Stone has been transmuted to "buildings".

Notes:
- If the owner of stone did not have a lot in the Old Town where the stone was located, the Royal CryptoArmy bought it for 140 m/stone.
- If the number of stone owned was less than 1,000 tons (100k stone), the Royal CryptoArmy redeemed it likewise.
- In New City, Rome had 3,340,700 stone, which was transferred to Lucky Lion without compensation due to Rome not having a suitable lot.
- In New City, Rome also bought the stone that could not be stored by the owner, for 133 m/stone
- In University & San Pietro, NewCorp bought the unstorable stone, for 130 and 140 m.

CKG has hit a 24-day low against Euro and 22-day low against USD.

Against EUR we have slid from 0.517 in 2015-8-7 to 0.284 now. (The slide is because of both BTC and XMR weakening against fiat.)

It is a good time to enter if you are a fiat-denominated hand. (No new players can unfortunately be accepted right now due to migration to new system.)

ADMIN FLYING SAUSAGE #24
(Finnish expression for unexpected work that must be performed immediately - Town pays the usual rate)

Building Facades have resided in /ITEMS_U with Item Code "BFF" in column "F".

They will be moved to /BLDG in columns "AL"-"AP".

The data conversion is such tricky that we do it manually, as follows:
- Take one line in /ITEMS_U at a time; they are not listed by chapelry so you will need to zigzag in the destination table a lot, sorry for that.
- Check the elaborateness of the facade from the column "S" and the faces covered (S,W,N,E) from the notes fields
- Create the information in the /BLDG with the number denoting the elaborateness towards each direction (S,W,N,E) for the buildings that are covered.
- No need to do anything to the buildings that are not covered. If something is unintelligible, please paint the destination cells yellow.
- Copy the (oldest) year of the original feature to column "AP".
- Do not change the data in /ITEMS_U.

Confirm with me before you start Smiley

Entry to the game is now closed for new characters. We are preparing for data migration.

Admins notice that many fields have disappeared from the /CHAR tab. The reason is that most data that is not an intrinsic property of the character, is in the new database classified as Item instead.

For instance whether the Character is the recipient of MG-4 is an intrinsic property (and in CHAR). The medal itself is an item.

SCI, IC, even CUL points are now items, even though culture is untransferable.

All data will be put in the following tables only:
I_TYPES - showing the item categories and their parameters
ITEMS - showing all items, basically every thing that is not in the other tables, according to its type
F_OWN - the ownership registry for items
CHAR - intrinsic properties of characters
LOT - lot registry
BLDG - building registry.

It will be interesting to see how the game concepts of gold and stone fit in the new classification system Smiley

You have 24 hours to build buildings!

(and during this time it will be cheaper than when Ultima starts, because the stone loss will be baked in to the building price)
1988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Kingdom Ultima Version Development Thread on: August 24, 2015, 09:56:28 AM
Specification for the STONE in V3.9

Stone has just been made indestructible, which raises the building costs somewhat (because the expected loss of material upon collapse/demolish is already taken into account when building).

Stone will be localized to Lots in the coming version this week. (Quarries are lots, building sites are lots.)

Every moving of stone will incur a transport cost, which is dependent on the distance.

Public piles of stone will be emptied and if there is no lot belonging to the owner of the stone in the same borough, the stone will be redeemed by the owner of the current storage lot (The Royal CryptoArmy) at midprice.

You have about 24 hours to build what you want with the existing rules, after which the labor price will rise and building will be paused for some time, to wait for the migration.

Wizard: There will be an item type "Pile of Stone" which is in the same category as "Immovable Land Feature" or "Building", always linked to a parent Lot. I'll add the stone to the DB as soon as the deadline has ended.

Statistics about the level promotion of the "early adopters" (players who got in the game before 1450, which is in the first 25 days since inception and 16 days since the game first time accepted new players)

L14 Grand Duke - none promoted
L13 Duke - 2 promoted
L12 Prince - 4 promoted
L11 Marquess - 5 promoted (there are currently no Marquesses or higher who have not been in the game 1450 the latest)
L10 Earl - 4 promoted
L9 Baron - 5 promoted
L8 Knight - 1 promoted
L7 Wizard - 1 promoted
L6 Master - 7 promoted
L5 Expert - 2 promoted (everybody has been promoted to this level at least after 152+ years)

21/31 have reached nobility, of which 15 are in the landed nobility, and will receive their countryside fief sooner than many expect Smiley

(I think) We need to open Treasurer-accounts to correctly show who has the XMR that is backing up the moneretos. Currently it seems as if all is my responsibility which naturally is not the case Smiley

These accounts would have as much negative as the characters have positive, and King would become a normal player who needs a positive balance.

New Allocated CKG Items!

Gold Allocation is completed. 100% of all gold now exists in an allocated form.

- The fungible forms of gold can be found in /F_OWN. Unique forms are in /ITEMS_U. (/CKG_COINS is migrated to /F_OWN!!)

- The bulk of all the gold exists in the following 5 forms, all minted in the new mint, and dated 1602:

CR1602A - 1 CKG small gold coin "flake" (will be minted yearly from 1601 on)
CR1602E - 5 CKG coin of the realm (continuation of the series since 1400)
HM02B100 - 100 CKG gold bar
HM02B1000 - 1,000 CKG gold bar
HM02B10000 - 10,000 CKG gold bar.

- When trading gold, please transfer also the items in the (mainly) /CKG_COINS tab. If you don't, never mind. Someone will notice it since there is a checksum showing that one counterparty has excess allocated and the other deficient, and the admins can fulfill the trade by transfering any of these "trade forms".

- You can sell any gold to the King's Coinshop, but you may only take the items above, and the minimum number of pieces. "Taking change" of course ok, if you sell a large item, yet want to depart of a smaller amount of CKG.

- The new CR16xxA series now has two members, CR1601A and CR1602A. Most characters have both, and 500+ of both exist. CR1603A will be very rare, because only 1 per about 17 hours of playtime will be created next week. So it is likely that only few will come to existence. The same will be true of every future mintage until the game becomes successful. These coins are only minted from the virgin gold, which exceeds the 1,000,000 ancient gold quota.

- CR1601E (732) and CR1602E (3,280) are the most numerous CRxxxxE coins so far. Previous record is as recent as CR1599E (220) and the previous before that as historical as CR1418E (200, of which 198 remain).

The Tsurugajo Castle (Art Gallery) has been reconstructed! Hail the Prince of OZ!

Also Portal, the landmark and centre of the whole University Borough (existed before the PofC&S, is bigger, more restaurants, closer to the OT, ...) has been reconstructed. The Prince of Soul spent 801 mil + 548 sqm of windows for the project.

Of the great buildings collapsed by the earthquake, only the following remain in the collapsed state anymore:
- Noble Palace
- Lucky Lion
- Old University Main Building in 1-NW

The list of building/repair projects for internal use only
(Admins may apply to be the BI for some of these projects when the time is right, marked AB)

In early 1602
The Military Sciences Department <-- cheap repairs, modest lux, windows AB
The University Main Building <-- collapsed in earthquake; will this be rebuilt??

In 1602.3 if windows
RWWC HQ & Research <-- win install AB
RWWC Windows Factory <-- win install AB
New RWWC Factory <- win install AB

In late 1602
Townhouse in Barons' Row (Town) <-- windows only
Old Town Police Station AB
3-NW Soul villas

In 1603 or Later
New Dept Store <-- win
King's Guesthouse 1-N-J17 <-- King checks and fixes
Tavastia Village School <-- lux, win
Choo Parkside Restaurant <-- depends on usage
Clocktower
Army Barracks in 3-C

The attribute legendary has not been bestown to this cognac, nor anything else yet, for that matter.

Use unrestricted "historical" instead.

For the next in-game year (any time in the year 1602), any purchase of buildings in the church area will come with a year's supply (168 bottles) of Barley Wine (W1601B) to help get you settled in your new house.

I wish I was poor... The cost of this liquor alone is 135% the cost of the house+its land... Church has truly extended themselves!

1602 Dawns

Oh, how the time moves slowly compared to the Ancient years...

The Year-Change procedures will happen during the next some hours, and will be added to this post upon completion.

Gold dividends
The record amount of 6,000 mil has been given. According to our new yearly (real-week) profit calculation, this is 0.85%. For comparison, the latest Town long bond was at 1.15%. (We will postpone the issuance of the next long bond until 1605, which provides a bond round every 5 years with the duration of 50 years.)

Rental pool payouts
One share gave 9,000 as a payout. Also the guarding fees and 1-SE chapelry extra taxes were collected for the first time after the break. Guarding fees were as usual stolen by the town and not given to the Army commanders (due to the NPC's in the army not getting paid...)

RWWC happenings and dividends
RWWC gave 300,000 per share as a dividend, which is specially remarkable because it built a new factory as well during the last year.
It has produced 3,500*WIRS and set their price at 420,000 m for everyone, 140,000 m for special quota - the buildings listed in the following:
Quote
RWWC HQ & Research
The Noble Palace <-- mostly collapsed
RWWC Windows Factory
Church Offices Building
The Marquess of Arda School for Nobles
The CryptoMuseum-The Hypothecary Bank-Foreign Ministry Bldg
Violin Museum and Violin Making School
Villa Rotonda School of Economics
The Military Sciences Department
The Palace of Culture and Science
The University Main Building <-- collapsed in earthquake

Also the Rouen order of 5,000*WIRS has arrived.

The RWWC is contemplating whether to add yet another production facility. For logistical reasons it is good to be located near the existing ones, but it would require reshaping the 2-W chapelry. In 1601, the window area needed for new construction alone, notwithstanding the replacement of the earthquake damages, was 3,801 sqm.

NewCorp quarry operations have started
The Corp now has stone for sale in New City, University and San Pietro - price is 150 m/stone except in San Pietro where we ask 155 m/stone due to rationing. (Our direct cost of production was 122 m/stone due to ramp-up costs. The indirect cost is way higher since the Corp is withholding 9 chapelries from the building market and thus forgoing the dividends.)

THC (Town Housing Corporation) greetings
THC mission is to provide low-cost high-return housing (the kind that many have now started to offer in earnest) in the borders of the inhabited area. When the town expands, the run-down buildings are sold to be development material for developers. THC houses are currently without windows but in good areas, and contain a lot of stone, so check out for the prices and buy yours! THC will resume yearly dividends soon.

Gold itemization
Our new mint has an invention called a coin press, which allows us to inflate the money supply at will!  Shocked Just kidding... But what it does allow, is that it can for the first time produce gold coins in 1 CKG size (previous limit 3 CKG). So all the unallocated gold will be turned to these coins, as well as CR-coins and larger bars, and all marked 1602.

In the future, the new gold will appear in the new A-coins ("A" denoting the size of 1 CKG). If other denominations are wanted for collector purposes, the Mint is happy to smelt your bars and make the coins. The only way to get the future year A coins is via playing or aftermarket. It currently requires 17 hours of online time to get 1*CR1603A, so it is possible that they might gain collector value quickly as the only opportunity to gain them is next week.

The Town has realized that it does not make sense to collect the minting fees for this week's project, as the fees are prorated to the owners of the Town  Embarrassed So the service is free instead.  Smiley

The Round Table gave 2*CR1524E to all the Knights to avoid the forced smelting.

Stoneton smelted half of its lot of 50 undistributed collectors' coins (ST1600C). The rest will undoubtedly be more valuable due to rarity and history Smiley

Please check your new 100% allocated gold balance in the /CKG_COINS tab! If you trade with the coinshop, for now you will need to move both the items in /CKG_COINS and the "gold" in /T_GOLD, but this will not last for many days, apologies for the inconvenience!

You may bring any gold to the Coinshop when you sell. HOWEVER - When taking gold after a purchase, you are obliged to fulfill the amount in these pieces ONLY, so that you take as many as the former one as possible first, until moving to the next one etc:
- HM02B10000 (10,000 CKG)
- HM02B1000 (1,000 CKG)
- HM02B100 (100 CKG)
- CR1602E (5 CKG)
- CR1602A (1 CKG)

How do you keep your energy so high? I love crypto but this has been a brutal 1-2 years.

I took 16 years from the determination to become a millionaire to actually becoming one. So 1-2 years is not too bad.

You should have multiple energy sources - when one is consuming more energy than it produces at the moment, you can allocate it more energy from your other sectors. Crypto Kingdom is (again) good, because it has become an energy source for many, not just an energy sink.

I tried that a conference would have been ongoing about now but nobody had the money for the plane tickets  Tongue

Hey but you know about vodka more than anyone else - since you have now tasted 100 bottles of VOD and 10 bottles of VOH, could you tell your opinion if there is any difference in taste or feeling??

There is this theory that the VOH would be much more healthy because it has the life-giving water from pre-earthquake times. But personally I did not notice much difference in taste, but then again my vodka consumption is only 14 bottles per year and that only in mixed drinks....

The tasting is not yet over Sir, you can't rush quality! Wink

OK, have another 10 bottles of it...
