21  Economy / Economics / Re: Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency on: September 17, 2018, 12:25:59 AM
From what I have seen so far in this forum and other crypto platforms, most of us want fiat eliminated. But let us not forget that there are still situations whereby we can't use crypto except fiat like in rural places without computers or even internet facilities.

Government will never eliminate fiat currency because it was still necessary due to different people who are not capable of investing cryptocurrency in the market.
22  Economy / Economics / Re: Why spend time in bitcoins? on: September 17, 2018, 12:21:46 AM
We all experience being financially challenged and we cannot deny that money makes us revolve around it. When we find ways to alleviate our financial suffering, we stand our ground and spend so much effort just to see the result and of course, benefit from it. Do you think that spending time and effort to gain bitcoins is a rational idea? Do you think that you could've been wasting your time? Let me know about your thoughts.

Bitcoins is very profitable and that is the reason why you should be investing right now while the market prices are very low, in order to take advantage of the current situation.
23  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Fiat - this is how I see the future on: September 17, 2018, 12:20:32 AM
At a time where I see currencies moving away from cash to digital I think the reason is partly so that governments can control the flow of their currency more particularly for laundering. They can possibly gain more taxation from a cashless currency because cash cannot be fully traced. If i sell my car for cash to another individual the government dont get any revenue from that because it is not traceable.

So in a governments aim to control our money it will leave a big opening for bitcoin and other decentralised crypto to exist along with fiat and will allow people to "trade" anonymously with each other over a completely independent infrastructure.

The technology is growing faster and that is the reason currencies are going from cash to digital since most of the people wants to have faster transactions rather than the casual transaction like using a physical cash.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins You Think will Grow on: September 15, 2018, 11:39:47 PM
As the industry changes day from day. our views as to what coins will grow in long term seem to change.
many thought XRG was it in December, then it was Tron, then people thought less

so anyways
your ideas of 5 good coins you think will grow for 2018?
Privacy and Alt Coins

I am still thinking NEO.
But I like to hear from everyone else. as new ideas help to research other coins.

more feed back the better.

Any cryptocurrency can grow depending on the developers marketing strategy since there are a lot of people today who are interested on a cryptocurrency that has really a potential to grow in the future.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Choose a Good ICO on: September 15, 2018, 11:38:21 PM
Hi guys, there are so many ICOs, such as those listed in https://www.coinschedule.com. It's pretty hard to review them one by one.

Which elements I need to consider, the team? the product? the promoting technology? or something else?

Thanks for any suggestions Smiley

You can choose a good ico by looking at its manager if it was a well known user and has a good reputation in this community, in this way you can avoid scam bounty campaigns.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to pick best signature campaign on: September 15, 2018, 11:37:40 PM
What criteria do you guys use to pick your signature campaigns.  With some of them lasting 2-3 months it seems like a critical decision and I'm not quite sure how to go about it.  With all the scams out there I am fearful of picking a junker which not only hurts me but the people looking at my promotions.  I would like to have one picked out for when I switch over to Jr Member.

You can always look at the white paper before joining the signature campaign you are interested in order to determine if it was a fraud or legitimate project.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should buy and hold NEO? on: September 15, 2018, 11:36:54 PM

In my opinion, NEO is a very potential project, the current price is around $ 36 has dropped quite a lot compared to previously up to more than $ 160. NEO technology is very much appreciated. The project runs on this platform and NEO also has a strong ecosystem. Should we buy NEO and keep it in the long run?

In my own opinion, neo is a good investment but if you focus on investing in altcoins then i highly prefer that you should focus on ethereum since it has more potential than any other altcoins in the market today.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH vs BTC transaction speed. Who is better and faster? on: September 15, 2018, 11:36:15 PM
I am always amaze every time I imagine how much power does Ethereum blockchain has when processing transaction for every tokens it supported. There are millions of transactions are being process every single day. Just do the math. Decentralized exchanges using ETH blockchain plus online wallets like MEW, Jaxx, coinomi, Eidoo, etc. I always have this feeling that ETH will become number 1 someday. Who is better for you? ETH or BTC?

In my own opinion, the speed of transaction is depending on your mining hardware and the technology or the application you are using as well in order to run a mining rig.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whether the new coin can survive? on: September 14, 2018, 09:28:23 PM
now a lot of new coins that appear, the price of its kind, there are cheap, and there are expensive, my question, whether this new coin will last long?

New coins will only survive if the developers are going to work hard in order for their ico to gain more investors and that is the advantage of altcoins from bitcoins.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or ETH in 2018 on: September 14, 2018, 09:25:42 PM
Bitcoin or Ethereum, Which of these coins will rule in 2018?

In my own opinion, investing on ethereum or bitcoins is depending on your capital, both coins does have the potential to grow in the future but still it will be depending on you where you will invest since it has different price in the market.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: crypto going strong ? on: September 14, 2018, 09:21:26 PM
crypto is green again, do you thing is good time buy now .

Cryptocurrency will always go strong no matter how the market price drops since it has more potential due to investors from different countries.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ETH recover? on: September 14, 2018, 09:20:07 PM
Hello guys, what do you think about today’s situation with ETH? Will ETH recover, or soon altcoin number 1 is going to disappear?

Every cryptocurrency in the market can always recover if bitcoins will pump up again, that is the reason why you should never sell your coins when the market is currently dumping.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Mew safe now?? on: September 14, 2018, 09:12:55 PM
Huh damnit i wanted to sell my vibe tokens, but to afraid to log in...  Angry

How can i know if its safe. Can a page be exactly the same as a phising site? I bookmarked it  half a year ago. Can a bookmarked site allways be trusted or what?

Myetherewallet is always safe, almost 80% of the people here in this forum who are working on bounty campaigns are using mew to store their tokens when they receive their rewards.
34  Economy / Economics / Re: How much more fall is possible ? on: September 08, 2018, 09:49:36 PM
How much more fall is possible in price of bitcoins?

It can actually fall even more but just be patience and wait for the price to pump up again, holding right now is very important to earn more profit.
35  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin after several years? on: September 08, 2018, 09:47:46 PM
what do you think will happen on bitcoin after several years?
i expect that bitcoin will a more bigger continuities and maybe that we can use bitcoin currency in public like buying in a supermarket cause we alk know that technology in our world was growing in every second that's only what I'm thinking
what about your thoughts?

Bitcoins will grow even more in the future so always try to invest every time the market is dropping, in order to earn more profit in the future.
36  Economy / Economics / Re: important point on: September 08, 2018, 03:51:46 PM
government that prohibits bitcoin in some countries. If the government can accept the existence of bitcoin there are some important points in it:
* can pay off the "debt" of the country
* Improve the economy of the people
* Decrease in poverty level
I want to know what you think.

I do agree on you, there are a lot of countries today that has a blooming economy due to legalization of cryptocurrency in their country and that is the reason why other governments should allow cryptocurrency in their area.

Bitcoin after several years will grow even more due to the demand in the market and that is the reason why we should always hold our coins and never sell it at its lowest price.
38  Economy / Economics / Re: Why all people moan about the price of bitcoin? on: September 08, 2018, 03:41:56 PM
The forum is full of topics - “When Will Bitcoin Be Back To $...”, “Why BTC is under $...?”, “Final bottom at $...”, “Why BTC is down again?”, “Bitcoin will rise again ?” etc. The last two topics may appear in various forms  a dozen times a day.
I looked at graph price of BTC out of curiosity. I have noted to the price floor:

2015 - $200+
2016 - $300+
2017 - $700+
2018 - $5000+

Do you see something frightening in it?

We all can see that price drops because of actions by a Governments and big whales. Because they have the means and opportunities. They want to break into the our market on advantageous terms for them. Okay, well, I mean, that makes sense. We knew it would happen. But why that have to affect us?

In December 2017, the most people said - "Why I didn't buy BTC for $500… for $1000… f#ck it!.. for $2000...", "I will definitely buy BTC if it costs $7k-6k!..". But now when the price drops so well for us, we see "The demand for BTC is dropping". Seriously?!

So, instead to take advantage of the situation, buy up coins and altcoins, attract new people in crypto world more active than before, a lot of people stuck in indecision and think whether crypto market falls to the bottom and stays there.

Guys, are you serious? Crypto world is made by us. Governments and big whales haven’t any tricks to rule our world. It will happen only if we do nothing.

What do you think about it?

It was actually normal for those people to complain about the market price because they are obviously holding a huge amount of coins and the value is decreasing so hard.
39  Economy / Economics / Re: What happnes to BTC,if the oil price goes up? on: September 08, 2018, 03:37:48 PM
The oil price is going up and many people expect it will go above 100 USD per barrel,or even 120 USD per barrel. How this will impact the world economy and the cryptocurrency prices?
I have many own theory about this and I will share it later, but know I'm waiting for other opinions.
Is this good or is it bad for bitcoin?

In my own opinion, the price of the oil does not affect cryptocurrency because they did not share the same industry as well as the market prices.
40  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you think the market is down right now? on: September 07, 2018, 09:59:29 PM
is it all that is going on with regulations?

Big whales just waiting?

People do not believe in crypto anymore?

is it trouble in some countries in ASIA with laws and regulations?

The market is based on supply and demand so obviously it will drop if there are more people who are preferring to sell their coins more than investing a huge amount in the market.
