21  Economy / Economics / Re: How to calculate profit on: September 13, 2018, 08:16:33 AM
So lets say I put in $100 dollars. I buy while its at a low of $10,400. The price goes up to $10,400 and I sell. Whata my profit?

If I were you, I will not keep on count my profits day by day, I'll just keep hold until I'll surprise my profits after a year I had hold it, just like when you invest bitcoin. Its make you stressed if you always monitor your Investment, unless if you do day trading but now since you're still newbie better for you for long term period.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you wait to prove them wrong about Bitcoin? on: September 13, 2018, 07:52:16 AM
Take it easy dude. In time, they will realize that they're all wrong about bitcoin. They just lack the knowledge about it that's why they often blame bitcoin whenever their investments comes to trouble. Patience is the key to success when it comes to investing in cryptocurrency. If a certain person isn't patient enough, this person will eventually panic whenever bitcoin's price go down.
Yes in the end of the day they are still the one who will regret it not believing on it on the first place that they knew bitcoin. Surely time will come that they will part of our community who was earning bitcoin and soon they will also fight for it to those people who will say that bitcoin was just scam.

We cannot blame them if that their perception in bitcoin technology, in fact some are not yet totally knows about cryptos, so In short they're lack of knowledge in bitcoin. And some are still hesitate to get involved with bitcoin because of some fraud and bad news that they had always encounter in social media.
23  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Crypto help you out? on: September 11, 2018, 09:02:16 AM
This question is especially for those who have been into crypto for a long time. How did cryptocurrency help you, most specifically financially? Did you earn more? Gain more investment? I do have a friend who wants to get into crypto but he does not have a lot of savings in his bank account or any major investment. I told him to save more before getting into crypto because they still have mortgage and car loan to pay. Do you think crypto will help him out to?

Crypto is really make him out to, but this is not quickly as he think to gain money out there, he should wait because cryptocurrency is so fluctuated, like bitcoin currency. Just like you participate in a bounty signature campaign, you should wait until the campaign is success and then after that when theres available list of exchange of your token, you can able to trade it to fiat.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any signature bounty campaign for newbies ?? on: September 11, 2018, 08:29:34 AM
I have heard abouty bounty campaigns and i searched and found that you have to be a member of bitcointalk and have a good rank...but i am just a newbie..are there any good bounty campaigns which are accepting newbies in their campaign

I guess if there is a campaign which is accepting newbie rank it is nearly scam because here in the bitcoin forun theres a general rule that you should atleast jr.member to participate in a biunty campaign. And if there is who break the rule, I'm sure its a scam project.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Alt market is testing you: Will you break! on: September 11, 2018, 08:06:51 AM
Sooner or later the market will recover and if you keep your money in proven coins, you can not worry, the price will gradually stabilize and be able to make a profit

Youre quite right mate, the sooner the better! But we make sure to invest in such a coin that really valuable like etherium and of course bitcoin. We just hold It in patience atleast the ebd month of this year and december, just like before bitcoin rise tremendously when the day come to December.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops and Bounties useful? on: September 10, 2018, 10:08:00 PM
Are Airdrops and Bounties really leading to a successful coin? There are so many out there this time.
Or are they mostly shitcoins, disappear or using your emails for phishing?
Have you ever participate to one with high profit? How long was wait for that?
I think most of them are just bullshit and time wasting and not worth putting some effort in.
I preferred in joining bounties rather than airdrops because I tried airdrops before but it doesnt really click where i couldnt earn money through this thing. And its totally waste of time, but sometimes there some good airdrops which is legit but it just rarely case.
27  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think the markets will collapse on: September 10, 2018, 09:27:46 PM
Market does not collapse, keep thinking positively if the market can last a long time, indeed now the market conditions are falling but we must remain confident that in the future the market will rise again and the cryptocurrency will be normal again

The market is collapsed, but it doesn't mean it is the end. The market still changing through fluctuating each coin in the market, especially bitcoin currency. And I believed there will be a correction after all these collapses, so keep up hold in patience, for the better profits in the future come.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Change Your Mind About Bitcoin on: September 10, 2018, 08:51:28 AM
Many people express different types of bitcoin. Someone says Bitcoin is not a currency. Again someone says that Bitcoin is only a bubble, it will never be universally recognized. Some countries have banned Bitcoins so that illegal activities will not be increased in the country. Because some of time bitcoin use for terror works. Some people say that investment in bitcoin is not profitable. There are some other such complaints about Bitcoin.

But the funny thing is that even though there are so many complaints, Bitcoin has become popular all day around the world. I think we need to change our mind about bitcoin's. Cool

Really, people's complaints about Bitcoin are correct?
I understand what you mean.
and I think people who complain about bitcoin are not people who really know bitcoin. because I see many people who feel comfortable with bitcoin. that is because these people are doing what they enjoy, bitcoin.

indeed bitcoin's complaint is quite a lot until now. but sometimes their complaints do not mean they are proven true, because sometimes their complaints don't make sense. then we do not immediately believe in things like that because things like that are sometimes incorrect.

Most of the cases that I heard complaints In bitcoin is about delayed transaction and high fees in tranasaction and by implementing segwit2 i guess it is being quite solve.  And about those nonsense complaints are just made by those lack of knowledge about bitcoin.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that the HODL approach is good bitcoin? on: September 10, 2018, 08:28:47 AM
Do you think that the HODL approach is good bitcoin?
Sometimes I think that because so many people HODL it makes is easier for some big players to manipulate the price.

I wonder what the community think about it.
I personally HODL for almost a year, I made some money and lost some money, But generally, I'm positive about the long run. I'm just curious about the fact that maybe we are the one who make it possible for big companies to influence the price in such an easy way

Yes, bitcoin is intended for long term Investment method and you were already prove It, thats why you still keep on holding because you believed theres something good fluctuations before the of these year. And I guess It is a challenge for us, how far our patinece in holding bitcoin, by manipulating thise big whales.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why KYC is important? on: September 10, 2018, 08:03:56 AM
KYC is necessary to defend people and their investments. For ex., it could be bounty participants where KYC helps to avoid multi-accounts. Also it could be ICO participants (for ex., to avoid buying all tokens with several investors).
there are many purpose for using KYC.even in a bank they use this methode too to consider the money source their clients.and also they can prevent money that come from criminal flow.

Probably for investors, the requirement KYC is justified, but for simple bountyhunters, I think this is superfluous. After all, they simply do their work, and do not launder illegal incomes.
agreed with you, but some cases even with KYC systems still final expected out come not satisfied. some how they will find way to enter or buy tokens even with high KYC rules and procedures. that is same for the bounties as well.
when there is KYC system then it will make scammers life bit difficult but they will find a way out.

Yeah and It makes a challenging task for those scammers to get all the way out. But I guess providing a KYC is really hard to get cheat because Its really needs your full Identities in order to received token In such a bounty, unless if you have a lot of friends to please used their personal info in order to validate your some account in one single bounty campaign.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will become the first world currency for buy and sell ? on: September 08, 2018, 03:16:57 AM
of course, it would be the first world currency because it is the origin of all cryptocurrencies. It won't be called the king of cryptocurrency without a reason. Other Altcoins originates or is inspired by bitcoin.

If we just base on cryptocurrency coins, I would say yes! Bitcoin Is the first decentralized coin made on cryptocurrency, so It was obvious that It is the no.1 using buy and sell as alternative way as payment through online transaction.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What should I go for? on: September 06, 2018, 08:14:33 AM
I want to invest  $500 in crypto market. I have studied a little bit about the market. As I am not experienced in this sector, I am a little bit confused where should I invest?
I know my capital is too little.
Would it be wise to invest in Alt coins?
Or should I go for the ICOs?

Since you're newbie by Investing on crypto market, especially In such an ICO'S project. Much better for you to look a good altcoins such as litecoin, monero and etherium then, hold It for while. You're not yet fit to Invest In an ICO  projects because there's a lot ICO  scammers launching together with those good ICO, So its so hard to determine the reliable one.

Tim Draper: More Secure in Bitcoin Than the Money Sitting in Wells Fargo

Venture capitalist Tim Draper is bullish on Bitcoin and believes it will reach $250,000 in the next four years.

During a debate hosted by Intelligence Squared and the Adam Smith Society, Tim Draper was asked how Bitcoin compared with his previous tech investments in Hotmail, Skype, and Tesla. He replied bullishly, saying, “Bitcoin will be bigger than all three combined.” However, Draper didn’t leave it at that — he thinks it will be bigger than the iron age, the Renaissance, and the internet and says that the nascent technology will affect the entire world in a faster and more prevalent way than ever imagined.

The Debate: “Bitcoin is more than a bubble and here to stay.”
Backed up by Patrick Byrne (CEO of overstock), Draper took on Financial Times journalist, Gillian Tett, and Professor of Law, Eric Posner, both of whom argued that Bitcoin is indeed a bubble and strongly contested Draper’s claims. Posner and Tett called into question the “strengths” of Bitcoin, arguing that they could be regarded as weaknesses. Posner suggested that the pseudonymization of identity enabled by the technology makes Bitcoin transactions the perfect vehicle for sophisticated criminal transactions. Tett focused on the risk involved with trusting computers with finance as they can be hacked, are prone to faults, and that Bitcoin is a “terrible store of value.”

These arguments won’t be anything new to anyone who has studied the space, and the rebuttals of Draper and Byrne won’t come as a surprise either. The pair acknowledged that Bitcoin was imperfect and drew attention to the fact the technology was designed to be open source so that unforeseen problems can be managed by the community. Byrne also pointed out that although Bitcoin has been “hacked at” more than anything in history, but unlike banks, it has yet to be defeated.

Draper was more brazen in his responses and implored the crowd to use fiat if they were looking to facilitate their own criminal activity as many Bitcoin criminals get caught. The venture capitalist responded to Tett’s admission that she invests in several different fiat currencies by saying, “I’m so much more secure in my Bitcoin than I am in the money that’s sitting there in Wells Fargo.”

Who is right?
The short answer is it’s far too early to tell, but it is good to see the subject being discussed in this manner. Before the debate, Gillian Tett remarked that if both sides of an argument aren’t heard in the same room, on the same day, then the conversations can “go past one another.” It’s probably safe to say she’s right here because, although there is no shortage of media on either side of the argument, real debate on the subject can be difficult to find.

If crypto is going to head down the road Draper expects, its advocates need to be able to argue their case outside of the crypto community, and debate should be welcome as it not only gives both sides the ability to speak but also the ability to listen.

Draper’s comments are to be expected
As crypto enthusiasts, it’s easy to agree when figures like Draper sing the praises of Bitcoin, but we shouldn’t let confirmation bias get in the way of the issues. Draper is a successful investor, and he hasn’t arrived there without making mistakes. He could be wholly right, wrong, or somewhere in between — the latter is most likely. Draper allegedly owns 30,000 BTC, so he has a vested interest in Bitcoin’s success. That does not mean he is wrong, but it does mean his comments should be taken with a pinch of salt. Well-reasoned arguments are far more convincing than hype and chest beating because they allow people to make up their own minds.

The emergence of DLT might eclipse the impact of other innovations, but for now, the emphasis is not on critics to prove the crypto community wrong. It’s up to those who champion DLT to convince the world they’re right.

Obviously Its in the bank but if you want a higher profits you may proceed to crypto Investment, but the difference Its much riskier rather than bank because the market of the cryptocurrency Is not stable, while In the bank you can estimated how much profit you will earn after the several years passed.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid ICO scam on: September 05, 2018, 09:44:23 AM
I mean, is there an exact list of rules that could guarantee that someone who follows them will surely not become a victim of another ICO scam. Of course there are obvious rules like event participation, reputation of team members among ather prifessionals, approve by well-known advisors. But potential scammers also know all these criteria and know what to fake exactly.

Is there a 'blockchain way' to create an algorithm, scheme or set of conditions allowing to recognise and ban scammers? Not government laws way which also good for the market in my opinion.

Would be appreciate a link to an old thread, perhaps I just didn't find it.

UPD Best Advices:
  • learn about previous ICO projects, select viable ones and participate similar ICOs
  • invest in an ICO with a working prototype only

To avoid ICO scam, you must study first the ICO projects that you Intend to invest or join to Its bounty campaign. Read its whitepaper, Its roadmap and what products did they want to promote, if you think Its good and no suspicious things, then go for It.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop !! is it worth it ! on: September 05, 2018, 09:07:26 AM
I see many people following the Airdrop channels

They enter every Airdrop , Share posts on Twitter and Facebook

Is it possible to make some money from Airdrops

If Yes is it worth this the time and work ?

Yes! But I guess Its only 10% of chances to make earn money with this activities because most of the airdrop token were just only small value In exchanges. Its just rarely case to get a huge price token. I think airdrops are juat depend on a person how lucky he or she Is.

37  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not be Greedy on: September 05, 2018, 08:23:33 AM
In my opinion, the best time to sell is when the market price of the coin is 20%+ higher than the market price at which you bought the coin. Dont wait till the market price is 95%+ before you sell. That only happens when you got your eyes glues to your machine 24/7. Dont be greedy... Make a little profit and grow it over time. Cryptomarket is growing and full of terror! Be careful

Yeah, In that way, we can avoid of lossing our profits because usually some tokens will Increase so much but when It comes to drop Its value it is really hard to came back again Its usual price or even near to Its ICO price.
38  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to overcome my fear and how to start trading? on: September 05, 2018, 08:02:13 AM
Hi I am just new in the trading, I just want to ask how to overcome my fear in trading and what should I do to start trading. I also want to trade with a short term cause I need to earn daily for my daily needs can someone help me and give some that I used to start my trading now.

To make easy to understand on how to start trading In different cryptos exchanges, you must watch first the sample video on youtube just sesrch for it, what exchanges do you want to learn. Then, since you're new In trading, Its better If you start in a small amount, to avoid big loss and lost hopes.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH so popular on: September 03, 2018, 08:26:05 AM
Eth has become popular, do you know the reasons?
I think people are too stress with BTC decreasing, then they sell BTC out to buy more ETh.

Etherium Is usually used by some ICO projects to promote their products by making a smart contract where as they used erc20 token and that is etherium obviously. And because of smart contract many ICO projects had successfully raised their token to make a Initially coin In the market. And that is my perception why etherium made its fame.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token goes down. Wait or sell? on: September 03, 2018, 08:03:55 AM
Hello everyone!

We all know that the situation with market is not that good as we want it to be. Thus it affects a lot of ICO projects. On the one hand people don't invest in coin so much money as they did last year. On the other bounty hunters sell tokens fast and the price goes very low. That is why some projects prefer list their token on Idex first. They want to see how a coin plays on market.

And what investors should do in such situation? Sell all they have for small money or wait until a token will go up?

I'm asking as a person working in such project. After ICO token price went down (KCY, I'm sure you heard of it). And It is interesting to know investor's opinion about such situation.

What is your idea?

If I were the Investors, I should be patience for holding my tokens or coins In a short time that could be atleast reach my target price on the market. Then, I will automatically dumped all my coins. Pateince Is required for some critical Investment, like here in cryptos, If you don't have this key, I guess you will easily get discouraged and sell your tokens even the market Is down.
