One guy on twitter insists he has taken GPT code and made it possible to run completely offline with closed data only so you have greater certainty in its conclusions perhaps and security also?  Since betting is largely on historical game data and player profiles etc, it's possible being offline might be the route it takes.
~

It took thousands of researchers to release BLOOM, which is not as good as GPT: https://www.technologyreview.com/2022/07/12/1055817/inside-a-radical-new-project-to-democratize-ai

And you're saying a random dude on twitter somehow managed to get the closed source code of GPT3+ (gpt2 was open source), and made it efficient enough to run nicely on a home computer, lol.

I don't believe it either. Something like ChatGPT needs tons of servers, and they are very expensive to run.

But I would like to say a word of support to STT, because he only said "one guy on twitter insists". He never said he was telling the truth.

There's a paid version

Anyone tried it yet? What are those new features?

It's simple logic - casinos have the house edge, so regardless of how many hours you are gambling, you will still lose in the long run. You don't count your wins and losses per day but your overall performance. So, if you really want to know how you are doing, you need to record your ins and outs so you can calculate if you are in profit or not. ~

Casinos have the house edge, yes. Does that guarantee that you, as an individual, will lose "in the long run"? It depends on what "in the long run" means. In a thousand years of constant gambling - very likely. Within 20-30 years, I don't think so. I mean, you can lose all you have within one hour, but if we are talking about what is guaranteed, then, no, the house edge does not have as much power as is attributed to it by some gamblers.

2. Many online casinos accept more than Bitcoin deposits, you only need to do your findings before using any online gambling platforms, and some have fast desk help, some supports Tron, EOS, and other.

I think, the more cryptocurrencies is supported by the site, the better. It shouldn't be that hard to support a hundred of them, but then you will definitely stand out, because, as far as I know, no gambling site is supporting so many currently. While there are people who got their coins through airdrops, and then those coins have risen in price, and now it is no wonder that people want to gamble with them. They will surely go to your platform if it will be the only one that supports their coins.

I for one, watched some of this year's nominees several times, but watching Avatar: The Way of Water and The Fabelmans was torture to me, and I couldn't even watch them halfway through. ... Yes, we are so different. But let's not start killing each other because of that. Smiley
Agree about Avatar, I was bored out of my mind and coulnd't wait for it to finish and get out of cinema, while The Fablemans I liked way more than I thought I will.

And for me it was one of the best things on the 95th Academy Awards that, despite seven nominations, The Fablemans didn't win a single Oscar. I know that it is very likely that I'm wrong, but I see it as a start of a new era in cinematography. The era where there will be less films like The Fablemans and Avatar: The Way of Water(4 nominations,1 Oscar for Best Visual Effects), and more movies like Everything Everywhere All at Once, which took all the major Oscars(for me, at least): Best Picture, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay.

(I don't want to look like troll here. I respect your opinion regarding The Fablemans. In fact, my wife loved the  the film very much, and I even placed a bet, on her behalf, on The Fablemans winning the Best Picture Oscar. Fortunately, it was a small bet. Smiley )

Mate, you have said well. I personally prefer gambling or casinos to really put efforts or spend some resources on their customer care service because it has the power to make or mar any organization be it casino or others. I have gradually followed up cases and complaint on this platform and majority of them are customer care related by which some customer care are not responsive in any way. Customer Care Service is one of the strongest department of any business organization because they attend to customers mostly at every hour of the day. So therefore it is pertinent to say that the success and failure of every organization lies on them. So it is advisable that organizations give attention to their customer care department so as to know what is happening. It takes a whole time to build but just a little effort to raze down every thing you have built. The customer care service is very much effective and should be properly taken care of.

I just want to add that although customer support bots work well in some cases, especially if it's a bot that uses AI with natural language processing, I would recommend to use such bots on gambling sites yet. Maybe in the future they will be so advanced that they will replace humans completely, but today's bots are annoying. And the last thing you need is to annoy your customers, right? I personally enjoy talking to real people on customer support chats. And I can say, I had mostly great experience with them.
1986  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the reason for the increase in the price of Bitcoin? on: March 20, 2023, 01:10:42 PM
what is certain is that many wealthy people switch to bitcoin or altcoins, making the price and volume of bitcoin go up. Bitcoin has been around for a long time now and all of this requires a process for everyone to believe that Bitcoin creates something more interesting in terms of any category. social media is now filled with crypto in the process people will learn and curiosity increases making people switch

In my opinion, many people who have never had BTC before, were planning to buy some for many months now. Knowing well that in the not so distant future Bitcoin price will reach a new ATH, meaning $70k+,  they were still waiting for the lowest price possible to invest in BTC. Now that it's rising, and they obviously missed a below $20k buy, they want to at least buy at below $30k. And I personally think that buying below $30k is still a very good deal, so they are doing the right thing, those who are buying today.
1987  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: March 20, 2023, 12:45:20 PM
Because basically expecting about RTP is also not entirely a victory in the end.
This is what really needs to be realized even though in this case there will definitely also be people who always look at RTP first, especially by looking at the big win ratio.
I personally still agree with you and @Betwrong here because the initial goal is also to have fun and in this case I am not too obsessed with a large RTP winrate if it is not to my liking.

Yes, don't look for a slot with the highest RTP, rather, look for the most entertaining one(For you, and at this moment, because different people are entertained by different things, and even one person can be entertained by different types of slots in different periods of time).  There are times when I want nothing more than Stake Originals. And in other times I want to play other slots. Basically, if you play a slot you like it's win-win for you: you either win money, or you get the fun you want.

1988  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: March 20, 2023, 10:06:10 AM

Let me just say, I am in total agreement with you on the subject of drawing in punters to a casino's digital digs through tantalizing bonuses or odds. It's like basic marketing 101, isn't it? But hey, let's not forget the big picture here: it can be pretty damn costly for the casino owners to offer these lures long-term. However, there are other methods they could use to get more players hopping onto their bandwagon. For example, giving out quick-as-lightning withdrawals, which would be a major perk for gamblers. No one wants to wait around like a loser after scoring a win. Also, beefing up the customer support department could be an ace in the hole for enticing players to pick your casino over the rest.

"Better support means happy players, happy players means more money!"

Nicely put, mate! I could not have said it better myself. This is exactly what I think any established crypto casino should have(or add, if they don't have already). Immediate withdrawals and an amazing support team.  This the right way for surely making profits in the end. Because, contrary to popular belief, casinos don't make money from us losing. They make money from the turnover. The higher it is, the more money they make.
1989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Favorite Play’n Go Games and Experience on: March 20, 2023, 08:46:35 AM
I usually play for fun and slots isn't just for me coz I'm always unlucky whenever I spin, but there was one time I was watching my younger brother playing slots and manage to win x100 times. I was really envious, I just kept losing money whenever I play those kind of games Roll Eyes  Cry. Also I didn't know there're new animations they're offering now, I'll try to play later after I get out of my work, well basically I'll let my brother play and just watch him, who knows? maybe he'll win big again.

Since it's absolutely irrelevant who's spinning the reels, I too, especially when I got a bonus money and need to wager it once or more, sometimes let to do it someone else. It's funny that people who are unfamiliar with slots, think they they are doing something wrong when there are no wins for many spins in a row, or that they are "unlucky". Smiley I'm trying to explain them that even a cat can be pushing the button with the same result, and that everyone in our universe is having the same amount of luck ... Some of them don't listen. They think there's a trick I don't tell them about, or something like that. Smiley
1990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: March 19, 2023, 01:20:09 PM
This is what I'm totally agree with you on. It was just a miracle that things didn't turn out much worse. The attack on the United States Capitol, I mean. In a less Democratic country Trump would go to jail for his contribution to that. But unfortunately many Americans, I feel like almost half of them, but I would be happy to be wrong about this, many Americans support Republicans. And among Republicans around 60% want see Donald Trump as the president.

From where did you got this 60% figure? Because most of the opinion polls I have seen give 40% to 45% support for Donald Trump, with DeSantis trailing him with support from 25% to 35%. DeSantis is still unknown to many of the GOP voters outside Florida. And in due course of time, I would expect him to attract most of the anti-Trump support within the GOP. In case Trump is polling below the 50% mark, it is a red flag for him. Because he is a known figure and it means that a majority of the GOP voters don't want him to be the Republican nominee.

Polls are never 100% accurate. I don't remember where did I get that 60% figure, but I just googled it right now, and here's the latest The NY Times article on the matter(clickable):

Looks like Trump is getting more and more popular these days(among Republicans, of course), and it's possible that the odds on gambling sites for him to be the Republican presidential nominee will be lower in the future.

Bitcasino.io 's Predictor is already a pleasant surprise for us all here, but you want to make it even more surprising? Smiley Then waiting for the next Predictor is what we'll be doing till it's on. Thanks, Karl! Amazing stuff as always.

First tried the Gems Bonanza game with several rounds running then finally tried to buy spins and made 56EUR with 280x

Sweet Bonanza with the buy spins feature brings 26EUR

Then tried with some other games but it didn't get good results.

Finally went to Starligt Princes here and managed to win a pretty decent amount of money. lol

Those are pretty decent amounts of money, mate. Congrats!
You had a lucky session there, and I wish you more of them like that in the future!
Looks like Luck has decided to take a rest on me these days, but seeing the wins like yours is what makes these days brighter. Thanks for sharing, @ajiz138.
1992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting strategy question on: March 19, 2023, 10:02:11 AM
~

Almost everything in life requires some element of "luck". Even going to regular work, you're relying on some luck (or lack of bad luck) to net get struck by the lightning or not get hit by a bus.
Not only you can apply betting strategies to sports betting, but, as the odds are somewhat judgemental and are not purely based on maths, there's a bigger chance that the strategy will be successful, as compared to the classic casino games.

If you are talking about 100% luck-based games, I totally agree with you. But poker can also be called a classic casino game, and I personally don't think that sports betting is less luck dependent than poker.

Regarding the odds for sports betting being not purely based on maths, that is absolutely correct. But the thing is that no one on earth knows all the variables needed for calculating the exact odds. It is never the case. And like you rightly said, in real life too.

As for buying an apartment, it depends. I personally would never borrow money to buy an apartment, but if you already have the money, maybe that's not such a bad idea?

I don't think buying an apartment is a good idea although I have the money at hand without any loans. You see, an apartment in my area easily costs more than 1 million but when you want to sell it, hell difficult. I think it is a complete waste of money.

You know better, man, you are there. I didn't know we were talking about "more than 1 million". That's big money, and you are right, usually a property that costs that much when you buy it, will cost much less when you want to sell it. If you have such money, you surely have achieved your financial freedom. Forget about my suggestion. You know better what to do with your money.

follow me for more big wins like this
~

Well, that is a bold statement. Smiley You won, and I congratulate you, but "took their money", no. Stake is a big site, and it can afford a couple of thousands of such losses easily. And is it your goal, to take someone's money? Because it sounds like it is. Or maybe you are just talking in style of that Gangsta rap? Idk, I used to like, but am not a big fan right now.

Congrats, though. Win more in the future!

Congrats bro! 3 victories on 3 bets! That's a very nice result! You seem to be a very good bettor for this kind of event.

Thanks for the congratulations, mate! I'm actually not a very good bettor for this kind of event, because, as I said, it's my first time when betting on Oscars brings me some profit. I do watch all the nominated films I can, but I mostly fail in my predictions. Like that guy you mentioned that bet huge money on Babylon to win the Best Original Score Oscar. He kinda had a point, that guy, btw. The music in Babylon was amazing. I just thought it's the same music as in La La Land, and since Justin Hurwitz has already won two Academy Awards, Best Original Score and Best Original Song, for this music, they won't give him a third one. Smiley
1996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My $300 bet won $417,000 on: March 18, 2023, 12:04:33 PM
~ No, no. That is not the case, guys. People keep saying it like it is a universal truth, but it is not, and it can't be, if you think of it. The house always wins in the long run only if millions of people play on the platform, and, this is important, the house beats them all combined. There's absolutely no guarantee that the house will beat you or anyone else in particular. Even in the long run.

In online casinos with provably fair numbers you are going to lose if you play long enough and have no variance in your bet sizes. Of course you can always win big one time, then reduce your bet sizes and stay in the green for the rest of your life. Other than that you are going to lose as soon as you play a game that has a 50% +X chance for the player to lose where X is the house's edge and is >0. It is just a question of time then.

That's right, it is just a question of time. But what "time" we are talking about. If it's 2,000 years, honestly, I'd be OK with that. Smiley And it can be something like 2,000 years.

You could easily say that big lotteries are proof that people can win. Of course they can, but is it realistic to recommend someone to play lotteries the entire life because there are people who actually win?
~

Yep, I think it is. If you buy one-two lottery tickets per week, it is probably the safest way of gambling. Of course, winning the Jackpot is not guaranteed even within your entire life, and even within your 20 lives, I would add, but it's fun having always that hope, and it's safe if you not trying buy more ticket for "increasing your chances of winning".
1997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: March 18, 2023, 11:31:32 AM
~snip~
You shouldn't rely on AI completely, that's for sure, but it is still not known whether using our knowledge is better than AI's recommendations. If we knew everything and were always right, then asking AI about something would be pointless, I agree. But the thing is that we know from our own experience that we are often wrong in making decisions. Too often to rely only on our knowledge or on our feeling what to do. We need a support, and AI can provide us with that support.

There is a limit to what our brains can calculate intuitively though.

For example, you don't need to calculate the math for throwing a rock and hitting something. You can do this without "thinking" because our brains evolved in that direction. It's just native to us, we just "know" how fast and in which direction to throw the rock. No need for physics equations.

But, for many other things we're actually quite bad at this. For example statistics. We have a very poor native feeling for statistics. In those cases we need math because our intuition is often wrong. See Monty Hall paradox as an example.

With ChatGPT and other AI systems we will be able to tap into maths in a more natural way.

Great observation. I absolutely agree regarding throwing a rock at something that we are wired to "know" how to do it rightly. But betting on the outcomes is only around for several thousands of years. It's very little for us to be born with that knowledge. I'm pretty sure that AI can be a good helper here.
1998  Economy / Gambling / Re: they are scamming us? on: March 18, 2023, 10:37:35 AM

well, finally gamblers who always bet with their emotions will lose all their money and valuables. After frustration and stress, he will blame the casino or accuse as if the casino cheated him, even though it was his own fault, too chasing defeat.

I agree that it is very likely that at some point such gamblers will lose everything, but let's not forget that it is not guaranteed. First off, what time period we are talking about? If it's a several hours long one gambling session, I definitely want to object. But if its months of continuous gambling, I mean, 10-12 hours per day, then, yes, it is almost guaranteed that you will lose all your money, even if no one is scamming you or something.
1999  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: March 18, 2023, 10:15:27 AM

The thing is that it's not them casinos want you to go through the procedure. Why would they want it, in the first place? They just want more players on their platform, and of course, such things as KYC, don't help in that regard. It's the government requires from them implementing KYC, and they just have no choice but abide to the law.

You are right on that point dude, and we also know that the only ones that implement KYC are the platform casinos that are centralized based, the dex casinos do not require KYC as far as I know.

Then it's still up to us gamblers if we submit to the rules that crypto gambling has in this industry because no one is forcing us to gamble in any casino here.

Exactly. There can be sites that don't require not only KYC, but even a basic registration, and they can still be good and honest sites, but the probability of that isn't that great. Still, it doesn't mean that all of such sites are scammers. Indeed, it;s up to us to decide whether to risk with playing on such sites or not. The key is to never risk much anyway.
2000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 Oscar Awards betting and discussions on: March 18, 2023, 08:47:02 AM
I generally don't agree with Academy when it comes to Best Picture winners (looking back at the last ~15 years, the only time I actually agreed with them was Nomadland), this is the first time I disliked the winner so much I couldn't even finish it and probably won't even give it a 2nd chance. Kudos to Everything Everywhere All at Once though, not an easy feat to win 7 Oscars, especially not for movie with smaller production.

Biggest surprise for me was that The Banshees of Inisherin didn't win a single Oscar. While I knew that Colin Farrell beating Brendan Fraser is unlikely (even though i preferrede Colin's performance), I still hoped for at least for Best Original Screenplay but I guess since movie didn't have any woke bs, chances to win anything were slim to none.

Needless to say I failed miserably at betting because I went for those who I though should win, not for those who I thought would probably win. Cheesy

And for me it was the first time I won something from my betting on Oscars. When I saw Everything Everywhere All at Once last Summer I said: "This film is going to get Oscar for the Best Picture." Then, little by little, I watched all the future nominees, and I thought most of them were great pictures ... But yeah, I know, what the word "great" even means in regards to art? I totally agree with ChatGPT saying that it "is a subjective matter of personal taste and opinion."

I for one, watched some of this year's nominees several times, but watching Avatar: The Way of Water and The Fabelmans was torture to me, and I couldn't even watch them halfway through. ... Yes, we are so different. But let's not start killing each other because of that. Smiley

And I agree with you regarding "Nomadland" btw. I mean, it wasn't the only time I agreed with with the Academy, but the movie is a masterpiece imo.
