Has a request been made to add this to coinmarketcap yet? Would love to have it on blockfolio as well.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitCurrencyPro - BTCRP - Masternodes - Trading on coinsmarkets.com on: November 15, 2017, 07:03:50 PM
So large dumping is good but small dumping from faucets and aidrops is bad?

Active trading is good, the size of the trade doesn't matter. If people who swapped their BTCR to BTCRP want to sell than that is fine. At some point in the past they paid for the coins and supported the network. If Masternodes and PoS miners want to sell their newly minted BTCRP, that is fine since they are supporting the network. Especially for Masternodes since they have  a high chance of having to pay for hosting fees.

I will conduct an airdrop on coinsmarkets, but it will be for the 1000 most active traders. This will be to inject more liquidity into the orderbook to promote tighter spreads and hopefully get more masternodes online.

Your best bet for getting free BTCRP is to become a top 1000 trader on coinsmarkets.

This will be good to drive volume for the CMC listing and eventually blockfolio even if it causes some initial sell off.

The wallet is far better than most other coins with similar feature sets Cheesy Understandable why it would be cloned.

Please enable the rich list, why release the explorer without it?

Edit: Can we assume the 30000 premine will not be used for staking? That would be nearly 10% of the PoW phase so not exactly going to result in 0.00006% as mentioned in the ANN unless its not staked.

aerium is looking good thanks devs!

Thanks!
Explorer is online! http://18.216.79.110:3001/

Please go to discord to get updated.

  • Rich list will be added soon. Why release without it? So people can see the network hash rate, block height, and difficulty, as well as transactions, which is what it's originally for
  • Are you one of those who expect the dev to work for free? Again, it's 0.00006% premine based on the maximum total supply.
  • Some of the premine will be used for airdrops and exchange listing fee.

No issue with the dev earning for the effort but its a fundamental factor in calculating future PoS earnings.

No worries. Don't forget there's block maturity as a factor as well, so it's not like you will continuously hit stakes when you have more coins compared to everyone Smiley

I just wish BTC was not 160000 transactions behind so that my Nicehash deposit can confirm  Tongue

27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Binary-Chain - VeriCoin and Verium - The First Dual-Blockchain Protocol on: November 12, 2017, 05:11:56 AM
Super project, beautiful community, good team, very good developer. trader & crypto Worker since 2016.

Only negative point, since 4-5 months:

- requires big investment worker for now
- diff to explode

Profit !!

probably datacenter in chinese or other .. why ?!
You will see workers 15Kh/s, 20Kh/s scrypt² .... on the pools

Ex algo: 15-20 Kh/s cryptonigh (Monero) = ~ 2 Kh/s scrypt² verium. Currently.

Hard Smiley

Botnets are a problem for most CPU coins in particular Verium and Zoin attract a lot of interesting mining traffic but it is still quite possible to earn coins as a small scale miner and the movement to mine using SBC/ARM has really made it a lot of fun as well. I do wish they (botnets) were not part of the mix but its really not that different to giant ASIC or GPU farms in other coins or POS coins where 2-3 individuals hold 50% of the supply.

Verium/Vericoin are 100% in the sleeping giants category with technically competent team members, reasonable coin supplies and true innovation.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitCurrencyPro - BTCRP - Masternodes - Trading on coinsmarkets.com on: November 08, 2017, 05:13:48 PM
can i ask why you guys take so long to list an exchange? the project start at April, and now almost 7 months?

There was a coin swap involved, so BTCR was listed previously but the last month has seen a coin swap to BTCRP with masternodes and that chain has now been listed.

Alright, I am in with 2 nodes. When can we expect so be seen coinmarketcap and are there any confirmed exchange listings ahead?  Smiley

How many BTCRP ca you get with 2 nodes bro?

About 950 a day for 2 nodes but more are coming online so it will decrease slightly. The detail is visible on mnrank.com with the column for coins per day

Well done on the first exchange listing and a spot on mnrank.com.  Smiley
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SKELR] SkeletonRevive - Masternodes Swap on: November 04, 2017, 07:47:38 AM
Moving well now, masternodes work well and the wallet is fine. Hopefully there will be some more interest soon.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SKELR] SkeletonRevive - Masternodes Swap on: November 02, 2017, 06:54:05 PM
Looks like the chain is stuck at 580, could people with empty wallets disable staking either by locking the wallet or adding staking=0 to the config file.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SKELR] SkeletonRevive - Masternodes Swap on: November 01, 2017, 10:37:23 AM
Sync stuck even using the nodes on the block explorer, anybody got working nodes? (Fixed with some patience)

Swap also went well, thank you

Another EDIT: Masternodes seem to be working, already getting payouts.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitCurrency - BTCR - Swapping to MasterNode Chain on: November 01, 2017, 06:39:21 AM
I assume you are having trouble syncing, please do the following;

1. Open the wallet
2. Click Help and select debug window
3. In the window that open select the console tab
4. You now have a window where you can type commands, type the following without the quotes "addnode bitcurrencypro.ga onetry" and hit enter/return

If the above does not work (it will since its the block explorer)

5. Type again "addnode 154.127.61.75:32138 onetry" return/enter
6. Type again "addnode 45.77.91.38:32138 onetry" return/enter

This will get your wallet syncing

Hello when comes simple version of BTCRP Windows QT Wallet because https://mega.nz/#! H15Fyayb! HpX-0SmgdqSxQEWtGSrjPlvbXZDXVAR9NE8hPT4G-3s is not working

Small update on this, it seems that running start all may fix this, I have had 3 nodes running without issues now but not starting them individually. May be worth trying for others with the same trouble on multiple nodes.

Just want to add that another coin holder pointed out a problem and I have confirmed it, running several nodes from a single cold wallet seems to cause strange problems with nodes dying or reporting odd error messages. You can see failed nodes by running "./BitCurrencyProd masternode status" on your VPS. A key sign is a weird 00000 VIN. The following has been tried without success so far

1) Running Genkey for each node again
2) Moving the coins to another address in the same wallet to get a new "output"
3) Forcing connection to the node with "addnode VPSIP onetry"

Looking into it as best as possible but wondering if anybody else has any feedback running more than 2 nodes from a single cold wallet?

Are you implementing masternodes? Any expected launch date?

Also noticed Shield popping up on Masternodes.pro so wondering about that as well

Wow, thanks. Really awesome. Hopefully the masternode guide and block explorer will attract some more people to the project.

I didn't have a bounty for a block explorer but since you took the initiative to set one up and the block explorer works, I have sent you 100,000 BTCRP. Thank You!

Thank you, received and I can confirm now that multiple nodes do work from a single cold wallet.

I went ahead and built the block explorer since it will help with CMC and exchange listings later. It can be found here; http://bitcurrencypro.ga/ (still some cleanups to do but functional)

Any donations would be appreciated from people here if they find it helpful. BL1X2XQbgFQckJrPRSG8x1JpZax2KDXm9F

Claiming this bounty with https://www.netlife.co.za/bitcurrency-pro-btcrp-masternode-setup-guide/ , please send to BP3PMWZeZw1QPbzAUaprcf6wtyxcaLDCTE

I am heading to bed soon but will answer questions if anybody needs help over the coming days.

Is there any chance for a bounty on a block explorer?

100,000 BTCRP bounty to the first person who posts up a BTCRP masternode setup guide.

- Must be detailed
- Must use BTCRP Wallet
- Must include screenshots.

Excellent. You have earned the 100,000 BTCRP bounty. I have sent the coins. Thank You!

Hi finally got things compiled today, just had to make some time to get to it. Busy completing the guide now and I can confirm that the following configurations work;

Hot Windows/Cold Windows
Hot Windows
Hot Linux/Cold Windows (The one everyone wants)

Just putting it together nicely and I will share here.

Successfully swapped, was quick and painless. Thanks

EDIT: I am 90% of the way through a masternode guide, I have encountered two issues though;

1) LevelDB in the makefile, I added -lleveldb to this line  $(LINK) $(xCXXFLAGS) -o $@ $^ $(xLDFLAGS) $(LIBS) -lleveldb and it compiled
2) I get *** stack smashing detected *** when running the daemon

Any clue what I am doing wrong?

EDIT2: Would it be possible to provide a tar version of the source code or the github path? Somewhere where file permissions are retained unlike a zip file.

Can some one please help Toris to finalise the masternode guide.  I really want to get one up and running.

Thanks.

Hi TroisZA... did you manage to complete the masternode guide.  I would like to set one up.

Thanks,
Breezy
