21  Economy / Services / Re: Decent Signature Campaign(FULL) on: March 09, 2018, 04:56:10 PM
Hello there,

I did not get my stake or payment in Decent sig campaign due to lack of 2 post. i made 25 posts but unfortunately, someone deleted their thread so that my post has been deleted. as sig rules, i made 25 pots but right now I have 23 because of post deleted. please give me payment in this week.next week i will make 27 posts. please.

DECENT SIG CAMP SPREADSHEET NO: 33 (Dayem708)

Regards.

I hope you don't mind me asking, but is this your first time to join a signature campaign? If it is, then I hope you read and understood the rules of the campaign manager before joining. According to the rules:

Rules
Must make 25 posts per week
Posts must be constructive and on topic
75 characters minimum
Users not posting a min of 25 posts per week for 2 consecutive weeks will be removed

It was clearly stated that you have to make 25 posts as most of the managers here follow an "all or nothing" system. You do know that the moderators are cleaning up some threads and deleting those that are repetitive and unnecessary. Given that reason, it is your responsibility to assure that by the time the CM will do his checking (no matter what the circumstance may be) you can present 25 qualified posts. You can do this by posting on threads that are useful so that the chances of it getting deleted are low, or simply by making a few extra posts since 25 is just the minimum. Hope that you learn from this, as demanding a condition for the CM to follow just won't work. Good luck.

22  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-09] Russians Think Bitcoin Makes a Great Present on: March 09, 2018, 03:21:03 PM
Well, I don't think this is just applicable in Russia. I think it is also prevalent in other countries how any type of venture can be used and be more appreciated as a gift. Considering how profitable it can be in the long run, there is no doubt people would favor it over boquets that decay, chocolates that expire, or any other gift that doesn't grow in value over time. I have noticed how more people are choosing to be more practical nowadays, so it's true that people would love to receive such gifts. I guess being more practical in gift giving would also be better so that the money you used to buy that gift would be worth it.
23  Economy / Economics / Re: surprise 2018 on: March 09, 2018, 03:26:39 AM
In the world of cryptocurrency, rate declines are nothing new. Maybe to the new users and investors, experiencing such downfall comes as a surprise but after awhile, you will get used to it and know that it is just temporary. As of now, I don't think there's anything to fear. The prices are still in an "okay" rate for me. You should just know that Bitcoin always bounces back, so just hang in there and let time do its work.
24  Economy / Economics / Re: let us promote BITCOIN on: March 08, 2018, 03:24:55 PM
Posting a pro-Bitcoin thread inside a Bitcoin related Forum doesn't seem to be an effective way of promoting Bitcoin. We are inside a Bitcoin forum and everybody is expected or at least understand what Bitcoin is, or they are here to learn how to use Bitcoin. If you want to promote Bitcoin effectively you must be sharing your knowledge with your friends so that they themselves can use or try to earn with Bitcoin. Showing positive feedback in a thread here won't increase Bitcoin users or even push the price up.

I agree with Harlot. When it comes to advertisements, you have to target the right people. I believe that most of the members here have their faith in Bitcoin because we are a community formed and united by Bitcoin. Promoting here on the site won't lead to any significant changes as most of the people here already know the concept you want to advertise. Reach out to those who are not familiar with this kind of platform, open their minds by sharing how flexible and profitable the this venture can be. With the right target market, promotion would be done easier so that knowledge towards Bitcoin may be spread accordingly.
25  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Walk of Shame on: March 08, 2018, 02:14:44 PM
Did anyone here have experience a walk of shame (Walking home since you have a loss all your gambling money in just one snap)? Well, It did happen to me once and I'll never do that again. It was the bad year for me (Peek of my addiction), I normally left my atm/credit card at home if I were to visit a casino and have enough money wih some changes for my stay, food, drink and my fare. The first time it happens to me is when I was so frustrated because I can't win up to point I already spent my allocated money for my fare. I was devastated that I need to go home at 3 a.m. with no money literally and I haven't got a phone in me (which make it worst). Started walking from the casino going home it was the longest walk I ever made I pity myself and upon arriving at home my wife and my kids are already awake, I just can't bare to look at them. I don't even know what to say at that point. I just walk in shame, in front of my kids.

How about you, have experienced it? We all have different interpretation on "Walk of shame".

I know how devastating and saddening it is to be in such position. Despite the shame in such experience, I hope that this motivated you to move forward and learn the value of self control. We all are humans here and we make mistakes, the most important thing now is that we learn and we bounce back from that experience, hoping to make us better and more resilient. As for the "walk of shame", I myself did not have any personal experience as such, but I've experienced being talked to by an old man at the casino asking if I have some spare money for him to borrow as he has nothing left. He even told me that I could have his watch just for some money. I don't know if he'll use it to play again, but I am hoping that no one ever experiences such events that people are giving out their own possessions just because they lost all the money they had in one night.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan plans to become the Bitcoin capital of the world. on: March 08, 2018, 01:27:54 PM
Being one of the most progressive country in this world, it is somewhat already expected that Japan will become the Bitcoin capital of the world (it even might already be!). The government allowing such type of development for their countrie's progression and betterment is truly admiring. May more countries be like Japan who invests and allows such usage of technology and may they continue to uphold their virtues despite all the changes that is bound to happen.
27  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-07] Twitter CEO Promises to Crack Down on Cryptocurrency Scams on: March 08, 2018, 12:03:50 PM
Glad to see initiative that promotes safety amd security for their members from one of the platforms that has truly been an outlet for cryptocurrecy awareness. I believe that Twitter is not in anyway connected with these scammers which is why it is truly commendable that they would take a stand against the continual spreading of this circumstance and take action. As Twitter is doing their job in protecting their users, may more people be aware that they are the only ones who can protect themselves the best way possible. So, let's all be extra vigilant and be smart before taking an action. We should all be aware that scams are widespread. We should do our research to know who we should get involved with.
28  Other / Meta / Re: technically it became impossible for me to ever become Sr. or even ful member? on: March 08, 2018, 11:19:32 AM
I know that the merit system can be quite intimidating for lower ranked members due to the fact that members like you are new, and that maybe the chances of receiving merits may be low. However, if the reason you're in this forum is to learn and share your opinions with regards to cryptocurrency, then the merit system should be the least of your priorities. You are here for a reason, and some members here does not even mind getting merits at all. Maybe if you change your perspective, you wouldn't have to feel that the merit system is not in your favor. Let's all move forward.
29  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin eventually disappear... on: March 07, 2018, 01:36:54 PM
Let's face the fact that nothing in this world is permanent so in one way or another, Bitcoin can disappear. We have to be realistic here that nothing really lasts forever, even if technology has some way of preserving it, it will degrade over time. We are in an era that is highly dependent on technology, where crypto is an arising asset to own by anyone. Bitcoin has a bright future so it will exist for a long time and as long as it continues to be flexible or improve into something better, then we would see Bitcoin for a long time; but we should be realistic here that someday, another cryptocurrency or even something out of the blue can outshine Bitcoin and make it eventually disappear.
30  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-06]Four Implications of Facebook’s Crypto Ad Ban on: March 07, 2018, 12:32:53 PM
Facebook hasn`t ban anything. Now current ICO`s simply skip the word ICO, and still advertise as much as possible. You don`t even have to be creative - everyone is spamming, even in posts on walls.

That's true. So far, you'll notice how ICO advertisements are still prevalent in Facebook. I've also heard about this news a few months ago and I haven't seen any changes in the platform of Facebook. Maybe they did change their mind and decided not to push through with banning cryptocurrency advertisements or maybe, this is just really another form of satire. Either way, what matters is that the reputation of cryptocurrency is kept and preserved well. Hopefully what the people are seeing in Facebook's platform has genuine intentions and is not any form of scam.
31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling addiction a disease? on: March 07, 2018, 05:22:44 AM
Gambling can become an impulse control disorder when you can't handle the urge to play. Despite the negative effects it can bring about, your motivation to gamble is still on a high level to the point that no one can stop you from doing it. In my opinion, there is nothing really wrong with gambling however, when it is causing problems then that's when one should be alarmed. It does not only affect the mental health but as well as financial circumstance and your social stability. When someone can't control their gambling habits, I think they should seek help to assure their own safety and most importantly their loved ones.
32  Other / Meta / Re: Is merit system can be manipulated? on: March 07, 2018, 12:22:52 AM
Every system has its loopholes, especially when its newly established. What people have to understand is that despite the shortcomings of the said system, it shouldn't be used as a way to get through it or to cheat it. Most members here would easily think that they would get away with what they did but the truth is that, one way or another, you will get caught and you will have to face the consequences of your actions. Each and every one of us have a choice to manipulate the system to easily get merits, but if you're a responsible and honest member, it will never cross your mind to do such act. Honesty is and will always be the best policy.
33  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you start from zero cash and make a living with the opportunities in crypto? on: March 06, 2018, 09:57:23 PM
I actually did not invest anything in the crypto marke (for now)t. The Bitcoins I have now are from working on signature campaigns; and at first I thought I did not need to hold it because the real reason why I joined campaigns is to fund my thesis research. As I learned about crypto through this forum, my interest grew deeper which is why I'm holding some Bitcoins now for investment. After The completion of my thesis, I plan to invest some of my savings into the crypto world.
34  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-06] Bitcoin on Lightning Too Risky? Maybe Ice Cream Will Tempt You on: March 06, 2018, 04:48:48 PM
I don't understand the need to overcomplicate things just for the sake of purchasing ice cream. I don't see any innovation or progression whatsoever in this case. I just hope that the company knows what they are putting themselves up to and how much risk is at stake here for the sake of ice cream. I mean the idea is there, but why does it have to be something so staple and available in each market you go to? I really cannot comprehend the goal of this venture thoroughly. I am all in with the use of crypto, but this is just really something.
35  Economy / Economics / Re: Study says being rich is determined by chance rather than intelligence or talent on: March 06, 2018, 03:52:59 PM
Chances do really come and go and somehow, I do agree that intelligence and talent are not enough to become rich in this world. Chances however, plays a big role in determining your fate, but you have to consider the fact that there are certain factors that led you to that opportunity or a chance of a lifetime. I believe strategy beats intelligence at any time of the day. Let's just say someone who did not study for a test gets a grade as high as the one who did study, that's what you call a person who is strategic. Since he can adapt to any situation and get through anything, obtaining chances for him would be easy. Just remember that if there's a chance awaiting upon you, grab it before it's long gone. You wouldn't want to miss out on an opportunity that is bound to change your life for the better.
36  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does signature campaign really help to promote an ICO ? on: March 06, 2018, 02:58:02 PM
Despite the unnecessary posting signature campaigns bring, we have to admit that this way of advertisement is truly effective. When it comes to advertising, the main principle of it is that you have to reach for your target market the best way possible. Since this forum is made to discuss about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, then most people here are the ones knowledgeable about ICOs; which is why they have to reach out to the members here. The sad thing about signature campaigns in my opinion,  is that only a small percentage of the advertisers would actually look into the project and post on the ANN threads to actually inform people or write about what their ICOs are about. Most members here get away with being paid without even knowing what they are advertising. I do understand that members who are joining signature campaigns are not obligated to post about the signature they carry, but they are the reason why you earn. It's the least that can be done, but I guess visuals/carrying the signature in each of the posts can be enough at times.
37  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How do I avoid tax on crypto on: March 06, 2018, 12:50:19 PM
I don't think it's a good idea for you to keep hiding from your taxes due to your crypto. Since you're asking this, I am assuming that your country established regulations about cryptocurrency to which is why it is being taxed. With that being said, you have a responsibility to fulfill. Avoiding your tax would just lead to no good. Somehow and in some way, the government would find out and would even burden you with even more fees or penalties to pay. You're lucky that crypto is not banned in your country, so be a good citizen and do what you have to do. You wouldn't want to face worse situations just because you're avoiding a law that would actually lead the the betterment of your country.
38  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effects of Gambling on: March 06, 2018, 11:58:28 AM
Gambling is always associated with bad connotations due to the negative effects it can bring into ones life. I personally think there's nothing wrong with gambling as long as you know your goal when you play and that you don't lose your self control, since gambling can be so enticing to the point that it can be a type of chronic disease (addiction). This is something I wish for people to avoid from happening. I know that each and every one of us has choices in what to do with our lives, but let's take care of our minds and actions so that it would not lead to more negative effects. As long as gambling is not doing you any harm, may it be in the financial, mental, or emotional field, then I think it's okay to gamble.
39  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-05] Australia’s Tax Office Targets Bitcoin Investors on: March 06, 2018, 11:01:30 AM
I guess you're right. You've secured yourself from tax claims. But such actions are contrary to the idea of bitcoin. It's an Autonomous system. Anonymity is a myth. But the community should not follow the path of legalization. We should not ask the government for permission to use the people's currency. We must do everything to ensure that bitcoin lives its life. The main disadvantage of bitcoin is the need to make purchases to change it to Fiat. I believe that this problem will be eliminated and the obligation to pay taxes will be eliminated.

People are a bunch of hypocrites. If you want to follow the path that isn't directly subject to the regulations affecting the centralized part of our market, then don't use exchanges, don't use online wallet services, don't use casinos, etc. No one forces you to use them, it's your own choice at the end of the day, so it's not against the idea of Bitcoin at all. In other words, to distance yourself from potential tax claims, your coins should never hit any service or platform where you are not 100% the sole owner of your private keys. If you make use of centralized services anyway, then accept the fact that paying taxes is mandatory. If it isn't out of free will, you'll be forced to pay taxes at a later point.

Everything that 1Referee said is on point. At the end of the day, if you're a citizen of a country that is adopting to Bitcoin, then there is definitely rules and regulations that you have to abide, despite it going against the true structure and concept of Bitcoin. Compromises are made when it comes to Bitcoin adoption and as a citizen of that country, you have a responsibility to fulfill; one of it is paying your taxes and using services as mentioned above. You shouldn't disregard that responsibility of yours just because you want Bitcoin to live its life. Be responsible but be vigilant.
40  Other / Meta / Re: Rules how to give merits? on: March 06, 2018, 09:53:01 AM
The rule I know with regards to awarding merits is that you have to give it to a constructive post. Constructive in my opinion varies from person to person as we all have our opinions towards what constructive is. What is constructive for me may not be constructive for others because they have different standards. So I guess, the responsibility and the call of judgement would be on the ones awarding the merit. I don't think mods would question your judgement, they are concerned however with exchanging of merits or merit farming for the sake of ranking up or getting bonuses from campaigns; but if proven that you are not guilty of such act, then you have nothing to worry about. Just make sure that the merit would be justified accordingly with regards tp the post.
