
Guess I'm not addicted to gambling, then Cheesy

Even before I was regularly gambling, I wasn't really that hooked into playing. I find gambling as a pastime rather than an opportunity to make money. $20 on dice a week is enough for me, and I never did extend way beyond that set budget as that already lasts me an hour or two in the casino. Honestly, it becomes boring after you do it repetitively - at least for me who's only in gambling to kill time and not profit.
1989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Thoughts On First Time Lottery Bettor Who Won Big Amount? on: July 14, 2023, 10:03:52 PM
Good on them. They must be thrilled getting that amount of money and never have to work ever again - that is if they know how to spend their money and invest it so that they are still generating passive income. Even if I win the lottery, I know for a fact that I'd still be going to work as that's the only thing that's really keeping me going and waking up in the morning. Also, that's where my social life revolves around unfortunately. I'm okay with the amount of money I'm bringing home but it must be nice to have that much money and help people whenever possible and splurge every now and then.
1990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What could make you get into a fight with your fellow gambler? on: July 14, 2023, 09:46:14 PM
There's really none that I could think of. If I entrusted some money to another person and decide to gamble it, that's on me because I became blind entrusting money to someone in a venture that is a hit or miss. Perhaps if another gambler threatened to do harm to me in exchange of something that is related to gambling, that's the time I might go angry and ask for a fight. Some scenarios in here, I don't think I'll even bother myself getting hurt or wasting energy talking just to prove a point. In the end, it's me who put myself in such a position, so why should I go angry and ask for something stupid?
1991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be watchful it's not yet time on: July 13, 2023, 11:59:56 PM
Most crypto teams are capitalizing on the fact that bitcoin and other main coins are on a run now. They'd probably use this opportunity to market their coins so hard and to shill on it on every corner of the internet. Unfortunately, a lot of people are still naive on this fact and they would still blindly buy whatever coin it is that has the best marketing out there.

Tread lightly; a lot of scams will surely be around in the coming days and weeks.
1992  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot - Crash with the lowest house edge on: July 13, 2023, 11:43:51 PM
I remember one casino back then that has the same name as you. Not sure if that's the same service I'm talking about but I had good experience with them before. If you can get a copper membership to post graphics and a lot more information on your post that would be great, too.

I've been looking for other crash sites for a while now and I'll be sure to try out your platform. I like the design and how simple it is an easy on the eyes. I do hope that your forum and customer engagement is top notch, as that's one of the reasons why a casino succeeds in this space.
1993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the altcoin holders hang on until the bull run comes ? on: July 13, 2023, 10:31:35 PM
Surely they would. Most people who are in the crypto scene right now have already learned their lesson from the past mistakes of other people. People will probably hang on to what they have until they see a movement upwards, and not just a simple movement, but rather a huge movement wherein every single crypto is rising. Afterwards, I'm not sure whether there will be left in the market until such time that the movement has stopped, and it's time to collect more bags again.
1995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 13, 2023, 08:32:09 PM
The MPL Indonesia tournament started today and I saw two matches that took place. It's surprising that it's been almost two years since I watched or followed MPL developments, but for this season I'm again interested in betting on one of the MPL Indonesia Esports tournaments. For tomorrow's match there are two BTR vs GEEK and AURA vs RRQ matches. This is a great opportunity to place bets as it is an esports tournament whose outcome is easy to predict.

It's a fairly region-locked game that's why there's not a lot of bookies interested in listing it on their events. Most of the action is happening in SEA hence, there's only a few teams to look out for. I was also interested on betting at the tournaments at first but after seeing the odds heavily skewed on some teams that are really performing for a long time, I decided not to and just focus on Dota 2 and CS:GO instead.

Would be nice if Moonton expanded their tournaments elsewhere and have a global tournament once a year.
1996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: July 12, 2023, 08:29:19 PM

It's still effective if the actual person markets to gamblers based on their experience. It's more convincing than an AI. Perhaps AI marketing could work, but it will never be as effective as a person who is highly recognized on social media promoting a gambling site. AI has its limitations since it is created by humans, so it will never surpass the overall abilities of a human.
What's the AI marketing you're referred to? it's just a program. What I think AI marketing is like a spam chat where you can send it to every user and ask them to register with your referral link. This strategy will not work because they're skeptic to get link from a stranger, we're live in modern technology era where many people use technology to scam anyone, that's make people be more cautious.
Referral links is good when you have it but  if you will use it you will have the 100%  of winnings and as far as I know many gamblers used other referral link then they registered and when they are playing they will not win a good amount of money but for those people who have spreading Thier links then they will earn a lot of money.

I have wanted to take advantage of this type of facility that casinos provide, but the truth has been a very difficult job to do, I have not had any luck, and sometimes I read many threads that some players have passive income, how do I, what is it? his strategy, I think that when players see affiliate links what they do is go to the page and make their own registrations without affiliate registrations and that makes them have their own registration without our participation, sometimes I see it as selfishness or because they don't like to help, or I don't know if there is any specific site that they leave the link.

If you're making money out of something that literally anyone can do, why would you share your secret to others when it might decrease your earnings? That's why a lot of people aren't really keen into sharing their moneymakers because their share of the pie will decrease. Instead of raking in all the profits, they have to share it with someone else. They worked with what they're reaping for some time so I guess you got to give it to them if they're not wanting to share with you anything regarding their strategies on how to get in lots of referrals.
1997  Economy / Economics / Re: Things you should know about Money mindset on: July 11, 2023, 11:58:35 PM
The thing is, not all people have the affinity to take risks in order to open more opportunities for themselves. Most are looking for things that are more comfortable for them, and if they are already getting the things that they need and some things that they want, they'd surely stop and not try harder. Only a few people will ever achieve huge financial success since only few of them are risk takers.
1998  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest in Marketing on: July 11, 2023, 11:08:09 PM
Especially now that almost everyone has a smartphone and connected to the internet, it's easy to sell your product without having to do the tedious work of planning and high expense of hiring a marketing agency. I've seen a lot of meh products that sell like hotcakes just because of how they present themselves on the internet, especially Tiktok, Instagram, and Facebook. Also, influencers will be swarming on items that are unheard of to create content, and that also gets the word out for your product relatively easy.

Invest in learning how to shoot a video, edit it, and do some touch ups and you're golden. Social media platforms are built to advertise a lot of brands fairly easily, you just have to post your content and pay for additional fee to reach a lot more audience.
1999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: July 11, 2023, 10:43:59 PM
Kinda hoping that they're doing Usyk and Fury, though I guess that it's really far from reality right now that Ngannou accepted the Fury match. I have high hopes for Ngannou to last the whole ordeal against a heavy hitter like Fury. The guy's jaw is hard as hell, and he's also one of the more capable boxers in the MMA world right now. Though that's the case, my bet will be on Fury winning this match fairly easily.
2000  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: July 11, 2023, 09:58:31 PM
I guarantee if they do come back, all will be forgotten and people will carry on playing there. Their feedback isn't affected. Not even a flag. This forum has had a problem with scam sites for a long time.

If they get back and resolve all the issues that have been complained about them including releasing customer's money, I think that should settle the whole stuff and it will build back confidence and trust but if they don't do that to the fullest satisfaction of complaints then it will not speak positive on them and will discourage bettors playing with them.

I doubt people will still put their trust in a platform that has gone AWOL on the issues that they are encountering. It's really hard to give your trust to a platform that has abandoned your concerns while you're having it. It gives you the vibes of them not being worthy of handling money to run a business.

I'd take my business somewhere else. Betnomi was good when they are on top of things but right now, they're really dodgy and doing something shady that I'm sure most people out here don't like.
